I went in to buy a gift of a headset for a 13 yr old.The young man behind the counter was polite and informative.I asked for his recommendation..He took the time to explain headsets in general as well as why he recommended a particular set. I bought that set as well as the protection policy..I hope everyone that goes to GameStop has as good an experience!

Bad experience but sometimes bad experiences are the way they deal with customers. I was told one thing for my game that I pre-ordered, I called to be sure that they could try something. I drive to get my situation fixed but once i get there, they tell me theres nothing they can do. I drove all the way down there after telling me over the phone that they can help me. Not to mention during the call that an employee told me, well sir, its an open beta in 2 days... like... I paid extra to get the 2-day early access for the beta.. otherwise I wouldve just bought the standard edition. That really irritated me. In the end, they told me something else but to sum up the entire conversation, You cant get a beta code for your game, even though it says in our website that you get 2-day early access before the open beta, we cant help you about that. The way they deal with things is they tease you and then dont help whatsoever. No wonder they were on the verge of closing down. Unsatisfied with ther customer service and I know they couldve done something to help me. Tragic, shame, outrageous..

The staff at this location were very pleasant and helpful (2 young ladies). Typically, at other locations, the staff is usually some mindless, lazy Neanderthal. Not in this instance. They did a really good job of also acknowledging my 11 yr old son who was shopping with me. I appreciate that kind of service. At the end of the day, I may the one paying, but my son is the real customer.

We went in and grabbed one of the many boxes of ps4 controllers and waited in line approx 20 min (6 ahead of us). When it was our turn they immediately said they didn’t have any ps4 controllers. If they could take the time to put signs on the door saying they didn’t have ps5 consoles or Xbox consoles, why not put a sign up about ps4 controllers if you are going to keep so many boxes of them on display as if you’re fully stocked?

I have to give one star since 0 isnt an option. went in to trade in 3 controllers and said that he couldnt take them in because he couldnt find them in the system. when i made sure and checked online before coming in. my friend also wanted a headset, he went into the back room and brought up the wrong headset. we went to another store and they were able to help us get everything we needed. props to the other store stepping up for this one.

Heaven was kinda rude to my boyfriend. Saying that we couldnt look at a game controller unless we bought it first. I work at a retail store and that wouldnt have been what I would of told my customer. So I need to make sure this gets fixed. I was very upset about this.

Went to GameStop to get an external hard drive. They told me they did not carry external hard drives even though their website says they do. They suggested I go to amazon. Amazon! GameStop told me to go to amazon. No way to do business.

I love gamestop in general. This is not too crowded, and they have a lot of collectible merchandise right now. Im sure towards evenings it is more crowded, but it was very pleasant today.

More about the company itself, various stores I been to, barely have a selection of pre owned games and the xbox section was kinda light and mixed. Both the galleria and spring barely had a selection. No more last gen games from 360/PS3. Sparse accessories and electronics. Guess its Digital and Amazon for me from now on.

This is a great gamestop to to go. the manager looked u an item a shirt and pop bundle and called 2 locations for me they found a store that had it and went to pick it up for me that day and kept it for me till the next day when i was able to go get it. they have great customer service, clean store and friendly staff this this a great store to shop at

This store seemed at first a little unorganized but when you actually start looking for a game you can find what you are looking for Farley easy. The staff (at least the ones Ive met) are helpful, respectful, and quick to answer any questions you give em. Lots of games and accessories. They got it going on over there.

Im fairly cheap when it comes to gaming. I prefer not paying full price so I buy them used and trade them in. I also like that I can return a used game within 7 days for any reason. Ive had a couple that sucked so bad I was able to go trade it for a different one. You cant do that if you buy a new one.

I have become a regular at this location for their helpful and friendly experts! This location by far separates itself by a long shot in comparison to my experiences at other game stops. Experts arent condescending and take the time to help identify your purchase. They educated me on the HUGE VALUE of being an ELITE PRO member and have been once since. I go way out of my way to go to this store and as long as Mary and her staff are there it’ll stay that way. I never leave google reviews good or bad but this store is exemplary. All walks of life are welcome and treated with the same courtesy I’ve seen it for years with this same staff. TAYLOR BARON AND MARY ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST!

