I had 2 prescriptions. One of which my insurance covered and one they did not. The one covered by my insurance was filled . What I believe happened is the CVS pharmacy saw that my Medicaid would not cover my other prescription, assumed I would not be able to cover it, and only filled the prescription that my insurance covered but here is the story.I was told my prescription for my mental health medication was filled. When I came to the pharmacy it was not. The first person I spoke with in the pharmacy drive thru said that one wont be available until the 28th(3 days). When I asked why she said it was because insurance would not cover it until then. I explained that people can pay out of pocket so that made no sense. I then went inside to talk to someone and the guy in charge said he didnt fill it because I recently had a 14 day prescription filled. I explained that I lost all my whole purse and I had to go to urgent care to get seen. Urgent care sent my prescription to CVS. He said I should have called in and l let them know about me losing my purse. He also said hed do it again if that ever happened again. CVS should have let me know there was a hold on my medication so I could have rectified the issue before running completely out. They showed no compassion and understanding about my medication being for mental health at all.
The store and pharmacy overall are good. No complaints about the store part - staff is always friendly and helpful and the store is always organized and clean. The service from the pharmacy side, however, is very inconsistent. The pharmacy techs are always willing to help, but there’s one pharmacist who always seems to have an attitude - which has impacted my opinion of this location on more than one occasion. Compassion and patience go a long way.
If I could give zero stars I would. I went in early this morning to pick up my husbands prescription before work. There were only three people working, and while the pharmacist was pleasant and greeted me warmly, the two other girls were using vulgar language and just carrying on as if in their own private world. It wasnt until the pharmacist mentioned I was there for about the fourth time that the blonde begrudgingly came over and her first words were what do you want. If not for the fact my husband needed his medicine, I would have left. It seemed my presence was an annoyance as she was completely rude and apathetic the entire time. Of course the second I was done she went right back to her coworker and started laughing and conversing again. What made it even worse was the fact that there are signs everywhere saying to wear a mask, and only the pharmacist was wearing one. Yes the other two had ones on, but they were merely chinstraps. If people are required to wear masks in healthcare facilities, why should the pharmacy be any different? I am honestly considering changing pharmacies after this experience.
Kennedy @ Godwin blvd. was very helpful. She took the time to aid me in finding press on nails that fit and even complimented me. I appreciated her taking the time to ask me about my day and I could see and feel her smile from behind her mask. Thank you Kennedy, your co-workers should take notes!!
Why do you have an antivaxxer giving the Covid vaccines? I just left there and while I was in the store I heard her tell 3 people including a pregnant woman not to get the vaccine. She needs to keep her personal opinions to herself.
Toisie was so helpful helping us find everything for our Instacart order and was so friendly and kind
Literally I went to pick up a prescription and it was the most challenging process ever so they couldn’t give me my Prescription because rite aid had already filled it funny part is my doctor had already told me that they had FULL ACCESS TO RITE AIDS DATA BASE AND ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS PULL IT AND HAVE IT FAX OVER INSTEAD SHE TOLD ME SHE COULDNT REFILL MY PRESCRIPTION BC IT WAS AT RITE AID I WAS LITERALLY N THE DRIVE THROUGH CRYING YOU THINK THEY WOULD HAVE JUST HAD IT FAXED OVER NO seems like they are to lazy and don’t care about other ppl well being.don’t come to this cvs for prescriptions these women that work in there don’t care about you obviously because I know they can have things like a prescription fax over
Very clean, open floorplan, very friendly staff. Had a prescription to pick up and it was ready within 10 to 15 minutes of leaving the doctors office. Bathroom was extremely clean, actually had a baby changing table in the mens room. Very happy with my experience!!!
Poor customer service skills. The sales associate at this location named Amanda was very rude. I asked her about a product and instead of helping me find it, she said she did not know what the product was and that it’s most likely discontinued. I assured her it’s not discontinued I just purchased the product last week. The product was moved to another section. Instead of choosing to help me, she continued to stand behind the counter on her phone and not do her job. Poor way to represent the company.
Highly disappointed with the pharmacy. No reason for the pharmacist to give attitude when all that was asked is if insurance was entered in the computer or not, especially when I was speaking with the technician. Dont assume that we are all naive when it comes to how the process works.
