My experience was rather poor. I had ~1000 sq ft floor replaced with engineered hardwood. Initial stages went well. It was easy to place an order, work started on time. Material (inexpensive store brand) has much more imperfections than the store sample, but I don’t blame the store. It turned out that I was sold an excess of more expensive floor boards, and not enough of baseboards, etc. The store manager asked my to pay for work, and promised to correct in no time. Unfortunately this wasn’t the case, and … it is not fun to live with obvious defects, and to have repeated emails ignored.

I did my entire home remodeling this summer, and ordered my entire houses engineering wood floor and carpet in this store with Berto. I went to the store just to get samples since it is close to my home, didnt expect to order all of my floors/carpets from there originally.But It was a very pleasant experience and lucky to get help from Berto. Berto and the team are responsive, patience, and updated regularly with my order status, checked with me for my installation experience afterwards, and helped match the price I got from other store for the floors. So when it is time to select carpet, I went to the store directly without shopping around.Based on the floor experiences, they have quite a lot samples for good brands, and the price is also competitive. They dont have any hidden fees as well. Would highly recommend this place.

I wanted to buy carpet for my home in Mountain View, which I plan to rent out (we currentlyvlive in Santa Cruz). I called the Floor Store on El Camino Real in Sunnyvale last Friday afternoon and spoke with Diane. I explained that I needed about 938 sq ft of carpeting, and that I would be driving up from Santa Cruz to pick it out and arrange for installation. She volunteered that they would be open until 7PM.I made dinner for my wife and me and then took off in my 2010 E65 M6 6-speed coupe that has a naturally aspirated V10 that produces 507 bhp. Thats the good news. The bad news is it gets no better than 13 mpg..After hitting traffic north on HWY 17 over the Santa Cruz mountains, I finally made it to the Floor Store at 251 El Camino Real in Sunnyvale by 6:42PM. I was at the front door no later than 643 PM, only to find the store dark, the front door locked, and no one inside. Despite the fact that Diane assured me they would be open until 7PM. And despite the fact that there hours posted on the door stated that they were open 9AM to 7PM M-F.So I got back in my car and drove back down to Santa Cruz, as a costcof a wasted 2 hrs and 6 gallons of premium at $5.09/gallon.The next day I met the nicest guy (Michael, fron S&G Carpet in Cupertino at my house in MV, he expertly measured the carpeted area (938 sq ft), had exactly the carpet I wanted in his van, and signed the contract that afternoon.

If I could give 0 stars, I would give that. Terrible customer service. I would avoid this store at all cost. There are better flooring stores with better quality and customer service throughout Bay Area. Please take your money elsewhere.

Their collection is very premium & unique. Was looking for Luxury Vinyl and Quartz and they had the collection which was not easy to find on the entire junction street area. Staff is just great & very helpful. Found their prices to be bit on the higher side but Im sure they wouldve beaten any offer had we tried.

This isn’t the first time I have use the floor store but this is the first time I’m going to leave a review. I work with a local construction company and we’ve used dozens of floor manufacturing and distributors in the Southbay area. What’s that this company apart is definitely their customer service. Without getting too much into their vast variety of flooring, they are simply the best in the business when it comes to dealing with knowledgeable and first time floor purchasers. It is very helpful as a construction professional to be able to bring clients into This store and have knowledgeable vendors walk clients through what’s the best product mobile fit their home and the best design for their renovation. As a professional I highly recommend taking your business to the floor store you will not be disappointed.

Great selection and good prices.

Went in to buy some vinyl flooring. All sales people were busy talking to each other. We left after 15 minutes of waiting for some help. The store is very hot inside with only a handful of fans to try to cool it down. There was a great selection to choose from but other more hospitable stores have an equal selection.

Chris Cruz (manager) and Darrell Lewis are sarcastic and abusive to customers and staff. Cambria (GM) is unprofessional and dishonest. If I could put a zero for my experience with the Floor Store, I would.

Super helpful staff and great selection

We were very happy with the sales professional who assisted us. He was professional in his knowledge of flooring and very responsive to getting on site so as to form the basis for an estimate. That estimate was fair and reasonable and our salesman was helpful in putting in place all of the details that would allow the continued living in the house during the installation. We have not started installation yet, but I know we will be supported if any issue arises, and we are happy that the installation is now basically on auto pilot, with no requirements on us.

I ordered new carpeting and laminate flooring at the beginning of September with the expressed requirement that all the flooring be installed within 2 weeks. This was agreed and deposits paid. The laminate flooring was installed okay on schedule. I was told that the carpets would be installed next day.The next day I waited for several hours. When nobody turned up I called the store and was told that the carpet had just arrived and now the installation could be scheduled for early October! This was quite unacceptable and not what was agreed in writing. After a few annoying phone calls, The Floor Store manager was reached and he helped get an expedited installation a week later than originally planned.So all in all not a perfect experience but in the end it all worked out.

“Ohhh so good” !!! Everything was perfect from the customer service to the high quality floors.The price was very affordable as well. These guys here are awesome. Charlie did exactly what I expected. I could not be happier with my new floor. Definitely come back here.

Im very happy to find this place, after going to many places. The Floor Store have a huge selection. The moment we step in we was greeted by Charlie. We didnt know what we want for our new home so Charlie help us picked engineered hardwood and getting our new floor install!!

I have a very busy schedule with little time off but Mike Owings went above and beyond what my other flooring company did. He talked with me over the phone to get ideas on what I was looking for. He brought out samples and I found one that I liked. The install went great and I didnt miss much time at work. Thanks Mike

We just had new carpet installed in our living room and hallway. The Sunnyvale location is new, but the showroom is spectacular. They have a very large selection of carpet, hardwood and tile. We worked with Mike Owings. He was very knowledgeable about all the inventory and helped us pick out just the right carpet, in texture, style, and robustness to meet our needs. He also came out to our house and did themeasurements. He quoted us a fair price for all material and installation. He also provided us a detailed schedule from placing the order to delivery and installation.The carpet arrived in the time frame that was promised. The installation was scheduled and the install went without any issues. It was a fantastic experience. And as promised no hidden charges or fees, what was quoted is what we paid.If you are in the market for new flooring you had better give Mike Owings at the Sunnyvale Store a call. You will not be sorry.

We placed an order in February and we still have not received our flooring. They messed up the tile order the first time, and throughout this (non)process we have not received a single phone call and only received excuse after excuse as to why the estimate took forever and the tiles were wrong and the wood trim yadda yadda We have had to call every single time. The last time we went in, our sales rep was out and we couldnt schedule the installation. Now, 6 months later, no floors. And we paid our deposit already! Absolutely horrible company to deal with... Ill follow up if we ever actually get the flooring installed.
