This is the second time I am experiencing issues with curbside pickup. Few Months ago, for the first order they cancelled without no notification. For second order, I had to make 3 phone calls to curbside number and it took them 1 hour to give an update. Asked me to come back without mentioning the proper amount of time needed. Ran some errands, came back in an hour and it’s not ready yet with a wait time of another 45 minutes. Had to cancel the whole order and return due staff mishandling of orders. The whole purpose for curbside pickup was to save time but it completely wasted my evening. Very bad customer service. Please do not order curbside pickup here. I would not return to this store. Slowest ever!
Customer service isnt something this store even begins to possess. They rarely answer the main phone line. They only occasionally answer any department lines. The in-store pickup keeps you waiting for at least 30 minutes. The curbside pickup takes 30-90 minutes, and is rarely correct. And none of the employees seem to think any of this is an issue.
Only 2 check out isles open. Our girl was very professional, sweet and patient. This store on Dorchester Rd is definitely nicer than the one in Tanger, and cleaner
Definitely an older location the layout is not up to date. But nothing wrong with a little dinge if it does its job. 😀
3 times in one trip my 80 year old mom asked help for certain products in different departments. Each time she was told look in these 4 aisles. She doesnt walk so good anymore and this is how Walmart employees treated her. I do my best not to go to Walmart. Sad so sad they cant help an old lady find an item
Pretty typical Walmart experience of most employees being indifferent, stock being hit and miss, and low low prices. I appreciate Walmart for what it is. Extra star due to encountering some friendly staff and it not being really dirty or anything like that.
Went in to get a razor mouse and saw one with the price displayed at $49. Got an employee and when he was getting the mouse out and then said yea this is $80 not the $49. Then he continued to scan all the mouses to make sure the prices were right. He didnt even offer to honor the displayed price because its not our fault they arent pricing their items right. We just walked out and went to Target.

The young lady at customer service was awesome. Very customer oriented. This is a very clean store. They also had shopping carts, you did not have to go out to the parking lot to find one.

Curbside pick up is a joke, employees are rude, customer service is non existent. Went to pick up two curbside pickups and they were both canceled without any warning.
Ordered groceries to be picked up between seven and 8 o’clock. At around 845 I realized I never got the text notification that my groceries are ready. I called and the persnickety rude young lady who answered the phone proceeded to tell me that they were approximately three hours behind but then they went home. I asked her how I could find out if my groceries would be ready tomorrow and she said she had no idea how to know that. At that point, I asked to speak with a manager. She put me on hold and the call was disconnected. I called back. I waited on hold for about five minutes and then the call was disconnected again. I called back. Someone picked up and put me directly on hold. At this point I’m wondering how I can get a refund or if my card had been charged for the groceries that I never was Notified if they were ready or not. I called back again, all together nine separate times over the course of an hour. They must have caller ID because they wouldn’t answer my call. I called the corporate office and after 20 minutes I was put on hold so that the young man could get us on a three-way call with a manager at the local store. He put me on hold, I waited for two or three minutes and then someone answered and asked me ‘how can I help you’. I am extremely frustrated at the Customer Service level or lack of customer service that I received this evening. I was ridiculed and laughed out on the telephone by the young lady that I spoke with at the local store. I was told that my groceries will be ready and no one ever shopped for them but then they went home. Not only were these workers unprofessional, they were downright rude and obnoxious. I will never shop at Walmart again. I’ve spent tens of thousands of dollars between my small business and personal Expenditures but never again! If I could give you -10 stars I would. Disappointed is an understatement
Went for razor blades..no employee around. Asked 2 associates and was told they were off the clock. Went to self checkout and the associate made a call for help. 15 minutes later I Called the store, from within the store for assistance. Heard the call again for assistance. 15 minutes later we were helped. Customer service at this store sucks. I will never go there again

