I had pre-ordered something and it had been delayed thanks to the state of shipping & logistics currently, but when I let him know I was really hoping to have them by the upcoming weekend for a charity stream, he let me know he just got some in and instead of me waiting for shipping, he let me know I could pick it up so I would be able to use it just in time!Excellent pricing, staff, and atmosphere :D

I came here with my wife about a week ago, we arrived exactly at opening, but Im assuming the opening person was running late because it opened roughly 7 minutes late, which wasnt an issue really, but we were about to leave assuming it wasnt going to open until we saw someone unlocking the door. This store is very small compared to other hobby stores I have been to, but was very well organized. Without having been here before I was able to easily know where anything Id be looking for would be (was there for d&d miniatures). We were greeted as we walked in and despite there only being one employee on this Monday morning I saw her engaging a couple that had walked in right before us and helping them find what they needed. She demonstrated some mats that are reusable for D&D. We got what we needed and she rang us up at the register. Right before we were leaving she asked if we knew anyone who liked pokemon. My wife answered with we do and she offered us pokemon stickers. We left having enjoyed our stay at the Gaming Goat and would probably return if it wasnt so far from us. Id normally rate 4 stars for opening slightly late since we drove over an hour to get there, but Im under the impression it couldve been a rough morning. So overall Id recommend this location.

I have never been to this store nor have I spoken to the people who work there. That being said, I was able to order two very hard to find items at RETAIL COST through Google (who brought me here) rather than have to pay the scalpers cost on eBay. Both items arrived today, quickly and safely. Shipping was beyond reasonable. I could not be any happier with the level of service provided here. 10/10 will shop here again 😊

Really cool owner. Prices for Pokemon product is MSRP. Same with top loaders. More of a board game shop then TCG but still enjoyed visiting for my first time. Definitely will be back.

COME HERE BEFORE SHOPPING ONLINE!! Amazingly friendly, great atmosphere and a wonderful stock of everything! I just got back into tabletop painting and he was giving great tips and insight on every product we were looking at! Prices were incredible and there were stuff I didnt even know existed that were so cool and useful! Definitely will return soon to fill up and learn more :)

Great place and excellent prices for boardgames and other hobby games like Warhammer. Alex (the owner) is one of those people you should support in the community and has always been extremely helpful. Every hobby boardgamer should make this their go to shop or one you check out at least once in the greater Houston area.

I’ve been to all the gaming stores in the area — this is by far the superior choice. Alex offers all of his games at prices that are competitive with or even beat Amazon. Amazing coming from a brick and mortar gaming store. The service is impeccable but not overbearing. I bought a copy of Dominion yesterday but didn’t feel pressured or like I was being led on a sales pitch like most gaming stores in the area. Atmosphere is mature and not overly obnoxious. And most importantly, YOU CANT BEAT THESE PRICES. I don’t know how Alex does it but, keep it up. I’ll be returning again and again!

Nice little tabletop game store with a TON of boardgames, card games, sleeves, dice, and accessories. Alex is extremely knowledgeable and offers all of his games for 30% of MSRP. Its an awesome little hang out and there is almost always someone there willing to play a game, which Alex has available in his game library. I cant recommend the place enough, it has easily become my favorite game store!

Went in because we thought we were crazy when we went to the old location and it was called halcyon games. The owner told us he used to work at the old one but then was offered the option to franchise so here they are. They have their grand opening 5/25/19, so swing by and check out the drawings and such. They had a pretty good selection of board games and dnd minis. I was looking for xwing minis which they didnt have, unfortunately. If you dont see what you are looking for, you can always ask them to special order for you; they might be able to get it from their distributor. There were about 4-5 long tables set up for games and on the weekends they are open till midnight.
