Have had several systems put in and they always are excellent. Real good about answering questions and problem solving. The have a wide range of products as well.

Carmil car audio is a good choice for your audio needs! Had them install some door speakers on my truck 6.5 and had the crossover tweets. They also checked out 2 of my amps for me I was using on my other car, I thought the amps were done. But nope they were working. So I brought by my other car a few weeks later and he gave me some advice on checking out my remote wire, turned out it was bad and he gave me a free wire! So I got my other car sounding good again. I highly recommend these guys, they attend to you fast, offer advice and do great work. Good shop here!

This store is AMAZING. After have multiple audio places told me I had to make an appointment to get a simple switch out, but Wes at Carmil actually came out looked it over and fixed it there on the spot. Went way above to deliver a customer service that I haven’t found anywhere else!

(Basing this review off of one phone call) Before calling Carmil I called another place with questions about my specific needs. They seemed to be irritated beginning with “hello” and continued to have an irritated tone throughout the phone call... didn’t really get my questions answered by them. I called Carmil and I received the complete opposite customer service. Whoever I spoke with took the time to hear me out, without interrupting, and adjusted his questions according to my needs. Helped me out 10x more than the previous place. I will be in later this week for further consultation with them. The difference customer service makes is just insane! Keep it up!

Came here a couple weeks ago and got new door speakers and Amp plus installed. I was charged $1000 for everything. It took over 8 hours to complete and they didnt even hook the speakers up good and now the speakers keep cutting off

I went there with a relatively minor request and was really impressed with the work they did. I tend to look for other things besides price, which was fair. I like to see if the employees are professional, care about treating the customer right and doing an excellent job. I also observed them giving another customer straight information instead of trying to upsell them. I do know if I ever need work done on my vehicles again, this is the place. Great job.

I bought a used denali and it had a bunch of led lights and a old alarm. but the stock alarm still worked fine. So they took out all the old stuff and put in a new stereo. They were clean and had it all done in a couple hours. And totally willing to fix any problems with anything down the road. They stand by their work and I highly recommend.

This is a wonderful shop great people to work with very knowledgeable and understanding . Knowing what you want. would never recommend going anywhere other than here. Took in my van to another shop had installed a TV system installed and they completely had it messed up . Brought it here and these guys had me in and out in under a week and didn’t overcharge. Gone back several times for other things they know me by name never try to upsell just to make a sale can’t express how happy I am with this audio shop. Absolutely wonderful both Carmil and Wes!!!!!

I went in a couple weeks ago with a new (used) truck. While swamped carmil came out and told me how to check if my dead radio worked. He knew it was a fuse issue and I found it eventually. Saved me 200 easy just doing that. Went back, Wes hooked me up with a silverado extended custom box and 2 memphis 12s, and they fixed all my other wire issues that I mentioned. We have a lot of vehicles in our family and Ill be bringing every one to these guys. Ive gone to other business and you cant beat these guys.

I absolutely recommend Carmiles. I had two Remote Starts installed in my two vehicles and had to drive 75 miles each way twice. It was totally worth it and they were very professional and kind. I also had some custom work done on both vehicles. Very impressed and well worth the drive.

Stopped by because I had some concerns about my car alarm not going off and the gentleman I spoke to at the front desk was kind courteous and very professional he explained a few things to me and took the time out to inspect and turn the sensitivity up on the alarm and explained how to better protect the vehicle which I found very informative...he also answered all the questions I had about custom enclosures and showed me some pics of some amazing builds he fabricated and I was really impressed to the point that my custom enclosure will be built by Carmil..customer service deserves 6* thank you guys

Carmil Car Audio is the only place to do aftermarket stereo installs in southwest Mo. Carmil and his crew treat you more like family than customer and they treat your car as if it was their own. Not only do they have great products, they’re very knowledgeable on different cars as well. They care more about your overall satisfaction than a quick sale. Not only did Carmil put a damn nice sub and amp in my 2015 Corvette he also had one of his guys dial in a system that I bought from him 10 years ago in one of my other vehicles.

The worst Customer service ever, I had 550 dollars worth of services done on my car. From the beginning the owner ignored me and act like I was not worth his time. He push me over to one of other people working there. For a person paying much less than I did, but was a professionally dressed white man, my husband is black and dressed casual. We did not like what they did to our car, but they had no regard for us. I would never do business with this company again, and would not recommend any else to.

