Good deals and inventory but it seemed difficult finding someone working to answer questions about the products and many items are locked up so you habe tonfind someone that can get them out for you, so you cant even go to check out without assistance. The good news is that When i was able to locate someone to help us they were very friendly.
I had an incredible experience placing an order over the phone and was helped by someone named Raquel. They were really friendly and patient with me and helped me find an alternative printer that matched my needs when the one I originally wanted was out of stock (darn chip shortage!) Not only did they help me find an alternative that was exactly what I needed at a price that matched my budget, they also were really thoughtful and an all around wonderful human being (when they put me on hold, they asked me if I wanted hold music or not... nobody has ever asked me that before!)I highly highly recommend any store Raquel is working at. To any best buy managers reading this right now... Raquel is a gem and I recommend promoting them as high as possible!
Had an amazing experience. A guy named, Ethan helped my fiance and I. We were there to get good screen protectors for our new s21 ultras. They were originally like 43 bucks a piece. I thought I had found them online for cheaper. Ethan let us know if we did they could price match it. After reading the fine details it wasnt for the right phone. So Ethan took the time to go on his phone and find the right screen protector for cheaper then proceed to do a price match and we literally saved 50%. He found them for like 20 bucks a piece. I would absolutely recommend best buy
Highly Recommend the Geek Squad team at this Best Buy location. My iPhone 12 Pro speaker was not working, made an appointment through Apple for this location, and glad I choose Best Buy! Turns out that I needed a whole new screen. They got it replaced within an hour, and with the warranty, only cost me $30 bucks! I wish I remembered the guys name that helped me.

Wont Accept Returns. I purchased a phone 14 days ago and they will not accept a return for the defective device. An employee in the store last week said 10/18/2021 is the last day I can return and three online employees said the same thing.This clearly violates their Returns & Exchange Policy. One employee even told me the return was possible, but due to an error on the carrier side, my best option is to go to Samsung and wait for them to send me a new phone.I also visited Best Buy 4 different times only to be told contact AT&T...Its not on our end. One person told me before we exchange your phone, lets have you try a different SIM with a different carrier.So not only would they not accept returns, they deliberately put blame on the consumer and other companies rather than simply accepting a return in order to drag out the return process.
I told the guy sitting at the door I wanted a Bluetooth headset I waited a half hour no one came around so I left I get if all the employees were with customers but there was 4 of them doing nothing so I guess I will not go back or buy anything from this place again this is the second time I had bad experience with best buy I will pay a little higher price somewhere else and get a better response time
Incredibly helpful staff, good selection of what they sell and easy to browse products. Only complaints would be that the check out area isnt super clearly defined, and the tags for products show a lot of information but its not always clear to read.
Went there this past week to get my computer fixed. Wasn’t there right fit and didn’t end up using their services but nonetheless the employees were extremely helpful and gave great advice.
The employees are rude. Just flat out rude. I wanted to ask if they had a product in stock, I stood beside 3 employees waiting to ask my question. They completely ignored me for 5 minutes and continued ordering Starbucks. Im not even kidding. And then they asked me if I was on a customer list. I only wanted to ask Hey do you have this product? It would have literally been a 2 minute interaction, at most. Instead they got Starbucks and I just ordered it on Amazon. I shouldnt have wasted my time.
I purchased my Samsung Q60 there last week as a open box special. It was an awesome deal and It allowed me to get into a TV I didnt think I would be able to afford at the time. I went back yesterday and picked up a LG sound bar that was also a open box special. Im highly satisfied with my purchases so far and I suggest checking out the open box items for some awesome deals!

The store brand is just overpriced for a lot of products. I often price shop between this location and the Staples next door. More often than not, Staples comes out on top. Maybe the biggest selection of electronics in the area. But, doing homework can often find one better deals elsewhere... maybe even next door.

Due to where I live I have to travel roughly 1.5 hours to the nearest bestbuy. It just so happens this is the closest one. The associates are always super friendly yet understanding when you just want to be left alone. I do find the selection has gotten worse over the years but they still have the competition beat in prices.

