The customer service is horrifying. I scheduled an appointment online to have my vehicle serviced (routine check over) at 3:30pm on 09/06/2021. Upon arrival, two employees were chit-chatting behind the counter. I was met with the nastiest can I help you (no, not even a hello or an ounce of friendliness) while eyeballing me from head to toe like I was the biggest inconvenience. I explained I was there for my 330 appointment, the ( Im assuming) manager stated that she had no other appointments for the day. I thought it was odd, though I was rather understanding that things happen with technology but I wanted to make sure I was at the right location to make sure I didnt mess it up and as I attempted to show her my appointment confirmation she literally slammed her monitor around in my face growling that there was no other appointments. After that disgusting display, the other tech chimed in with an attitude as well, but was actually trying to resolve the issue (I think) when the manager again snapped you dont have time. Theres 3 other cars... blah blah blah. At that point I decided to just leave and was met with eye rolls. I wont be back. 0/10 Run far far far away. Discount Tire in Macedonia is much friendlier and very professional. Ill take my money there.

Purchased 4 brand new tires In MarchI looked underneath my truck and noticed 2 tired showing wireI called to make an appointment to replace the tires.Salesman stated my warranty was voided because of A Future repair at the time tires were put onVoided my warranty.This is why I will never go to any NTBWhy did he have me pay for a warranty when you already knew you will not honor it.Stay away from these corporate companiesThey operate with greed and careless if your stranded.Find a tire shop who specifically deals with jus tires.This way they cannot push extra work for other repairs.

Took our Q5 in for all new tires. It was last minute and they really took care of us! Devyn was super friendly along with the rest of the staff. I HIGHLY recommend them. To expect last minute service and everyone nowadays being understaffed we are super impressed. A++

Had a nail in my tire tread that needed patched and sealed. First time going here. They told my I had a rusty positive battery terminal and that I also needed to replace the battery all for $325. The battery is 4 months old. Wasn’t impressed being upsold first time being here LOL.

Went in for what I thought was a flat-fix. Informed that 2 tires were not wearing well and definitely needed to be replaced. Mechanics recommended that all 4 tires be replaced. I thought, at first a little excessive. But Karen at the front desk told me that my 2 tires that were 2 years old were still under warranty. She called the warranty dept. for my tires and got a significant rebate on my prematurely worn tires. So, I was happy with that and got all 4 tires replaced.After 2 weeks now, I am very happy with the tires and they handle very well. The ride is much smoother and quieter than my previous tires.I also called Karen to thank her for her great customer service, help and recommendations. I didnt feel at all taken by an oversell or upsell. She was honest and got me the proper tires for my car and conditions, thanks!

Got my brakes replaced there and when I went to drive the bolt on the caliper fell out along with the brake pad. when I went in they told me I would have to make an appointment and didnt even look at the problem.

I had an appointment at 10:30am got there and they told me I didnt even though I confirmed the day earlier that I had the appointment. They tried to overcharge me $79.99 for two tires to be installed? I had 4 installed for the same price in October.They took the entire day to get to my car. They didnt get my car back to me until 5:45pm this made me over an hour late for dinner plans I had.They also told me it needed alignment eventhough it had one back in October. This place is a bunch of crooks and unprofessional people. How do you not put in the system someones appointment. Even if you missed the appointment piece of this you should at least try and make it up to the customer and get their car done in a timely manner

Took over an hour for a simple oil change. Then proceeded to tell me that I needed over a thousand in repairs to my car. Little did they know that some of the work that they claimed I needed had already been done. When I said no, the sales person told the manager that I was cheap right in front of me. They wasted my time, told me I needed unnecessary repairs, and insulted me. They are dishonest crooks, run far away from this place!

Arrived to the strongsville location at 7:55 for an 8am appointment. I simply needed a screw removed from a tire. I waited 10 minutes for the lady to even acknowledge me. At 8:10, my car was up on lift and I watched the 2 guys socializing for another 10 minutes. I have now been here almost 1 hour for what should have been a very short, simple visit. Seems poorly managed. Wouldn’t buy from here again.

From what I can tell, the people are the most honest there. Theyve provided great service every time that Ive been there and they seem to do an honest days work. Thats the main thing that you can ask for from an auto care place.

