No one was up front to check us out and the self-serve had an error message. When we asked for help we were told in a rude tone that Ill be there in a minute! She refused to check us out herself saying that corporate wants 90% of customers to self-checkout and she needed to stay on the floor. This is after she was upfront behind the counter checking out and talking to someone else. Horrible service! I would like to give no stars.

It is so rude for the cashiers to be on the phone while waiting on customers. Customers should be acknowledged. I was not. On top of that arguing about schedules in front of customers and then complaining to customers about workplace drama is beyond unprofessional.

Used to love this CVS, but not anymore. Do not get your prescriptions from here. It used to be close to me so I went there for convenience, but since I moved I’ve got to drive 10-15 minutes to get to this location. I always call ahead of time to make sure my prescriptions are ready so I don’t waste a drive. They always waste my time anyways. There have been three separate occasions where I’ve filled a prescription over the phone & they’ve told me it’ll be ready at the time I want to pick it up. Only, when I get there, they tell me I need to wait 20-30 more mins for them to get it ready. This time, I finally had to draw the line. I called yesterday for a refill on my birth control, and the lady on the phone told me it was being processed and would be ready for pick up today at 9AM. I got there today and they told me they were OUT OF STOCK of my birth control pills that I’m set to start taking TOMORROW. Absolutely ridiculous to be told over the phone that they have it and to get there and have to get it transferred to another pharmacy. There’s always miscommunication between what they tell you over the phone and what they say when you get there, so don’t even bother calling to be honest.

My wife had a prescription sent to this pharmacy. But this CVS sent the order out to CVS specialty pharmacy.We never got the medication. I called the specialty pharmacy,2 times.The first time I called I was on hold for ONE HOUR! I think this is a warehouse that is run by a drunk person

Incompetent! I’d been trying to add a person to my pharmacy file for days and I called up there today to have my address updated since I found out that was the reason and a lady (wish I had gotten her name) in pharmacy took my name, number, address and acted as if she was gonna update it. Only to get to the pharmacy later that day (to pick up the meds)to find out she never even updated it! there’s no way I always have issues with this pharmacy. Sad smh.

I do alot of reviews, because i enjoy giving praise to those who deserve it . However, this is THE WORST PHARMACY EVER!!!!!!!!! I do not know why i keep coming back here ...oh yeah because Rite Aid closed and this is the closest one that will take my insurance. Heres a pic of a light wait at the drivethru, i wish this was the only issue, but its not. Every single time i come here it is a cluster f#$% ! The pharmacist try to tell u, you cant fill your prescription, even though your within the 25 days of doing it. Then they tell you its done and you come to get it and it takes at least 25 mins everytime! And thats if it is really ready, most of the time itd not! I have had it with the long waits and the lack of communication at this Pharmacy! They need to hire more people or something. My suggestion is to find any where else that they take your insurance. Oh, yeah and if you try calling theres a 20 minute wait on that too, or they just dont answer!

It seems I always have an issue with coupons that CVS has issued to me. I asked the young lady to get a manager for me, she said she was the manager. But still couldn’t get it together.Not only that I’ve never been asked about my other shopping bags from another store. I walked in with my Publix shopping bag today and as I was checking out the cashier asked me what about the items in my bag! Well the items were two bottles of champagne from the liquor store I went to before Cvs! I felt like I was being accused of stealing, and told them they could watch their cameras if they felt that way! Don’t make a long time paying customer feel like a thief!! Especially in this climate When people are watching how they spend their money. Champagne is cheaper at the liquor store anyway!

CVS Pharmacy on Old Trolley Road in Summerville is one of my favorite drug store and pharmacy combination in the area. I am always impressed with their level of service that they offer everything that they do for their customers. The store is very well managed and organized and consistently gives a pleasant shopping experience.

I have continually had issues with this pharmacy and continued horrible customer service each time I’ve tried to resolve said issues. I’m also sick of getting calls saying my prescriptions have been filled just to find they haven’t. Worst CVS I’ve ever used.

Not only did I sit on hold for 23 minutes but once they answered they were very rude to me n then to my doctor who also was on hold 19 minutes. Im driving 8 miles out ofmy way instead of going to this CVS which is 1 mile away. Total miles to other pharmacy 16 miles. If I went to this one 2 miles. I like CVS, just not this one. Beware!

Hopefully you don’t have a sick child in need of breathing medication. You’ll be waiting all day. Called in at 9:00am. Was told it would be ready at 12:30. I get there at 1:10. Oh it will be anouther 20-30 minutes. Cool, I’ll drive around and wait. Come back 40 minutes later. Oh it will be another 20 minutes. Why waste my time with my sick child in the back seat who is having breathing issues. It’s now 2:45 and I still don’t have it. They are stupid slow. Hire more staff if needed.

1st run in was when my wife, who has the flu went through the drive in to not spread the flu around and the woman working the drive thru was complaining she was there instead of at the counter where she was busy at. SHE HAS THE FLU and was not being selfish like you. 2nd run in was when I went to go get the medication she stated the same thing to me and told me the drive thru was closed even though everything on the outside said i was within their time limits. She the proceeded to talk really nasty things about the other cars in the line WHILE I COULD STILL HEAR HER and she said stuff about my wife when I COULD HEAR HER. When I brought it to her attention she ignored me. What a horrible pharmacy.

