I had the pool installed and after one week it had the damage in the pictures. I have been in contact with Namco several times in the past 2 months and no parts or responses from anyone. I would not recommend them because of poor customer support.

We paid for our pool March 15th this year, we were told that our pool would be installed no later then Memorial Day, we called the week before that just to get an ETA since we hadn’t heard anything from Namco and was expecting to hear on why no one has contacted us providing an update. When we called we were told at that time it now going be some where around now the middle of June, and we would get another call a week ahead of time. Well today is one week already into June and no call! You leave messages and no one returns them. You call and you can’t speak to a retail associate. So what we were told back in May is that they lost all there installers and there backed up. We bought our pool 3 months ago.!! They have installers doing side jobs, getting our friends and neighbors and family there pools done before ours! My husband is looking at me crazy because I thought putting the liability on the company rather then getting someone to do it on the side was the right thing to do. But apparently not!!! We’re sitting here in the middle of a heat wave with no pool!!Thanks a lot NAMCOSo I read the response from the owner and it says to contact you? I’m assuming not YOU directly since your not going contact me and there no contact information for you. So once again today I call the retail store we’re we purchased the pool and no one picks up. However I left a message after your response and I’m still waiting for someone to return my call. I emailed the customer service email you left and my email came back as failed. So there really hasn’t been anything accomplished or no resolution to my problem. As a manager for 12 years I hate feeling like just a number!!!

We paid for our pool March 10th with the promise if I paid that week it would be set up before Memorial Day. I had excellent service when I was buying the pool and the person was most attentive. I drove down to pay and sign papers that week. It went downhill from there. Its late June, and the pool has not even arrived. I did not get notified that it was shipped and the company did not ship to my area. Calling the store no one really seemed to care. Finally, I was able to talk to someone in the corporate office who has been answering my emails and calls at least. The installer has no idea when he will be able to get it in, and he is overbooked. If I knew this was going to happen I would have bought local. I am really disappointed and feel like I am losing the whole summer without a pool. If I ran a business and this had happened, I would be calling my client and updating at the very least.Update: Our pool arrived June 24th and installer called and said he would be there June 28th. He came that day, and I didnt realize it was a three day process. First guy comes sets up space. Next day another guy comes sets up pool and then they have to come after you filled it a bit to do something else. I have to say the installers did a great job! So that was a pleasant surprise. Namco does not tell you that they dont put your pump in as a part of installation. We got the guys to do it, by offering a little extra cash to them, but they couldnt complete it because Namco did not tell us we need an adapter. I am pleased with installers but wish Namco would be more communicative with their customers.

Bought a pool there in April after being referred by a coworker who bought his a couple weeks before me. Customer service was good in the store and the associate took the time explaining everything to me and even repeating himself a few times due to my young kids being with me and me missing what he said. I appreciated that part of the experience, however everything after that was down hill. So like I said I bought the pool in April, April 24th to be exact and was told it would be installed by mid June. My coworker who bought his two weeks before me was told his pool would be installed by the beginning of June, so ok this makes sense to me. I was told due to where I live in Mass, I would have to use a New York installer and would receive a call a couple weeks before with the install date, ok no big deal, so May comes and my pool arrives on a pallet until the install, ok I’m thinking everything is on schedule. Beginning of June, no phone call, I check with my coworker, no phone call for him either. We both call the store and are told that the New York installer backed out and we have to wait for an installer out of Connecticut and we need to contact him ourselves. Ok, that seems odd, but I want my pool so call the installer and he says he’s backed up and shouldn’t even be doing installs in my area. Couple more weeks go by, no call from anybody, call the store again and now they say they didn’t complete and/or file all the paper work so I wasn’t even on and install list. The find the paper work I filled out in April and are able to get me on the install list. Installer calls and says the date will be the first week of July. Installer comes and everything goes smoothly, great company, great crew. I couldn’t be happier with the installers. However I am extremely dissatisfied with Namco as a store.So the installers do their part and it’s then that I realize that Namco never shipped my ladder with my pool. I call the store again and talk to the manager Ed, who at this point we have talked a few times and seem to be like old friends, Ed tells me that the associate never rang up my ladder because they didn’t have any in stock when I bought my pool. That’s funny, I went over everything with the associate line by line and was never told the ladder wasn’t in stock. So now I have a giant lawn ornament that my young kids are looking at wondering when are they going to be able to use the pool. So I explain to Ed that I went over everything and was never told the ladder wasn’t in stock and that is something I should’ve been told so I could’ve made sure to get a ladder before my pool was installed. I asked him how a mistake like that happens to which he replied “I don’t consider it a mistake, didn’t you check your bill of lading when your pallet was delivered, you would’ve saw that the ladder wasn’t there.” Are you serious, he’s blaming me now, I’m sorry that I didn’t know or understand all the abbreviations and codes on the bill of lading, but again had I been told in April I wasn’t getting a ladder I would’ve made other arrangements before hand. So now the pool is up and I am borrowing a ladder until mine is delivered in a couple of weeks…sorry for everyone reading this long review, I just want everyone informed…oh and Namco you can save your time replying to this review because I’m not going to read your response or step foot in your store again. Complete incompetence and and a useless company.

In my opinion I think that out of all of the pool stores in the area they have the most reasonable prices but unfortunately they are always very under staff and the wait does not justify the decent prices, I think who ever the manager is, He/She needs to step up their game because they are in a very demanding area to be offering such poor customer service.

He definitely went above and beyond! 😊I also want to thank Roxy and Melanie from customer service for correcting an issue with my pool order in a timely manner.I know with the pandemic it was hard for many pool places to keep up with orders. These 3 employees made my experience at Namco pools a great one and for that I want to thank them publicly.Keep up that great work!! 😊😊😊

They tell you what you want to hear so you will buy the pool . They aren’t honest and they just give you the run around. They told us a pool would be in by a certain date months later they still don’t know when it will be here . Stay clear from that store and find another pool place !

