I came here 3 years ago for some small sub Installs and new cab speakers and loved the experience then. I came in recently, because I make the money spend now and got a tint and 2 12s put in for an insanely agreeable price. They did an amazing job, took the time they needed to do it right the first time and it is the CLEANEST job Ive seen. Love the place, love the people cause they take the time to help you get what you need at a pretty good price. Thanks to Austin, Demarcus, and the install team!

Very clean shop with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I had my car windows tinted, they look great and it didnt take to long. Nice little waiting room. Price was reasonable, although a little higher than some in Springfield. But it included life time warranty and since they have been in business so long, I figure it is worth the few extra dollars. Overall I was very pleased with job and service.

I went into car fi a month ago looking for a good unit to run multiple amps I wanted the apple car play android car play time alignment etc and Dustin walked me thru what I needed and explained everything in great detail and today I pulled the trigger and I got it and all I can say is daaaaaayum !!!! I should’ve done it weeks ago !! The level of adjustments you can make all of its features I couldn’t be more happier those guys up there know what there doing they know there equipment!!! They don’t try to upsale and they have a little something for every budget !!! I couldn’t be happier..

Great service at a reasonable price. David and my tech were both very pleasant to work with. I arrived 30 minutes early for my appointment and they took me right in and had my stereo installed in less than an hour. Will definitely go back again.

10 STARS!! Thanks to David, the installers and everyone at Car-Fi. I just recently had them install an entire JL AUDIO system in my car and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.. It has FAR surpassed my expectations. It THUMPS SO HARD my review mirror came unglued and fell off.. They were fast, knowledgeable and professional with every step in the process.. They were also very patient with me as I changed my mind on the level($$$)of equipment I wanted several times in the week leading up to my install..I finally pulled the trigger (after reading many reviews and reading up on the difference in options) and spent the extra money to get a higher end setup than what I initially thought I wanted, and Im glad I did.. If youre looking to improve your stereo, go see these guys..Side Note: If youre looking at JL Audio as an option, spend the extra money to get at least the W3 subs.. I cant even imagine what the W6 or W7 subs sound like.. Hope this helps someone that is debating on a system, dont think just do it..

Went in looking to research options for my classic car. Counter full of guys asked what I had for a classic. 66 Corvair Corsa. Oh, that will have to be custom, well cut out the dash and mount something. No, looking for a stereo that would fit in the spot (we know they make them) and what some of the new options would be. Advice was to hang a box under the dash. No, wed rather not do that. Finally, he took us to the only choice in a retro style radio. How much is that? Oh, $300-$400 depending on how you want it. Then, pretty much silence. No, they didnt have one in stock. No, they werent interested in talking options and final prices, or really speakers either. I was in customer service, Id have pulled out every option I could order and made a sale! Gosh, wed have spent some money today, but didnt feel like they were all that interested in selling anything. No wonder people go online. :-(

They were great! They got my remote start foxed and had me in and out within 30 minutes. Definitely would recommend. They also have a pretty decent sized stock of speakers, cameras and radios. All prices very conservatively.

Hands down the worst experience I have had bought a car starter with install and they have changed the install date on it because one of their employees has no idea what he is doing. I cant make the appt that they switched it to because my wife goes back to work and I go back to work and we have 3 kids yet they do nothing to fix it please stay away from this place!

