I bought my 1st brand new truck here from Jake, soon after my wife bought a used car from jake aswell no fault to sunset or jake but she hated that car! Me too because it was a ford🤭 but Jake helped us to get her in a brand new CHEVY equinox. This was probably the easiest car purchase I have ever made. The salesman was inviting and funny and put me at ease. Going through finance was a breeze and they even were able to get me a better rate before I left. The extra features are only a plus to the great treatment I received. 10/10 recommended
Staff were nice and very helpful in getting the car I want. The only gripes I have is buying an expensive car thats oil is seven months old and only has 400 miles of life left in it. The passenger window seal is shot and looks to be superglued back on ( I should have noticed that at the dealership). A single key fob for the vehicle. And there was a decent amount of garbage under the seats.

Staff is friendly and service was fine. Only frustrating part is the online booking. You can select services online only for the staff to have no clue what you are there for. Dont bother opting for a 3 year 36k service. According to the staff, I dont even know what that is. This has happened to me twice here. Its like they arent told what items a customer can select online. They took care of the oil and basic inspection but the services indicated online are far more comprehensive.
Service people are friendly, knowledgeable, and service was done quickly. I was given details about our vehicle and then on my way. Though the waiting area is small, it is clean. I would give 5 stars if the coffee items were free.

Top rate dealership! Have been purchasing vehicles from Sunset Chevrolet since the early 90’s. Staff is always friendly and courteous. Because of Sunset Chevrolet, I have stayed with the Chevy Brand for 30 years.
I would not waste your time here.They basically promise you lies to get you to buy from them.We tried to work with them, they ran our credit, we walked away, then a month later ran our credit again WITHOUT OUR APPROVAL to get us an “accurate” number, which was not the case… AT ALL.We requested that only specific banks run our application, and they agreed to that, then a day later get notified of multiple different credit applications. My credit score has gone down 10 points from them doing their dirty business.Also, pay attention to your credit applications because I noticed that one application had a purchase price completely different from another application.I can’t stress to you how frustrated we are with this whole process and regret not going to a bigger, more professional dealership.Will never recommend Sunset Chevrolet in Sumner to anyone. Ever.
There was an airbag problem indicator that came on for about three minutes. They traced the problem to the passenger side airbag. Lubed and secured the connections and to date there has been not problem. The cost was very reasonable.

Scheduling a service appointment for my vehicles oilchange and tire rotation was easy for me, it always is.The folks at the Sunset Chevrolet service department were friendly and considerate too. The service rep, Biran S., confirmed what service I was actually scheduled for, and he let me know approximately how long it would take.Good customer service. 👍
This dealership is greatly overpriced (guessing that it is due to their “Lifetime powertrain warranty”), which is useless to most people, for who keeps the same vehicle forever and/or never move. Salespeople that I dealt with were not very knowledgeable and were very misleading. Sold me an SUV that was “AWD”, but actually wasn’t… they did take it back after I figured out it was only FWD, and put me into a different SUV that was ACTUALLY AWD, but the deal ended up costing me an extra $1,000 than it should of! I definitely would recommend looking at other dealerships before buying a vehicle at any of the Sunset dealerships. Please learn from my mistake.

I took my car in to have a/c looked at and door handle lock. Jake said a/c compressor was covered by extended warranty not handle. I called warranty and they told me it was. So after that was cleared up Jake said to bring car back after parts came in that will take a week and he will call me. His call never came. Three weeks later I called him and yes parts came but handle was going out that day ( because he forgot ) to get new handle painted, that would take another week and he would call to make appointment to install. Two and half weeks later he calls. Yes car was repaired but not on the time line that I see acceptable and to my surprise I had to pay 100.00 for the paint . I was not expecting that when warranty was paying for the two things is was there for.Not happy ! Looking to sell the car. I paid for life time oil changes but prefer not to go back to sunset Chevy.