Customer service was nice I give them that. Unfortunately a lot of shelves were not stock properly tons of missing products from the shelves not much to choose from and be honest the clothing selections sucked big time. I definitely was not impressed and I dont see myself going back anytime soon
Uber driver trying to deliver groceries to your customers. You say the order is ready three times I arrive for pick up and wait time exceeds what my company suggests . Why do you send for drivers saying an order is ready and its not ? Thats a terrible waste of time . Im recommending all my walmart customers change to Target. You should really be as efficient as they are . Seriously. You can do it just as well if you want to.
This Walmart has everything you need. Just get ready to be on your feet. Supercenter means the whole world will also be there. People you have never seen before will be there. And you won’t see them ever again.
Ordered groceries on 9/12/21 was set to pick up 9/13/21 between 5-6 Pm. Got a email saying it wasn’t ready at the start time. Got another email said it was ready to be picked up. Arrive and there is no parking spots available. So I waited a few minutes. Got my parking spot and put what spot I was in on the app. Two young ladies came out and said they are understaffed and they couldn’t do my order. Asked if I would like to cancel or pick up the following day. Said I would be back. Went back around 2:30 no spots open again so I decided I would come back. Went back at 6:10 pm. Same two young ladies came out and asked what time I was suppose to pick up the day before. I said 5-6 they then tell me I’m sorry it’s been over 24 hours since you placed the order. So now your order was cancelled. I was not told the day before I had to be there within the 24 hour. So now I have no groceries and no money to get more since my money is on hold. This location has gotten horrible within the last 3 months. I have been ordering from this location since Walmart started doing the pickup. Sorry to say I will no longer be ordering from this location again. This is the 4th order that has been cancelled and it takes 2-3 to get your money off the hold. I have also had to sit and wait for them to bring out my order for a hour previously. Stay away..
Walmart Grocery Pick up.... Horrible service. I could have went in and shopped my list twice. Order was ready late, as of now have been waiting 25 minutes for them to bring my order out asking with 5 other cars. If it wasnt paid for already I would leave. Pick up here NOT RECOMMENDED.

This was the worst service ever at pickup I waited 2 hours over my pickup time my meats were warm and frozen food thawed!! I have tried to contact customer service and line stay busy but I am going to keep trying to get some kind of satisfaction.
Now this location has everything, and if you cant find something you can always check Walmart.com to see if you can ship to store or home. Features a full grocery store, McDonalds, clothing, jewelry, electronics, toys and games, furniture, outdoor, hardware, yard, automotive, sports and a clearance section to boot. At the front of the store you can find a vision center, customer service, water jug refills, check cashing and more. Step outside to lawn and garden and find everything for use around the house and yard. Happy shopping!
Theres nothing on the shelves to buy you go in there and aint nothing that you want so I dont know Im going to have to start going to a regular grocery store

I don’t know what has happened to this once nice store…. but it is now a dump. Went today around 2:00 and couldn’t find anyone to help unlock the razor case, not one employee. At the self checkout registers, there were 5 employees just standing around talking and laughing with each other…. not doing anything….. this store has really gone downhill…. empty shelves, no carts…. they were all in the parking lot… trash all in parking lot…and don’t tell me it’s due to Covid…. because other WalMarts aren’t like this…. did this store get a new manager or something???? will never go back👎
Walmart Supercenter on Dorchester Road is a really good place to shop and a quality Walmart location. This store is really well run and managed and is dependable and there for you when you need it. this location is well stocked and I have always found exactly what I was looking for every time that I have been here. The staff here is very helpful and knowledgeable for a Walmart. The grocery and bakery section here really stands and has a really good selection of items. I like to come here during off hours when it is not crowded and can do shopping quickly and this location works very well for that. This Walmart is a quality Walmart.
If you’re gonna catch corona it’s gonna be from these nasty behind bathrooms. Maintenance is obviously either non existent or extremely slack. Pretty sure the same poo has been smeared on the wall at please a couple weeks as it is still here. This place needs ore than just a mop and bucket it needs a DEEP CLEAN.
This store never has anything in stock, has very limited staffing, and the people who do show up are obviously agitated. Walmart, pay better than (COVID) unemployment and you won’t have this problem.
I have to give it low grades because of the deli. The person who was working there walked past us 3 times and ignored us. When she did acknowledge us and asked us for our order she proceeded to cut meats for another order. There was no one ahead of us. So we left. This is prevalent for most of Wal-Marts Delis and their help.
I know, who goes to Walmart on Saturday afternoon? I did and it really wasnt bad. I knew what I needed, to got it and did the self checkout. Bam! Mission accomplished under 10 minutes! Perfect
Customer service can be absolutely great!! Then the next day it can be absolutely horrible. Its hit or miss and ever since covid not having a single Walmart in Charleston thats open 24hrs anymore is beyond me... Especially having them all closing at 11pm on the weekends is craziness....
Easy Getting in the store But difficult waiting in line to check out! Shop on line is ok, but they dont list everything I need on line app. I Love Walmart I use work for them in GA, before a car accident took me out for a very long time!

