First experience at Breezy Point. Staff and mechanics were friendly and efficient. Had two cars serviced and both were done in a timely manner. All the work I asked for was done and done well. Keep me informed along the way, no hidden surprises. In the end I felt they had done a very good job for me and was made to feel they appreciated the business. Was recommended by a friend and I would recommend as well.

Gary and his professional team took a car that I hadnt driven in years and got it back on the road for me like new and without damage to my wallet. I plan to bring them additional business and would recommend anyone do the same.

The technician called me to explain everything about the service performed, let me know of other areas in need of service soon, but didn’t push anything on me. Costumer service is by far the best Ive ever seen. Courteous and professional on the phone, in person, and via email. As for the service completed, it was timely, well communicated and I felt informed through the process. It was a little pricey in my opinion for what was performed, but I trust the work. I will be going back in the future for other service needs and will provide additional feedback.

Jules was great. I Live about an hour away and I was going to buy an 06 Silverado around the corner from breezy point that looked really pretty in pictures but I hadnt had a chance to go down to look at in person, but I had the dealer bring it to breezy for a pre purchase inspection and they really helped me dodge a bullet and avoid buying a clunker. The inspection was timely and extremely thorough even though I came to them somewhat short notice. The report was very professional and easy to understand. They also provided me with around 50 pictures to show what they found and correspond with the inspection report. I wish I lived closer so I could use these guys in the future. Great experience overall.

Went for emissions test.

So I ordered a brand new exhaust system for my vehicle straight from magma flow. Wanted to get it professionally installed. Shop told me no and that they don’t install customer ordered parts for a number of reasons. Unless you are in housing your own parts I don’t see what the issue is. Sounds like they don’t like the deal they are getting out of it because it’s less money they are getting for the repair. When you go to a shop and you tell them you need something repaired, what do they do? They order the part 95% of the time and fix your vehicle. This place didn’t even offer to look at it to see if the repair/replacement would be possible. Just a flat no with no logical reasoning as to why. Don’t choose this place. If you can’t even take a look at it you have poor customer service in my book.

Breezy Point Auto repair is located on Main Street Stratford, CT. I have been going to Breezy Point for all of my Car emission test. They are open on Saturday until about 1. They have you in and out before you know it. Fast and friendly service.I only needed them once to do some auto body repair on one of my cars. I had the car towed to them they worked with my insurance company to have all of the repairs done at that location. I never had to go back to them after the repairs were completed.

Gary and his crew have been maintaining my cars for years. Have always been satisfied.

I have taken three vehicles here over the course of the past 2 years. The staff is very helpful and courteous. I have done oil changes, new tires, brakes, trans fluid replacement, etc. I have always received quality service and repairs. I would definitely recommend them.

Called for a estimate and the guy wanted my address and thought this odd so I asked why. His reason and I quote I want to know how committed you are to having this work done uhhh if you arent willing to give me that then you must not be committed ok Im going to have to let you go Me thinking... WTF?!This is the strangest/shortest conversation I had with all the mechanics I called. Im new to the area and was looking for a local mechanic and these guys are close. Called Pastir across town got an estimate in 2 minutes and they have my business from now on.Never give your address to anyone that you dont know and its not needed for an estimate!

I bought a vehicle and wanted to be sure it was safe for my daughter to drive to New Orleans. I called Breezy Point because they could handle the Emissions and VIN requirements for registration AND because I was familiar with their reputation in Stratford for any needed repairs.My original contact was with Jules who was courteous, helpful and knowledgeable ! The car was scheduled quickly, they were sensitive to my timeline, the needed repairs were explained concisely, and the price for the work done was fair.David handled the required MVD tests efficiently and without issue!Ive never been more impressed with a service station and the staff and service provided as I am with Breezy Point. Lol.. $48 for a bulk oil change for a 4cyl car, plus I had my own filter, and they say naa we use ours.. guess why lol. Went to another shop, $25 without filter and $20 with.. what a joke. Wonder why all the bays were empty. On a Friday afternoon.. Damn what if I had a 6cyl and used synthetic psshh.

Courteous and professional service and reasonable prices. Had a clock spring serviced on my 2005 Taurus. The repair was completed the same day and the price quoted was the price paid, almost 50% less than the Ford dealer quote.

Courtious and speedy

I sent them a vehicle for an inspection before I purchased it. Because I live out of state, and wouldnt be able to see the car before basically committing to buy it, it was important to find someone I trusted to look at it. Their prepurchase inspection was incredibly thorough, and Jules sent me photos of the issues they found so I could get the dealer to fix them before I came down. They were very responsive and took time to walk me through everything in detail.

Horrible people. Got quoted 1200 bucks for a 400 dollar job. My axle broke on drivers side ball joint gave out on me while driving on the rode. Had car towed to them and after a couple of hours gotten a phone call saying I needed 3,000 dollars worth of work. YES YOU HERD THAT CORRECTLY. for things I new my car didn’t needed. I knew what was wrong with my car but just wanted to see what will they say or find. I knew my car needed new ball joint, axle and probaly a tie-rod cause it probaly got damage due to front wheel caving in and just giving out. The passenger side was perfectly find but to be on the safe side I advise them just to be safe put a brand new ball joint on passenger side as well. I was told no problem. Parts alone only cost 200bucks tops. Then after getting upset and telling them I know what my car needed they lower the cost to 1200 bucks. Right now my car is in Another shop getting the same work I new needed for 500 bucks. RUN AWAY AND DONT LOOK BACK.. if you have no knowledge of cars they would try to rob you blind..
