Just want to brag a bit about the extraordinary service of two technicians/sales persons that were on duty on this wet, windy, rainy Sunday afternoon. I learned that I left an item in my car that I needed for a 4 PM special church service. My car had no battery working; no electricity and though I had my key with the old fashioned slide-out to use, because the clicker couldnt work. I got in but then the glove compartment wouldnt open because it requires electricity and there was no key work around! I am so impressed that these two young men took the time required to jump a dead car to allow entry into my glove compartment to retrieve the very important item. Beyond the act, their attitudes around it was so refreshing and appreciated, in spite of the cold, windy, wet weather they were exposed to. They provided exceptional, above and beyond customer service. Great job, kind Sirs! Thank you, thank you!

20 Years later and still amazing service. I wanted to share my service appointment experience recently as it was exceptional. I purchased my Acura TL from Acura of Stockton over 20 years ago and it is my favorite car . I recently called the service dept and explained I was having a small issue with my acceleration and that my car was 20 years old and had 350k on it. Yes 350k and still running strong. The Service Mgr invited me in and recommended that I speak to Tony who was his senior Mechanic that had been working on Acuras for over 25 years. I went in and Tony came right out to meet me, shook my hand and ask me to tell him what I was experiencing. He then said, let take it for a test drive. Tony took a half hour test driving my car with me and trying to figure out what the issue was and we narrowed it down so I had an idea. There was no pressure to schedule an appt, no upselling, just honest advice on what the issue most likely was. Tony told me to come back or call anytime if I had additional questions and he would be happy to help me again.I have since scheduled my appt for Tony to do a more thorough check and verify what the issue is and fix it.This is what great service is about and why i remain loyal to this dealership. Tony and the Service Manager are fantastic and treated me like family. Exactly how its is suppose to be done.Great job!

2022 Acura Mdx is my wife’s new mom car. Walked in at Acura Modesto branch, no one assisted us. When we came here in Stockton, Greg was nice even to let our car seats tested. Glad to have a transaction with them. Greg is the person to go to.

Recently i bought used Honda CRV from this location. It was a nice experience. I was looking to buy Honda CRV and it was listed on their website. I called and spoke to Anthony who was very helpful, i requested for few more pictures and he did sent me more pictures. When we went to see the car he has kept car washed and ready as i had requested him earlier.When we visited dealership i meet Jose he was very helpful and make us comfortable and explain buying options. After we finalized the deal we went and meet Joseph in finance department he was a nice person he explain each signing page and gave us a good deal on extended warranty.The most important thing i liked about this place is the SUV was clean and they offer me at a good price.
Gene was great. Excellent customer service. I had other cars like honda and toyota and none of them were too good. their service advisors always seemed as if they didn’t like their job. Gene gets the job done, explains everything, and made sure I was well informed with what’s going to happen with my car. I bought a CPO that had minor issues, transmission chirping the next day and I brought it in. Gene ordered the parts and will have me serviced as soon as parts arrive

Kudos to him because I know things can take really long at dealerships. He even got my car washed ( it really needed one ) I took a 30 minute nap in the waiting room 😁

I appreciate the great service that I received at Acura of Stockton. I took my new 2020 Acura TLX in to my local Acura of Elk Grove due to some brake noise and was told they couldnt hear anything but I could continue to reschedule until they could locate the problem. Very frustrating! Acura of Stocktons rep Juan said we want to make it right, this is a new car and you shouldnt be experiencing this problem, he suggested some options, needless to say, I was extremely pleased with his suggestions! I came by to pick up some parts for my car and the guy that was at the part department was very friendly and helpful and that why Im giving Acura a two stars otherwise, it would have been one star. The cashier on the other hand was a whole different story. I dont know if she woke up on the wrong side of the bed or what but If thats best customer service she have to offer, Acura might want to rethink their training. No greeting or hello, how are you, just nothing. She make me feel like I was wasting her time by coming here and purchasing something from Acura. I like how she fake being polite but her whole demeanor was totally different. You can feel when a person is genuinely wanting to help and those who dont and thats the vibe I got from her and her attitude I perceive, wasnt a really friendly one. If I really wanted to be mistreat as such, I wouldnt bother even come here. Thats why I usually buy stuff online because at least I know I dont have to deal with people who seem to not like their job, I guess working in a nice air condition place are just to tough for some people. This is why company are struggling because the different between online shopping and a store is the environment, and if your store is making the environment very unpleasant for its customer, guessing what, theyre going somewhere else. This is probably the last time I will go to Acura unless they make some changes. I will be taking myself and money somewhere else. Best of luck, Acura.

