Managed to damage my screen - glass *and* LCD - from an accident I couldnt recreate if I tried. But I was able to get my phone fixed next day! Of course it was pricey, but thats life.The employees were all helpful and kind and answered all of my questions. I knew how much it would be before committing to the repair - no surprises! The repair was done same day in just a few hours.Would definitely recommend if you need any repairs on any device!

The Springfield location couldnt fix my phone in time so I took it to the Alexandria location which was able to get it done within the day. This is likely because they did not have enough technicians in the Springfield location for my needs. I did have a five-star experience at the Alexandria location. I am also sure if they had the technicians. I would have had a similar experience at the Springfield location.

McDennis, one of the technicians at this location, is great. I went in to get my iPhone screen fixed and he took care of it within an hour. The screen is completely fixed and looks and works like it is brand new. McDennis was extremely polite and professional and even stayed late so I could pick up my phone the same day. I had a great experience taking my phone to get repaired here and I highly recommend it to others.

I had a underwhelming experience at the other location on King Street, but this one is gold. The associate was knowledgeable answered every question I threw at him and he gave unbiased solutions. I will definitely come back to this location for any and all electronic needs. Thanks!

The technicians here were great. They identified issues with my phone and gave me information on my warranty which I wasnt sure about. This store (at the Springfield mall) has reduced hours right now because they are short staffed. They didnt call me when the replacement parts arrived (I called them) so Im not sure how long they had been sitting before I realized I could bring my phone in for the repairs, hence the 1 star subtraction. Im sure they would have been quicker though if they were fully staffed. They gave me their full attention when I was in the store and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy.

I stopped in because the charging port on my phone was barely functional. Within five minutes of being there the issue was resolved; it turns out that enough dirt and debris had become packed into the bottom of the port to stop the charger from making good contact. The technician quickly diagnosed the issue and cleaned out the port. Now the port is as good as new.

McDennis T. at this this location is/was awesome. He took my device and went above and beyond the shops hours. He also provided an itemized receipt showing where he corrected other repairs from another shop. Thanks to him taking my simple fix, his time and expertise took a cracked device to a totally refurbished one. My device is like new again! If I have another issue, I only want his service again! The least I can do is write this review. If his supervisor is reading this, he deserves a raise.

I called and made an appointment. When I got there the store had no record nor could they look at the problem immediately as the woman on the phone promised. While waiting outside since I requested curb service due to stores handicap inaccessibility I was cut off 3 times, put on hold for 17 minutes. Finally a tech came out and explained this is no longer a franchise store but corporate and all contact was with corporate. Told me its would be 3 weeks to even look at it. I went to Verizon and my notepad was fixed in less than 5 minutes with smiles from the staff. Run from uBreakiFix. When it was a franchise i recommended and complimented them now I wouldnt take a dead flea there.

Had a great experience with Max the store manager while they fixed my cracked Samsung Ultra 21. A bit of confusion early in day however Max went above and beyond to make sure my phone was fixed the same day. He stayed 2 hours past closing and waited for me to get off work at 7. He also provided a free liquid glass protector for my phone because of the confusion from earlier. I would definitely work with this company and Max again!

They went above and beyond the scope of work that they needed to do to fix my phone. They fixed it in the amount of time that they said they would and for the amount that they estimated it would cost. My cellphone company would have charged me an arm and a leg and I would not have had my phone. Especially fixed and returned to me in 2 hours. I would recommend them to everyone. They make you wait way to long to get your items for pickup. I let them fix my phone and tablet. On both occasions, when entering to pickup my item, I had to wait behind several customers who were making their initial drop which required lots of processing. My pickup was quick and only required paying. Can you “fix” that process?

These people left me furious, My computer was kept for a whole week and the work looks sloppy and the side panel tempered glass was cracked. I dont understand why a whole week if they couldnt do the work then notify me sooner so I could look somewhere else.

My Google phone experienced power issues that seem to be all to commonplace for pixel phones. I was not happy that UnreakIfix was the only retailer authorized to fix Google phones. I thought it was another way for Google to make money off of its terrible product. I was surprised to be proven wrong. We came here after a negative experience at the King Street location and could not have been happier with their service!Every person we talked to on the phone and in person was incredibly friendly, helpful, and came off as honest. Fixed phone as promised, at the price they quoted, in the same day, within the time interval they projected. It was $230 to fix my pixel 5 screen but cheaper than buying a new phone.

