Great store! Steven is really knowledgable about his stuff, and even though Ive been playing TTGs for a long time, whenever I have question I usually ask him. Always has good stuff in stock and if youre looking for something specific you can order it online and have it shipped to the store. Also lots of room to actually play games in store, which is the BEST.

5 for manager enthusiasm and knowledge and customer service, Steven is great. 2 for everything else; no bathroom, closes at 3 so the one employee can take a break, and incredibly limited space for gaming ( none during covid, which is fair)

This place is pretty great. A good selection of miniatures. Steve helped with painting tips and rounding out a strategy for our armies. Friendly and welcoming.

This is a Warhammer specialty store and I came in looking for board games that are not Warhammer.But immediately upon seeing the confusion on my face an employee offered me assistance. After explaining theyre a specialty shop, the employee was still very helpful in helping me find a shop more appropriate to my needs, and I love nothing more than that.PS: if youre looking for other games besides Warhammer supplies, I recommend reading my review for TerraCrux

If youre experienced, shop here. They have most of the store cut off so browsing is a bit pointless and impossible.Otherwise staff is freaken awesome and super knowledgeable

Will only go to this game Workshop will never go to the one in Puyallup again poor management at the Puyallup store. Here are the management is great and so are the employees when recommend the store over the Puyallup one any day

Ive been to a number of GW locations, and this is the only one where the staff is consistently welcoming without also being super-pushy.

Steve is very helpful and will answer all your questions to get you setup as a new player.

The guy working there was great and informative with how to start painting and had even given me a free space marine to practice on!

More table space then youd see at a typical GW (not that we can use it right now, still cool shh) and friendly staff. But for its extra size, was expecting more stock in store.

Cant say much about the events run as its only pick up etc right now, but very friendly staff helped me order some GW direct pieces. Store is a great size too.

Games workshop is great and Steve is always so helpful and funny! We love going in just to talk even if we dont need anymore Warhammer stuff

Blood for the blood God!Steve runs a tight ship! Plenty of tables to run games, paint, hang out and chat about Warhammer. Steve really knows his stuff, and was able to answer any question I threw at him. And now, Im starting a blood bowl team. I cant wait!

The website lies, they closed at 6 not 6:30. as advertised. busy day and drove 30 miles to get there, plus bridge toll for it to be closed, wasted 60 miles round trip & toll, but need a gift card for christmas.....then they say google wont let them change the time????seems should a way to edit your own business site... rant over.

The shop manager Steve is knowledgeable, friendly, and just as enthused about your hobby as you are. If it wasnt for him Id never have painted my nearly 10k points of Nighthaunt because of how excited he made me feel to show them off.

It is a good place to get paint. I do not play much of GWs games (Blood Bowl to hang out with friends I dont see much) but I am a fan of a lot of their paint line so if I need more that is usually my first stop.

Came into the store with my 5 year old daughter yesterday to get some painting supplies. John, the store rep, came by and ask my daughter if she wanted to paint a miniature. He gave her instructions on how to dry brush and now she has a bright pink space marine. When we got back to the car she said it was fun and couldnt wait to show her space marine to her mom. Couldnt be more impressed with how professional and courteous John is.

Always friendly staff that loves to share the hobby with you. I always enjoy my visit. Never pushy about sales and always willing to give you any information you may want with a big smile. Cant wait till my next visit.

Been out of the hobby for 9 years and the dude who runs the place has been extremely helpful. He is very knowledgeable and will sell you stuff but if you are not there to buy he still treats you like a valued customer. To browse or to buy this is a great store with great customer service.

Ive just gotten into 40k and Im slowly building up my supplies. Ive been to the Kent store and this store. Being in the middle of both. Id drive 30 minutes in heavy tacoma construction traffic that never ends to come to here. (Kent is nice to. I swear!) Steven is always super helpful. And takes the time to give me some nice tips, and reach the top shelf! Even if its busy. Seriously Im short with trex arms.

Love this store! John is the new service rep, is always friendly and willing to help anybody with any problems. And always have what i need. Great tables and always a friendly crowd. I encourage new hobbyist to come here for help. Its always available.

Pretty basic warhammer stuff. Not worth the stop, Game Matrix is better on prices and selection.

The games workshop store of Tacoma is well stocked and well staffed. The inventory is up to date and the current store Manager is knowledgeable and courteous. The store is excellent for both the beginning and the experienced player.

Very helpful manager! Bought a few sets, and was sent in the right direction immediately upon entering the store. Set up with the right paints, and got alot of tips without even asking. New collector friendly environment, and most importantly wasnt pressured in anyway on what to buy. Told me what I might need and what would be helpful, and that was it. Best workshop Ive been to!

Its been easily 20+ years since Ive been in a GW store (the last one Id seen was at the supermall off of highway 18). A great supply of models and supporting products. Above all, the fellow working the store was the most personable and helpful that Ive ever seen in a game store.

I wanted to start playing W40K and the first store I went to was discouraging. I felt like the owner of the first store was more so talking me out of playing because I didnt look like the type. HOWEVER!! the owner of the 72nd store was more than helpful she was encouraging and fun to talk to. Not only that, she hold classes on how to build, paint, and play so you will be well on your way to mini war gaming. I wont spend my money anywhere else.

Went to get a magazine, it is a good place for game afficianados.

This store used to be family friendly. That is unfortunately no longer the case. Store now has a strong boys club vibe that frequently never fails to dehumanize women, games arent happening as scheduled, sales seem to be the main focus, which is fine if you dont need help beyond that. Conversations frequently make both my partner and I feel uncomfortable. Overall very disappointing experiences under new management. Will not recommend to my family or friends in the future.

Steve is friendly and helpful with questions about painting. Havent played a game there in years but I like stopping by to buy modeling supplies.

Came to this games workshop this wednesday at 5 53pm to find it closed. This isnt the first time I find it closed. Seriously, Ive come to this joint more often closed than it being open. Im a rare goer, but when I do I expect it to be at least open.

Id rate the store higher but the hours have been kind of erratic, seems like every time Im in the area and want to stop by its closed. :(

Good community

Bought a paint set on sat and when I got it home I discovered most of the paints were dried out. Went back to exchange it and the store closed 2 hours early and doesnt reopen till Tuesday
