My experience was really good. I contacted this UPS store via email regarding laminating some manga prints I purchased. They responded very promptly to each of my messages. I had 50 4 x 6 prints. The price came out to be about $40 which I thought was fair and less than they quoted me in the emails. The quality of the lamination was great and it was done so much faster than I expected, I think in about a day or less if I remember right.The only thing I noticed is that a few of the edges of the laminate were cut at an angle that didnt line up with the edge of the prints. Some of them went at a slight angle, but most of them turned out great! And its nothing I cant trim myself.

The UPS Store is absolutely wonderful to work with!! They are a locally owned business that strives to go above and beyond to meet their customers needs. You can work with them through email communication or by speaking to them directly at their store. Every order has been spot on and prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend!!

The State College UPS Store is wonderful!! I had a poster I wanted printed and emailed them a pdf of what I wanted. They answered back quickly, had it printed (at a reasonable price) in just a few days and let me pick it up whenever I had the chance. They even emailed me with options. Everything was very personalized. They were also very nice when I went into the store. Highly recommend this UPS store.

I am normally here 4-5 times a week picking up the packages from my UPS box. I am always treated with respect which is rare for a college town. Most times I can walk in and someone immediately goes to the back and gets my package without me saying anything.

I was very happy with the stores service in creating a total of 9 spiral-bound notebooks. The customer service helped me several times throughout the process (via both email and phone). I was also very pleased with the paper/print quality.

NEVER go there for passport photos!!! I got my photos taken and was not happy with them. They insisted that they were up to the required standards - they weren’t! They would only even show me the photo briefly on the tiny camera screen. After I realized they weren’t good I went back and they wouldn’t retake them but just altered the exposure and brightness - STILL DIDNT PASS! Not only are they the most expensive place around, they don’t even take suitable photos! Walmart on the other hand will sit with you and let you see photos until it makes you happy, and is half the price.

This UPS Store has a very knowledgeable and talented team. They recommended a plastic coated paper for my Lost Cat sign order to withstand the wind and rain. Guess what? The sign was so durable that it was still in perfect condition 24 days later when someone found my cat and got my number off the plastic coated sign. Thanks UPS Store!

Took a package in to send to a Hotel in Georgia for my husband which was his medicine and asked the associates to put Attention to my husband and they never did the hotel received the package and thank God my husband called the hotel they were getting ready to return to sender because the UPS associates never placed his name anywhere on the box for the hotel to know who it was to go to and trust me the associate was asked 3 times to make sure his name was on the slip or box but ignored the request apparently so I will never send anything from this location again

VERY VERY RUDE AND NOT PROFESSIONAL - missed my mail box number after checking several times on an international package, and charged too much comparing to the online quote for a lightweight item.Charges for everything even to receive a package from a partner carrier.Extremely rude when I politely asked what would happen if the driver couldn’t make a successful delivery and blamed everything on me without any patience or listening to the reasons.Race discrimination on a foreigner - yelling and extremely rude by taking advantages of this person forgot to put on a mask before entering but put on the mask after realization. Strongly recommend to try this on an American/WHITE.

Been there couple times, but today was the worst experience. I stoped by dropping a prepaid shipment for my friend, he didn’t seal it and people work at this ups said they need to charge me a “packaging fee” just to put the tape on a tiny box like iPhone box size. Which I never heard about that, never had to pay this at any other ups location also FedEx across the street can do it with no charge. According to their owner’s response to other reviews the refer themselves as a “small business not the brown truck” I’d rather go to other bigger business that take cares of their customers than going back there again.

My 1-star review stands following this conversation.*5/15/19* Brought a package to mail earlier this month. When I walked in, I told the girl I needed the package sealed and mailed. A bit of tape. She weighed the parcel and I left. My mistake. The box arrived without the item at its destination. She cost me almost $40 and the UPS store didnt offer any solution or recovery to me.I used to love this location and went there to mail stuff. The fact that their expert employee couldnt put some tape on the parcel like I asked cost me.