Ive been here a number of times for tires across three different vehicles, and have always had great experiences. Theyve also been very accommodating to getting me in asap whenever Ive had a flat - only place I go if possible. I just had them mount summer tires to a new set of forged performance wheels, and they got everything done with zero issues and fit me in same day. Great place!

I was highly disappointed. I picked up a nail in my tire. Out of safetys sake I pulled in to get it fixed. Sadly, they wanted to pull my tire off, break the seal and patch and plug from the inside. This would result in a rebalancing fee as well. Not my first nail in a tire, and normally a $3 plug will do the trick. My fault for pulling into a tire store to get a hole fixed. I should have known they would try to pull every dollar out of my wallet they could.They were nice enough to air my tire up, and I left with the nail still in my tire. I made it home and will plug the tire myself. I think after I put another 30,000 miles on the tire with my plug and the tread is all but worn off, Ill drop that tire off to them so they can see thats all it needed.I understand for liabilities sake, they have to cover their own rear ends, but if the customer only wants a plug then the customer should be able to get that, even if they have to sign a liability waiver or something.By the way, I formerly worked for RMS and Steelastic, building rubber extruders and tire building machines. Im not uneducated about tires. A $3 plug will fix my problem, and I will drive all the tread off this tire!High probability of being taken advantage off here if you arent careful

I can always depend on Mario, the store manager and his staff to take care of me. Ive followed Mario from the Middleburg Hts location to the Strongsville location. Mario is honest, and trust worthy. He runs a tight ship, his employees respect him and it shows in their work ethic. Ive been a loyal customer for 5 years.

Pulled in there with a tire going low. They looked at it and said I had two punctures in the front tire. Then told me they had no time to take care of me. Thanks for nothing. Wouldnt even put on a spare. Wish I could give him a zero.

I brought my vehicle in for an oil change, tire rotation and fluid top off. When i got my vehicle home I noticed that there was no handling marks on the tires. Being winter time the tires were dirty and any touching of them would produce a mark. I also noticed the washer fluid was never topped off and my low tire pressure warning came back on.I called and spoke to my sales associate Anthony who confirmed with the mechanic that he overlooked these 2 items on the work order. Basically he overlooked 2 of the 3 items on the order??? Anthony told me to bring the vehicle back in and he would have the 2 undone things done for free. really-for free-I already paid for the service that was over looked. How is this for free??I brought my vehicle back during the morning when business was extremely slow. I again met Anthony at the desk who did not say more than a few words to me. After waiting for over an hour my vehicle was finally done. When i went to get my keys from Anthony he never said one word to me. He basically handed me my keys and walked away from me with a rude attitude.I have spent $10s of thousands of dollars at this location since they have been open. After this last experience and the rudeness of Anthony I no longer trust them with my vehicles and will no longer be returning to this location.

Mixed results on several times that I have brought my vehicles to them. On the first couple occasions, they were fantastic. Friendly, good pricing, good service. Which prompted me to return with additional work. I dont know if they have changed personnel, but the last service they performed, I have had to return 4 times to have them fix what they were suppose to fix (power steering pump and lines). Now on the 5th trip to have their master tech look at it.. they have replaced every inch of the power steering including pump, lines, reservoir, and fluid and it still groans when turning. Hopefully they will get it right this time.

Anywhere but here trust me. I have come here for the last 5 years and today is the last visit. Not once in the dozen plus times have they finished close to a promised time. I had my brakes done last time and the right rear locked up. I would love to know where else to go.

Just went here for a second appointment (first was an oil change, second was to fix a leaky tire). I had a bit of a wait before being seen by a staff member the second time around, but service was fast overall, the two different employees I worked with were pleasant and approachable, and it was an all around excellent experience. After receiving poor and downright rude customer service at the Jiffy Lube up the street when going in for an E-Check (just kidding, they didnt even have customer service there) I was happy to take anybody EXCEPT for them.Despite the numerous poor reviews for this place, I personally had a very pleasant and above average experience getting my oil changed here. I made my appointment online, walked inside and was immediately greeted and helped out. About 35 minutes total was my wait from walking in to driving home.I was honestly most pleased at the lack of oil-change shaming (I was embarrassingly WAY overdue for an oil change) and how not-pushy they were for adding on any additional services; all they asked was if I wanted my tires aligned or not. I said no and they moved on without a fuss.I plan on going back to this NTB for the my next oil change.