Took mom’s new economy car to Carmil to reduce the loud road noise heard inside the car. Carmil installed sound dampening material across the entire floor & firewall, & inside all 4 doors. The tinny ‘tink’ from closing the doors has been replaced by the ‘thunk’ that’s normal when closing doors on luxury cars....and the road noise in the car is nearly half of what it was. “Superb job! He hit it outta the park!”We’ll definitely visit Carmil again for other car mod needs.

This is a great audio store.. I was in the process of installing a amp and subwoofer in my little brothers car an I was having problems.. Not what to do or where to turn and went to searching.. came across carmil car audio and went by there. They checked my amp and subwoofer and all my wiring just to help out good looking for good service and good audiosound I recommend this place to anyone

The guys here are awesome, the first time I came I just wanted them to hook up a couple subs to the amp I already had and tune it and they offered to do it for free! But it turned out the amp didnt work and there was some other problems they told me about. And then the second time here I brought back the 2 subs and a new amp, and they hooked it all up and tuned for the cheapest price in town. And by the way it sounds great!

I cant say enough about the level of service Carmil provides. He knows his stuff and goes out of his way to take care of his customers before, during and after. I tell everyone that asks about an installation to see Carmil and you certainly have a customer for life!

Cool place, friendly staff... they managed to squeeze me in their busy schedule...

After doing some initial research and some shopping around, I found and purchased multimedia unit from one of the larger car audio dealers here in town. This particular dealer ended up selling me installation harnesses that did not work with my car. This was Day 1. ***While I would absolutely LOVE to publically smear the names of the perpetrators, Im a gentleman and would like to give them the benefit of doubt.***On Day 2, I returned the incorrect parts and went another larger car audio supplier to get what the first business described to be the correct parts for my car. When I got home, the install was going smooth until I hooked up my unit and found that I had no sound.On Day 3, I went back to the second business to try to troubleshoot as to why I had no sound after following all the provided directions. The second business blamed the lack of audio on the first business that had sold me on a unit that was not compatible with my car. They suggested that I return the unit and purchase a unit that was $200 more than the unit on hand.By the time I returned to the first business, I was obviously furious. They went on to tell me that the second business was didnt know what they were talking about and that he would take care of me and order a part that would take over a week to get here. He essentially told me that I would need to wait a week with no radio, no hands-free calling, and a big hole in the dash of my car.I left feeling absolutely defeated and frankly, taken advantage of. I was stuck in the middle between two debating groups, both of which I thought were competent and trustworthy. I began to search Google to find ANYONE that carried this magical part that I needed so desperately. Luckily, I found Carmil Car Audio.When I called Carmil, I spoke with Carmil himself. Rather than simply talking me through it and ordering the part over the phone, he requested that I come in so that he could actually take the time to look at the set up and identify the issue. Although I was hesitant to give someone another opportunity to burn me, I complied and dropped by.When I got there, the staff asked if I could wait around for Carmil to wrap up another project he was working on. After about ten minutes, Carmil came from the back and followed me out to the car. He took about 30 seconds to look at the set up and then proceeded back to his store. He came back seconds later with a single wire and wire cutters. Within seconds, my system which was not compatible and the wiring harness that wasnt intended was working in perfect harmony. Almost in tears of joy, I asked Carmil, Is THAT it?? to which he replies, Thats it! I mean, I could have sold you a $200 part that you dont really need but thats not how I run my business. Despite multiple attempts to pay for his service, Carmil absolutely refused.So what did Carmil do that the rest of them just couldnt do? He took my problem and made it his own. It was very apparent that his interest was in satisfying the needs of a customer over meeting some sales quota.Now, its Day 4. Thanks to Carmils handy work, the install was as smooth as could be. There was one connection left that I just didnt feel comfortable with completing. I dropped by Carmil at 1 pm to ask for their assistance in helping me put this all behind me. The gent working the front asked if I could come back at 2:30 so that they could knock it out. The techs not only installed the final connection but they also wired up the microphone that I had set aside to finish later. All in all, in two days, I spent a whole $20 at Carmil and they probably did the more work than both of the other companies combined.My biggest regret from this whole process was that I didnt just start with Carmil Car Audio in the first place. Wes, the technicians, and the rest of the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Carmil is an absolute wizard and obviously runs his business with absolute integrity. I will be a customer for life and will tell anyone I know to start with Carmil!

Had a head unit and subs done here. I have had trouble with my subs since they put them in my car. Didn’t get my panels put back in. The panels were just thrown in my trunk and now missing my plastic snap ins. Missing screws that kept the radio in place and now 3months later found out from carfi that they wired my radio head unit wrong and it burnt up my sub 2 out put wire. No wonder my subs were not working right..
