My husband and I went for ice cream last night, we arrived before closing time and the Doors were already locked, the staff was already cleaning up like if they were ready to go home. Why do they close before the closing time is my question. Another family pulled up and same thing. If the staff were truly about customer service they could of helped 2 families out before the actual closing time. Will never go here again, the staff just looked unprofessional and not very friendly. This happened on Tuesday 8/10/2021.
The ice cream tasted old and stale. might as well gone to Kroger or HEB for some fresh ice cream. When i asked how old it was, they were rude and said “it didn’t matter”
Thought about going here today, came to the review section and immediately had bad customer service without even setting foot out my door. Thats a new level of low right there. Can you imagine an owner insulting his customers online? Wow.

Worst place you can go. The staff refused to let me enter without a mask, once I came back with a mask I saw MULTIPLE people inside ordering WITHOUT A MASK! I guess if your skin tone isnt white then you must pose an increased risk. Both employees who took order were touching their face mask while prepping my order while NOT WEARING GLOVES and wanted to catch an attitude when I refused to accept my food and requested it be remade following appropriate safety standards. Im sure the owner will leave a snarky response instead of taking the time to make sure his employees are following the rules since frankly they pose the greatest risk of transmission since they serve/touch the food.Edit to the owner: Tell that to the 2 white males who were served with no mention of a mask being required. You should REALLY focus on your customer service AND following health standards for serving food since you claim to care about the health and safety of our customers and staff. Biggest joke ever! You should also proofread your replies. Unless you actually do refuse service to ANYONE wearing a maskScrew it, Ive got time today. You have ONE review complaining about masks from someone with a photo, I would love to know how you can determine a person race strictly off their name alone. You do not care about public health safety, if you did your employees would wear gloves, they would also not touch their face while making orders. Visited on Sunday, 2/28 around 5:00. Customer service was horrible. The ice cream was what you would expect from marble slab, which is why I didnt give it one star. The three or four people we dealt with all acted like we were interrupting what they were doing, one woman continuously checked her Apple Watch to read her texts, and in between tried to remember what we were ordering. Rather than submit a review, I tried to call the store and let them know directly, only to learn that one of the people we dealt with was the manager on duty. Id recommend satisfying your sweet tooth elsewhere, or being prepared to be completely frustrated by some of the worst service you could receive.
Ice cream is consistently good and lots of choices. Unlimited mix ins included! We did my daughters ice cream cake for her bday from here, lots of ways to customize and was the best weve had.
Stopped by Marble Slab on the evening of June 3 to take an out of town guest for icecream. Ive been to this location before and it was ok but not this time. The kid working was extremely rude and acted like he didnt want to be there. He had zero manners and obviously no sense of customer service. The place was dirty and unstocked so apparently the staff wasnt even interested in doing their jobs. It wasnt even busy so that could not have been the excuse for how disgusting the place was. Because of the rudeness of the kid working we walked out without ordering anything. Ill never return to this location.
Rude staff. Ignorant owner and manager. Had the vaccine and STILL won’t let people in without a mask. Crazy some people can’t understand science. Now I understand why nearly all of imperial oaks residents can’t stand them…
This company is still denying service to customers for not wearing a mask. My 4 year old started crying because they were rude and wouldn’t serve. Don’t go here if you love your freedom. #cancelmarbleslabUpdate: your policy isn’t helping anyone, in fact, masks help spread diseases so good luck with that. Also, when you cut out half the population from who you allow to be served by your stores you will only hurt yourself.
Very rude staff. Didn’t want to help us because they had 8 minutes until closing. Still requiring mask after the mask order has been lifted. We have had our vaccines for a reason!! These people clearly don’t understand science or customer service. We will NEVER come back!!
There were only two people who were kind and helpful at this location. The rest were rude and ignorant, customer service was poor. I highly recommend going to another location.
Nice place to treat the kids to ice cream
Have not been to one in years it was a pleasant treat. The only negative was that they will not let you eat in the store and the outside tables clearly had not been cleaned in a while.

Smallest scoops I have ever seen in my life ..Took my family there on Sun 2-28-21 .. employees seemed annoyed that our presence interrupted what they were doing on their phones .. went out of their way to make the smallest possible servings .. I could have fit more on a teaspoon than what we got as a double scoop .. The single scoop came in what looked like a free sample taster .. The cone they made for my daughter didnt even have enough ice cream to cover the opening of the cone .. Not worth it ! Never go there again !
Great customer service and really good ice cream! I see a lot of people complaining on here about the fact that they had to eat the cone before they eat their ice cream and honestly its just common sense. If you only get one scoop of ice cream and put it in a big dipped cone, its not going to fill up all the way. If you want your ice cream to be filled to the top just get 3 scoops, I always do that. Its just common sense guys! Anyways, I love this location. Their bathrooms are always really clean and they always greet us when we walk in the door! My family and I love to come here!

