Proceed with caution on tire repairs at this store!!! I had a slow leak in a tire with less than 10,000 miles on it. Ray inspected the tire and found a nail. He plugged the tire and sent me on my way. Traveling across country two days later and the plug came out after about 200 miles. It went completely flat in 60 seconds. Thankfully the car is heavily equipped with warning equipment so I was notified immediately and was able to get off the freeway. Morale of the story-don’t trust just anyone with your safety!!!

Ray, at Tire Choice, saved the weekend for my son and I. We were from out of town, visiting the area for a football camp and had, what I thought was, a tire issue. Brought my car in early on a Saturday to Tire Choice and Ray figured out that it was a crack in my rim. Wow I am so impressed with this place! It was almost end of day and I pulled up with a nail in my tire and the gentleman there took time to take a look and let me know what needed to be done. Even though they didnt have the ability to work on my car because it needs a special lift, they helped me find somewhere that could help and even filled up my tire with air to help get me where I needed to go. So friendly and such great customer service!

Had a tire emergency on one of my mowers. I called and they got me in with no notice at all. They had me back to work in minutes! I highly recommend them!

The guys here were so kind and helpful. Went in for an oil change and tune up and ended up needing new brake pads and rotors. They brought me back and showed me exactly what was wrong and gave me a very reasonable price after getting me in and out. Will definitely be going back, cant recommend this shop more!

I just had my car worked on at tire choice auto service center by a gentleman named Ray. Im always timid going into tire stores because people try to take advantage of the situation, sell products and services that arent needed or could be fixed much cheaper. I felt Ray was very kind, transparent and to the point but most importantly, honest! He found and diagnosed the specific issue i had and fixed it at a reasonable price. At other places I feel like they dont want to put effort into problem solving and just charge me for entire replacements until the problem goes away.

Outstanding service and value in an emergency situation

Came out of my house to notice a flat tire, and conveniently enough, I was due for a set of new tires anyway. To my surprise, on a holiday these guys were open and seemed to be the only place in town that was. Called them up and they were able to get me right in and back on the road with four new tires at a reasonable price. Roger and Dan weren’t pushy about promoting a better product than what I asked for and they also let me know my brakes were nearly in need of being replaced without trying to pressure me into buying new ones from them. Your professionalism is much appreciated and hopefully I don’t need to come back for a long time, but you’ll be on the top of my list. Thanks again guys!

4/22/2021 I showed up for a vehicle inspection, and I was greeted at the desk by a very disrespectful & unprofessional bad attitude tech ( David ). He had no intention on helping me with my appointment I had scheduled a day earlier. Thankfully Ray overheard the situation and jumped right in to take over, and was able to get me in and out. I wish I could rate the employee David because he’d receive 0 stars. Thanks Ray for going above and beyond to help my situation. You are the only reason this establishment get 5 stars.

My sister recommended this location and company. I had my oil changed here for the first time. Awesome customer service and fair pricing! I will definitely take my car here for oil changes, tires, repairs ect.

Charged me $130 for an oil change. Will never return. I called multiple other shops afterwards and was quoted $65.

They saved me over $700 other places were trying to charge me over $1100 to replace a part but once I went there, the part only needed welded.

I’ve sought services several times from this place: a few oil changes, a flat tire repaired and brakes/rotors replaced. I’ve always been treated well, pricing/estimates were straightforward. But the reason I wrote this review is for two reasons: my vehicles have always been returned clean (no additional dirt from shoes like other places I’ve used) and because of the manager’s consideration for my time. Service has always been prompt and my vehicle has always been ready ahead of schedule. Pricing is competitive for the area but service far exceeds all other places in Springfield.

Oil change was great. They did just what they were supposed to without finding a ton wrong. Price was reasonable and service was quick.

Told them to rotate the directional tires and they didnt do it right. Paid another tire place 20 dollars to do it right.

Tried to make the wrong parts fit, had to take it somewhere else to get it done rightIf you dont know how to work on a 64 Chrysler, be honest and tell me

Roger took excellent care of me and my car. He was very candid about what to expect, pricing, and time frame for the fix. He came in to give frequent updates as he learned more. I anticipate taking my car here for the foreseeable future. Also, Roger likely needs a raise. He works way too hard for what he likely makes.

I called to schedule an oil change and I spoke with a very polite man and he sounded very respectful and professional. However, he quoted me an oil change to be about $70 on the basis my car likely takes full synthetic oil. I could laugh. No way the oil costs that much or that it costs that much to change it either. Just another garage trying to take advantage of a woman that doesn’t have the capability to change the oil herself because she has to kids and can’t put her own car up in jacks and get under it to drain it. But I know if I could do that myself it wouldn’t cost me $70 + labor whatever that charge is. Rip off

First of all I would like say the customer service was to the highest level that I have experienced, especially being new to the city. Starting with being greeted with a smile and the understanding of how to treat a customer with professionalism, courtesy and treating a Veteran. Thank you Joy. To have an estimate reflect the cost of the final repairs helped in the stress of the unexpected repairs of my truck. To have an estimated date for the repairs and be meet was dedication and commitment from the highly skilled mechanics. Thank you. I just wanted to share my experience with this location. I arrived there early this morning with my car on a tow truck, just after they opened. Joy was able to help me get my car in to be evaluated and fixed quickly. She even rearranged appointments with some of her regulars to make sure they didnt have to wait while my car was being fixed. She went the extra mile and called an extra mechanic too to make sure no one was left without their vehicle for longer than expected. Staff did a great job, thank you again!