I started my own business and got everything I needed from this UPS store. I got my banners, door hangers, thank you and referral post cards, clothing, equipment stickers, etc. And I got a really nice discount as well. Vic, Bob, Colleen, and other staff have been so friendly and very professional. They are very quick to respond to my needs.

I needed to ship 2 childrens rocking chairs across country. Staff were very helpful in figuring out how best and at the best price to send these. I havent heard that they were delivered yet, but I could check as I have the tracking information. Very expensive, but ... wanted to get it done. Also convenient location for store with ample parking.

I just moved to State College and I have used this UPS store twice. Initial visit was to return something to Amazon that was postage paid and the other was to return a Honda auto part which was in original factory packing. Both instances at the shop were an extremely poor experienced and I felt Their primary motivation was to do everything possible to make extra money off you. For the Amazon package, I had no packing tape since everything was still in boxes in storage and I asked if they could put a small piece of tape on the lid. They told me they would have to charge they are nominal packing fee to do that. I have never had a UPS or other shipping store do that and I said you’ve got to be kidding me. Because of my frustration and unhappiness they finally agreed to put small piece of tape on at no cost. My second time there was to ship back a Honda seat cushion which was in the factory box and had been delivered to me by fed ex. I went to the store thinking it would be simple to mail it back to the vendor with $400 worth of insurance to cover actual cost of the cushion.The UPS store person told me that the factory box was insufficient and they would either have to repack in a new box or could only provide $100 worth of insurance. When I explained that the vendor required that the item be returned in original shipping box, they said they could only do it with additional insurance if they put an additional box around this box (at charge of course). The box in question had no damage, was securely taped, and is the box that all Honda parts sellers use for shipping these items. So my takeaway was they were just trying to rip me off for more money once again. I have never had this problem in any other UPS store (Northern VA) and UPS has always been my go to place for shipping. This place is trying to steal from you anyway they can and I suggest you stay away. PS, Fedex was happy to mail the Honda Box as packed, no issue, full insurance, and arrived safely.

They wanted to charge me $3 to print a label to mail through their own shipping. Guy says to me someone has to pay for the computer. Normally, Id print from home but was on way here to mail something else and a return label came through email. Plus they charge you for tape if you dont have any to close your box. I do a good bit of business here through my own business. Not anymore.

What can I say, this UPS store is the best! We’ve been using their printing services for years on large packet printing orders for our conferences. We are consistently impressed with the excellent end product they produce, and the speed with which they do it. We have a great relationship with the printing staff and they even remember details of our past orders so we need say nothing more than “we’ll take the usual.” We will be continuing to work with this awesome store for years to come and could not recommend them more highly for your next printing project.

I will never take my print orders anywhere else! I made the mistake of printing my last-minute wedding invitations at another store in the area and was so disappointed with how they turned out. I called the Colonnade Way UPS Store in a panic, and Jim and Victor helped me get them out the door within the same day, despite having printer issues. I have been using this UPS Store for many years for all aspects of their services. Printing, shipping, mailbox rental and more. I use them because Jim and Colleen Small are amazing owners and have instilled the importance of customer service in their employees. I am always greeted with a smile, called by my first name and offered options when shipping packages. Highly recommend them, if I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Ive been a customer since opening day. This is the way a local business should run. All the packing, shipping, and services you can imagine. 3-D printing, lawn signs, faxing. And 24 access to a mailbox should you need that. The people are nice. Theyre friendly. They know how to move a line of waiting customers. Plenty of parking. What more could one want?

Obviously because I cant leave less than one star. My package was damaged, I was told itd be reboxed and sent that day. Here it is 6 days later and nobody seems to be able to find any info about my package. The gentleman at this store, I really wish I remembered his name told me hed work on my issue and have an answer before he left at 7:00pm...7:52pm and nothing. This was an EBay item, in which I trusted my 938 positive feedback to only be dealt with like who cares? Thank You for absolutely nothing UPS/UPS Store.And yet here we are more than a month since I tried to ship this package 3 hours away from my home and I still have nothing. I was told via email my refund check was mailed last Friday and here it is Wednesday and nothing. I live 15 minutes away. I recommended I pick it up because I feared this would happen. And yet nope, again Ive been brushed off, has this check even been sent? This is ridiculous.