Took my granddaughter to Your business today. I didn’t have a mask on and was going to be handed a sample went the very disrespectful male said that I could not be served without a mask one. Would like to know way your business is giving samples. The experience was unacceptable for a business that I utilize all the time. Wish I could run customers away from my business.
The so called manager is actually the owner. She does whatever she wants. She marks prices wrong, and doesnt honor it. I dont feel like going into a explanation. I realize why she shrugged her shoulders, talked to me like I was beneath her, and had horrible customer service while arrogantly telling me just to call corporate because the number is on the door. I just knew she would be reprimanded, but she is the owner! Still, she represents the company and has to follow protocol. She cant break their rules and still has to have customer service no matter how high up she is. So, it may not do much but I am contacting corporate.
Had a good experience. Ice cream was great! Much better than our local “31 flavors” that only carries 7 flavors.
The hours posted say they close at 10pm. I went there at 9:15 and they were closed. Very frustrating. Lettering on the doors are incorrect as well. They need to correct this issue.

I’m Glad that they finally put this store over in this location. Extremely friendly and courteous staff, the owner is very friendly as well. The greeting that you get when you come in the door makes you feel at home. They have amazing cookies 🍪 and ice cream 🍦. If you are in the area you should stop in and try them.
I love Marble Slab the ice cream is good and have a variety of flavors and toppings to choose from but the costumer service was awful.I am usually very patient and understanding but I could tell the lady who was helping me was annoyed that I had 5 orders in total she wasnt listening I had to keep repeating myself then at check out I asked her to scan my rewards she rudely said hold on and after she took my money I asked again about scanning my rewards she said it was too late gave me my change and walked away.

The ice cream is good,but the staff should work on their customer service. There was about 6 employees,and it took them a few minutes before helping us. They got my order wrong,and when I said something they just shrugged it off;I want to give you a second chance,but if this is the service Im going to get then I will not be back.
My family and I have been coming to this Marble Slab twice a week since they opened in May. The staff is always sweet and attentive. If they do make a mistake, they are more than willing to correct it! Besides it’s a new store and most of the employees are teenagers. I’ve even witnessed a grown man be rude to a teenager in there! The teenager displayed more class than the adult did! Y’all are doing a great job! I’m just a believer in letting businesses know what do well too!!
I usually love marble slab but this time they disappointed. I got me a strawberry milk shake and it was really watery. There is a reason they give you these giant super thick straws it’s because a milk shake is suppose to be thick. This milk shake I could have drank through a coffee stir. So I took it back and they did it over and same thing so I just threw it away. My wife loved her ice cream in a waffle cup and the employees were super nice and polite so that saved them from a one star review.
Who weighs the freaking ice cream when making a cone you cheap $%#*¥&! 12 dollar freaking cone least your can do is scoop like you love your customers. Had to eat the cone before even getting to my ice cream.

The ice cream is good but we did get skipped in line with confusion with a new staff. 3rd visit and they always weigh the ice cream. Seems like you dont get much. And they didnt have napkins and ignored me when I asked for some. It was crowded and they were trying to close on everyone. Seems like everyone needs to have a new education there on business. Going to a different location next time.

Me and my wife went there tonight Ice cream was runny melting. Customer service was horrible Will not go back to this one. Employees need more training. Had ice cream there and customers that came in were having problems Employees need to slow down and listen to what the customer is saying.
Had Jonathan help me get my Ice cream cone, and after he got my ice cream on the marble slab he just disappears without a work and the person behind me in line was able to get their ice cream before me. Very poor customer service.

This is the only Marble Slab that I know of won’t put bananas as a topping in there ice cream except for banana splits. If that’s the case I will go to a different Marble Slab that’s in the area so I can get bananas as a topping for my ice cream.
Dude digging the ( expensive) ice cream did not even have gloves on . Have it all over his hands. When i got the bill, it melted the ice on the cream leaving me with just cream .

Women wouldnt let us in even though online says they are open until 10 p.m. you should really get that changed so your guest dont drive over only to be told your closed....

Terrible customer service. They let people cut in front of us and another family and then rolled their eyes when we pointed it out. Grudgingly took part of our order while the people behind us were still served out of turn. Ended up leaving with half of our order because we werent going to keep trying to get someone to help us.