Great place to get pool water tested. Staff isnt pushy and dont make you believe that you need to buy tons of stuff to fix your pool water. Very straight forward and on point with what you need. Also they have a huge selection of outdoor necessities, everything from pool supplies to outdoor furniture and much much more. Will be back for all of our outdoor and pool needs

Joel is a 5 star employee. He went above and beyond to help me and my sister. Take a part off the old pump to put on the new one. He deserves a raise. And if I had my own business I would steal him. Hes very friendly. Great employee.

Namco Pools has a nice assortment of pools and spas that will fit a family of any size. The sales people are very polite, and not pushy. The help you find exactly what you are looking for without trying to push you to buy something that you dont want. We have priced other places and price is very comparable. They have everything you need to maintain your pool. I would recommend people check out Namco for their pool or spa!!!

If I could give NAMCO ZERO STARS I would. Howard was the sales consultant who helped me from day one. He was great the day that I went to and brought the pool of course after he made the sale. But after I made the purchase he did care for me as a customer but did not give me enough information on the type of pool. He didn’t give me an estimated date of delivery. Howard also tried giving a copy of my permit with my information to another customer while I was still in the store, I told him that I hope he didn’t give the other lady my information and with me saying that the other customer got mad at me which she formed a scene at the store. He did not send the installation information to the contractor so when I received the the pool, I called David and he himself was frustrated because he didn’t have any information regarding my order. David told me I had to call the store again to have them send my installment information over to him. David also told me we were not able to schedule an installation date because where my house was located and because of my fence in the backyard. At this point I was wishing that I went with Teddybear pool like I was going to do in the beginning. The experience was a nightmare.

If I could do zero stars, I would. I have an Allure pool. Its about 5 years old and more than half of the top metal railings are rusted out. I went to the store and attempted to order new ones and was told it would take 8 weeks. Mind you, it took over 45 minutes to get this information because no one has any knowledge or idea as to what they are doing. At the same time I was trying to obtain a water sample that took the employee 18 different times to attempt to run. The manager gave me a website to order them myself and he informed me it would only take 2 weeks. After viewing the website, the parts are Out of Stock. I called the store back and they informed me that if they were out of stock for me, then they would be out of stock if the store attempted to order as well. I asked what their plan was then for an alternative option. The MANAGER said there was nothing he could do. I will escalate this issue farther within Namco as well as to the BBB. You cannot sell a product that you have no means to replace. So as of right now I have children that are unable to fully utilize the pool as there are rusty metal pieces exposed in a pool that is only 5 years old. The pool was way too expensive for this to happen. I would highly recommend alternative pool buying options for anyone out there.

The place is great for supplies, but would not buy a pool from here. They hired an outside person to set my pool up and it was a nightmare. I bought my pool in 2016. The pool was supposed to be set up before the 4th of July weekend and the people never showed up. Then a week later the people showed up late afternoon tired and the owner swearing because it was hot out and they were tired from being out all day. They were supposed to come early a couple of days later, but came late afternoon again and we made them do it. They set the pool up and let it fill overnight, but when they were supposed to come back out to check they never did. The owner finally called after hours to ask if his guys ever came out, and I told him no and he began cursing. I told him this is supposed to be finished and he came with the single parent excuse and fought with me and then hung up. Later that day his guys came and finished the pool. To be honest my pool didnt even last the year. We had a leak in it and were unable to locate it. We were originally told it was from water evaporation from constant direct sunlight, but we began losing too much water. We bought a new skimmer and everything, but nothing helped. When the pool was first set up I noticed little crevices in the floor of the pool which they never came to check after we called and we felt little rocks under the floor of the pool. We were told that if there is a hole that the liner not covered unless it had to do with the seam, although we complained since the very beginning. Come to find out now that we are replacing the liner ourselves, the company they hired did not put down fine sand, but sand that had rock pieces in it and they did not put enough down. The sand should have been fine and atleast 3 deep not less than 1. The area should have also been cleared out from any rocks before hand, but that wasnt the case. I know this all happened under old management, but the same outside contractor is used and they are no good.

We use to buy all our pool chemicals here, but prices skyrocked over the years, and had to start buying on line to be cost effective. We now only shop here during a sale or a last minute urgent item we cant wait for...

The worst experience I have ever had with a with a retail vendor. It started with the promise of being done within 4 weeks, on the sixth week we got a call saying that we were the fifth one on their list. Ok, we got a call back. 2 weeks later our pool gets done. The installer had to come back the next day, because they needed screws that didnt get shipped with order. Come to find out from our neighbor, the lead guy threw the bag of screws at another guy and lost them. The installer came back the next day, smelling like booze. When we complained, they told us how they had problems with this guy before and they knew they should not have used him this year. At this point we asked for our install to be inspected. Long story short, the pool had to be drained and completley re-done. The whole experience would have probably been better had Namco communicated well with the customer. It sucks when you cant get a call back.

One of the worst businesses to deal with ever. Pool installed after nearly two months of constant rescheduling and cancellations in summer 2016.The installers were terrible to work with. They finally put up the pool and left with zero instructions and care information for us.Pool broke over the winter (big shocker) and it has now taken us two store visits and four phones to order the section of the pool that needs to be replaced. Namco has clerks, but beyond basic checkouts only managers can do any ordering or actual customer service work.Still havent been able to order it. Pool is unusable and the damage isnt being covered by the warranty they were so proud of in 2016.Do yourself a favor and go to literally any other company to buy from.