As you will see in other comments below, I have experienced the same issues. Things will be said just to sell the car and afterwards customer service goes down. When you spend 50k on a vehicle youd expect better treatment. My contract was not the agreed upon mileage that was negotiated, problems with the vehicle with little remorse, and I was so upset with the summation of everything I just got rid of the vehicle. I asked for a maintenance refund and was lied to that it was not refundable. I went through HQ for my refund and issues, since nothing was helpful from this dealer (upper management).

I feel bad for this review. It seems like the employees are pretty good here. The people in charge really dont care about their customers and lie to them. They pretty much lied about the airbag problem in my vehicle. This dealership pissed me off so much I got rid of my Acura

Sales is one thing, and then there is service. We just moved to California from New York, where the Acura dealership where we bought our MDX was great, and that was one element we were worried about with regard to maintenance. But we discovered that the Service Department at the Acura in Stockton went well above and beyond the one in Larchmont, NY - a feat of some note. I run hotels for a living, and I would be quite proud to have Michael and Jeff at my Front Desk, ensuring that our guests had the best experience possible from the moment they arrived and throughout their stay. Kudos to Acura for these two gents, and kudos to Michael and Jeff for their thoughtfulness, concern, comprehensiveness and follow-through!
Okay, I go to this place a few times to get my oil change cause I have an Acura, anyway I went to this place to get an oil change cause I had a coupon offer from them, when I took and show them the email I got, they want a print copy even when I have it on my tablet. They didnt honor the coupon which is ridiculous. The message even says print the coupon OR present the email to them, yet they didnt honor it, therefore I left. I told the rep that I will never go to this bad service ever again. They have lost a customer. I will make sure to warn my friends and family not to buy a car here or even do service here. The staff that I dealt with was rude. Dont go to this greedy and bad service for whatever reason. .
I was treated great. My wife and I were car shopping and Im an very glad we ended up there. We went to CarMax, Folsom and Elk Grove looking for our next vehicle but it wasnt until we got to Stockton Acura did we feel comfortable enough to make a purchase. The three guys that we dealt with were all fantastic. Highly recommend checking them out, Acuras are far better than I knew and even if you dont want an Acura they will go above and beyond finding whats perfect for you. We love our new MDX.

We were on vacation, driving to San Francisco when we heard a loud bang and the check engine light came on. We were on the cross town freeway near Stockton. We drove to Acura of Stockton. My MDX lost a spark plug and the engine was damaged. Acura of Stockton worked with American Honda and made all necessary repairs. They supplied us with a loaner so we could continue our vacation. My MDX is running again. The service writer (Jeff C.) kept me very well informed during the month long repairs. He was very accommodating when I would call or text him. The service manager Mark R. was able to get American Honda to cover much of the cost of my repairs. I live about 2 hours away from Stockton. I wished I lived closer so I could get my MDX serviced at Acura of Stockton.I highly recommend the service department for servicing your Honda or Acura vehicle.

Bought an rdx about 3 weeks ago. Heard a screw rattle in the steering column. Took it in. They at first didnt believe me and told me it was some leather rubbing against the steering column and would be fixed quickly. After dong a bunch of stuff and wasting half my day, they ended up finding an extra screw that the assembly guy dropped in the steering column while assembling the car. They wasted half my day, did nothing to reassure me that acuras are reliable, and did nothing to compensate me for wasting half my day at the dealership. Kind of sucks when you spend this kind of money on a new acura and the sales and service departments dont do anything to help you out. Dont buy a car or get your car serviced at acura of stockton
