Blaze was super personable. He was quick and efficient.. while still being cool to sit and chat with while getting all of our needs taken care of quickly without feeling like he was rushing us out. Those things are important to me in customer service.

I went into the store for some guidance on my Tablet. The clerk, Blaze, was very patient with my lack of hardware knowledge and was able to work with my particular issue. In the course of the conversation, he mentioned a special on Samsung Tablets. It was too good to pass by, so I ended up making the purchase. He set it up for me and the full time in the store was about 2 hours. I think the poor man worked through his lunch! Ive been with Russell Cellular for a number of years and today pretty much clinched my continued loyalty.

My son and I stopped in to get new phones and were helped out by Blaze. Blaze was extremely helpful, patient and knowledgeable as he explained each step of the process as we went through it. We had a couple of issues with the porting and activation (on our end) but Blaze was very patient and explained what the issues were that we were having. We left with what we wanted and as very satisfied customers!

Alyssa was patient, descriptive, kind, and very helpful. I switched from AT&T, chose a plan, purchased a new phone & case, and set up my Verizon app all in under 45 minutes.I look forward to being a Verizon customer and associates like Alyssa assure me I made the right decision.

I had been to another Verizon store a couple hours earlier in the day with little help to be offered in terms of a satisfactory replacement phone. Stopped in at Russell Cellular and Alyssa was understanding and very helpful and got me set up with another phone after showing me my options and explaining that if they didnt have anything satisfactory in the store they could order one and have it there in 2 days. I left satisfied both with my phone and the customer service. Thank you Alyssa!

Amanda was absolutely the best. I was having such anxiety about getting a new phone. My husband passed away 2 years ago and the thought of losing my text messages of his would almost bring me to my knees in tears. Amanda and the entire staff at Verizon of Streator were all so caring and sympathetic. Once the process was over I immediately went to my sweet Patrick’s text messages and I was able to see his last words to me. Thank you Amanda and the entire staff. ❤️❤️❤️

Like any non-corporate cellular store theres no accountability. The employees are the definition of bad salesmen and the products are way overpriced. Also, because it isnt corporate there is little to no support for business customers. Like most non-corporate stores theres about 1 employee who knows how to deal with business customers so if you go when that person isnt there you are out of luck. Dont get me wrong, the staff seem very friendly. But that friendly attitude comes off as a front in order to make a sale. Each time I go in there they attempt to upsell me in a way that doesnt benefit me (which in sales is the only good way to successfully upsell).
