My husband and I were in this past weekend and got the most wonderful service from a gentleman named Larry in the Sun Prairie. He was back by the garage doors cleaning and not only helped with our question but also made a great suggestion on a new garage door opener! He was so helpful and unbelievably nice!! We come to Menards often and Larry was by far one of the nicest people we have spoken to while we were there!!

The 11% discount is a joke. There counting on people not sending in the rebate because YOU STILL HAVE TO SEND IT BY MAIL!!!! They can make a race car go fast but they cant let you send rebate in online... Come on Menards! Stop screwing your customers. And by the way, you can only spend your rebate at Menards.. Hahahaha

Dropped my wallet in Menards parking lot today. Jennifer in Customer service found the wallet and put it in safe. I am so grateful that she did the right thing!

Very authentic for the small town railroad experience . Friendly staff are inviting.

I dont know what this store is doing differently than the West side store, but they are doing it right!Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The store itself doesnt look dingy and outdated. They store some of their more common wood indoors. Overall, a much better experience than at the West side store.

Always good to know that there is knowledgeable people to help you find items. Good luck finding this type of customer service at the other box stores.

I like it better than Home Depot, seems cleaner and brightener. The 11% rebate thing is weird to me. I get that not everyone is going to do the rebate and the concept makes money for them, but it is what it is.

The last two times I visited the Sun Prairie store, DOGS! Not service dogs - pets.Maybe next time I should bring my goat.Other than that, I love Menards. I just wish that John Menard didnt give his money to Republicans.

I usually go to the Menards in Monona, but the service is not always that great. Decided to try the one in Sun Prairie. Boy, what a difference. Abby in Flooring was so helpful. And helped me get exactly what I needed and made sure I had all my supplies for the job. It was worth the drive.

The staff was very helpful even going out of their way to see if I needed help.

I find that checking inventory at the stores is easier for me on the Menards website. In the store the staff never fails to be helpful.

Big box but it has the selection. Cant beat picking out my own pieces of lumber

Been here a few times in the past few weeks unfortunately because the Menards in Madison which I love because the workers are always super helpful but didnt have some things in stock that were needed for renovating my house but Sun Prairie Menards had it in stock. Tried to get help from a few different people here and every time it seemed like such a chore to help me. The people I dealt with lacked work ethic and would rather stand around instead of helping a customer out who has spent a significant amount of money there...

So fortunate to see this guy come on beach! Often see turtles here - just please give them space. Mahalo

They have pretty much everything you need for your home and garden. Clean store and extremely helpful staff.

Great place. Good prices. Good staff. Good number of stuff in each area. No complaints. Rented trucks for moving personal stuff. Affordable but time limits are tough.

I was driving by and decide to make a quick stop to see if they had an extendedable spray wand end for the garden hose (everybody was out a month ago - probably another COVID related shortage). I was pleased to find out they did and it is a good one - better than the broken down & leaking one it replaced (Ive always found Menards to have good ones reasonably priced). Only bummer is the lawn & garden doors & registers were closed so my quick stop took a little longer having to enter at the far end, walk the length of the store, and then halfway back to check out and leave ... but still happy I stopped.

Found what we needed right away.Bought some lawn decorations, patio furniture, and lights. Asked a few employees some questions and everyone seemed to know what they were doing and talking about.Pretty quick in and out run for us.

A huge home improvement store. Everything you want to upgrade or even build your house. Camping to Christmas supplies.Things to look for are the end cap clearance areas. Lots of good deals.

Staff was really helpful and nice. The guy in the pick up area helped me load my doors in negative degree weather, which was appreciated. Paint area staff was great as well. Usually the store has what I need, prices are good. 5/5.

The plumbing dept. was not very knowledgeable about whether toilet tanks were interchangeable.

Menards has a little bit of most everything. But ask a store rep, because parts are really spread out, I cannot stress this enough! Ask a store representative for specific parts (unless you already know)

Went for house paint and lots of questions. Easily found parking. The employee that helped us was very knowledgeable and efficient. We found everything we went for and was in and out in no time.