Tyreek assisted me last weekend with returning all of my Direct TV and ATT equipment. After multiple calls from Direct TV and ATT on what to do with the equipment (none of it consistent) he knew exactly what to do and took care of all of the details. it was a relief to hand over all the equipment and to be done with that company. Not sure why The UPS Store just emailed me inviting me to write a review when the last time I dealt with them was a couple of years ago. So this review is for my experience a couple of years ago.Pros: Short lines compared to the UPS Customer Center on Carolean Industrial Dr., clean store, just ask and theyll help you any way they can. Give them a ball of Silly Putty, ask them to pull cartons and stuffing and tape, and package the putty and ship it, theyll take care of it for you.Cons: Incredibly expensive. If you can arrange to get your own carton, stuffing, and tape, like at Walmart, and bring your shipment to the UPS Customer Center, youll save a lot more than 50%. I remember two instances of bringing something to the UPS Store, and the bill for them to wrap and ship was over $50. Again, this is not the price of UPS -- its the price of The UPS Store.And then, I was on a Ham Radio forum, and I read about a number of people that shipped valuables from Their UPS Store, including insurance, and had problems. When their radios were delivered by UPS and arrived damaged, the recipients tried to make insurance claims. All of their claims were denied because theres a condition that the unless the packaging meets certain requirements, UPS wont accept responsibility for any damage, no matter how much it was obviously UPS fault. Good luck going to The UPS Store for satisfaction.If you take your package to the UPS Customer Center, theres a chance that any problematic packaging mistakes you made will be caught by them and theyll instruct you how to make it right before they accept your package. Apparently, if you take your package to The UPS Store and ask them to take care of it, there could be problems.Radios may not only be valuable, theyre also heavy -- the antiques from the 60s and before are often referred to as boat anchors. But if youre shipping something that might not be so challenging to pack and needing to make an insurance claim seems especially unlikely, then The UPS Store might be fine for you.On the Ham forum, people asked, If the item was packed by The UPS Store and got their blessing, then how can UPS Insurance say the packaging was insufficient? The answer is that although The UPS Store was related to UPS once upon a time, they are completely independent today. Its a bit of disingenuous trickery that they share the same name, appear to be part of the same organization, but that we should be denied insurance claims even though the packing job done by The UPS Store was the last party to handle the item. But since theyre two different entities, UPS can claim its not their fault.Meanwhile, everyone assumes that the two businesses are closely related, and would never expect this type of problem might occur, until it happens to you. Pass the word; buyer beware.The problem with the heavy radios was somewhere across the country, it had nothing to do with The UPS Store in State College. I dont think I can leave less than 5 stars, because my experience was fine.

Within the same-exact town, the family recipients for my UPS package had moved, yet I had inadvertently used their old address. While my package was in transit across the U.S., Bob --@ the Colonnade Way UPS Store-- simply arranged to have my family members new address affixed to their package; then delivery went *super-smoothly*! My brother had visited for a week and forgot to take his medicine home with him. Since this medicine cost $3000, it was very important to get it to him. Both Victor and Mairi were so helpful to get the medicine,which needed to be refrigerated, to him in a timely manner. I bought the dry ice at the Creamery and UPS packaged the medicine for me. It was sent overnite and was to be delivered by 10:30 a.m. the next day. My brother texted me before 10:00 a.m. and said he received it and everything was ok with it. Store unwilling to take incorrectly shipped package after corporate line directed me to their location. After being forced by associates to take the package to the actual ups location across town I was informed that the store, in fact, could have taken the package. Needless to say I was extremely frustrated by their lack of concern for misplaced packages and their resistance to hearing the whole issue out.

I needed a box of business cards immediately. The UPS Store had them done within a couple of hours. Their staff is very efficient and very friendly. I will go back to them for all of my printing needs.

The 3D printing was a little pricey, but they printed my Sketchup file and mailed me the two copies I ordered in a decent timeframe, and when one of them printed slightly incorrectly, they printed a third copy and included the defective one as a free gift, which won a lot of favor from me. Really a good experience for someone without a 3D printer.