I was giving a quote of $369 to repair a cracked screen of an iPad Pro. I called a second time to confirm the price because it was lower than any other repair shop. The quote was the same on the second call and I even got the name of the employee that gave me the quote. When I drove to the store (45 mins from my house) they told me that it would cost $500 to fix the iPad Pro. I told the clerk the quote was $369 and that price was given to me twice over the phone. After going back and forth they agreed to the quoted price.The next day they called me and claimed they couldn’t repair it because the “frame was bent”. I never dropped the iPad on the frame, a battery was dropped on the top of the glass and cracked the screen, the iPad had always been in a hard case and never been dropped.. So the “frame was bent was just an excuse to not repair and honor the previous quoted price of $369. I then took the iPad Pro to two repair shops and both confirmed that the frame wasn’t damaged and Ubreakifix just didn’t want to honor the original quoted price.If the frame was really bent they would have told me that on the initial inspection, but it wasn’t bent. They wasted my valuable time and I ended up having to repair the iPad Pro at Apple which was double the repair cost of Ubreakifixit, just so I wouldn’t have to go through the hassle again of a shady local repair shop. Very bad business practices at Ubreakifix, have your employees give the correct quote over the phone, and if they make a mistake, honor the quote and don’t lie about the condition of the iPad to weasel out of an agreement. Or simply just don’t LIE to customers.

Professional, clean, efficient, and awesome. I dealt with both the tech and the owner (?) who checked me in, set me up, and got me on my way. In the midst of the pandemic, it was truly convenient. Went in with the assumption my charging port was broken as nothing would charge it. Nope, just an excessive amount of lint. Instead of taking my phone and charging me for repairs, they just pulled the lint out of the port, handed it to me a moment later after a quick test and I couldnt be happier.

**Update**The replacement device I received from this location is having the exact same issue as the original device. I contacted this location today after being referred by the manufacturer, and the rep was very rude and unprofessional. I asked to speak to the manager to resolve my issue and he then proceeded to have an conversation with the manager, where he stated that he would just say that he was the manager to get me off of the phone. He thought he muted himself, but I heard the entire thing. Very unprofessional!My phone was having major power and functionality issues and the manager and staff went above and beyond to ensure that the issue was resolved.

Fast and professional service

I recently had to bring my Galaxy S9 into the store to replace my screen as well as the back portion of phone. When I received my phone back, it looked pretty much brand new as to when I first got it. Surprisingly, the amount of damage my phone had, the price was actually pretty cheap, especially for the quality of the work that was done and the amount of time it took. I read some very few negative review . But note that there are only 2 employees; so the wait time was 3 hours, which is expected, but still fast considering the amount of people that come in and drop their devices off. For only having 2 workers, they got it done sooner than expected, and the quality of service was better. Even if there was some unsatisfactory work or damage to the phone due to error, it would have been covered by their warranty if there even was an issue present. I highly recommend this place, and I probably will bring most of my broken devices here in the future.

Just wanted to say that Ive had an excellent experience with this branch of UbreakIfix company. To be honest I was apprehensive in thinking that these people were going to pull a fast on me and butcher my 1tb Galaxy s10 plus phone. Thank God! I was wrong....very wrong. These people were professional and repaired my phone the same day. They use Samsung original parts not unlike some repair shops that use aftermarket to save money and cheat their gullible customers. The price they charge for display/battery replacement, is not bad at all ($286+tax) considering Apple charges $500 plus to have their flagship display replaced only. In my case is more expensive because the galaxy s10 plus display have under the screen fingerprint sensor which makes them expensive.

Staff here was very helpful as well as patient with us. He tried for probably a good half hour with us trying to help figure out the pw to my girlfriends phone, and that was before we even got there. They had to order the part but, had it within 2 day, if I remember correctly. The best part was that they actually FIXED her phone instead of disassembling it and reassembling it more broken then before as we have had other, similar places do.