Very disappointed with General Motors for not standing behind their products. They have an obvious and well documented design/engineering shortcoming concerning their sunroofs. I do appreciate the dealer helping by footing half the bill. It appears the technicians did a good job with the exception of all the greasy finger prints and smudges they left on the headliner, visor and pillar cover.I’ve purchased three brand new pickups with sunroofs and two of them failed! Not a good track record!Thanks for listening
Dont buy from here. They lie and cheat you. They will tell you add-ons will be included in your loan and then call you after you had the work done wanting the money for it. Just stay away.

Happy with the car we purchased, but very poor communication. Communication is what makes or breaks good customer service, which is why Im giving Sunset 2 stars. We had to wait 2 weeks to get our car, with us having to call in for multiple times for updates. The sales person we worked with went out of town & didnt pass our sale onto anyone. There was also a part delay, and again, we had to be the ones to check in on its status. All of this was communicated to the Sales Manager & two other Sales Managers and all they were able to offer was to book our future Service appts for us. Time is money, and we wasted a lot of time reaching out for routine updates that the dealership should have owned communication on, and yet, were not getting anything back for that. Sales team aside, Im at least happy to share that the Service team who actually worked on our car recently provided good customer service.

My fiance and i drove 3 hours from Salem OR and it was worth it! My salesman was Hayden who helped me every step of the way and genuinely wanted to help find us a car. I admit Im not always the easiest person to deal with anymore being burned so many times in the past but I felt like I knew evey step of my deal. We also had a great time and was helped with a little negotiating from Vanis Daniels. I looked for months for the right car and deal and when I was able to get a better car and was about to give up, they made it happen.The finance Gentleman did push hard for a warranty I didnt want but my fiance did get BUT I realized the way he set up our financing I understand every dollar of it and if I didnt get the warranty he wouldnt have been the 90% of salesman and slipped it in there.We will be driving back again for my fiance to get a truck.A big thank you to my boys over there and thank you for helping us find the car of my dreams!

Worst experience ever.They advertise a life time warrenty at ANY certified auto shop! This is 100% false. You must use them or the warrenty is no good. Per their advertising I took my car to my local preferred mechanic and they played the game with the warrenty company of doing many different things to diagnose the transmission being shot. Only to be told afterwards when it was time to pay out that oh, your are not authorized to work on the car if it is under warranty. It must be the dealer. So they pick up the car and stick me with a huge bill for everything they (the warrenty company) told the mechanic to do. Now over a week later and me calling to find out what is going on they tell me my car has voided the warranty and I have no coverage at all.Their radio/tv/phone/web advertising is fake and only a ploy to try and get more customersDont get me started on their lack of calling to keep me informed of what is going on with the car. In june I had a different issue and they had my car for almost 3 weeks telling me my car would be done on a certain day and a week later not being done. Multiple phone calls by me constantly checking status that were never returned and the list could go on...Just a FYI I bought at the Chevy location but all the TERRIBLE service is at the Ford location

I went to Sunset Chevrolet to buy my 2006 k2500 HD because of their lifetime power train warranty. The truck was modified prior to my purchase, it had a 6” lift, aftermarket exhaust (I found out later the catalytic converter was not functional), and evidence that it had a tuner on it at some point. I knew I was paying more than blue book but was ok with it because of the warranty. I had multiple repairs done with no problems for a few years until the rear differential went out. The cost was high enough the warranty company sent out an inspector, my claim was denied and my warranty was suspended because of the lift, lack of catalytic converter and a missing receipt for a transfercase service. I talked with sunsets service manager (who was helpful) he informed me I would have to install a new catalytic converter and find the receipt for the transfercase service. Ok no problem but I wanted to confirm with the warranty company that if I did that my warranty would resume, they told me that it would not, the lift/ suspension would also need to be returned to stock. I informed them that the lift was on the truck when I bought it, they said that they trusted the dealers to only include eligible vehicles so the dealer would have to deal with it. I again called sunset where they informed me that they had made a mistake, they have a deal with the warranty company to covered lifted trucks but mine was sold to me prior to their agreement. From there I asked them to supply me with a new warranty and they said they could not. They said my only option was to trade in my truck for a new one eligible for the warranty. I told them I did not want a new truck so they said there was nothing else they could do. Although the service manager was helpful I cannot give them a good review. I should have had $34,000 in coverage and only got under $10,000 worth of coverage. They admitted to making a mistake but would not make it right only referring to the missing service receipt as the cause of lost coverage. This is irrelevant considering the truck was ineligible for the warranty in the first place. Shady operation, in fact I have heard of multiple similar complaints since I ran into this issue.

