Great donuts and kolaches, and great people. One of the only places in Texas I’ve been able to find Maple Long John bars without filling!

The kolaches here are the best in the area and the owner is super nice! I would recommend Anerican Donut over any of the other places around Rayford

We love American Donut! Their donuts, to us, are more delicious than any Shipleys around. The owners are always polite and generous with their Donut holes.

This place is amazing and SO clean. The staff are so friendly, we go at least every weekend. My kids love the Kolaches and these are the only ones they will eat. We also love watching them make the donuts too.

I rediscovered this place... The blueberry cake doughnut is really good and the bodain kolaches are really good. Their glaced doughnuts are excellent light and delicious. Definitely will be going back.

We have always gone to American Donut because they are local, service is great, and they are good, but we wont be going back. I called to place a large order with them and the employee was rude and hung up on me. Did not ask any questions, just told me that I had to come in and hung up without giving me any time to talk. Very disappointed.

The donuts are the BEST hands down! Get the Earl Campbell kolache as well!

I love this place. Ive been coming here for the last 8 years. They feel like family. Youre always greeted with a friendly Hello. Its a family business, so they sure do know how to treat you like youre a part of their family. Their Donuts, Kolaches, and Croissant sandwiches are just amazing. Really good flavor and good size portion. Definitely would recommend their Boudain Kolache. Definitely a 5 out of 5 overall.

Weve been coming here every couple weeks for a year, but well never go again due to how rude the woman that sometimes works the front is. The man working there has told us to request a box in the past because he saw us always take the donuts out of the paper wraps immediately. The paper wraps cause all the icing to peel off, which is why we dont like them. For the second time today, the woman got in a verbal argument with my wife and wrapped the donuts in paper anyways with my wife standing there actively telling her not to. Of course the icing just peeled off when we got home. Youve lost a long time customer today.

This place is a hidden gem! Their spicy boudan kolache is one of a kind. The staff is great and take pride in their Kraft. I will definitely be making this place my go to spot.

By far the best chocolate iced donuts around! Its basically a glazed donut with the best chocolate icing! No where makes them better than this place! And I am absolutely a donut connoisseur! Highly recommend!!

This is the most rude place I have ever been to. Tried to order a simple order and the female manager yelled at me because I increased my order beyond a dozen. She then yelled at her Male counterpart in front of me.AVOID THIS PLACE !

If I could leave no stars, I would. I went in there and was getting many donuts, long John, 2 Apple fritters and a kolache....so logically I asked if I could please have a box. I also dont like all the icing coming oiff my donuts smushed into those tiny bags. The woman assisting me said umm unless you get a dozen you cant get box. I told her what i was getting and she said no. I was shocked but just said ok whatever. The customer behind me said cant this last buy a box for 50 cents like your sign says? I replied that her refusing to give me a box but wanting to give me 7 bags was ridiculous. The lady at the shop continued getting donuts with attitude and nasty looks. As shes bagging all my bags into a bag she looks to the 3 guy in line....not being helped and starts telling him that I wanted a box and that they cant do it because they cant afford it. WHAT??? I think to myself....are you kidding?? I ask her why are you telling this man about me wanting a box? She replied oh Im just explaining that we can just give free boxes. I said then leave me out of It! Dont talk to him about your issue with me, I dont know him? Then a young girl appearing to be the woman and mans workings daughter tells me its ok its Ok. I say nothing but NO, its not ok to be rude and embarrass your customers and try to get other customers on your SIDE to feel better about not giving me a box. I was LIVID leaving this store. Sad thing is their kolaches and donuts are very good but that isnt all that keep customers. Being decent and nice. Just saying sorry maam I cant and leaving it at that would have been sufficient. OBVIOUSLY they have NO business or customer service training or knowledge. I WILL NOT SUPOORT a business like this so that is the last thing I expressed before I left. I wont be coming back here this is how businesses FAIL, good riddens.

Seriously the best donuts ive ever had. Their donut holes are absolutley heavanly. 100% reccomend these donuts to everyone, I love shipleys and all the other small donut shops, but these donuts just outdo them.

I pass two other donut shops to go here. Its worth the extra drive time.