They did a good job and reasonably priced service. Only negative they said they would get to us first thing when they opened and we called 2 hours after they opened and they said they still couldnt look at it for another hour so we had to cancel an appointment. It would have been better if they just told us the night before they couldnt even look at it till mid morning so I could have cancelled day before. Overall good experience

Sales helped pick out a quality tire, but a rocky start since my appointment was lost or not scheduled properly. Tires were there and the staff was helpful. Got the job done as expected and picked up by lunch.

My tire started leaking near closing time and NBT was able to get me in and fix it before they closed. Service manager Mike was very helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process. Would recommend NBT any time.

Went to NTB today with a 12pm appointment. Got there at 11:45 and turned in my car. Asked for an oil change with blended synthetic oil, tire rotation, change the cabin air filter, check the brakes and a general 90,000 mile check up. I said I would wait for the car. IT TOOK THEM 3 HOURS TO DO THIS!!!!! Then I find they gave me a full synthetic oil change (and charged me for it), did NOT rotate the tires, and did not change the cabin air filter. This took 3 hours. Poor service, poor listening, poor job. I have been a customer for 20 years. They lost me today.

I only go here maybe once every 18 months. I always try to book on the website and it is always a horrible experience. It either wants a password reset where the link they send just never actually offers the reset or since I gave up on the reset not working it will not let you in as a guest. In both cases this is a bad user experience. Had to call them to schedule. Then when I got there it was like 15 minutes and the guy working there could not get stuff entered either and about six people backed up. Other than that the service itself was fine.

NTB in Strongsville provides excellent & professional services! I trust the staff with my car completely, especially since being a female, mechanics tend to take full advantage of us ladies.Thank you for everything!

My elderly mother had been coming to this location for years. She was a loyal customer who simply trusted the word of the mechanics. Every time she would come in for an oil change, they would lay a list of repairs that needed to be done. In actuality, they were completely unnecessary and were just a scam to get money. Additionally, my mother had one of her tires replaced. Next day, she was driving and that tire FELL off!!! She had to get it to NTB where they charged her to put the tire back on!!!!! Not only did they rip her off financially but they didnt care about her well being to ensure that the tire they put on was installed correctly. Do not go here.

I came here in 2005 at Medina location when it was on Rt 18 to get new tires, got them but next day was babysitting and driving kids to school my tire came off! Rolled down a country road my car ended up in a ditch on its side ! Got kids out of car seats while on its side got out safely, THEY FORGOT TO PUT THE LUG NUTS ON!!! three of the tires, ALMOST killed me and two children. Came back to get just an oil change last week had to make an appointment wich is fine, but the manager is so rude! He Gave me attitude the whole time he was talking to me ended up just hanging up and going somewhere else.

I was pretty disappointed in the one and Middleburg heights location.I had a suspension work for my front end and I needed brakes in the back with calipers after an oil change I was told.they wanted to charge me to do the complete job $2,100 so I took their estimate and went down the street to rainbow Mufflers off of West 130th and they charged me 1200. NTB in Middleburg heights will never see my business again. Not even an oil change. The only NTB thats ever gave me a fair price was the one in Strongsville off of 82.

Came in with a flat tire 10 minutes before close and the manager was gracious, helpful and prompt getting us back on the road again. We were back to driving with two new tires and an oil change within 30 minutes.

Had a flat tire on Sunday and we took the tire here to get plugged and they said we needed an appointment and that they would need to take the tire off the rim. Really I just needed it plugged. Five guys all standing around doing nothing! I’ve bought plenty of tires here. No more! Ridiculous.

Customer service was great and job done quickly.

This place is trash. Took well over an hour and a half to do a simple oil change. Plenty of techs on hand with only one other car in the shop and all techs sitting on their thumbs. Never coming to this location again

The prices for their tires are very competitive. It is the only place that I will allow to work on my truck if I am not doing it myself.