They offer lifetime warranty and oil changes. They tell you they have a vehicle in stock. They advertise to contact them for big savings and they dont advertise the MSRP. DO NOT BE FOOLED! The lifetime stuff I have no knowledge of. The MSRP is not the price, right now they are charging (for any pickup) $5,000 OVER MSRP due to scarcity. And the salesman I spoke with tried to offset that with the lifetime offers and the tax savings on the great trade in deal he wanted me to take (carmax website basic bottom evaluation). These guys are pretty gimmicky and I caution everyone to be cautious. If you dont need to buy, wait a year and buy when the inventory goes back up and dont get hosed.

I bought a 2021 Silverado crew cab. I have 3,300 miles on the truck and I have a bent pushrod and lifters collapsed. Now the catalytic converter is bad and being replaced. Neither of these things should happen after only 3,300 miles of city driving. Even though its covered under warranty Ive still had to pay over $300 out of pocket to cover insurance on a rental while still paying my truck payment and insurance on my truck thats been in the shop for the last 3 weeks.Might have to check out the Washington state lemon laws. By the time I get it back on Monday they will have had it for 24 days.

Decent experience until they sell you the car. They requested a document after the purchase. I sent the document the same day. A month later another person called and told me they never got it. She said she was told by the finance person who had originally asked me for the document that he had asked me several times for it and I never sent it. Complete lie. He asked one time and I sent it the same day. I asked that Scott (finance person) call me and explain what happened and never received a call. I also emailed Scott and never received a reply. They got the truck sold and that is all that mattered to them.

I just needed an oil change and tire rotation. However they got me in and out in above average time. They was something dripped on my center console armrest. It may be oil. It won’t wipe off. I tried alcohol to get it off but the spot is still. I will try armor all next
I contacted them via online chat to get the price for a car I was interested in since they didnt put the price on their ad. They wouldnt give me the price unless I gave them my personal info. So I called and talked to Todd. I gave him the stock # of the car I was interested in and asked for the price. he quoted me $22,900 and also told me that it comes with lifetime powertrain warranty. I was emailing with someone else (Dino) from Sunset trying to get value for my trade in. Dino quoted me $26,999 for the same car and no lifetime warranty since its been modified. He also said that Todd said he never told me about the lifetime warranty and he never said $22.9k. So now they are calling me a liar. Like I would just make up a random price for a car. If that were the case I couldve just easily said $20k. Never doing business with them!
Purchased vehicle with an I owe you to fix a tire issue. Stayed their shop was closed on weekends. I was not from the area. Found out vehicle needs all 4 tires replaced due to one tire can’t be fixed and the tires need to be within 2/32 of each other. Sunset refused to replace tires saying the tires were good when I left.
CLICK BAIT!!I was looking on Craigslist for cars and their cars keep popping up because they set the price at $0. Then I went to the website and every car just says “call for pricing”That’s total BS, seems suspicious because I’m sure they tell people different prices. It makes it harder to check the KBB before contacting them about the car.I’m avoiding this place for lack of transparency on pricing.

After driving up from portland to another dealership and being horribly disappointed we went to Sunset Chevrolet. We found an even better car than what we were looking for at an amazing price.
