CCBD did a complete custom island for us. We described what we wanted, and their design team nailed it on the first try. We had custom pull out draws for pots and pans, hidden cubbies for kids’ paper, pens, and homework, and extra deep drawers for cooking utensils. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

When we started to build our custom home, Cabinet Concepts was recommended by our builder to design and build our custom cabinetry throughout our home. We met with them several times and were thoroughly impressed by the professionalism, design expertise, and friendliness of the owners, Matt and Shelley, as well as all of the team members we met. They assisted us with choosing finishes, designing the cabinets, and choosing hardware. Building a house is complicated process with lots of choices to be made and Cabinet Concepts went the extra mile to consult with us not only on the cabinets they were providing but on other design choices as well. Our experience was nothing but positive and we would STRONGLY recommend Cabinet Concepts as your cabinet company.

All staff were very professional from conception of design, picking out hardware, and installation. My only comments are: I was disappointed when I had to vacuum out every drawer where drilling for hardware installation left sawdust. I also expected glass on cabinets to be cleaned with installation. I had to do both of these chores after installation when I really just wanted to start using my beautiful new space. We could not be happier with our custom cabinets made by Cabinet Concepts by Design. while the cost was a little more than we had budgeted by our contractor, the quality far surpassed the budget increase. After seeing their showroom and just what they have to offer, we were sold on them. We had a vision for a custom pantry in our kitchen and Jacob designed exactly what we had in mind. They kept us informed as to when the cabinets would be finished and were right on time. When it came time for the installation, it went off without a single problem. Every cabinet is level and professionally designed, built and installed.

Great experience - from design to installation and service after the sale. We used Cabinet Concepts for a kitchen and master bath remodel working through our primary contractor Rock Solid Renovations. Very pleased with the customer service and the product.

They helped design, craft and install our custom cabinets for our new home. They were able to take some of the inspiration photos I had from places like Instagram, Houzz, and a couple kitchen designers and make it come to life. We also had a natural oak stain requested for our master vanities, which were executed perfectly.Also, they were contracted through our builder, so we technically didnt see their show room until after our project was underway. They have the capability to do pretty much whatever you want from a storage and organization standpoint.Also, we did full inlay cabinets and vanities. They definitely showed their technical capability.I would highly recommend them and will definitely seek them out for any future build or renovation.

UPDATE 6-7-2021: After the original review, Cabinet Concepts got back out to the house to fix the issues. Through the GCs miscommunication, they had not been made aware of the problems. And we discovered the issues were other subcontractors fault, so they ended up fixing others mistakes. The cabinets now look beautiful!The cabinets we had custom-built, custom-designed, and installed at a lake home are beautiful. We have had a problem with installation. The cabinets have a gap between the countertop and the top of the cabinet, about an inch on one end that tapers to even on the other end of the countertops. There are ugly shims showing in the gap instead of a beautiful finish. Weve made multiple attempts, through our GC, to get Cabinet Concepts back out to make the cabinets look as good as they should. Its been about two months. If this had been remedied sooner (and its still not fixed now), my review would easily be 5 stars.

Cabinet Concepts did exceptional work on designing, building and installing our Missouri State University Hockey Club Trophy Cases at the Jordan Valley Ice Park in Springfield. I had my laundry room/mud room redesigned by Shelley, she did way beyond my expectations. The Cabinets/lockers/folding table are beautiful. They matched my existing cabinets to the point you would never know they werent put in at the same time. I recommend them to everyone.

Cabinet Concepts did a great job with all our cabinets in our new house. I get so many complements on the cabinets throughout the house. Anything that I asked them to do they did with professionalism. We even brought in 100 year old wood planks to add to the island and they incorporated it in the island making them beautiful and unique.We also brought in hand sketches of what we wanted for our bathroom cabinets and they were able to build exactly what we had envisioned. They were the easiest of all the subs to work with on our house project.Not only did they get the job done at a great price but they were early getting them finished. I was amazed at their reasonable prices. We are members at Direct Buy and Cabinet Concepts still had the better price for the whole house.I would recommend cabinet concepts to anyone needing new cabinets. Thanks Mead! You guys were great!

Although the cabinets in the kitchen and bath look nice, attention to detail and communication is seriously lacking. An estimated one week install took almost 5 weeks. Measurements were off multiple times requiring the cabinets to be retuned to the workshop. Holes were drilled in the wrong places and had to be fixed. Ultimately it was corrected but disappointed so much went wrong. This was not our first time working with a custom cabinet maker so the bar was set high that the installation process would go smoothly. We wanted the European style cabinets which we know are more challenging to install, but were told they had the experience. Throughout the process we kept being told “we haven’t done this before”. Most irritating was learning cabinets for our laundry room were still being built in week 3 when we were led to believe everything was ready on day one. The installation process had a lot of room for improvement as the mistakes impacted other vendors on our remodel. We will not be moving forward on any other projects with Cabinet Concepts.

A beautiful island just how I wanted it. In the end they did not accept responsibility for a few glitches. Attention to detail was lacking in a few areas. Id recommend them.
