Pathetic employees and prices sky high.. WESTLAKE makes this store seem like a joke.

Literally had the best experience this morning. The gentleman was so professional and nice and new exactly what I needed to get me on my way.

Id forgotten about Sutherlands. They moved and I had just lost track of em. Nice, well organized store with friendly folks to give ya a hand should ya need help.

Always get help on projects. At Lowes and Home Depot, you cannot find anyone to help you and when you do, it is an inconvenience to them and they dont know anything. I receive so.e very good advice at Sutherlands and they have very good prices. It is superconvenient and a well organized store.

Cecil sure doesn’t treat people kindly. Love sutherlands and have used them for years as i love the small business hardware store. I won’t be going back. I have birdseed my daughter gave me over holidays. Birdseed was all i ask for for the holidays. This batch was bad and Cecil doesn’t believe me. I understand the receipt is needed. But can you not treat people with some respect. Ill be going across town to the other small hardware store.

Convenient location near me on Glenstone. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Offers a military discount. Prices are a little higher on some things than, say, Walmart, but it is the closest hardware shop near us for doing home projects and the small price difference can be worth it for the convenience of saving a trip down Glenstone

Sometimes people look at you sideways in there and its frustrating because we like to come support the little guy. Keep a positive attitude .....looking at you old guy and lady behind the registerId love to shop there more but they kind of act like your bothering them. A little kindness could keep your doors open

The mask mandate is in place for Springfield, MO and the first and last person you encounter has his mask below his nose, we will take our business to Menards, where they do enforce the mandate.

Came in from out of town and needed tie-downs and tarps unexpectedly. Everyone in the store was extremely helpful and great. It’s nice when people go above and beyond in this day and age and restore some faith in humanity. Great people!

Good selection of by the bit hardware and employees know where there items/supplies are and can tell you accurately.

The fact that it is truly a family owned business, makes this place a pleasure to visit! They are always helpful and knowledgeable. You never know what youre going to find! BTW, if you havent gotten one yet their live Christmas trees are not only beautiful, but much more affordable than anywhere else!

The customer service is incredible! You do not find people like this everyday! Especially at Lowe’s! They went out of their way to help us, when Lowe’s was the one that should have offered to help seeing how we bought a $1200.00 refrigerator from them and they didn’t offer to help me strap it down!! These to gentlemen at Sutherlands spent at least 30 minutes tying it down for us! Thank you so much!!! The random acts of kindness are what keeps you going back to a business especially right now with this epidemic!Thank you!

When Sutherlands first opened up in its new location I found it very lean on selection. I went in yesterday and found that it has a very very good selection in all departments. I highly recommend them

Always super helpful with a well stocked store and competitive pricing. Parking is close to the entrance and it doesn’t have the frenzied feel of Lowe’s and HD, which is a very good thing.

Nice store. Well lite and easy to get around. I went specifically to this store to buy a simple ceiling light for a bedroom. I looked at their display models and found exactly what I was looking for. I searched the lightening department for the model but unfortunately I could not locate the light. I asked a sales representative for help. Very polite young man. He searched his computer and indicated there was a light listed in his inventory, but after a thorough search of the area, he could not find a ceiling light that I could buy. Decided to try another store.

Its ok i guess. We needed a bath mat. Something simple. We live near there so we thought theyd have one. They have every other bath accessories. No bath mat. Disappointed.

The staff is extremely friendly and knowledge! The store doesnt look it has much to offer from the outside but it is surprising big on the inside and well stocked. Definitely worth stopping in and checking out.

Loved the prices at the early bird sale, but there werent enough carts or check outs. I stood in line for an hour! A disabled person could not have done that. Heck, holding 4 plant baskets I could barely do it. It was a bad experience.

When I need just a small part, or extra bag of rocks, this is the closest and friendliest place.

Love this store. Not a place to go for bargains but, they carry most everything in quick repairs.

They dont have as much to choose from when compared to other stores, but you count on them to have a good selection of live Christmas trees at a reasonable price! Cant wait to decorate our tree for the holiday season.

I am very grateful to have a hardware store close to my home. I hate driving halfway to the Moon to go to one of the big ones.

There is supposed to be a big sale on flowers bedding plants and what they had was half dead or no tag on them and the employees didnt even know what they were. Save your money go to Westlake or family flowers