On March 5th 2019 I had a car stereo installed in my Ford F-350. This stereo was supposed to maintain a GPS while adding Apple Car Play.Day one ended up with the planned stereo not fitting and a quick alternative selected. The alternative cost me real time GPS. I accepted.Two weeks later, beCause of COVID-19, the Government locked the state down.During this time, my installed stereo would not allow me to use hands free calling, as the person I would call could not hear or understand me.After the 30 day state lock down, I was able to waste another day sitting at Car-Fi while they replaced the stereo with a similar one, switched out the microphone, all while allowing me the privilege of sitting i. 40° temps under a pop up tent outside in the rain for 5-6 hours...due to COVID.No refund apparently is the Policy, even though I was told I would have 30 days to be happy with the install. Apparently, the clock on the 30 days counted during the COVID lock down.On my third visit, this time in late May, I was told the continued problem was due to not following a certain start up sequence. I should connect my phone to Bluetooth, then connect to Apple car play with a direct plug in. As you know, this is not immediate and has me sitting in my truck for a minute going through the process each time before I drive. Forget running errands.On the 4th all day visit (I live one hour one way away), the stereo was pulled and I was told some connections had come loose in the back. I’d make a few phone calls and everything sounded great for 24 hours, then back to frustrating efforts to unplug the phone from Apple car play, disconnect the blue tooth and drive with the phone stuck to my ear in order to talk.The stereo continued to be defective. CarFi personnel continued to cost me a day long visit and very friendly and equally frustrated staff attempted to help. Nothing ever worked.On my fifth half day of sitting in a waiting room, this time in November, I was told the problem is clearly the worn out Apple phone charging cord, and I needed to avoid Bluetooth entirely. As usual, a couple phone calls sounded great, but within 24 hours, whoever I called couldn’t hear me.I spent $1350 to lose five days of my life sitting at carfi, to lose GPS and hands free calling, to almost wreck 100 times fighting to free my phone from the cables and Bluetooth connections (safer to text and drive, or read a book while driving than to go through this process) and continue to receive CarFis No Refund policy.CarFi’s lousy policy is the problem. The employees really seem to know what they are doing, but are at the mercy of lousy equipment and a poor customer service policy.I recommend d avoiding the company entirely. Use another car radio installer, Billy Bob’s back yard garage, or the high school kid who watched the YouTube video before entrapping yourself in CarFis lousy policy trap.I’m seriously considering trading my vehicle in to overcome my decision to use a company with such non friendly policies

Bought a radio and two speakers Saturday the 14th, but they said they have to order the converter or something so everything should be good to be installed in two business days and they would call me. They told me I had to go ahead and prepay for everything including the installation. Called them Tuesday when I didn’t get a call and they said the part wasn’t going to be in until Wednesday or Thursday. Called Thursday and they said they got one part in but weren’t supposed to get the other part they ordered until late Thursday, early Friday. Called Friday to see if they had all the parts and they said they did but they couldn’t get me in that Friday or Saturday. Call today, Monday the 23rd, and asked if they had the time to install a radio and two speakers and they said no but once they learned who I was, the one that has kept calling them, they said they could get me in at 3 today. I have been extremely nice through this whole process and have tried to be understanding but I got into my car after the installation and the rectangle piece around the radio pops right out if you barely hit it, and I have another speaker that I guess is blown that no one cared to tell me about. Through the whole process, they never called me to update me on the progress of my order or to tell me when I would be able to get everything installed. I definitely will not be going back to Car-Fi and have never been treated that way by a business before.

Great place! They are super fast and always willing to work with you on just about everything. I couldnt find anywhere that wasnt trying to rob my wallet to get my truck neons done. So I took it to them and they did it in just about an hour and they charged me only a quarter of what others were asking. I also got some subs installed by them and they did amazing.

My husband and I both have pretty old vehicles and both had the original car stereos still installed. Needless to say mine stopped working properly and his didnt even have a CD player it was so low tech. A friend of ours had a new car stereo put in her car and told us Car-Fi was really great. We stopped in on a Saturday to price things out and ended up buying new systems for both our vehicles. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they knew EVERYTHING about the products they were selling. They were very patient with our questions. We had mine installed right then and my husband went back a few days later with his vehicle and had his installed. The staff even takes the time to show you all the features of your new system once it is installed and answers your questions. I was very impressed with the one on one attention we received. It was obvious the employees were happy at their jobs and actually liked working with the customers and products. Our new systems are working flawlessly and we couldnt be happier. Dont go anywhere else! These guys the the best!

I had a sub and amp installed here. I wouldnt go back. The amp stayed on 24/7, that seems to me like a basic install 101 mistake and honestly worries me that since they cant do the simplest install that I can trust them with a more advanced install. Seems like every different salesman there has a different story about whatever youre inquiring about. I have been in multiple times to find out what to do about my sub not putting out the bass it should. Long story short they wanted me to spend close to $1000 for a new stereo and install, after researching all I needed was a small device for $70. I went to another business and they made my system sound day and night difference for free, with no parts bought yet. This was after visiting them one time they knew what was wrong and what to do to make it better for the time being. They even were straight up about not installing a stereo. I wouldnt trust them, after I researched what I needed they then said yeah, you could do that, but I had to follow them into another room away from other customers to talk about it. This place just wants to nickel and dime ya, dont trust them to tell you what you need. If youre going to use the services here do research so you dont get handled by them and overpay.

