Long story short.... I bought the wrong part... I returned to the store to exchange it for the right one.... They couldnt exchange it but they could return it (for a 15% restocking fee) and then sell me the correct one.... it would have been cheaper to go to Best buy🤷instead I support small businesses and this is what I get for supporting small business🤷 higher prices and an $8 charge to exchange the wrong part and buy the correct one... I wont be back🖕

If you are having issues with your computer I highly recommend taking it to Practical Computers, they were great! They fixed my computer in a reasonable timeframe for a reasonable price and were very friendly and helpful.

Friendly people, very informative with a lot of information and eager to help. Space is nice and clean! However, $59 diagnosis fee for a broken screen when you already know its a broken screen (cracked and flickering) seems a little bit harsh though. I imagine it wouldnt have taken more then 15 minutes for a parts search that would be accounted in this diagnosis fee. $212 for parts and labor, plus $59 for diagnosis fee = $271. I later checked with Affordable Computers in Eugene and they offered to do it for $150 and no diagnosis fee. But again, friendly people, clean space, very knowledgeable. Cheers!

Amazing, friendly service. I had to take my PC in after I had attempted to upgrade the motherboard. They helped me figure out that the board was faulty and how to get a replacement. I will definitely be coming back again.

This place is what all PC stores should aspire to be. Went in today to get some thermal paste for a new build I am finishing up and ending up getting a new SSD as well. Had a wonderful chat with who I believe is the owner or an amazing associate. Either way this place rules and i will be coming back.

I highly recommend these people, they are very helpful. I came in with a very minor problem (get a file off a desktop pc).They waved their minimal fee and took care of my problem immediately. In and out in 10 minutes.If youre looking for good honest people who know what theyre doing and want to avoid the big box stores GO HERE!

My old desk top was on its last leg (old HP purchased 2005 Vista. Extremely slow) and contacted a Tech friend and He told me to contactPractical Computers and have a system built to my needs. Praised them for their work and systems they built not some factory built machine I did not need. Went to their store and met with Cindy! Very professional and obviously very knowledgeable of her product. Placed an order and two days later had it installed. WOW!!!! Completely satisfied with everything! This extremely fast and easy to use. The installer was fantastic and took his time to redo my setup and explain what he was doing and how to use the various equipment I purchased. The first few days had to call for assistance on a few issues I was confused about and their staff immediately assisted me. I also like fact that should there be any need to have work done on the tower or equipment they are only 6 miles away thus do not have to take it/sen to an out of State Manufacture! Thus being without a computer for several Days!!!! Hopefully this has been helpful and I strongly recommend these folks to you!!! DB

Nice guys! They gave me some used RAM for $20 when it could have cost more brand new. I took it home and installed it. Works great!

Repair and computer sales. A little quick to recommend replacement, but I suppose serious repair quickly costs more than todays cheaper computers.

I was looking for a computer store to handle all my computer needs, practical started off strong, I even referred my family, then the snowball experience began. I brought in a laptop that was having problems, they called me saying it was repaired. I arrived and when we started laptop the problem was alive and well. Now they say it cannot be repaired so I bought a new laptop and when I returned for service they told me it couldnt be repaired. I called HP and they are in the process of providing me service that practical should have done. Every time I returned with more business the prices got higher and higher and the service less and less. Okay for initial visit but long term care not suggested. I guess return customer means nothing to them

This a OK computer shop. I will have to say that they are way over priced for computers. But with saying that they are pushing Intel CPUs, for me I really like shops that have both CPUs not just one. I would have to say that this shop is more for business. Or high end people that have a lot of money.

My power adapter cord had some damage and they did not have a replacement for me so he took thirty minutes and fixed my existing cord for a 1/4 of the price of a new one, AWESOME!
