This place is not on my way to work, but they have excellent customer service and the food is always fresh and delicious. Trust me its worth it! I will come back again soon

Staff is great, food there is good, its a meat market and small restaurant. Prices may he a bit more than your grocery store, but its majority is mexican items

Customer service wise the staff is always friendly. But this morning my husband went to buy barbacoa and it didn’t taste right. Come to find out it was mixed with pork meat. Not the best combination.

Ive been here several times. Their meat selection is awesome! Their produce and Mexican bread are excellent. I havent eaten at their restaurant yet but the menu looks good. The people that work there are genuinely nice. They are bilingual too.

The store was huge, the conchas look so good, the meat tastes great, vegetables great, service fantastic, everything was very clean, the food smells amazing, the prices were low. Will for sure be coming back often.

If you can get over the flow of paying at cashier first then ordering its fantastic. Great breakfast tacos and awesome options. Wish the flour tortillas were hand made but still at $ 1.19 you get a great deal.

Bought chicken wings for fathers day and they were bad after I barbe q them a bad smell came from them, I took the reciept the next day and they want me to bring the bad wing back to them for a refund, they heavy seasoned to made them look good, this is the last time buying meat from this nasty place.

This place is always great to shop. They have a veritable selection of mexican products. The meat is fresh and its worth the $$. The prices are competitive with other stores.

Tried to call numerous times. kept hanging up on me as soon as I spoke in english. One time she said in perfect English one moment please and hung up the phone again. I have been a customer of this store for many years. I dont appreciate the treatment I received today. I expected to be treated much better than this. Food is great but the customer service of employees is bad. No good customer at all cashier and manager look mad always. And the manager cook take to long get orders out just talks a lot. I order the 3 taco and give me big piece where I need cut them because to big to chew them. And give me half ass service. And top there to expensive there taco 2.00 each the lunch trucks are cheap and better serivce.

Entrusting that the quality of your products, especially meat, I started to cook the meat. I immediately picked up a foul odor. It was disgusting. I immediately called the meat market and a male said of course i could take the product back.Well this time my husband made the run, and encountered the rudest cashier who would not refund us because I had begun to cook the meat. She would not give us the name of the manager and was annoyed that my husband was even there. I cant understand this level of rudeness.To top this all up, the we had also purchased a Crema La Vaquita, with an expiration of May 1, 2019. Today is the May the 5th.

Horrible customer service !! We bought more than a pound of barbacoa and they wouldnt give us salsa. Every place around gives you salsa with the purchase of meat.

Tons of delicious pre-marinated pork, beef, and chicken that are tenderized and spiced up ready to be thrown on the pit or cooked in a pan. They also have everything else youll need or want from a market in Mexico. You can save lots of cooking time by buying their containers of freshly made salsa Verde, Roja, Pico de gallo, guacamole, flan etc.

The worst Marinated Beef Back Ribs @ $2.49 lb. Ive ever bought. They should call them Bones Marinated Ribs. They hardly had NO meat. Even my dog complained about them. Do not buy these ribs!

Best fresh tacos at a reasonable price. Buy meat by the pound and make your own tacos with their fresh avocados, cilantro, salsa, Mexican cheese, and tortillas.

I thought meat was cheaper but it was more expensive than heb next door to home.

The kitchen its a chaos at peak hours.. very disorganized people there, not really interested on helping customers, and even with cocky and stupid attitude. The food its not really good, they advertise authentic Mexican food but in reality its not.the rest of the store meets the medium standards. Still room for improvement but they try to keep the store clean and organized, they need to find a way to keep so many Flys inside the store. The meat its good and fresh but I try to stay away from the marinated meat. It has a very umpleasent aftertaste..at least for me.. the cashiers are very friendly and helpful.

