Horrible service been there twice this week. I live in manassas and when I bought the car I bought also a couple services they offer one of them was the oil change well I went there Saturday and before I left the house I saw they close at 4 I got stuck in a little bit of traffic but I was able to make it there 30 minutes before 4 an hr and a half drive just for them to tell me they were already close and so I said ok no worries I’ll come back Tuesday my day off work just to get there and they tell me that there’s a 2 and a half hr wait wth for an oil change there’s also nobody else there I’m the only customer they had at the moment I don’t understand why they would up more than $1k and they won’t even do the oil change for me

Worst experience I’ve ever received getting an oil change. After two hours I walked around to go check and see if my car has been serviced and I can see it’s just sitting over in the corner all by itself. It has the alignment checked and that’s it.I get told I need to speak to a service agent and after finally getting him I get asked when did I check in and I said about 1:45-2 o’clock when I drove in.He asked where did I go? I said to the waiting room.Continues to blame me and saying I needed to check in With an agent.Two guys came up to me and took my keys and car and gave me a claim stub, but go ahead keep blaming me.Checked my car’s alignment at 2:06PM, But somehow my car is not in the system to get an oil change or on the list.Worst service ever.

I took my car in for a 20k service, and these people told me that they rotated my tires. As a former tire tech, I always mark my tires to make sure Im not getting ripped off. What do these people do? They didnt rotate a single tire, but they gave me an invoice stating they did. They did the same thing on the 10k service. I only came back because the 10k & 20k services came with the car when I bought it. Go to the VW dealer in Alexandria for the other services yall, because Im not even sure they changed my oil.

Brought in my 911, although its a VW dealer, for an alignment and must say the tech at this dealership did a phenomenal job and payed excellent attention to detail in terms of getting all critical camber and toe adjustments relative to one another. Car is aligned just as perfect from Porsche. Really hard to find skilled auto techs whom take pride in doing good work. The tech here is one of them.

Using the VW website helped me to know the features I was looking for in the vehicle and then locating the dealership that had the inventory I was looking for. Service team is always pleasant and helpful. We have a 19 Jetta with 80k miles so definitely in the shop for regular maintenance frequently. They offer a shuttle service to take you home after you drop off your car.

My husband and I went in today ready to purchase an Atlas and we came out disappointed. Customer service was awful. The receptionist did not welcome us at all nor did a salesman. We did our on tour of the car to give someone an opportunity to walk up to us and nothing. What is the point of commission if they are not even doing their job. Oh by the way the receptionist was on her phone talking with her AirPods on. Don’t waste your time here!

Never had more trouble in my life giving my money to a car dealership. I had a car that I was ready to purchase but the dealership was extremely small minded and refused my business. Im a veteran returning from the middle east. My parents have power of attorney and I was using them to sign my documents for me as I need a vehicle immediately upon my return. The dealership saw this as a headache and preferred an easier sell and decided to refuse my business. I was dealing with Vick the used cars manager and I believe he is extremely lazy and lied to me on a couple fronts. I would avoid the dealership at all costs based upon there lack of care or effort they put in for their customers.

Id like to take a moment to thank Erin Anderson for coordinating the repair of my car and working with me while I got the rest of my car keys (needed to complete the repair)- never fun when a car breaks away from home!This dealer did great work on my car and kept me updated the whole time, very happy with everything- and provided me a very clean loaner car in the midst of the pandemic. The overall experience at this establishment was fast and very professional. I had a very horrible experience at the Hagerstown Sheehy Volkswagon. I took my VW under warranty for Check up of infotainment system and thy charge me $160 for Diagnosis. The car was under warranty there should not be charge for diagnosis all they did was some new software load. This highway theft. Be vary not going there again. bad service

I bought a 2018 certified used Passat from this dealership. Samim Amirabadi & Kelly Ghabour provided excellent service and made me very happy about my decision in purchasing from Sheehy. About 3 days later my brakes started squeaking, of course I took it back and they told me they could not duplicate the noise, well they were squeaking when I drove it home. Two weeks later because the noise progressively had gotten worse. This time they told me after two days it was the rear rotors. Well today is 06/10/21 and the issue is still going on. I will say this....my 1 start review is strictly for the SERVICE department. I purchased the VIP package and trust me it is a complete waste of money! I have talked to multiple people in SERVICE department and have gotten horrible customer service from all of them. Robbie the Manager is rude and arrogant. Leon, Terri and even the appointment coordinators have been nothing short of rude., but most importantly they are not honest and they suck at their jobs. I will never be buying anything from SHEEHY ever again.