We were travelling through OH with a 38 fifth wheel on May 25th, when we had a tire shred on the unit. The closest town to where we were didnt have a tire company listed so we drove to Strongsville. The didnt have a tire the size we needed at the first place we stopped, but the helped us call around until we found NTB. They had a tire and would take care of us!. Even though every baby was full and it was very busy, the manager, Mario, mounted the tire and got us back on the road within an hour of our arrival there! Top notch service for 2 weary travelers and our dogs! Thank you so, so much! Marlene and Bill

Do not go here! Could not even handle a simple oil change and scammers. Couldnt get the right oil filter and ended up blowing oil all over my engine bay. Then they tried to tell me I needed rear brakes at 40,000 miles anyone who knows anything about cars knows the front brakes are used primarily and youd have to drive pretty crazy to need rear brakes at 40k. I inspected and had another former mechanic inspect my brakes and they were plenty good. Lots of life left on the pads. Anyone who wouldnt question that and trust mechanics at this location would have wasted hundreds of dollars. Unacceptable establishment especially when there are so many other options for service.

Im really disappointed with NTB in Strongville, went there with no problem with my car, after three hours of waiting, got out of there with four new tires and a bented rim, now my car drive very shaky when Im driving on the highway. Big disappointment!!

Convenient location. Frustrating that tire appt was setup through their website add we showed to find out they dont see info that comes in through website. As a result we were lucky they had the tires we ordered and had a 2hr wait.

Would give 0 stars if I could. I took my vehicle in for an alignment. They told me I needed a WHOLE NEW FRONT END! Inner and outer tie rods and uppwr and lower ball joints! I had just had my front end checked. I took it to my mechanic I needed 1 tie rod and a sleeve. Wont ever go back!

We have used a sister company of NTB for years and they were honest and protective of your property, as well as customer friendly. Unfortunately this is not the service we received at NTB on Royalton road in Strongsville at all!We went to this location to get our winter tires put on two different vehicles. There was someone at the desk when we got there and he did get both vehicles in. He was nice enough, but repeated himself several times, (still not a big deal, just time consuming) and was letting us know about the possible issues that could come up, that might need fixed and will cost more money, such as our vehicles needing an alignment if it shows it was off and tire pressure kits. When my husband picked up the car, they said that the alignment was off would need adjusted. My husband works with a guy who is a mechanic (he doesnt live here), so, he text him the results of the alignment test to which he replied that it was such a minute amount that it could change just by sitting in the car. We declined the alignment. The next car they did put in a new tire pressure kit, which is only eight dollars, but when we talked with the guy from their sister company, he said it would have been do pretty soon, but didnt necessarily need to be changed out right now. THIS HAS RED FLAGS ALL OVER IT! They are trying to find anything to make your visit more expensive! It is very disappointing! If they were honest with us we would have taken our vehicles back there for everything that they have the capability to do, but now we will never go back!The other thing that really made me mad was how they put our other tires back in our car. I had picture frames in a Target bag sitting in the back seat and they just put the tire right on top of it! All they had to do was move them to the floor or put the tire on the floor! Also, they used dirty bags and then set the tire on on my leather seat!What more do I need to say, besides take your vehicle somewhere else if you want to protect your property and your wallet!

I got a flat right outside work a few months ago. I was able to change it to a spare and make the 30+ mile drive home. I called NTB - Strongsville on the way and the manager Jordan said no problem and got me right in to put a new tire on. The whole process was seamless and Jordan and the mechanic who worked on my car were extremely professional and very helpful and nice. I really appreciated it on a day that could have turned out alot worse.

Took my car in to get a tire fixed or replaced. of course it had to be replaced... came back the next morning to pick my car up and the brake lines blew out They gave me the keys to my car and expected me to drive off their property with failing brakes. They did not assume any kind of responsibility for what happened between the time I dropped off my car and picked it back up. Do not go here unless you plan on watching them do their work from start to finish to make sure they do not sabotage something else on your vehicle

I needed tires and an alignment on a fairly expensive car. Im always very uneasy when taking it to a shop for the first time, but after speaking with the manager, Mario, for a few minutes I was put at ease. Hes such a genuinely nice guy and took every opportunity to offer help. They got the tires mounted, but unfortunately my car (recently lowered) would not fit on the alignment rack. Mario tracked down another store that had a machine that would work and gave them a call to make sure they could fit me in that day. The store he referred me to was in Middleburg, another NTB, and they were equally awesome.I would happily come back here at any point. Im fairly well educated in cars and all things mechanical, and never once did they try to up-sell me or get me to buy something unnecessary (although I did buy tire stems, which may have been unnecessary, but theyre cheap and its not a bad idea).