I went in for a battery replacement for my Pixel 3 and was shocked when they wanted my phone password so they could access the settings to run a battery diagnostic after the install, of course I told them no! Phones contain a great deal of PII so your password should never be shared especially with strangers. They said ok then you can do a factory reset before leaving it, I said bye. Now Im buying a battery from ifixit and if youre in Springfield VA I recommend you seek another option to this store as well. I also live an hour from this store and the phone rep I spoke with never mentioned this important detail, they only said I would need to do a backup in case something broke during the repair. So a complete waste of time.

We had them replace a bad battery in our phone. The price was decent and exactly as quoted online. It only took 1.5 hours and its conveniently located next to the mall so you can shop and/or eat while you wait. The representative was polite and knowledgeable.

I got the screen and lcd display replaced plus a supposed glass screen protector. Within 2 weeks phone fell off table and screen is cracked. Which should not have happened if it had a screen protector at all! I call because i spent $250 on that and they said i didnt get a warranty so it isnt covered. No one offered me a warranty when I got this repaired. Then i asked how much it would cost to get screen repaired again. Guess what +$200. Rip off. Stay away from this place. Or at least dont get their supposed screen protector that you cant even tell if it has it on BUT it says on their workorder that it was done. Wow. They could of just said on the workorder it was done when it wasnt even done. Wow. Just wow.Update. Spoke to owner and she said will fix the screen for me for partial price. Very considerate and thankful for how kind she is

Took in my Xbox One X to be fixed, they told me that the IC chip was broken and that they couldn’t fix it due to lack of materials (understandable). Got my device back and there was rattling inside (loose hard drive) I took it back to the store seconds after getting it back and told them the issue, they fixed it the following day. I get home and realize they didn’t put the xbox back together probably and now the power cord won’t fit into the console. Never going back here again! Do you properly train your employees?

Took in a Nexus 6 for a new battery. They had the phone all day, and told me that they had a problem with a stripped screw. The phone had never been opened before so I suspect that they had stripped it. There are several approaches to removing stripped screws, but they apparently couldnt think to try any of them. They ended up not being able to replace the battery at all. They offered to break the frame to get the battery out. Why would I pay for that? The owner gave me the battery as a consolation, but it is not inside the phone so it is completely useless to me. There appears to a new scratch on the phone screen that I have been extremely careful to keep flawless. I recommend that you take your phone somewhere else.

I have a Samsung s7 that had a screen cracked after dropping in the parking lot. As the other reviewer wrote outstanding customer service with a warm and friendly attitude. I had problems with my 4 year old laptop after installing Windows 10 and whatever else was causing my USB ports and VGA cable to not be recognized and function properly. These guys not only fixed the problems but took Windows 10 off at my request, restoring my laptop to Windows 7 which works better for me and for no extra charge. I have no more issues with my computer now and all this for less than a hundred bucks, well worth it! They were very communicative and helpful, I definitely recommend.

I walked in at 5pm today and my phone had a new screen by 5:30. They were so speedy and professional and I appreciated all the diagnostics and testing they did to make sure everything was working fine and the only thing wrong was the broken glass. Sandy was marvelous and if something goes wrong with my phone again I will definitely go back there.

Edit 2: Buyer Beware! Do not buy the Cell Helmet warranty. I have never worked with a company that was so hard to work with. You purchase their product, but theyre are adamant in not working with you to have your device repaired.Edit: Buyer Beware! Purchase of the $69.99 Cell Helmet warranty plan is bogus. Its quite a quick transaction at the counter, but it is not stress-free process to have a repair made.You cannot simply take the device to the store location and have them repair it. Instead, you have to have it facilitated through Cell Helmet where you file a claim, wait for 3-4 days to be called back, then allow them to coordinate the repair with the store. Then, you have to pay for the repair, then request a reimbursement from Cell Helmet has to be requested by way of providing a copy of the receipt.I am in the middle of the process, but I do not look forward to the frustrations forthcoming. I would not recommend purchasing the warranty. Its probably more worthwhile to work through UBreakIFix to have the device repaired under a Time and Materials contract type.The worst. I probably should have asked a few questions when I made the purchase. At the time time, the salesperson should be a bit more forthcoming about the warranty process when its sold.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This location was so helpful from the time I walked in through the time I paid for my repaired device. Luckily, my phone was broken early SAT morning so I could drop it off and pick it up the same day. Felt like my phone was going to be repaired without any technical issues. While I hope I do not have to pay $200 for another S7 screen, I would go back to this location without hesitation.