Do not go to Ray Viates for a service advisor, ripped me off and did a totally different service for my vehicle. Made me buy parts that was not needed and was very hard to communicate with. Very bad experience

To begin Marcos(Mechanic) was amazing to help me and save me last minutes. To begin about this dealership Khashi, Samim, and AJ were the nicest sales and finance associates that made the process of buying a new car smoother than the ride of the car itself. Amazing job. They all need a raise to be honest. To top it all off, Leon was one of the most understanding service advisors when it came to my car’s CPO issue and helped so much. And finally, Marcos, probably the best mechanic I’ve ever seen to exist. The shop was closed but I have an hour drive from my house, and I had oil issues plus a check engine light error thatneeded to be cleared. He took the time to go out of his way to help me clear the code and get everything fixed. Marcos needs a raise and a bonus just because how nice he is and how amazing he is to even deny something in return when I insisted and asked him to. He is just incredible and he was smiling even though it was not something he was supposed to do, but he decided to help. I appreciate him so much because he saved me.

Great purchasing experience!! My sales consultant was Sami who is absolutely amazing to deal with. He understood my time constraint and got me a great price on my new Atlas with a fair trade-in value for my Honda. I was in and out of the dealership in no time. I had one of best car-buying experiences with Aras Barlas at Sheehy VW Springfield. Aras was honest with us through the entire process, worked with us fairly and within our budget without trying to overextend our dollars while still meeting our car needs, and made the transaction seamless. I first worked with him online via email—in the past when I’ve dealt with email discussions regarding car buying, I’ve felt misled by the time I walked into the dealership. That was certainly not the case with this experience. The information Aras provided via email was exactly what we received when we walked in the door. Additionally, Aras was extremely patient with us as we had our two-year-old son at the dealership during the transaction. He got us in and out quickly and without and problems. We would definitely work with him again and Sheehy again.

This review is for the Service Center, which is hit or miss. Lately, I’d say the latter. After today’s visit, I will never return. They are not to be trusted!

Erin is the best. Great customer service and she is friendly and listens. This is the first service center that you dont stay all day. I was in an out in a reasonable time.

I have a VIP Contract and every time that I take my car for an oil change after setting up an appointment, they never have my oil filter. This time, while preparing for a trip, the day after my last oil change, I found the battery connector in terrible condition. Only needed one cup of water and a brush to clean. They told me that they were going to check and and service the car. Never done.

Spoke with Samim via email late Saturday afternoon who confirmed the vehicle I wanted was available and set me an appt for Sunday at 12 when they opened. Got there at 12:05 and nobody could find my appt. Also told that Samim wasn’t there and off for the day. The guys there asked what vehicle I was there for and when I advised the vehicle, “oh that sold but let me show you our other vehicles”. This would have been nice to know seeing as though I drove an hr there for that vehicle in particular and no others on the lot had the black rim combo I was looking for. Wasted 2 hrs and gas for absolutely no reason! Horrible and will never patronize this location no matter what

Absolutely atrocious astronomically painful to salesmen that me and my wife talked to were not there then third that we finally got to help us was so nonchalant about it couldnt even be bothered to get up from his desk barely long enough to put a dealer tag into the two vehicles that we test drove one of which was so badly damaged that we looked at each other and were disgusted that they wanted $18,000 + $1,200 in dealer fees plus all their garbage extra fees do not buy a vehicle from them go somewhere else one save your money and then the head honcho comes out there as Im trying to take pictures of the busted up vehicle screaming at me forget about it I had a check 4 / $34,000 ready to go waste of time

Although the service seems to be done quickly, there is something fishy going on with the inspection reports. They are supposed to make a 30 point inspection to your vehicle whenever you are servicing and print it out at the end, same time with your invoice. However that never happened.Last time I asked specifically for it and they printed a blank one with no check marks on it, so I have literally no idea what state my car is in. Is there anything wrong with the coolant, with the tires, brake pads? Or did they even perform the inspection in the first place? Something seems shady about that.