Jenn Wingfield was the pharmacists on today. She along with pharm tech was rude and disrespectful over not being able to hear over the speaker instead of coming to the pharmacy window and assisting my needs. I was told it’s just the two of them and they were doing other things at the same time. I’m really going to miss Mrs Nita, she was one of the only pleasant souls in that pharmacy. I will be transferring my prescriptions I’m not paying you to give me attitude!! You guys need to humble yourselves and treat customers with respect and dignity.

Horrible service. Had a prescription called in for a particular medication. Instead of filling what was ordered by my doctor, they filled it with what they had in stock-a completely DIFFERENT medication (not even a generic, literally a different medicine altogether) because it was CVS preferred. You cannot just give people wrong meds because its preferred by them, it could kill someone!

I ordered same day photos. We went in to check on status after the time they should have been completed. We were told that they have been out of print paper for 5 days and not sure when tbey would get paper to print again??? They did not send an email to me or transfer my order to another store?

They do not communicate well!!!AT ALL....Its always a problem when picking up prescriptions. The pharmacist will tell you that they have something ready and when you get there its not. The communcation is horrible. I would rate them a zero if I could.

This has been the 3rd time our prescriptions havent been ready when we were told they would be. I will NEVER use this location again! My husbands doctor called them in at 10:30. He called to see when they would be ready. The staff told him 1:15. I get there at 5:30 and was told I would have to wait 30 minutes. The staff did not seem to care that we had been waiting on these medications.

This was my first time going to a CVS in YEARS. I always had pretty poor experiences when going, so I avoided them like the plague. However, my period decided to surprise me a week early and, to boot, started me off on a heavy day. I was in near tears having woken up to this and wound up at this CVS, it being closer than Walgreens - which I usually go to.I got these pads a friend recommended and went to checkout. Only to find out I was 50¢ short. I was about to cry (yay hormones). I told the man working I had to go get the cheap pads because I was short. He asked by how much and I told him. This God of a man covered for my 50¢. I couldve cried right then and there - I was so thankful.I told him I didnt mind getting the cheaper pads (which I did, but I hate causing issues) and he reassured me it was okay. I honestly wanted to just hug him and thank him a million times.After that experience, this CVS has my business. I wish I was coherent enough to grab his name because he deserves every thank I could ever give. Its been three weeks and Im still thankful he did that.Thank you, Mr. Sir. You just saved this chicks soul.

Infuriating. In searching for a difficult to find adhd med, I was repeatedly assured that they could order this med and that it would arrive in 5 days. When 5 days went by and I called them (not the other way around), I was informed that they didn’t receive it, but could try to order again. I requested that they check with their distributor and make certain they could order. They said they could not do that. I insisted that they could, and miraculously, they were able to perform a search and determine that their distributor did not, in fact, have any of the medication. I spent another three days searching for it (one week of no meds for my child), only to finally find it at another cvs. When I arrived to fill, this cvs had not deleted the prescription that they were unable to fill, and thus my insurance declined payment. 😡 in the process of getting it fixed, but just go ahead and avoid this nightmare

We have been using this pharmacy for 15 years. On the 14th of July my husband brought my prescription over to have filled on the 31st day which was legal by sc dhec rule and the head pharmacist met him in the isle and told him that she would fill it at 3pm. It was due to be filled that day. Not a day early nor a day late. He told her to me and tell me that because he wasnt going to get his A** chewed out because they keep doing this to me and she could call and get her A** chewed out by me. Now they will not fill another script for either of us. I was unaware until today that he said that and had a scrpit called in. I saw that it had not been filled and called. The pharmacist told me what happened and I apologized to her but she said she was not going to fill our prescriptions no longer. Well, adios amigos. They were one of the BEST pharmacicies out there. Sad to leave but I guess everything comes to end.

Moved from the CVS at the corner of Bacons Bridge and Dorchester to this store, this store is a lot less busy. I have no issues with them. I will say their Hold music is quite annoying but never have to stay on hold for long.

Store is located conviently, usually have everything I go for. One of the lady asst. managers is not friendly at all. Shes very short and rude every time I go in. Not impressive when youre the face for the store. It is a turn off and I have started going elsewhere when I need something.

Second month in a row Ive been shorted pills. Last month, the girl who answered when I called told me it happens all the time at this pharmacy and the pharmacists dont care -come in and theyll have my pills ready. Tonight, I was told to ask them to count them before I leave. Have to make a second trip again to pick up my missing pills.

Pharmacy here sucks, they always seem unorganized and frustrated to deal with customers. If my Dr calls in a prescription I have to call in afterwards to get them to fill it and it always takes hours. My wife and I stopped going here even though we live a few blocks away.

My wife was in the ER for about 5 hours on Christmas Eve and wasnt going to be able to make it to the closest CVS to our house so she decided to stop at this CVS and was there half an hour before closing time and was unable to get her prescription filled for the 10 month and 2 year old with the flu, customer comes first is their slogan, LIARS!!
