Came in at 6:15 on a Tuesday and was 3rd in waiting line. They were short staffed and I ended up getting taking of way past closing. Kristen and Justice were AMAZING. Patient, funny, informative and worked their hardest to make it go quickly with failing system computer issues.Had to go back the next day cause my charger wasn’t working and was taken care of immediately by Justice again and got the problem fixed.The staff is hard working and kind and a lot of the customers were not so much. They deal with a lot with a smile on their face! Thanks ladies

Came in to upgrade phone and ask about home internet. Had to wait 45 minutes to be helped. The associate who helped me made med feel like she was trying to get rid of me as quickly as possible. Kept telling me home internet wasnt available since the continue button on her tablet wasnt working. Seemed strange to me I was able to see and place in my cart online but for some reason I was told its unavailable. I asked to speak to Manager. Manager came over 15 minutes later and told me 5g home internet is not available. I asked if I was able to get the 4g home internet since thats what I saw online and she told me that product doesnt exist. I tried to ask a few questions about the home internet and she just kept telling me that Verizon would send me that info when its available. I pushed and asked if she could just answer my questions now. She got upset and yelled at me Ill go find out and walked away. At that time I just left the store. Never did get to upgrade my phone.

The customer service rep was knowledgable, explained everything well and really happy with the deals we got. Upgraded my plan and got new phones in about a half hour. Clean store and well stocked with accessories at the time.

Went into the Tacoma branch to upgrade my iPhone 11 to an iPhone 12 Pro. The guy who helped me literally sat his phone to the left of him watching his Bears play football. Told me not to mind that he was a huge Bears fan and excuse him in case he gets crazy. It was an easy transition, he asked me if I wanted protection and I said yes but he didn’t go over any costs and I failed to ask. He also didn’t even set up the phone for me. I traded mine in and I made my payment and left. Would have rather had his full attention, but at least I got the phone I wanted

This place is terrible. The Representatives are rude... the management is even worse. The employees dont have the customers best interest in mind theyre only trying to scam you with some BS. I can hardly believe that this is authorized Verizon store. Truly disappointing and hardly worthy of the brand name. I highly recommend corporate fire the current management and replace most of the staff.

Verizon should stay out of politics. Spent several hours switching our families phones to TMobile yesterday after being with Verizon for 20 years. We won’t support organizations who meddle in politics and take sides. Plus side is that TMobile has better service and is way cheaper!! You lost a customer for life Verizon! Bye!

This store is a waste of time. They have no demos then when you ask if you can see a phone they hand you a demo that has no charge. For the first time since becoming a Verizon customer i am honest thinking about switching carriers! Do not waste your time in coming to this store.

Very disappointing comparing to my positive experience and a review I posted for the South Hill Mall. I only came here to pick up a phone b/c South Hill Mall didnt have my color and porting a # in. Long story short, I made an online appt for 4pm, due to the snow/traffic, we were no more than10 min late. The manager (by the nickname of KPC) checked us at curbside, told us that her agents were busy (took another customer without an appt because we were late). No problem, we patiently waited in the car for 15 min, I approached her again, asking why couldnt she help us out when she was free and just leisurely strolling inside the store, doing absolutely NOTHING. She said that she was assigned to the curbside and couldnt leave her position. But there was no customers coming in, at 4:25pm on Friday. She then said that they have to close the store early (by 5pm) due to the snow, so well be helped regardless. Surely we did get help, I walked inside the store at 4:50pm (for my 4pm appt), agent rushed me through like there was no tomorrow, and he forgot to give me the trade-in mail-in envelope.Selfish management, customers are not put at forefront, I felt like I was being punished b/c I was only 10 min late to my scheduled appt. The manager could have totally helped me out. Her decision, my review, stay away.

Verizon has the WORST customer service of any phone company on this planet. Their repair team bricked my iPhone, handed it back to me and told me I would have a used one in 5-7 business days. They bricked an iPhone on a screen repair. Go to AT&T or somewhere where they value service!

Went to get my phone fixed and instead I have to deal with it online. Never had this issue at Sprint, they did the repairs in house. Wish wed have never switched over.After seeing your response Ive got more to say.After calling customer service, we were told to take the damaged phone to the store, which was supposedly a repair facility, so we did. When we got there we were handed a card with a phone number to call, which was Asurion. Aggravating already....We went through Asurion, like we were told to, and to get a small piece of glass replaced is going to cost us $250. Are you kidding me?! What would have been $30 at Sprint is $250 now, and thats with the insurance?! How do you call this good business? Why are we even paying for insurance if this is the end result? Well be switching back to Sprint as soon as possible. We should have never switched over to begin with, the service is worse, the customer service is horrendous at best and the pricing is more too. Talk about a racket. Well definitely be telling everyone we know who is thinking about switching over to save their time and money. Verizon sucks, period.

I always have trouble at this verizon. I recently broke the screen on my phone and the charging port hasnt worked in months so I figured Id take it in. The dude that assisted me told me that I would have to lose my phone to get an insurance replacement which is not true. I called verizon and got it all figured out. They mailed a refurbished phone and I mailed my broken one back. All good in the end, but this verizon is never any help.Made another visit to Verizon months after my original review and my update is that they are as unhelpful as ever.