I am so thankful for all of the help that Sami gave to me. He was always available, answered all of our questions and made sure that we got the perfect fit. I never felt rushed or pushed. We will definitely work with him in the future.

Today I went to look at a GLI here and I was introduced to David Woelk and he was happy to take me on a test drive. Needless to say, I walked out with that same car I test drove. David wasnt pushy at all, (which I have never found while shopping for cars). He let me take my time and run numbers while doing research and never became impatient. This made it much easier to make a big decision like this and I made certain I wasnt a lay down. He made sure that I was well taken care of through the whole process and he was there every step of the way. I probably asked him a thousand questions and he was quick to respond and showed me he was extremely knowledgeable. Long story short, if you come here to buy a car, ask for David because he is the type of person that understands getting a car is not easy and it takes time. I have always taken my VWs to Sheehy for service, and this is the first time I picked up a car from them and I will be definitely going back. I write this review not only because of customer service, but because they truly did give me a great deal and I left feeling like we came to an agreement that both partys truly benefited from. Buying a car is a tricky and exhausting process but sometimes you just know when it is the right deal (rarely). Overall, I recommend Sheehy over the other VW dealers in this area, they are all squared away and actually put effort into making sure everyone is happy. I know this from visiting other VW dealers multiple times and Sheehy takes number one in my book.

After purchasing a used car from Sheehy, there was a repair issue. The service department went out of their way to cover the repair even though VW USA was saying it was wear and tear. I recently bought a 2017 VW Tiguan from Scott at the Sheehy VW in Springfield. He is a great salesman! He made himself available both times I went in and he was efficient. I didnt spend unnecessary time at the dealership waiting around. He answered all of my questions knowledgeably about the different trim levels so that I could find the exact car I was looking for. He wasnt overbearing at all - I went to him a few months ago looking at VWs but wasnt sure if I was ready to make the purchase. He didnt call or email me like most sales agents do - which I appreciated! The worst part about going to dealerships is getting the 20 phone calls in the following weeks.I highly recommend Scott OBrien at Sheehy VW in Springfield and they have amazing deals going on right now!

Only a month has gone by and already regret purchasing a used car from them. I should have gone with my gut feeling and walked away when the check engine light came on during the test drive. But the sales person reassured me that service merely forgot to reset the sensor. Since then, the check engine light has turned on twice. The first time it was the ignition coil which was, thank god, under warranty. The check engine light is on again now and made an appointment once more for service. On top of this I called last week stating that I haven’t received the tags from MVA and they said to call back next week since the temporary tags don’t expire until then. I called back Thursday. They told me they would overnight updated temporary tags on Saturday. Didn’t show. Tags expire Sunday.... called them to complain and was put to voicemail. Haven’t called back.

Service department is always great. I feel like a VIP when I come to this store. They have a comfortable lounge and clean service area.Sometimes coupons are available, but if not be sure to ask for a discount.

I purchased a 2013 Jetta Wagon this past April. Aras Barlas was my salesperson and did a fantastic job. No pressure. He patiently answered my (many, many) questions. Im from out of town and had communicated with him in the days prior to my travelling to Northern Virginia. He was responsive and went out of his way to send extra photos and information when asked. Unfortunately, my local VW dealership is not used to dealing with certified pre-owned VWs and has been less than helpful when dealing with a couple of warranty items which needed to be addressed. I ended up calling Sheehy and speaking to Aras. He was able to mail me the part I needed and assured me VW Sheehy would take care of any expense incurred related to installation of the part. I was not charged for the part whereas my local dealership was trying to charge me almost $200 for a missing part because since the part wasnt on the vehicle they couldnt determine the mechanism of damage. How about there was not damage and it just wasnt there in the first place??? Sheehy didnt even question WHY the part was missing. They simply took action to solve the problem. I have sent multiple friends to them since my purchase and I will travel the distance to buy from them again in the future.