I went to the back area lawn and garden the price of something didn’t ring up as it was on the shelf so I told the cashier that wasn’t the price and I didn’t want it if it was ringing up for that price, it was three people standing back there and not one tried to check the price for me but instead the cashier voided the item. Just my opinion but I really feel like if I was more of their preference they would’ve went out the way to check the price. That was unprofessional and bias because all customers should be treated equally. I feel like if they have time to stand around and have a conversation then they could’ve had time to do their job and at least check the price but again in their opinion I wasn’t worth that even though it’s part of their job

Still waiting on my refund for an order that they lost a week ago. The order was supposed to be picked up between 2-3 on 9/13. First the order was delayed. I get a message at 3 saying the order was ready. I get there at 3:30 and Im waiting until a quarter after 4. Somehow though, I got a message at 3:50 saying that the order was picked up. I call them and they say the order was lost. They didnt offer a refund, I had to ask for one. Even then, we call a few days later and they say the refund wasnt processed. They probably wouldnt have told us if we didnt call.We dont have $80 to just give away. That money is supposed to be for food. We still need our money back.
Never able to find what Im looking for. The stock on hand is always limited. Associates are either untrained or unable to answer simple questions. Employees dont look very happy. Unfriendly atmosphere
This Walmart is very well laid out. I easily found all what I was looking for. They have a great kitchen appliance area. The store was very clean. The floors seemed to have been recently waxed. They have spacious aisles, so it is easy to move around, even if there are many other shoppers. The produce looked good. The restrooms are kept very clean.
Customer service is excellent. I asked a associate were something could be found. She looked the item up on her device and escorted me to the exact location. She did not walk away until she was sure that I had found what I was looking for. She went above and beyond. I only wish I had gotten her name to mention her in my post.
Pretty easy to get in and out. Just isnt always stocked completely. They do have very good pricing.
Horrible grocery pick up service at this Walmart! Wish I could give zero stars. I waited for 4-5 hours for my groceries. Also, waited an hour after they messaged me saying that they were finally ready. When I got home, I realized my roast was missing. I tried calling and explained to the lady over the phone, the situation. She told me rudely that the only way I can get my roast or a refund would be to come into the store. I usually order from Harris Teeter but thought I would give Walmart a try, since I just signed up with emails. I did not even receive an apology for my order being so delayed. Save yourself a headache and do not order groceries from this Walmart!
Disarray is the order of the day at this Walmart. Keeping items stocked is a real problem. Nothing has really improved in this regard. I think the only plus for this store is that most of the, staff is friendly and polite. The only saving grace, that and it is not 15 mi away.So thank your employees everyday!
Although I only waited 30 minutes past my pick up time, I waited a total of an hour.. My pick up time was 6-7pm and I arrived at 6:30. I didn’t receive my items until 7:30. I did notice that this location was either extremely understaffed or extremely busy. Not only that customers were parking in the designated pick up parking spots to go inside and shop. This means that me and other pick up customers had to drive around in circles until somebody left or park in a undesignated pick up parking spot. This ultimately confused the pick up employee causing her to go to the wrong car multiple times. This whole experience was extremely frustrating because I made this pick up order thinking it would be much quicker than me going inside and shopping, unfortunately that’s not the case. I really hope that they are able to get some more staff for this location, I can’t imagine how frustrating it must be being the only employee working the pick up service while also being confused by other customers being inconsiderate. I tried leaving this review when it popped up after receiving my groceries but after many attempts it seems Walmart Groceries reviews are having technical difficulties....
Its like any other Walmart, but one time I was tracked down and physically bombarded by a huge muscular undercover security guard, who accused me of only ringing up one of the two pairs on shoes in the self check out. But ACTUALLY I really did ring up and pay for both pairs of shoes. Thanks for wasting my time, macho man
Again it was another horrible experience at Walmart. I asked a associate or something is and they point to the far part of the store and tell me somewhere over there I called out for help from two different associates they looked at me and then turned the corner and walked away. I blame management. The super Walmart on Dorchester road should just close down
Curbside pick up is not working well. They cannot seem to employ enough reasonably organized employees. I have to assume perhaps the store manager is ineffective I waited for my order for 90 minutes The couple of folks working asked for my name at least 3 times Finally they came out and sent everyone away. Said to come back tomorrow