If I could give them no stars I would. I contacted the store for availability of product on sale. Ascertained transportation, and upon arriving at the store was told they have been sold out for a while, when did I call?This is not the first time, but shame on me for letting them keep scamming me.
I still havent seen a single RTX 30 series/Radeon 6000 series card in stock nor either of the next-gen consoles. But other than these aforementioned weird stock shortages this stores selection is usually pretty good. I like the layout of it too.
The local best buy was open for in store shopping and I could see from the parking lot that they were doing a good job not overcrowding the store. On this occasion I actually chose to test out the curbside pickup option though. They have 8 curbside pickup parking spaces which is nice. I had loaded the mobile app to checkin for my pickup and it worked very well. Once I logged in the app automatically prompted me that I had orders ready for pickup. A couple button presses and I was checked in to pickup my order with only having to enter the pickup space number where I parked. A few minutes later an employee arrived with my pickup order and I confirmed the code displayed for my pickup code and accepted my items to complete the transaction. A few minutes later I was pulling out of the parking lot. They have adapted to the current times very well and I really appreciated the ease of using the option of curbside pickup.
Leaving out all the hassle i had with my broken washer this store in particular did an amazing job i need to apologize to the General manager Karla and one of the supervisors Zach i did get a bit mouthy and probably cussed a bit but yall did a great job and i left completely satisfied because of your efforts alone i will remain a customer of best buy

Walked in to cell phone area, multiple employees look at you, got put on a list to get helped next. Then they helped other people first. Ended up leaving with no help after no one offered assistance with no purchase made. Store associates were judging people on appearances.
Have ton of electronics but not much for PC building which is understandable. But last time I went there, there were 0 GPUs available. Not even one low grade one.

Went to Best Buy today and had the best experience with my time there. Went to buy a new TV but the price had gone up, oh well. Then headed over to the computer section to look at the parts. Was talking with my father when a employee asked me if I had any questions or if I needed help with anything. I asked about some of the parts and his answers were accurate and on point with current computer advancements. In all, this Best Buy provides superior support and pricing to many other businesses in the area.

I worked here for about 10 months. I really love this store! The employees and management are fantastic. The employees are knowledgeable, helpful and resourceful. The guys in the auto bay are magnificent at their craft. If you have questions about auto starters, radios and speakers. Make sure you come in before 4pm and see if one is available to answer questions. There is usually at least one guru around to help you with your electronic needs. If you have any The manager and assistant manager are incredibly knowledgeable and questions about cameras, ask for Laura. Reis and Brody are amazing, and will take the time to explore solutions to your needs. If you feel your questions may not be fully understood, ask for Dea. She is amazing! The store is always clean and they have a much bigger selection and some of the most amazing customer service!
The stereo I ordered did not show up for the installation appointment. So I was sold a jvc instead of the kenwood I had been reading about and learning how to use it. So the jvc sometimes glitches out and screen goes yellow or pink. The installer was very nice (Spencer) but not happy about this situation. I want to purchase the extended service police but you cant get anyone on the phone!! I think this will be my last purchase at best buy.
Was looking for a shelf stereo system, they had 1. The place looked empty, wasted an hour driving down there.
Nice Best Buy, lacking magnolia (home theatre center). Cool staff guy helped me pick out a monitor and explained the weird quality markers (FPS, ray tracing, etc.) Thanks Jeremy! Showed my son the computers and listened to him prattle on about his gaming addiction LOL!

In the Best Buy store Atherton avenue The lady at the customer service was extremely rude and seemed uninterested in speaking to the customer.
Purchased a window a/c unit.. it took more than 30 minutes to get help in the store then I called to check on the order and installation and waited 3 times more than 30 minutes and no LIVE person would pick.up the phone...had to go to the store and wait another 20 minutes to be helped..

They always seem to have what I want now, as before they were out of a lot of stuff. Love that they price match as I got a new samsung galaxy tab s6 lite for 279.00 from 345.00. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable about the products they sell.
I have called this store numerous of times and they never answer..It doesnt matter what time you call..I guess talking it up with your co workers is way more important to you than answer the phones..its ok I will just take my business else where

Purchased a Microsoft office home & student digital download card from the physical Best Buy store in state college. The Best Buy employee who rang me up stated that there would be a key code to be able to download Microsoft office onto the new computer that I also just purchased from Best Buy.I go to set the computer up and install the new software and there is no such key code to be found. Spent about 2 hours trying to be able to speak to an actual human rather than an automated system. After finally speaking to someone they tell me that they cannot find the code either and that there is nothing they can do. I ask to return the purchase of $129.99 that has absolutely zero value considering I cannot download what I purchased and the Best Buy rep says you cannot return anything digital?What a disappointment to go spend over $1500 and to not get what working software. The so called “geek squad” didn’t even know what they were talking about.