Staff was very helpful. Needed some long speaker wire for my Custom AutoSound system for my restoration project. They were helpful in getting me the right cable. They even threw in some connectors. Had auto start installed 2 weeks ago and called today because it is not working properly. It only runs a few minutes, some days it just makes a clicking noise like a dead battery(the battery is good had checked) and it also is starting on its own even when doors are open and car is unlocked. Called to see about them looking at it and got we are to busy and I’d have to bring in during the week when they have availability and when I stated I live 45 min away and work during week they said they don’t know when they have time. Also the guy treated me like I was an idiot and making it all up.. I would not recommend or ever use them again and we have used them in previous years but our guy we always went to is no longer there and maybe this is why.

Had a dmx Kenwood stereo installed in my 04 Tahoe with bose, I am very happy with job done, it looks great sounds good, they were able to keep my oem steering wheel controls working, so far no issues with the install,the guys who helped me were very friendly. will definitely come back to upgrade the rest of my sound system.

Customer service is beyond pathetic and very unprofessional. Definitely do not recommend. Take your business elsewhere!We were referred to Car-Fi by Toyota to get auto start put into our new vehicle. When we came in to check out their products, they had three sales guys at the front. One was helping out a customer and the other two were just standing around. After a couple minutes of awkward standing, a salesperson came to speak to us. We told him we wanted to get our front windows tinted and the auto start. My husband specifically told him we didnt want anything over 20% tint and he acknowledged this. After choosing our desired tint and autostart, he gave us a quote and we worked on getting it scheduled. The first available date was over a week out and we would have to pay the full price to get it scheduled per their policy. We decided that we didnt want to pay full price for service that wouldnt get done until over a week later and that we would keep searching around town. My husband and I left and decided to go to creative audio (regretfully, we should have stayed with them. Weve done business with them before and have no complaints); however, they were booked out til the middle-end of Jan. After we had left creative audio, we got a call from Car-Fi letting us know that he can schedule it on Monday (9 days from that day) and that we wouldnt have to make a payment. We decided to go with it.. Well, we had to reschedule it again and they worked with us. Anyway, we took our vehicle in right when they open; we signed some papers and even initialed paperwork that we understood they were applying tint that was over MO legal limits. We got a call a couple hours after the drop off; and we were eager to get our vehicle back, because we had a long drive to Wichita that afternoon. Before we headed into the shop, we checked our vehicle out and lo and behold our tint was not what we had asked for- they applied the legal limit tint. When we walked in, we were approached by a salesperson and told him what was going on. Another salesperson started to argue with us, telling us that its what we wanted because if they went any darker with the tint it would not look right. I tried to tell him we asked for 20%, and again, he tried to explain that they tried to match it, and 35% was the closer match.. Ive had darker tint applied to my previous vehicle.. Im pretty sure I didnt want 35%..... I was very upset. The salesperson that was helping us got the service guy that did the job. Again, he tried to explain it us, and argue with us that that would look better. Totally disregarding that it was NOT what we asked for a couple weeks ago when we first came in.. So, the service guy tells us that theres nothing they can do about it today because they are backed up and we needed it done before noon to avoid the weather on our drive. So, my husband tells them to take it off because we are not paying for it. We will only pay for the autostart. Service guy looked shocked, and he magically had an opening to take the tint and reapply what we asked for. We left, and came back a couple of hours later. The inconvenience and the timing was just perfect. When we came back, the 20% tint that we had initially asked for applied and did not look darker than the back windows. After leaving we decided to stop to fill both gas tanks up... my gas tank had a button that you push under the steering wheel that will open up the tank door, and it did not work. We called them to let them know and he asked us to bring it in but my husband told him we couldnt, it would have to be on Monday because we had to leave. The guy had the nerve to ask us how are we going to drive if we cant open our gas tank... are you kidding me?! How unprofessional! My husband informed him that we had two separate vehicles and we will be leaving the one they worked on at home, in the garage. Monday comes around and we bring in it. Guy looked at my husband and asked him how was it their fault, they didnt work on it. Finally, service guy checked it out and fixed it.

We came to carfi to buy our son something for his birthday. He thought they would have what he was looking for. The salesman asked if he could help him and our son (19) explained what he was looking for. The guy didnt even look at him. Then the salesman started correcting what he was telling him. Talking over our boy. He looked in a product case, said nope dont have it! Never looked at him or tried to recommend anything. Mr. Sales guy was done. While standing there waiting (son) got shoulder checked by another sales guy who had his lunch and was obviously in too big of a hurry to have manners. Terrible customer service! Never ever will we go back there.