Had most everything I was shopping for but there were a lot of empty places on shelves. Didnt have any of the leaf waste bags for cleaning up the yard. Nor did they have the brand selection they usually have for a number of products.
This experience was awful! There was only one register open and so many issues. One register couldnt be used because the belt didnt work. Another couldnt be used because the scan was broken. Wic couldnt be used because the system was down and they were short employees because they didnt want to come to work. Two employees were openly discussing this in front of customers. I usually support Wal-Mart but this nonsense was just downright ridiculous today. Management was useless and didnt even try to help fix the matter at all. They just looked dumbfounded. I dont usually leave such a nasty review but this was the worst shopping experience Ive had in a long time!

I used express to have my groceries delivered. Even though there was a hold on my bank account, the system glitched and my order was lost. I reordered to have everything delivered in the morning and it was cancelled in the middle of the night because my bank info couldnt be verified. Doesnt make sense. Now my 2 month old doesnt have enough formula for the day. Never again!
This store is pretty good, clean and staff is nice, but Walmart app to scan items etc...will not work inside this location, no cell service!
All back to school bins empty or had trash in them.. only found 24 ct. Crayons and colored pencils for the scavenger list..sad!
Shopped on the wrong day of the week cuz shelves are kind of bare but its a whole lot better than the Walterboro Walmart.

It took 45 minutes, going from the front of the store, to the back to electronics and then back to the front again to complete a simple return. All because it was a phone. Supposedly, ALL the csms were at a meeting at the same time which makes absolutely no sense to start with. Have always disliked walmart but this gives me new reason to switch to another store for good now. There are always too many employees there and hardly any actually working. They should be construction workers how they all sit around and talk while one person does any actual work.

