I am SO HAPPY!!!! I knew my clutch needed to be replaced, and I was expecting quite a hefty bill. These guys had my car back to me faster than originally thought, and with a better price tag than expected!! AND, they did more work than just the clutch, they noticed and replaced my strut bolts that were broken, and the clamps to hold my exhaust up. I have been here twice now. The first time was for an oil change. Which went great! The staff is really friendly. They even looked over my car and told me what I would need to have done next/in the near future. It was super helpful to know what the next steps for maintaining my car was gonna be (And so I could budget it).I set up my next oil change and a couple of the repairs. Making an appointment is easy and convenient. They communicated well with me. My car ended up having some missing and some loose bolts. They called and let me know right away. My car was still able to be completed that day! Overall, I am very pleased with the workmanship and the shop in general. I will be taking my car there for the foreseeable future!

I feel my money is well spent when I go to Precision. The folks are easy to talk to. They are honest and let you know what is needed right now and what can be postponed. The work is done in a timely manner with excellent communication between the shop and myself. Steve anticipated my needs and offered me use the loaner car. They have a customer for life.

My Dodge Ram 3500 Dually with diesel engine suddenly wouldnt shift out of first gear. Many places cant handle a truck of this size and diesel can also complicate it in some cases. It was after hours and I couldnt go far with the truck. I read the reviews on Precision and was impressed with the number of reviews and the high rating. I parked my truck in front of the shop on a Thursday night and heard from them first thing Friday morning. By noon they had diagnosed the issue, offered me a quote to fix and made a recommendation for minor maintenance. I had my truck back Monday morning fixed and the maintenance done. I was very happy with Precision and wouldnt hesitate to use them again and recommend them to others who may find themselves needing honest, reliable, quick service.

This shop is amazing. I have dealt with Sean(hope that spelling is correct) and he has been straightforward and honest every time. My old car blew a head gasket and was too expensive to repair and even though it too me a while to get a tow set up to where I donated it, they never made me feel bad for leaving it on the lot. Theu also did an amazingly thorough pre purchase check on my new car and Sean was great about letting me know what would need to be fixed and what could wait and be monitored so that I could haggle the price, get a fair deal, and be prepared for any future expenses. I am taking the car to get fixed up this week and will continue to take my cars there as long as I am based in Tacoma.

These guys are amazing and HONEST! My transmission light come on and long story short, the first place I took it told me the transmission needed to be fully replaced. When I got a second opinion from Precision Automotive & Transmission they said it was most likely the sensor. They got me in right away and were very efficient with the repair. Full transmission replacement vs. transmission sensor is a difference of thousands of dollars. I am grateful they were honest and knowledgeable when analyzing the issue. Highly recommend!

Took my girlfriends car here. Told them that the transmission was slipping and I thought it needed a change of filter and fluid. After they analyzed it they told me the transmission was shot and I would need a new one at $4000.00 I told him the car was only worth maybe $2000 and it wouldnt be worth it. So I went back and picked it up and drove home. Couple days later I thought I would change the filter and fluid myself to see if it would help. Its been 6 months and the car is still working fine. I guess they dont know transmissions very well or they were trying to make some extra money off me. Wont ever take a vehicle to them again and would not recommend anyone to either. Beware...

While they are not the cheapest place in town, they do a fabulous job and guarantee their work. I believe them to be honest and they do a great job at communicating what is needed. On a more personal side, they have even helped me out by coming to rescue me when I had a bad battery. They jumped the car, and then followed me to the shop just in case their was other problems. Hello, It is disheartening to see negative reviews on this page. I own four vehicles; a late model Acura, Camry, Mazda and a 30 year old Dakota pick up, Precision is my go-to. I suspect that anyone leaving a negative review has little concept of just how much it costs to PROPERLY maintain any car.If you wish that corners be cut and you or your loved ones safety be compromised, go somewhere else. Precision will not sign off on any but the highest caliber work. Their technicians and writers are highly skilled. Ownership is straightforward, always.I have read the negative reviews here. It is my impression that anyone leaving such is looking for something for nothing. If Steve advises you to not drive your car, please dont. That advice is for your own safety. If you have to pay a tow fee, that is more a reflection on you and just how poorly youve maintained your car to date.I typically review repair costs with the service writer before work starts. The jobs are always accurately quoted. I always leave room for discovery of other defects in the process of repairs and service. I will discuss with the service writer my costs ceiling.
