Equilibrium Tuning has absolutely transformed my Audi S3 from a nice daily driver into an absolute riot to drive! I have purchased all my MQB parts possible through them, as well as two custom tunes which have really made my car a nice daily driver when you need it to be, but also a rocket when you get into boost! Customer service has been stellar as well. Ed is always answering questions, and Nick has been VERY patient with me on my tunes. I always recommend EQT to anyone, MQB or not since they tune various platforms!

EQT is the worst company ive ever dealt with when it comes to communication.if you have any issues with Custom tune, good luck getting a reaponse in a week, its fine when its going well but not when your getting EPC and CEL.EQT claims its cause they are super busy making sure they take there time and do quality tunes.but you can find Ed spending quality time in the forums in back and fourth rants with people. that time can be better spent emailing current paying customers back. EQT will tell you its being addressed and getting better its same excuse every year. Communication Remains the worst

I heard about EQT on some forums so started following them early 2018 and after 6 months of research I knew I had to go EQT. I don’t regret it. I got a stock turbo e85 custom tune by Ed on my Mk7 R. EQT knowledge of the MQB platform and many others is one to respect and follow. Customer service was also 👌🏽. Personally if you have a Mk7 I strongly recommend checking these guys out!

If you do your research, youll find that EQT is by and far the best tuner for the VW/Audi/MQB platform. Using a handful of the other companies out there, EQT has offered the best overall product, including customer service. Their knowledge of the platforms and time spent perfecting their software and components surpass the competition. If compared to women, EQT would be the perfect chick! (Down to earth, no drama, plays hockey, has tattoos, smokes a little weed). Thats the perfect women. Thats the scale that EQT is on.

My ‘18 Golf R has never been happier …or faster. I ordered the OTS Stage 2 tune, both 93 and E85 versions, got my Autotech HPFP internals installed, and went for it! Coming from my previous tune, it’s night and day. The top end power gain is unreal. Power comes on in a deceptively smooth manner, so the car is faster than it feels. Drivability is better than stock. Even the idle is smoother/quieter, the car revs more freely, and it feels more cohesive/healthy overall.I could not ask for more! Perfect tune, amazing community involvement/support, and ongoing revisions put EQT at the very top.

I bought a stage 2 tune for my gti mk7 during the boost season sale (November 2020) and even though they were swamped with orders and questions from people, they still made time to answer my questions and help me along the way. Patrick sent my tune in the early am (like 3am) and when I woke up it was like Christmas morning for me. I talked to Ed when I had questions and he was kind, very prompt with response even though they were extremely busy, and very professional. The eqt team has so much knowledge and I love hearing their responses because I always learn something new about the platform. Since Ive been tuned Ive had no issues at all. My car feels brand new, very crisp shifts, low engine oil Temps, no knock, awesome throttle response, and every time Im driving around I cant help but have a grin on my face. 10/10 would recommend.

These guys here are great. Got my first tune(stage 2 pro tune)from Ed on my STI 6 years ago and not one check engine light or engine issues. Car ran great until almost 90k when I got a bad coil pack. Went ahead and did full bolt on with FP blue turbo on flex fuel. Ed did his magic and got me to 400+whp/428wtq and the car drives much better and smoother. Wouldn’t trust anyone else to tune my car. As for their service I was helped out by Michael who was always there to answer my questions to get me ready for the tune. Techs there are great and really knowledgeable. 2018 7.5 GTI EQT stage 2 E30 tuned.These tunes are incredible! Even off the shelf tunes. I bout an accesport through cobb and ran the cobb stage 3 map for ahwile with bad throttle response, knock numbers etc. I switched to the eqt maps and it makes a WORLD of difference! Smooth throttle response, higher psi and almost no knock on wide open throttle. I recommend eqt to anyone on the mqb platform because they provide high quality tunes and insanely good customer service!

When I purchased my mk7 gti back in 2019, I was in the hunt for a tune. I came upon eqt, and it was relatively new and not a lot of people knew about eqt at that time. After months and months of researching tuners, i decided to go with eqt because they offer cobb accessport for monitoring, and their tune was what everyone else says it was. They really put the time and effort to satisfy my needs, and it astounds me how big eqt went over a year. Ive been running stage 2 93 for a year and just got e85 on file to add as my daily. I ordered a eqt vortex xl in early march, I had many emails back and forth with Dave and each and everytime he answered within the day with as many details as he could. It took 2 months to get the turbo but Dave made me aware of all delays and once it came in it was well worth the wait. The linear power delivery of the turbo is amazing for a hybrid turbo. Thank you so much Dave for everything. I highly recommend eqt if its just based on customer service your looking for I cant really think of a better experience.