A few months ago I bought my son for his 16th birthday a subroofer which was way overpriced. This weekend went back to the store to see why his system was not working. They had no desire to even look at it and said it would cost $45 to set up an appointment and three weeks to even have it checked. Not happy with the service, I went over to CREATIVE. The sales rep there went outside to look to see what the problem was and fixed it in two minutes for FREE!!! I would highly recommend anyone to go to Creative!!

The demographic drops off until wandering, newly divorced, mid-life crisis males, wander back in, looking for new gadgets to fill relationship gaps. I made an appointment a month in advance for the protective paint coating to be applied to my Toyota Sienna. We live 2 hours away from Springfield and was told they needed my car overnight, so I made arrangement for a hotel room and rental car. I received a call from aundre 3 days before I was supposed to come and was told they couldn’t perform the work on that day due to their oversight that the technician is on vacation. I was so confused that they were turning away my business which would’ve been in excess of 600$ because they made a mistake. I was offered no other options, and told that it wasn’t their problem that I had a hotel room and rental car already booked for those days. I have never been turned away as a customer before and don’t get why the manager had only rude comments for me, about how it went his problem! Taking my $$ elsewhere!

I rate them with 0 stars!!!! Worst service I’ve ever encountered in my life!!! They charged me for more labor after I already paid! I’ve been going to car fi for 6 years now, and I send everyone I know there for service, but now I’m not! I send everyone to creative car audio on sunshine street, much nicer staff and they don’t charge you for stuff you didn’t agree too without your permission. Please do not get your stero done here!!! Save your money and spend it anywhere but here!! They purposely rig up your radio so you have to come back in a couple of weeks and pay more to get it fixed. Don’t waste your time here! I’ve only ever heard bad reviews about them and now I finally understand. Creative car audio is the way to go I guarantee it!!!

Specifically bought 2 rockford p3 12s in a box after blowing them 3 times and Just assuming too much power each time I just renewed the warranty on them. After smoking one for a fourth time I opened the box to find the wires taped together and also a wire completely missing. Unacceptable.

Well I went in there and everybody looked at me like they didnt want to help me out. A gentleman came out to my car and peered into my trunk and suggested that I pay several hundred dollars for a 30-minute wiring job. He then sold me some equipment that was not up to par with what I needed. Staff was unfriendly and made me feel uncomfortable. Wont be going back.

They’re prices are outrages and when they installed remote start and keyless entry in my car they said 3 hours is what it would take. Then when they started they said it would cost 50 dollars extra because they had to remove an old system that was already installed. They charged me for extra labor even though it took an hour less then what they initially said. Then that same day my car wouldn’t start with remote start nor the key so they messed up my car completely then try to say it was already like that. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!

I have nothing but good things to say about car fi. I bought a stereo head unit, 4 speakers,a amplifier,and a subwoofer and they installed it professionally. It looks good, and it sounds great. I think they did a great job

Well folks I had some problems with Car Fi and I figured heck with them Ill go somewhere else.Stereo quit working still under warranty so called them and this time they really wanted to make things right and they did too.If you shop here and buy product from them if you have any trouble with the product dont call just go back theyll work with you on resolving the problem.Thank You

SCAMMERS! I went to buy an inline converter and he held me a model for $100. I specifically asked if he has a model for $50 (was looking for a specific model)... he said he didnt have any. So i bought the $100 model, took it back to my Amp and low and behold. It wouldnt work. So i took it back to car fi to get a refund and the EXACT model i needed was magically available O.o i talked to the same guy (Lee Allen. Dont NOT let him assist you. He WILL rip you off and he has no idea what hes talking about) when this part magically showed up. Plus on top of that he charged me $56 dollars for it without even discussing the price with me. Just handed me the product without telling me the cost. I found this part on Amazon for $20 (a third of the cost) and had he discussed the price with me like he is legally obligated to i might have gone to Amazon or asked to price match. But no, LEE ALLEN at Car Fi will STEAL YOUR MONEY. I wish i could say that this was the first time i could say carfi tried stealing my money. But no, its everytime ive ever gone.

I called on 1/15/19 to get a price on a installin for a high end camera set up with 4 cameras with a HARD-DRIVE or DVR, I said money was not a prob, I live n Ark to boot, I was told I would get a call back the same day, now as of 1/25/19 nothin, go to another electronic store, STAY AWAY FROM THESE PPL!!!!!! I had a stereo I needed installed and Jared is who took care of me and got me in the same day, I dont have many days I can work around and Jared was able to accommodate the same day and had my system in a few hours.