Never answers the phone when they finally do I get someone who has no idea how to look up my order and tell me idk we have ur package when sort through the back layer Ill let u know, even though it says it was delivered 6 days ago and I never received a notice. Even in person Ive seen them let the phone ring and hang it up without hesitation. This GameStop was great before it moved into its new location after this ordeal Im switching to a better managed one.

I have been going to this store for over 2 years now. I go out of my way and pass another GameStop closer to my home to be able to get to this location due to the AMAZING customer service! Baron is my go-to guy for all gaming questions as his product knowledge is great! The entire staff are very helpful even when they are Swamped which is about every single time I go in there. Lol. But they manage to get to everyones needs. Thanks Baron for always helping and of course Trevor as well. :-) You guys are the best!!!

I will say this once. This is probably one of the busiest gamestop in the area. It is known to have a lot of customers who sell their consoles, games, etc. Considering that, this gamestop can be very busy but the staff is great and willing to help. Great store! Went in to purchase several video games for gifts & overheard the manger telling a grown lady she had to have an ID to pay with cash to purchase a video game. His reasoning was because there has been tons of theft, etc at this specific location. I get to the register, the guy rings up my stuff, I show my ID. He looks at it for 1 second then gives it back. I asked the manager what is the point of asking if you aren’t documenting my info, etc to prevent fraud & theft. He says he doesn’t know & that he is just following the rules. Seems as if only certain people are being asked for ID’s, it’s very suspicious & makes no sense. Doesn’t make sense to have to show an ID to spend cash!!! He also said people have been using fradulanet money. I asked if he had a checker to detect fake money. He says yes, but still needs to see an ID although he isn’t documenting anything. Smh I’m taking my money elsewhere.

Ive always gone here when I want a new game and the people here are always friendly. The only issue Ive had was today. I bought a game (used), but I wasnt able to play it immediately. When I could, I wasnt able to get to the second level because it kept freezing while loading. I lost the receipt but decided to turn it in anyway and told the cashier what was up, and she charged me to get it fixed. I was charged to fix a game I never even got to play. I am very upset.

Get a phone call that my pre order is ready for pick up. Head over later in the day just to have the employee tell me the item doesn’t release till later in the year. I then told him to check in the back which he did, only to come back a minute later saying they haven’t received it. After about 5 minutes of complaining, he then walks to the back room again and mysteriously finds my item. Hmmmmm...sounds like someone was trying to hold onto my item to make a profit. Will not be returning to this location.

I finally went in to make some trades with my son and man do the tip you off. They sell games at high dollar and when you take them back in later, they arent worth nothing. Sells used Xboxes for 79.99 and only give you 11.00 for yours. Im in the wrong business of being fair to my customers.

Its my home store. Only thing that sucks is the phone rings constantly and when we answer its mainly prank callers so lots od the time the line is busy from us answering the sad prank callers lol. But I wish people would understand its:1. Just Gamestop. Not a fancy-shmancy business. People bring kids in and we cant constantly clean the store to prestine conditions and make it 100% presentable.2. Only 6 people work here and never work all on the same day so we DO get swamped and the lines can get long.3. We arent robots who run on endless energy so we cant bust our humps over everything.But when nice customers or regulars come in-it makes our day 😁

The staff will treat you like youre an idiot. Before wii came out, I went to the store and asked about the nintendo why. The guy there told me it was we and then proceeded to spell it for me double-ewe, eye, eye. What really ticks me off is that I dont see why he spelled it for me. You already told me how to say it, I obviously read the word on the internet. Like spelling it is gonna help me pronounce it correctly. Its not like the double-I dipthong appears in any word in the english language. To make it worse, the guy had a beard. Also, I think theyre on drugs because their memory sucks. I was probably 13, and went there with some friends. One of them wanted to buy crackdown, and the guy wouldnt sell it to him because he was young and because he saw him walk in their with young friends so we couldnt buy it for him either. When I tell the guy that he already sold me a copy(my mum bought it for me), I asked if he remembered me, and he answers me by boasting about gamestops popularity, We serve over 100 customers a day. Thats not what I asked, idiot. He couldve admitted that his memory isnt that good, but whatevs.