I bought my 2009 Volkswagen Beetle from Springfield Volkswagen. The buying experience was fantastic. At the time they gave me a better rate for my car loan then my credit union could give me. They gave me a great value for my trade-in vehicle. And a great price on my new Volkswagen Beetle. I continued to bring my car in for service for the past 10 years. For the most part I’ve had good experience with all my service visits since the time I bought my car in 2009. Unfortunately over this last year I’ve had nothing but issues with the service I received on my car from Sheehy Volkswagen. It seems that almost every time I brought my Beetle in for service after I picked it up and got home I found yet another problem with my car. For a very routine visit for an inspection on my vehicle and an oil change they damage the rockers on my Beetle. They didn’t want to admit that they caused the damage but they knew they had caused the damage as they took the car and had it repaired. Of course when I picked up the car from the repair the paint job wasn’t done correctly so we had to send it back. And at the time they told me that I had a brake light that was out so they repaired the brake light for free. Then, after picking up my car, I realized that the other back light was collecting water inside the light. Which wasn’t happening prior to them replacing the burnt out light on the other side. I brought it back they ordered a new light fixture and they put it in Saying it was a “goodwill” repair. Of course when I pick up the car after they installed the light the rubber that goes around the light was not surrounding the light properly. When I brought it to the service managers attention he had 1 million excuses on why the light went in this way and the rubber that totally around the light. He also informed me that they wouldn’t guarantee or warranty this repair since it was a goodwill repair. I have to say that that seems off to me that they can’t stand by their workmanship whether it’s Goodwill or whether I paid for it. I have been bringing my car for service for the past 10 years I’ve owned my car only to that Volkswagen dealer. Obviously my bill has always been higher by going to a dealer even after my warranty had expired to have repairs then going to a regular mechanic. But I felt like I could trust Volkswagen to do repairs properly and honestly. Well up until this last year I would say that that was true. But this last year has left a very bad taste in my mouth regarding the customer service and repairs that I had received on my vehicle. All I ever got were excuses no matter what I brought up to my service consultant Ray. Very frustrating to say the least. I think I will find a new place to take my vehicle since I’ve gotten to the point where I really can’t trust them working on my car without damaging it or causing another problem to arise as soon as I pick my car up from them. Please check over your car if you leave them there for service to make sure there are scratches dents broken parts that you’ll find once you get your car home.

We just bought our second car from Sheehy. I cant recommend Jonathan enough. He was so helpful in answering questions, listening to our needs, and getting us exactly what we were looking for. Definitely ask for him when you go.

Originally rated 5 stars due to the process with the sales team, especially Sami. Reducing to 1 star for the communication and customer service afterwards. Service is terrible, my husbands car was damaged multiple times while having work done. Stephanie has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. She even stopped replying to my emails when I was looking for an update on a situation. After ignoring two of my emails the manager had to get involved and took over communication. My husband and I will never go back to this establishment again.

We had an amazing experience with John, Sami and the entire staff Sheehy VW. They made an out of state purchase seamless. It was by far our best car buying experience!

I bought a brand new Jetta from Jorge Perez and received exceptional service. He was very honest and helpful. The price was extremely fair and the benefits were great. 100% would recommend this place for a friend and would definitely come back to buy a car in the future.

I was given an invoice stating that my tires were rotated, but when I went to my car, they clearly hadnt been rotated. I was then told that if I wanted the service that had already been sold to me when I purchased the car, Id have to pay an additional $30. I was lied to when I was originally sold the vehicle, then I was lied to when I questioned them about the lack of a tire rotation.

Ive always had a good experience at this dealership. Its one of the best service shops Ive taken a car to. They are relatively quick, its easy to drop off my car (indoors), Ive never gotten my car back after service with additional problems, and the waiting area is great. Yes, I could get the service done cheaper elsewhere, but I prefer the experience here.The new car dealership experience is also great. The sales guy Curtis was helpful and gave me all the time I needed to make my decision. The dealership is clean and comfortable and everyone is enthusiastic about the cars they sell without being pushy.