I was there this morning after almost a year later from last time I was there. The barbacoa and carnitas looked delicious. I got in line for over 5 minutes to he told that I order those in counter so I go get in line by counter, after almost 15 minutes I m told that to order by pound, Im supposed to get on side of counter! So I go stand by side of counter and after 5 more minutes of just standing there, I left! Their customer service is as bad or worse than a year ago.

Meat market employees were great, but the cashier was rude and was not even on the checkstand, after waiting for her with my items on belt she appears and say “of no not there ... I’m on 2” so I had to move all my items to the register she was standing without bother to help transferring them and before I even said anything she say “oh and no English please “ she was very unhelpful,rude and disrespectful. Bad experience bad customer service had a terrible experience after we bought rotten Chicken wings that had a terrible smell. We ask to speak to a manager that was really rude after we asked if we could just EXCHAGE. NOT RETURN. We just wanted to get something we could eat. I just want to start off by saying I am usually not the kind of guy that takes my time to write reviews but enough is enough Iv come to this meat market a few times thinking itll get better or maybe I caught them in a bad day but EVERYTIME I go is the same thing and someone needs to do something about that TERRIBLE staff they have working in the meat section. This is the WORST meat market in Houston. If I could give them a negative star I would, I dont know where to begin. First of all the employees they have in the meat section are unprofessional, rude and flat out LAZY. EVERY TIME I go they still have like 1 hour before they close and they never want to prep the meat because they already cleaned the machines seriously? If youre that desperate to go home dont show up to work PERIOD. Another time I had been waiting 10+minutes and they hand another customer he meat I ordered and when I told the employee that was mine he just busts out laughing with the other guys like if Im some kind of joke, no Im sorry sir or my mistake nothing just JAJAJAJA. Dont get me started with how terrible the meat is oh my god its NOTHING BUT skin and the fajita isnt cheap they need to get better workers that actually do their job but no they keep leaving all that skin on purpose so they can weigh it and itll weigh more so itll be more money. I hope someone is reading this and does something about this because this is ridiculous. For customers like myself that are wanting to buy good meat and not skin save yourself the time and go to a smaller local meat market I promise you the meat will be waaaaaaay better and you wont have to waste your time like I did.

MmhhhhmmmmazingIm a 63 white guy but I was born with the taste buds of a messcan. Ive been treated pretty crappy throughout my life when I get my barbacoa at a place like this. Several times Ive been given a heap of fat then the No ingles bull crap that follows then the stubborn confused faces when I speak Spanish to them. This store has always picked the fat off and given me heaping scoops of meat, given me preferable selections, and helped me with wonderful service! Best meat market Ive found in houston

The worst experience I had today. I dont blame the butcher but the butcher who had fajitas and ribs that looked great and he went and packed me from somewhere else and gave us pure graza. This happened today I do not know the name of the Lord who attended me but so that it does not happen to others please check first before leaving the store. $ 56 thrown into the fasura. I did not return because I do not live serca but I would have gone to get my money back or give me meat that if it works.

The taquería good service but I bought pork rinds at the butcher but they had a bad taste (rancid) they should have quality control in products cooked in their facilities if this product lasts days in their facilities.

Totally disappointed, the second time this happens to me with the same butcher (Walter)once I attended and did the same I asked for ham (photos so they can appreciate what he has given me)He puts it in a way that seems to bother his work, I also do not ask him to put the ham to perfection but I think there are ways to serve better,I have ordered 3 lbs and I saw that they were almost 4, I said I just want 3 lbs please. . And I answer. . Dont worry, Im going to give him only 3 lbs. ., I came to my house and I saw that he gave me what he wanted 3,725 lbs 🤔😤What bothered me most apart from the extra amount, the way to accommodate the ham was that he gave me a piece of ham, opened the bag and showed it to him, He laughs saying that the machine does so,I turned around and he (Walter) along with the other butcher (Darwin) started laughing. .A great lack of respect for me as a client of this place that I did not deserve. .(14 minutes I have to drive because it is the closest place to my house, since some Mexican products I find there)