Horrible customer service. The short girl did not know what she was doing and was a poor liar that computers were down. A customer came out of the store and I asked him if the computers were down and he told me no. Then she came running out because she saw me asking customers if there were problems. Then she let some woman cut in and let her into store ahead of two of us. I have an injured knee and my ride just got off graveyard shift waiting for me. I had to wait for an hour when my order was already bagged and I had the email proving it was ready to pickup. When I got inside all of a sudden the two Iphones she was holding were working. I had just called customer service before going to the store and was assured that I could either walk in or do curbside pickup as I was wearing a mask. I will be complaining to the Attorney General because we should have received the 5G sim cards and service on our new phones as we are paying an arm and a leg for them. There is no excuse for my waiting in the hot sun for over an hour.

I tried calling before I drove over and never got an answer. They are operating, but very busy. They have you check in outside and come to your car when it is your turn to be one of the 2 custumers allowed in. They were as always, polite and helpful. As always, I understood about a third of what they said. As always many of my fellow customers were total complaint monkeys. I admire anyone who works retail right now.

I was disappointed. Went in to take advantage of a fathers day sale. No customers allowed in store. Only service was to replace a damaged cell. Got the wrong phone, didnt get a deal. How does someone get hold of someone who works in the Tacoma Mall store? I call and it goes to the main number for Verizon. I am handicapped (use a wheelchair), I have a Verizon account (for 2 1/2 years) a Samsung Flip phone that I need to replace with the 4G etalk phone. I live near this store and want to talk to someone to set up a purchase and pick it up (curb delivery is fine). How does one get thru to the STORE???? The Verizon website is a JOKE and I have been trying for a WEEK to get assistance and I got zip....so...does anyone at the Tacoma store over near Red Robin want to earn a paycheck? respond to this review. thanks

This speaks more to Verizon than to the actual employees(who were all fairly nice). If youre not a new customer/contract then it seems like they have bigger fish to fry. Even though the employees were pleasant, all three of the times I went in to get details on my plan I was shooed away when I told them I wasnt looking to purchase anything at the time. I am not sure if they earn commission on sales, but they act like they do. Employees 3/5, Verizon 1/5, overall 2/5

Ask for Vanessa. Shes amazing.Just left this retail outlet on Tacoma Mall Blvd.Fantastic experience. I am still Im shock. Best Verizon experience in many, many years. I called first and Vanessa was awesome! She was knowledgeable and very patient.She answered all my questions and was genuinely trying to help, not just get me off the phone as quickly as possible. Went at 11am to pay bill. Kiosk wasnt taking cash so one of the SIX sales people on the floor offered to help. Way TOO many people working in this store. I was the ONLY person in the entire store with SIX sales people. This place is always overstaffed. No wonder Verizon costs more than any other carrier. corporate obviously hasnt figured out how to balance actual staffing needs with reality. I hate going into the store because I always feel like Im being ambushed every time I walk in the front door. Its like swarm..... swarm ....swarm! ...the customer when he walks in. Its ridiculous.

Asked what our bill would look like before signing the contract, they always have pulled a bait and switch with me. Part of it was I asked for unlimited data and the summary was for like 4 gigs. Then when you agrr to the contract they sell you a bunch of addons that add up quick. It costs me $150 more a month than the quote.

Sleaze is the name of the game. I came into this store to see about getting an early upgrade. Less than a month early. Ive been a customer for almost ten years now and am also a former employee. After explaining my situation, the woman helping me disappeared to get her marching orders from the supervisor. She returned to tell me that the only way theyd be able to help me upgrade my phone is if I purchased a new iPad with a data package and accessories. When I questioned this, I was told Its the only way a managers override will work. What a fantastic lie! I must say I am impressed with her ability to flat out lie about how their system works (as if every customer they help must bend over and take it first). I may take my business elsewhere after encountering the incredibly high level of sales-person sleaziness here and total lack of customer service. Honestly, I couldve paid full price for the phone and returned it in a month when my upgrade was due but the supervisor at this store decided to go through the extra effort of burning a long time customer. Farewell!

Took awhile to be acknowledged by anyone on staff. He got my name and still a long wait. Thats OK they are servicing people. Finally a guy comes up and listens to my issue. He just tolded me he couldnt help. I was frustrated, so I called the Verizon help center Hunter, he got me semi fixed but I still needed to get authourised to be on the account. I went back in the store and Sam an angel helped. He had me make a call, and gave and installed my SIM card. Sam aka blank man, did an outstanding job.

I signed in and the person working the front checked me in while asking what I was looking for. I told him what I was interested in and he put me in the lineup. A while later I mentioned to another worker that I was there to try on a Garmin Vivoactive Verizon Music watch and she stated that the only way that I could try that watch on was to buy it. She then said to visit Best Buy to try it on there. They do not have the watch to try on either. Its dissapointing that you cant try on a Verizon specific watch at the Verizon store.

Helped and greeted even before I entered the building. I was juggling baby, backpack, sippy cup, hat and keys when something fell out of my back pocket. The greeter let me know something has fell out and held the door for us. Around 445pm there was a 10 minute wait which is WAY better than any other visit I have made. They fixed my phone and answered my quwstions clearly and without rush. 3 stars because there is a space obviously designed for small children to sit and handle tablets (secured in colorful cases). My daughter eagerly sat to explore these electronics...only to find advertisements? Interest lost very quickly which wasnt helpful in waiting for our turn or with getting through my turn. This is a huge missed opportunity in my opinion

They Lied to my son about getting a plan. They told him he was good because he had no credit so just bring in ID and social and he can get a plan. But when he did they told him. You have no credit. You will have to pay full price along with a 100 dollar deposit. This is why I HATE VERIZON.
