Highly recommend this location and its sister location, Mike Tates 99 Tire & Auto. Went in for an oil change last weekend and despite all of the service bays being occupied, was in and out in less than an hour. Staff was very respectful, professional, and knowledgable and prices are very reasonable. The lobby/waiting area has a water tower, coffee, plenty of magazines, cable television and plush leather sofas, as well as a Roomba vacuum perched in the corner. I have taken my Acura here once in the past and would happily return again in the future. As an added bonus, they also report to CARFAX, so your service records will always show on your vehicles history report.

The guys here take care of my car well. Been using them for my Lexus oil changes ever since they have opened at this location, and also a few major repairs along the way. They also have changed my brakes. Im happy with their services and recommend them.

I take all my cars to him for service whether it be my pickup for work or Sunday cruiser. When you are a customer at Mike Tate’s you can be sure that the staff will have the customers best interests in mind. They have NEVER recommend a service or repair that was unnecessary and Mark always makes sure to let me know of maintenance that may need service soon (ie: brakes and pads can last a bit longer before replacement). Mark also texts or calls to give regular and consistent updates on repairs or anything else that may have come to his attention. When I need a ride back home the guys at Mike Tate’s are always happy to drop me off. My tire pressure light illuminated on my CRV. I went to Mike Tate’s Telfair Tire & Auto. This was a first visit for me. I told Mark that my left side (driver) tire has a nail in it. He told me he’ll take a look at my vehicle and check my tires. Mark was professional and courteous to check all tires during my visit. Upon inspection of my tires, Mark came back and stated there was no nail, but my tire pressure was low on all my tires at about 25 psi. I had mentioned to Mark that I had recently done my yearly inspection (August) at the dealership and the tires checked out fine.Mark explained that due to changes in weather, air pressure in tires may change suddenly. I still believed that there was a nail stuck in my front tire. Mark got in my vehicle and turned the steering wheel, so he could see what I was talking about. When he moved my car just enough to see, I pointed out what appeared to be the shining top of a nail. Mark confidently stated it is a previous plug repair on my tire. Sure enough I had repaired my tire about two years ago. Mark knew as they work with tires all the time. I looked closely at my tire and it wasn’t a nail after all. The tire pressure light on my Honda was reset, Mark’s team had equalized pressure to 32 psi on all tires. Aside from a smaller metal screw (no issue) that they removed from one of the back tires, there was nothing wrong with any of my tires.I then proceeded to pay for their service, and Mark stated nothing was done and I’m good to go. I insisted on placing something for the tip jar. Mark stated they were happy to check and thats all.In today’s service village, our experiences stay with us. I’ll remember Mark’s knowledge, professionalism and the time he took to check my tires.Thank you very much Mark! Excellent customer service from you and your team!

Not happy at all. That is all I will say. Spent over 5000 some place else in the end. Would have been more if Tates had done the same thing. Much better places in Sugarland.

They were very helpful and repaired my car in 1 day. They gave me a ride home and picked me up when it was finished. They gave an explanation about what was fixed and the estimate was the same as the bill. Everyone there was very nice. Highly recommended.

I take my tires here to get mounted and balanced because I don’t trust other places. I had a minor issue on my last visit. I contacted Mark (manager) immediately and he took care of it promptly. He arranged everything and was very professional. I’ll continue going to the Telfair location. Very good customer service.

Professional and fast. Ask for appointment to avoid waiting. Very comfy seating with HGTV to relax and wait while your cars being worked on.

I visited for the state inspection, and was told that my plate light bulb must be replaced first.Although their asking price is 10 times higher than the item price, I still agree to pay in order to pass the inspection. In the end, they asked me another 60% higher and told me this was because they didnt expect the repair to be more complicated. This is not the worst part until I found out that they broke my AC blower and tried to hide the problem through the maximum AC vent.

Stopped in after grabbing Starbucks right across the street (which is really convenient for me) and was able to get my state inspection and oil change done in a timely manner, very comfortable couches and very polite employees. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 10/10

My dad went to this poor quality auto shop for a oil change and tire rotation. The person who worked on his tire left the bolts lose and my dad almost lost his life because of this persons carelessness. This business needs to hire people who actually know what they are doing. Never go to this store for any auto needs.

Fantastic experience! I had never been here before, but I badly needed to get an inspection and an oil change, so I decided to stop in. The employees were SO CORDIAL and the waiting area was spotless and wonderfully comfortable. I believe these guys are honest, and the service is simply top-notch.

This is my first time at this location. It was a very simple process. They fixed what was needed and I was out withing 45 minutes for an oil change and break fluid. I appreciate the kindness of the staff and making sure my car was fit to drive .

The information I got from Audi was wrong. So the change in the breaks and the disc are supposed to be 10 inches and they were 8.5 inches.

Used based on a recommendation. I will happily recommend them to others now.Updated...Been a few times now and so thankful to actually have a shop that does excellent work and cost significantly less than the Infiniti dealership. Thank you Mark!!

My tire is constantly losing air, so I brought the car in, turns out its a nail in the tire. Very friendly crew. Good wifi coverage in the comfortable waiting area. I went in and out in 20 minutes. I will definitely use them again.