There is no customer service. I had a 5 pm appointment to get new tires. I came back after dinner at 6:30 pm and they hadnt even started on it. They didnt even think there was a problem with that, didnt apologize. Needless to say, I took my car and left. What a huge waste of time. UPDATE: WENT TO COSTCO THE NEXT DAY AND GOT A MUCH BETTER DEAL - AND IT TOOK THEM ONLY 1.5 HRS TO DO IT, START TO FINISH.

They are bunch of liars they quote you a cheap price on the phone when you come in the store. The price they quoted you on the phone is different after they have completed the service. They are miss leading.

Tire prices are pretty reasonable at all NTB locations but beyond that it is a fairly annoying place to go. The staff tries to upsell on everything and I have learned that if the mechanics there begin to touch your vehicle in any way beyond tires they tend to screw something up. The best way to handle going there is to get tires installed ONLY, avoid additional services, and you will fair just fine.

I have been dealing with the Strongsville NTB for several years and always find them to be honest and willing to work with my schedule for service. I have never experienced an unpleasant visit!

The gentlemen in Strongsville handled our crisis repair professionally & courteously, & it wasnt even a retail sale! Because of this stores actions, I wouldnt hesitate to recommend any NTB.

Came in with a leaky tire ..was told I could wait 3 hrs or schedule an appointment for the next day with instant service. I scheduled the appointment came in 5 min earlier..it took the girl at the computer literally 15 min just to check me in ..I told them just to change out the one tire i wanted nothing else. After sitting in the waiting room for exactly 1 hr ..i was called back to be told of other issues with my vehicle and i was expecting to drive away and they had not yet even changed the tire i came in for so i had to wait in the waiting room another 45 min . So thats an 1hr 45min to do a 20 min job on a scheduled appointment. Plus the Service writers were rude

I would never go back to NTB, unless I want to get scammed. I went because my air conditioning wasnt blowing cold air. They told me I had a leak in the compressor and they tried to tighten it but it was still leaking and needed a new $800 compressor plus labor. They also told me my right front spring was broken and that it needed to be replaced and if your going to replace the right side you better do the left side too so they are balanced. Total estimate came to close to $2000. Keep in mind I have a Infiniti, I guess they thought I had the money to burn. I went to walmart and purchased a can of refrigerant with a leak sealer. Its my second season and the air conditioner is still blowing cold air. Later I went for service and had them check the spring and they said the spring is not cracked and is fine. So....you still want to service your car at NTB?

This place is absolutely horrible. Took my car there Tuesday to get 4 new tires and they had to keep my car till Thursday. They said my tire rods were so bad they couldnt do an alignment, so here I am on a Saturday taking my tires off to fix it and they are fine. There is absolutely nothing wrong with them. Of course when I went to pay they tried to charge me for for one. NEVER WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THEM. North olmsted NTB is so much better. Not once have I had a problem with them, but this strongsville one is just trash.

I wish I could give this place more then 5 stars!I was traveling on the Ohio Turnpike from Maryland to Detroit by myself when everything started shutting down and I was stranded.Thankfully this NTB in Strongsville was open on a Sunday and were able to replace the alternator.From the moment I walked into the facility, everyone was above and beyond friendly and they knew I was traveling by myself and wanted to make sure I was able to get back on the road. I didnt feel like a customer, I felt more like a member of their family.THEN....... a week later when I was returning home to Maryland, my battery gauge needle was ALL the way to the right. I was close enough to the NTB Strongsville facility to quickly stop in and check it out.Again, they couldnt be more hospitable and accommodating. Turns out it was just the gauge going bad and I drove away confident I would make it home safely.About 3 hrs later I was getting gas and realized I left my purse at their facility..... UGH!!!!When I called them they found my purse and the next day an employee named Hazell Hayes brought it to FedEx to send it back to me.Hazell Hayes even offered to pay for the shipping and I could pay him back once I got my purse in the event FedEx wouldnt take credit card over the phone. Who does that nowadays in a world where not too many people trust others!!So not only did I feel this facility was professional..... they were also friendly and kind! I wish they were close to me here in Maryland because I know where I would take my car from hereon!And if they ever read this post, thank you from the bottom of my heart!!UPDATE: I just received a call from Hazell Hayes asking whether or not I received my purse.What great people!!

They would not warranty my Interstate Battery because they did not sell it to me I dont understand the giant corporations but yet they treat everything like a small business whats the sense of having a national company like Interstate Batteries using a national company like National Tire and Battery and then making me go back to the place where it was purchased?
