We went in to the store and were given a thorough education on the beds. We were able to try them all with a long enough time to really tell if we liked them. It was a good experience.

Go talk to Alyssa. She seriously wants you to sleep better. This was such a great experience and had we not stopped in on a whim to ask some questions Id still be dreaming of my sleepnumber....instead of dreaming ON it!!Actually, I cant lie. I havent even been able to sleep on our beautiful mattress yet since its upstairs and I just had knee surgery, soon tho, very soon I will be dreaming on it.So for me, the experience was so great, informative, and GENUINE that it gives me hope and makes me happy there are really still retail sales associates out there that take pride in what they sell and care who they are selling it to.THANK YOU ALYSSA!

“WARNING” DO NOT BUY A MATTRESS FROM SLEEP NUMBER! I would tell anyone I know not to buy a sleep number especially from the Tacoma mall from a guy named Adam! He will lie to you just to make a sale. He told us that we would get %100. Money back guaranteed if we did not like the mattress and I asked him a few times so there are no restocking fees or delivery fees or anything? And he told us no you get %100. Money back guaranteed no questions ask! So we took the chance and made the purchase.when our bed arrived and they set it up it was nothing like the one we tried in the store.it was a air mattress wrapped in a thin foam was not worth the money that they charged for it. So save your money and go to Walmart and buy a blowup mattress there it’s a lot cheaper for the same quality. We had to fight to get our money back and still did not get all our money back like we were promised! The only good thing I can say about this store is the manager she was a big help and did everything she could to help with us getting our money back. But Adam will lie about everything so don’t trust a word he says! Worst sales person ever! I will never buy anything from sleep number ever and I will tell everyone I know looking for a mattress to never go to sleep number!

This Tacoma store was great, my wife and I had great experience buying a new bed and sheets. Couldn’t be happier. This was a pleasant surprise after a horrible experience the same day at the Olympia store. I can’t even express the horrible treatment I received at the Olympia store. If you want a awesome bed sold to you by a top notch staff, go to Tacoma Sleep Number at the Tacoma mall. They definitely have your best interest in mind.

HiThis bed is the WORST bed in the hole wide world. I bought my bed 10 months ago. My experience is NOT good. I have to fill the matress everyday and I cant have a different setting for each side because Ill form a hole in the middle of the matress. 😡

About two months ago spoke on the phone with Melissa for about an hour. Told her I was spontaneous and could not set an appointment and would probably just show up and thats what I did. Melissa made herself available to me and we spent two hours checking out everything. Melissa is very knowledgeable, very charismatic and I really enjoyed speaking with her that day in the store. We even did a credit check which of course was all good. The bed is very interesting the way the foundation is made with air Chambers. My husband and I have slept on King split adjustable base for the past 35 years. We were interested in a king Flex split because my cat and my body pillow take up all my room in my twin size bed LOL because you know a king split is really only two twinxl put together. Melissa almost had me sold until I asked about massage therapy. My husband and I thats the first thing we do after getting home from work is put our feet up put our massage on and relax. Its very therapeutic and they say putting your feet up you will live longer. Melissa had to inform me massage was no longer available so I asked why. Melissa stated and I quote a worldwide survey was taken and all the people preferred the new foot warming instead of having a massage. The people stated it was a novelty item and will wear off eventually. Melissa continued to say, I was the one out of a million that liked the massage as opposed to leg warming. OMG! How could I be one out of a million that would rather have the massage feature as opposed to the leg warming feature. Ask Melissa why both features massage and foot warming is not available. Kind of unclear as to her explanation. Unfortunately, that was the deal breaker for me and my husband. We love our massage 4head and feet along with the wave that goes up and down your spine. Also sheets and all your bedding are very expensive if you buy them in store would recommend bed sheets. Com. In addition, asked Melissa that personal Comfort States Sleep Number fibers in the mattress come from outside the United States I asked for proof and she was unable to find me proof on that. As you know Sleep Number used to be called something like I number mattress. Apparently the two managers could not get along and split the company. Second company is called personal comfort which does offer the massage feature. These two companies have been in court quite a few X. Also available is selectabed and air Pedic if you are interested in pursuing this air chamber bed.Found it interesting with the warranty of about 20 to 25 years that a person will spend almost 80 to 90% replacement parts. This means that you are eventually replacing the liners in the mattress to keep them from sagging in middle part of mattress where all your weight is; thus putting pressure on the bladder of the bed. But my understanding is replacement is not cheap. So at this time I have reservations on this type of mattress.Sleep number is located inside the Tacoma Mall the parking is a little hectic. The customer service from Melissa was excellent. The store is very clean and you are given a terrific welcome.