It did what it was supposed to do. Easy directions and now am able to deliver the eqt sauce without a check engine light.

Great stage 1 tune for my MK7 GTI! Had the map emailed to me within 2 days of paying (they sent it at midnight - so they are working hard for you).

With my personal experience they were not very impressive first After I tell them the kind of car I have any kind of easy you I have so I could see if they would be able to tune it the guy kind of laughed and said you didnt build the engine but you have a Turbo and want to tune it? like whats the point of that is if hes better than me. 1st not everybody enrich has a shop like you 2nd someone start somewhere in order to give where you read he was my 1st car build 2nd AEM website says that you are AEM vendor is if you guys to AEM but yet say that you dont that was after you told me OK you would do it but it would start at $1200 then I waited 6 months in called back which was the other day and now all the sudden you guys cant do it could you can do AEM and on the kind of car I have I guess its not high quality enough for you even though I was gonna be a paying customer Or Thats not very professional because you have all these expensive cars there In my cars not in expensive car you gotta start somewhere you guys really will make people Either give up on cars or like what you did to me just makes me laugh in see the kind of people you are instead of acting like big shots that think turboing my cAr Without building the engine the way you guys thought it should be done. OMoral to the story remember you guys were once in a place where I am unless you were always some spoiled rotten kids that got everything u wanted . The team is great and Im running their base map in my golf gti and I cant wait to do a custom etune in the spring. Even the base map is smooth and feels strong.

Request to cancel order within 30min of placing and the shop refused to cancel until several chats online then didnt refund for two weeks . Also at first asked for 5% restocking fee and still charged a fee. Avoid it and go with a well known tuner.

My 03 wrx wagon came in for a timing belt service & oil pump inspection and compression/leakdown test the following day. Was surprised the timing belt service was completed the same day, as Im familiar w/ waiting on parts being delivered from local vendors & dealerships at my workplace. Bonus: I even got my old parts back in the boxes the replacements came in - it was pretty awesome (Im that guy that wants to see what would cause a part to be replaced). Initially, Id wanted to have the compression/leakdown test to be done the same day & was prepped to leave my car for a few days, however, there was an opening the following day.EQ is a local enthusiast-run shop w/ a dyno. Even though the goals for my car arent exactly what most enthusiasts are after, a modded car is still a modded car. Its nice to get real-world answers to questions about the car from people who literally have the same vehicle as you.Even though my car is mostly a daily driver, 10/10 would return

I had been having issues with my cars tune prior to coming out to EQT and within one visit issues were resolved. Had been given the run around by a few other reputable shops, I heard nothing but good things from friends about Ed and patrick. I also bought one of their custom turbos yet to be installed and cant wait to have Ed tune my car again.

Terrible experience. I will never go back there. I was lied to repeatedly and given the run around. I ended up spending 4 hours there for a 5 minute ecu tune along with coming from out of town driving 3 hours round trip. Thats the short story. I cant see wasting anymore of my time on these people. Incompetent, dishonest, shifty, inconsiderate. Take caution, go elsewhere.

I brought my 2015 Sti to EQ Tuning for my first Pro-tune in December of 2015, as I installed numerous aftermarket products and knew to get everything running properly and safely a Pro-tune would be in order. The company in which I purchased my products from had EQ Tuning listed as a Gold Rated Tuner, which couldnt be more accurate. When I called I got an appointment within a couple of weeks, and was asked to leave a $100 deposit, as i was driving from a couple hours away. When I arrived I was greeted by Patrick who got me all signed in, and shortly after Ed came in to talk to me about what I was going to be using the car for. I let Ed know I planned on doing some Autocross on the weekends, so he suggested making tuning the car on the conservative side to keep temperatures down. Ive done some Autocross since then and the car ran great, while keeping temperatures down. The car is also my daily driver, runs fantastic, and I couldnt be happier. Also there were a couple other options for tuners that were closer to me, but I would strongly recommend driving the extra distance, as it was well worth it.

Ed and his staff catered to all my subaru questions and executed the upgrades with absolute detail. couldnt be happier