Danny was able to get everything I needed done to my vehicle within my budget. I will be using this shop from now on.

FOR THE RECORD: ZERO STARS but I had to give it SOME kind of rating in order to post. I had them work on my car a few times as Monro and they were great; friendly and reasonable on prices. However, when I needed my ABS sensor and check engine light looked at, they charged me $80 JUST to look at it, then scheduled me out two weeks to fix it (which put me at a disadvantage bc I had to run to Auto Zone regularly just to make sure no other codes were appearing) I took it in when THEY asked me to bring it back in, and their ONLY mechanic with the ability to fix my issue WASN’T EVEN WORKING THAT DAY!!! I drove an hour expecting it to be fixed, and they couldn’t even be bothered to call to let me know he wouldn’t be in. So they expected me to be ok with just pushing it out another week after making arrangements to ensure I could get it done when THEY scheduled it! NO! Absolutely not! They are expensive, clearly can’t even make a schedule correctly nor do they value their customers enough to have the courtesy to call them beforehand to give them an option to reschedule. I will NEVER take my money there EVER again! NTB heard my problem and got me in that very same morning and did a fantastic job. Don’t waste your time or money on Tire Choice!!! Monro was TWICE the business this group is!!!

My experience there was awesome. They was able to get me in very quick for an oil change. While waiting for it to finish up I was inside speaking with Ms Joy and she was very nice and very pleasant. Had me smiling the whole time. I will FOR sure be back here.

Great service

Service was fast and well done but the advertisement of the price of oil was under false pretenses. They ask what kind of oil you use(as someone who usually does it myself for $27 oil and filter), I asked to use the same oil I buy. My oil is $24 for 5 quarts and I was charged $38.75 without a labor charge on my invoice. It was well done but I went in to save $9 and my own time but ended up spending double what I would have doing it myself. Just be wary on how you talk to people. Know what you want and how you’re going to be charged. It’s YOUR money. You need to know what’s being done with it.

Very helpful and if theyre not too busy Joy will talk to you a bit to pass the time while you wait. Best experience I have ever had with a repair shop. The mechanic, Jay, was knowledgeable and friendly. He took the time to explain everything to me and correct mistakes my last mechanic made. The best part was when I went to pay the bill it was $150 CHEAPER than the estimate!

Went in for tires and got a great deal. Tires were balanced and ride quiet and smooth. Was surprised that in addition to tires, oil changes, and exhaust systems, they also troubleshoot and make a lot of other repairs on vehicles. Staff at 10 W North Street, Springfield, Ohio store number 827 was very courteous and seemed quite knowledgeable. Would recommend them and will be using their services a lot more.

I had an amazing experience here Christmas week. I was visiting Springfield from out of town and after hearing a rumbling noise from my car had taken it to a muffler shop on East Main St., where they told me that I needed an entirely new muffler system. Fortunately for me they didnt have the parts to do the job. The next day I took my car to Monro where after thoroughly looking at it they said I needed no service at all! The noise from my car was nothing beyond the normal sounds of a 14 year old car. They then proceeded to inspect my car and make sure the tire pressure was correct for my 12 hour drive home. I cant think of a more positive experience Ive ever had with an an auto repair. They were warm and friendly and definitely made customer service their priority. Most of all they saved me from being ripped off to the tune of $1,500. Thank you!!!

The employees were very helpful in selecting which type of oil change I should get for my car. They wanted to make sure I did not feel pressured into purchasing a more expensive oil change than necessary and that is something I greatly appreciate from any business. In general the oil change was slightly more than what I would have paid for at my other usual facility I usually go to, but they were quick and the customer service was great. I would return.

This shop is by far the best I’ve ever been to! Joy was wonderful! She went over everything with me and called multiple shops to get me the best price on the part I needed to fix my car! Had my battery die right down the street. They got it in right away and was able to tell me it was the alternator and the battery while low on charge was fine. While I dont usually go here for major repairs (most chains charge way more than an honest privately-owned business), I do go to them for routine maintenance (oil changes) and advice. They inspected a few cars for me (for FREE) when I was shopping for a new car.Often the mechanic has waited for the manager to go back into the office, and hell offer me personal advice on how to get things repaired more cheaply. If you know what youre doing, and know how to show it, this is a great place to go.

Wow! Joy is hands down the best. Straight forward with humor, her and her techs perform at the highest quality imaginable. I came in for a 9 oclock appt for all 4 tires to be replaced. Set up my appointment online last Friday and got my conformation right away. Dropped it off at my appointment time and they called me with some recommendations concerning my car. They had everything done and ready by lunch time. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

I made an appointment to have my tires rotated and had a wonderful time waiting in the shop. The manager, Joy, was extremely pleasant to speak to. I was also informed of other issues with my vehicle, had them explained, and costs given. The entire experience was both professional and personal and I greatly appreciated all of the information I recieved. This is a fantastic shop and I will definitely be back when I get new tires!However I did need to return and have my brakes adjusted as there was likely air in the lines after having the fluid flushed. Which scared the daylight out of me! Thankfully it was corrected. I do ultimately wish Id allowed myself more time and a second opinion before green lighting some of the work performed.

The usual Monro service. Oil changed, air filter changed, tired rotated and wiper blades changed. They also checked all the liquids and filled up the windshield washer fluid. They were efficient and careful and I have no complaints.

Working out of state and had car troubles so i made a call to these guys and they were able to get me in. Brought my car in for a power steering hose leak. Eventhough the part was hard to find, they never stopped looking and did everything they could to get it done.