I enjoyed Ashley Ill sales representative she was very attentive to our needs and desires for a new mattress very pleasant and nice personality and she even was able to move up a delivery date so my husband can get used to it before his surgery will recommend to all my friends and family we got the ice Sleep Number IQ 8

DO NOT BUYOur frame no longer connects to our bed and we’re told we need to buy a new $50 remote to fix the problem. The customer service is terrible and the bed has caused more restless nights than good night of sleep.

My wife and I went into this sures to browse and we werent really looking to buy just yet. Richard, the employee who helped us, was amazing. He answered all of our questions, he was very informative, and he was personable. The store manager however, lost this sale for Richard. As we were leaving he pressured ya more about buying today. I explained that we need to look at our finances at home and he just shook his head. He then starte, *I dont understand that with a very condescending attitude. My wife and I just walked away. If he wouldnt have said anything, my wife and I would have happily come back when we were ready to buy. The store manager does not have any idea of how to talk to customers. I think it would be beneficial for the Sleep Number corporate offices to look into this guy. I know Im not the only one who has had to deal with him.

I had a great service where they put me through all my types of Number beds and they did a check on the way my body weight push in the mattress it was very informative and the beds are amazing but the price range is high you talkin that you going to spend from $4,000 till like $10,000 or more but if I had the money that I almost had I would have buy one

I would stay away from the Tacoma Mall store! We purchased our bed from the manager Bren, and we picked out our bed. C4 with the adjustable base. He told us it comes with two remotes and we were getting the Sleep IQ. When they came to deliver the bed, no second remote or Sleep IQ! Apparently he accidentally deleted it from the order, and now we will have to pay for those things in addition to what we already paid! What a scam! We just paid thousands of dollars and now you want more! Bren should be fired!

Customer serviçe was on point. Too expensive for my blood, but my friends Dad found exactly what he was looking for, for about a little less then $4000.00

The salesman over promised and under delivered. The manager of the store was contacted and promised to fix the issues. As I write this it has been more than 45 days ago and still nothing has been resolved. The managers name is Brian. I highly recommend that you avoid the store at all costs. Brian is a very deceitful and dishonest man, as is his sales staff.

I have had nothing but problems and issues from day 1.- Delivered my bed to the previous address after i updated them with my new address the day I bought the bed.- I was told that a bed would be delivered on a specific time to accomidiate my work schedule. It was not i was at work and had to call my girlfriend to come from Olympia to Tacoma and be here for the delivery of the bed.- The financing they use Synchrony is one of the worst, Stats from the BBB 25 good complements 678 bad complaints.- After the trial period of my bed I will be sending it back, Day one install my sleep IQ USB drive was left out of the air pump. 2 weeks in, one of the air chamber started to leak. 2.5 months in the air pump decided it was only going to pump up one of the chambers on my king size bed.DONE DONE DONEUPDATE* As of 10/24/2016 it cost me almost $500 to try out the sleep number bed find out I did not like it. THANS SLEEP NUMBER FOR THE WORST SLEEP OF MY LIFE. And costing me $500 to find that out.

They didnt have the soft pillows I wanted but the staff was friendly

The foam mattress disintegrated after 2 1/2 years. Sleep number acknowledged it was defective but would not cover the product under warranty and wanted to sell me a new foam topper at a discounted price.

They were very helpful, offered a place to sit down as well as a bottle of water. Very nice.
