Thank you so much to Toby who helped us find the perfect couch!! We’ve been waiting on our couch to deliver from another company since June.. sold our old couch when it was suppose to be shipped, and have been on an inflatable couch ever since shipment was delayed. 5 months later, we decided to look around town. As soon as we walked into Discount Furniture, we were greeted and helped. As soon as I locked eyes with this couch, I knew it was the one!! It’s exactly what we wanted, and even better than the one we previously tried to get elsewhere. We bought the couch yesterday and it has already been delivered to us this morning!! Super nice people and a great experience. I just wish we would have came here sooner!!

Found this place by accident you can say. Was driving around with my wife burning time and decided to stop by. Wasn’t really looking to buy new furniture but they had deals that I couldn’t pass up. Will definitely be back to buy again

I was in a bind as we were moving my mother into assisted-living I called on Black Friday and again on Monday from my home in VA. The salesman named Matt took my calls but never returned them to let me know what was in stock or to finalize a purchase. When we finally arrived to buy a dresser, he said the one he showed us was the last one in stock, but then mysteriously he found another one in a box. He tried to send it with me in the box to the assisted living home, but I asked him to unpack it just to be sure there was no damage from Shipping. Well it turns out the legs were not installed, so I would have been in a bind trying to do that by myself while moving my mother. All in all not a great experience. Though we do like the chest. I’d rate my experience a two and the product a four.

My Husband and I recently got stationed here. In May and had none of our stuff delivered, and we also needed a Sofa/Couch so we went to Discount Furniture and I thought it was going to be lightly used items...but its actually brand new items in store they also have in store catalogs and an amazing website,with lots of options. Anyways we ended up buying a Sofa the same day and it got delivered with in a week. We ended up sleeping on the couch for 2 months till our stuff arrived and let me tell you this Couch is super comfortable and we are definitely loyal customers. We went back and got a King bed set. 😊 also Scott M. Is a really funny and honest person, I recommend asking for him. But Im sure all the employees are very nice and helpful too.

I went to discount where my husband and I had recently purchased a buffet and I showed them the couch I liked at Ashley’s they ordered same couch and over 1000 cheaper for us ♥️♥️♥️Very happy and pleased. Had the perfect sofa set for my mothers apt!

We loved coming here to Discount Furniture Outlet. We first discovered them buying a mattress for our daughter. The wonderful selection and customer service was refreshing. Then my while they were supporting the Shaw AFB lunch for the troops my husband entered a drawing to win a queen mattress. Well we won!! We went there and picked out a one we liked and upgraded to a king. They worked with us to pay the difference. Anyways long story short awesome deal awesome mattress and amazing customer service. Go see their store!!!

Excellent customer service. Scott listened to what we were looking for and showed us several options as well as brands. The price are great and everyone there goes beyond to make sure you are completely satisfied. We even received a little Thank You in the mail.

Today I went in and purchased a bedroom set for my husband and myself. Scott was wonderful as always (as we had come in a few months ago) and he still was happy to help us & answer all of our questions! He’s super polite & very honest about the delivery times etc. I’ll be coming back we’re ready to purchase our kitchen set!

The service has always been great, the prices always reasonable, and Ive always felt valued as a customer. The staff has always been more than accommodating and are always willing to work to keep the customer happy.

I love this store and the entire staff!!! Bought a king bedroom group set, living room set, formal dining room set, and a dinette set for over $7K (could have easily cost over $10K had I shopped somewhere else). Matt Hugh (the store manager), was highly professional, friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. He gave recommendations when asked but never pressured nor rushed me into buying anything. He entertained me during my first and second visits though I did not make any purchase then and just checked out the store. He even offered to come to my house to fix one of the dresser drawer that was stuck and would not fully open (thays how awesome he is, and to think that he is the store manager himself). I also asked him for his suggestion as far as what kind of furniture pieces/option do I have to fill an empty and odd corner in my living room (he was more than happy to give his advise/opinion). His delivery staff was also great and each personnel conducted himself with extreme professionalism and in a very polite manner. I am extremely happy and satisfied with Discount Furniture and highly recommends them to everyone for an enjoyable furniture shopping experience.

We were in the store for 15 minutes and no one came to offer us help. Then we overheard an employee saying that he tricked a customer into paying $30 more by telling her hed take off the taxes. Followed by saying Thats how we do in a celebratory way. Definitely wont be returning

We have done business with Discount Furniture three times in the last 11 years that we have lived in Sumter and we have always been very pleased. But the last time we purchased a couple pieces of furniture from Discount a few months ago, we learned that they provide stellar service after the sale as well. It became apparent that one of the items had a factory defect after a few weeks. I contacted Discount and they took care of everything. They worked with the manufacturer, picked up the item from our home, had it repaired when the repair part arrived, and then delivered it back to our home--all at no cost. And, Brad kept us informed with several phone calls all along the way. The service after the sale was outstanding and we strongly recommend Discount Furniture of Sumter!

I went in to this location spoke with Chris ordered what I thought was going to be a dark brown bedroom set. Needless to say I did not get the right color. Then to top it off I ordered a living room couch or so I thought I did asked him if I was paying for it he said yes. I was told it was on back order and could not be ordered until the 11 of march called to verify it was ordered and when I would be getting it. At this time he told me he did not have an order for it. At this point Im very mad due to I just moved to the area from another state he tells me I can come in and reorder it and pay for it. No thanks I will spend my money else where maybe someone else can get it right. So I picked out new living room furniture on a Monday and had it delivered that Friday. Will never buy furniture from here again.

Nice furniture however the employees were antisocial toward me. Thought nothing of it until an elderly white couple walks in and were greeted immediately. Maybe I didnt look as if I could afford the furniture. I will not be spending my money here!

Prices were decent, however the salesman wouldnt budge but around 2%-5% of price. What he didnt know I worked in the furniture business for 2 years. Their markup is 100%. Search around online for furniture markup if you dont believe me. Lane is the only one left made in America thats why its so expensive, the rest is imported from China.