Very clean and surprisingly well organized. Prices are the reason to go here as they are cheaper than competitors, after the annoying mail in rebate. The employees all seem to do their particular job sort of well but definitely nothing above and beyond. So if you are looking to get actual advice on a DIY Home project, take their advice and instructions with the grain of salt and use with caution.

Beats the hell out of Home Despot every single way, every single day!!! Great customer service and tho the registers are garbage in how they are set up...at least there is a person waiting to ring ya up!!!

If you need it for your home, inside or out, and you cant find it here, you didnt look hard enough or ask enough employees. The selection honestly cant be topped. Ive made several visits since moving to the area and have always been able to locate what Im after, and then some. Management does a good job keeping this store in tip top shape, from inventory stock and display, to cleanliness, to employee knowledge. Random request: please never turn off the large ceiling fan in the electrical department, my one-year old is flat out amazed and mesmerized by it.

It was easy to find everything i needed. Plus there is a car wash right next door, I LOVE THAT !

Good place for large home improvement purchases. I go there often and have learned to look for certain staff. Some of the newer staff need customer service training.

Management and team are great! Very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. It is clear that employees are treated well and not miserable and rude. Store is very clean and very well staffed theres always someone offering help finding what you need.

Definitely would have given it a higher rating, but my cashier allowed my plants to collide at the end of the conveyor belt and Im thinking that my impatiens are destroyed. Im hoping that they survive, I did not want to make a scene. But I was very very angry!

Well what can I say my favorite store, I got nothing bad to say about the store they got whatever you need if youre building any project or just need to get out for a minute you can stroll the store you can sit in the chair and get a massage. You can even buy your favorite candy there. Should be called Menards A to z.

Got to love the 11% cashback rebates. Unique selection of products that you don’t find much elsewhere locally. Prices can be hit or miss but after an 11% rebate always a good deal.

Same as any other menards...it dosent have that humid smell...enployees are incredible polite....most of the time we can find some one to help us with in 4 min.

Clean and quiet at 9:30. Although everyone was masked, I was greeted by all employees! Cashiers are always so kind and welcoming.

Needed a new water heater and was ready to purchase one, but needed a contractor to install it. I was provided with a list of contractors from one of Menards associates and I contacted all of them and to my surprise, only one return my call. I cant understand why Menard would sell products and offer contractors who can assist their customers, but find that none of them are reliable. Needless to say, we decided to look elsewhere for a water heater.

Only bad thing about menards is that while Im in the store searching for what i came for I start seeing other things I need or could use so it gets costly but they usually have everything I need

Um...they have what is needed for fixing up our home. Love the pet section there too. Just wish I could spend more time there, someday we wont be so rushed.

I had a great shopping experience. The store is huge, and I ended up spending more time there than anticipated. But the holiday stuff is out, and there was so much to look at. Pricing is far more reasonable in comparison to other stories Ive shopped at. The store is very clean and well organized.

Finally found the metal shelving I was looking for after trying 5 menards stores very frustrating computer stating they had them in stock only to find out that once I got to the store a half hour later there was none in stock

I loved it more when Menards had their patio furniture and backyard decor arranged in mock set ups. Really helped with visualizing DIY projects. Slightly disappointed when I visited this last time.

They have everything I need and more, good selection and great service.

The place is new and the personnel is not very knowledgeable yet. I m sure this will change. Like other similar places, it tends to be VERY crowded on weekends which makes for an unpleasant experience. Overall a typical menards.

The sun Praire location are rude to the black customers I spend thousands and they will tell u where the product is but not walk u go the area to make sure u find it and they just a rude sales floor

Very large Menards...bit enough to even have a small grocery section if thats your thing. Sufficiently staffed and the staff are mostly knowledgeable.

Dont like Menards, I only go there if absolutely necessary . Multi million dollar company and theyre going to charge you for a mask. You go in Kwik Trips and they have a table with a pile of FREE ones.

This Menards is lacking when it comes to electrical stock compared to others. Othweise its a fine place.

Well organized store. You get most of the home need items here. I went for the GE LED Lights but didnt get them though. Seems like they are out of stock for this season.