Employees are far and fre between which i can understand due to the pandemic. But when you are finally able to ask a question they have no clue and dont offer to call someone who does; or the say let me check never to come back. 2 stars represents the products available within the store only, otherwise a 0star without question!The staff are less than courteous, the internal security personnel r over zealous, it feels like Im shopping in a prison store! Why even be opened if ur staff are rude to people, the management doesnt care, & u dont feel comfortable as ur followed by security everywhere u go! Id just bought a $500 TV from them ¬ only were the staff rude to me as I bought the Smart TV, I couldnt get any of my shopping done bc they had to walk me to the front w/the TV(vs the staff bringing the TV up front for the customer (me)& allowing me to finish my shopping! I was forced (if I wanted to get that TV anyway)2 follow the employee that carted the Flat panel TV up front, & put me at a self pay station, this was actually the only time I got assistance from an employee that coincidentally was a white male, of whom showed me how to run the self pay system bc Id never used them b4; he didnt have the greatest bedside manner but did patiently help me with the checkout (without a roll of the eyes, shaking of the head, or under the breath statements that seemingly flow regularly out of most entry level employees that have obviously not been trained correctly, or managed properly...bc its a rule thats older than I am & will exist long after I die which goes something like The customer is always correct & IDC about being correct, I care about how Im treated & poorly would be the best way to describe how I was treated if given 1 word to explain. Its pathetic! I for one will most likely return the TV bc of my experience there(and even tho I paid w/my debit card(same as cash), theyll probably find a reason that they cant give me my money back to spend elsewhere as I havent even opened the box yet bc Im infuriated by the customer service I received & managed to get back in real quick & bought a handful of groceries but as my hands filled, I saw 2 carts that I went to grab one of bc I couldnt hold everything I had picked up, & wanted to buy more when I heard Thats my Cart from an employee on duty, of all people!¡! Then in the very next isle I walked down, I saw a phone that was on & obviously belonged to someone else, as a person thats lost his phone b4, I know how much it can set a person back when they lose a phone; so I grabbed the phone & was going to stop Everything I was doing to walk it to the front & turn it into customer services so whoevers it was could retrace their steps& find it! 2secs later I am being accused of trying to steal an employees phone by that employee?¿? Turns out they were using their phone while working & stashed it between some items Im presuming to not be seen by her supervisor; I said ok good so its ur phone, I was taking it up front incase someone lost it, but was cut off by No you werent,then I unloaded on the person accusing me & told her I was going to tell management (I didnt though bc I dont want to hurt anyone in anyway).. but just the thought of her talking to me that way has left me sour to Walmart as an Entity@all. The TV remains unboxed, I wont be shopping there for any reason at anytime in my future, online or at the store! & I havent mentioned what happened in 2009 as its taken me that long to be comfortable w/going back to the store almost a decade later. & bc Im limited in characters here as to what I can write vs what I cant, it was found that they had no just cause in 2009 4 what they did to me & all charges were dismissed after reviewing the videotapes. I WILL NOT SHOP in a place that treats u like a criminal the minute u walk into the store... Its gotten even worse since I finally allowed myself to go there again a couple years ago, after my last experience, there will not be another except to return a TV I actually like & want to use & keep, but will not bc its being returned to the store at the 1st chance I can get someone w/a truck/SUV to put it in 4 me 2 return it. Thatll be the end of Walmart 4 me forever, online, or anywhere in the world!

Spent only 40 minutes this time waiting on my grocery pick up that was ready for pick up this time. This is a very consistent experience for me at this location. I never have a problem at the neighborhood Walmart just down Dorchester but sometimes my wife accidentally places the order at this location. This causes many marital arguments that could be avoided.
All of the salespeople and manager are so friendly thats what I like about the Walmart they dont mind helping you

Very busy but the cashier was very fast and friendly. It was refreshing to have a cashier thats customer friendly instead of someone whos working because they need a job and its just a pay check to them. With those type people it shows.

I do Uber Eats Pickup for this location and this is the second time I’ve had an issue with how staff is just a complete mess up… idk whats going on back there but its not hard to bag items such as drinks and muffins also isn’t hard to lend a helping hand to those who do you a great favor in business… tired of this location and honestly don’t plan on doing pickups for them and I’m informing Uber of this mess as well… very displeased with how they treat us too… they just push the buggie at you and walk away…. The manager in pickup needs to regroup her or his team and get those heads on right or this location is going to lose Uber in a whole.. enough complaints and you could be boosted from the platform… get it together I’d hate for Uber to dispose of this location…and stop giving us ripped bags!!!!!

Fail! Where are the managers in the store to control the crowds? This store today was unmanageable! In prep for hurricane Dorian I went to this Walmart because it’s so close by and I never had issues- until today. Oh. My. God! Out of control. While I get a hurricane is coming people have zero respect, no manager can be found to ask if they had back stock of water, paper towels, etc- and when you ask an employee they just keep on doing what they were doing when you came up. I’m sorry but aren’t y’all suppose to help? 🤷🏻♀️ I thought that is what employees do! With that said the store was trashed, super crowded (again to be expected) but at least have cashiers at all registers and managers around the floor for when needed. Come on!

Friendly employees and prices are great. Love the shop and pick up especially when its very busy and no shopping carts available.