I had a new car stereo installed in my vehicle. Appointment was easy to schedule, employee was masked, friendly and performed the installation faster than expected. And new stereo works great!
Overall, I thought the place was really clean professional looking. The people there have always been really helpful and informative when it comes to even specific questions, so I always know Im at least going to come out of there with some solution. My only complaint is that it tends to be a bit pricey, but most Best Buys are anyway. If youre looking for a place that will be able to sell higher end items or fix more complex issues, I would certainly recommend this location.

Geek Squad Techs were very helpful and accommodating. Aa soon as they realized I was hard of hearing, and used speech reading to communicate, they put on clear face masks and spoke loud and clear enough for me to hear them over the background noise. The guy working at the section for Desktop PCs also helped me find the perfect replacement for my ancient gaming desktop.

One of the worst experiences Ive had. Stopped today to buy a drone and accessories. Plenty of employees working, 7-10 that I saw. Not many customers. I wasnt acknowledged upon entering the store, even though there were 2 employees at the door. Nobody asked if I needed help or what I was looking for, which was fine i guess since i knew what i wanted and where to go. Found the drones but had a question about the model i wanted and also couldnt see in the cabinet because the glass was frosted. A couple small groups of employees were playing on their phones. Not wanting to interrupt because i was getting increasingly frustrated and angry, I paced around a bit in the aisles by the drones. When I saw someone walking by I said excuse me but he kept walking to the back of the store. At this point I just considered leaving and buying online. Didnt really want to go that route because I didnt want FedEx or UPS to beat the hell out of it. As I waited a little longer and looked around at the rest of the uninterested employees, and what i thought to be a manager, i decided to just leave and check out online options. Never once was I acknowledged upon exiting either. Wont be purchasing it from best buy after this experience. Checked my reflection in the window outside just to make sure I was visible.

I have never had a bad trip here. The staff is available but not hovering over you while in the store and very knowledgeable of their products. In the few occasions where they did not have a product I sought due to discontinuation or exclusions they usually have ideas on where to inquire to find the product outside their own business and thats a big thing to me. I tend to stay loyal to best buy because I know they wont try to push a product that they have that doesnt meet my needs if they know the right thing can be found somewhere.

I tried to call to inquire about delivery of appliances in my area. The State College store does not answer it’s own phone. The first time I called, I was on hold for 10 minutes when the system disconnected me. I called back, was on hold for 15 minutes, Kathleen, who does not work there answered, she “helps them answer the phone”, she did not know the answer to my question, said she was putting me on a brief hold to get the info for me, I was disconnected again. Called back AGAIN waited on hold 20 minutes. The phone was answered by a man, who didn’t work at the store. When I inquired about delivery In my town he said “ I don’t think so”. After all that time I have no concrete answer. I had other questions... I guess I will go elsewhere to buy my kitchen appliances.

I can not believe that I am unable to call my local BestBuy and speak to someone in the store. I was on hold for over 15 mins to speak with an outsourced customer service representative. Im all for adding jobs and helping people get employed but I have never called a store and not spoken to someone there....ridiculous!

Best buy is the reason that people are shopping online now. I went in for a smart home assistant, and they tried to sell me a new energy plan for NRG energy.I feel like youre going to lose more customers than youll get by trying that. Im one of them.
Absolutely amazing staff and great customer service. They are always so helpful and friendly and have gone out of our way to help us every time we went in. Spent awhile with both the Verizon rep and Samsung rep to make sure I got exactly the phone I wanted. The staff is always friendly and will be my home to store for any electronics including cell phones!
I had to stand there for 25 minutes waiting for someone to help me with microphones and software like protools and finnaly when someone came to help me, they knew absolutely nothing about what i was asking an was absolutely no help at all.
The staff here is helpful, but the stock has been consistently disappointing.
