These guys really seem to be super competent and honest. Theyve, so far, give me excellent advice and only charged a tiny bit considering the amount of time theyve spent on my truck. I will most definitely go back to them if/when needed.

Took our Subaru Crosstrek there on recommendation from Discount Tires when we needed new studs before our tires could be replaced. The guys at Tire Town were super friendly and up front about everything. Ended up needing new hub assemblies and brakes on the front which they called and asked about with all quotes before starting any work. Could not be more satisfied with the work done.

Wow!! Amazing service!Bought a new-to-me sports sedan, and opted for a resonator delete for a bit more sound from the factory exhaust. DAVE was extremely professional over the phone, explaining to me the basics and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Upon arrival, staff greeted and assisted me promptly and enthusiastically. While I waited, the owners made friendly conversation and even showed me their well-kept Honda S2000!! I will start by saying this was my go to shop, great people maybe it still is who knows. As for me Ive made my last visit. Thanks Dave for making me feel like you didnt want my business or were trying to get as much out of as you could. In the past when I needed some type of machine work or specialty work done, I go here.Stopped by this morning to see how much they would charge me for a weld job. Instead of listening to what I exactly needed from them, dave checked the car and gave me 2 quotes and I was ok with that. So before I could tell him which option he begin asking questions about not having taken the part off. Before I could tell him I was waiting to see what I would need to do to get the best price.I work on my own and family member cars. Normally I would refer them to tire town or take what ever parts necessary there for fitment etc. Then install the part back on the vehicles.For some reason when I chose the lesser option and explained that at the higher price I could just order two new replacement parts and bolt them on. So chose the lesser price. Dave walked off with an attitude like he didnt need/want my business and I didnt make clear the service option I wanted.. to speak with someone else pulling onto the lot.I guess my 45 dollars didnt mean much.Needless to say I will go ahead and order the 2 new parts thanks Dave for helping realize that I need to find another shop to work with.

This is by far the best automotive repair shop in Tallahassee. They easily have the nicest, most helpful staff Ive ever experienced along with QUICK service. I got a nail in my tire and was in a hurry to get it fixed,I first went to Tires Plus on Tennessee and they tried to completely rip me off and tell me a needed a new tire for $200 + when I just had gotten 4 new tires from them less than a couple months ago. This is when I decided to go to Tire Town and they patched it in less than 10 minutes with a price that cannot be beat. I will never be going to another auto shop again, cant praise this place enough!

Went here to patch up a tire after trying to be scammed into buying all new tires at Tire Kingdom. They got the job done in under 10min for 15$ 👍

DO NOT TAKE YOU CAR HERE!! You will thank me later. The guys up front are very polite and courteous and seem knowledgeable but do not trust them. I took my 08 F150 up to get a flow-master muffler welded in place of my stock muffler using my stock tailpipe. I explained to the guy up front that I had a 2.5 inch stock exhaust size and I would like a 2.5 inch in/out flow-master welded in place. He proceeded to tell me that he only had a 2.25 muffler available and then he got under my truck and told me that I actually had 2.25 inch exhaust. I knew this was not the case and explained I wanted a 2.5 inch muffler. He welded up a 2.25 inch muffler and 2.25 pipe and welded it all together to my stock 2.5 inch tailpipe. The next day I got under my truck and discovered that I had three exhaust leaks and the muffler they installed had a hole in the top of it and was actually an old used muffler that they spray painted silver to look new. I called them and he told me he would weld the hole in the top of the muffler so it would leak and thats all he could do. What a rip off!! These guys will take your cash and perform crap work and sale you used parts for the same price as new!!! BEWARE!!

Drove here from St Louis in my F150 Ford truck. Started making bad muffler noises south if Birmingham. Took to Tallahassee Ford Lincoln. Bill in service suggested Tire town and muffler who could fix it faster and cheaper. Got great service at a reasonable price. Highly recommend both places

I always get excellent service from Tire Town & Muffler. They can work on just about everything automotive so I go there for all my auto repairs. Do expect a wait time; it isnt a secret that they do good work and have lower labor rates than the competition so theyre always busy but its well worth it. I dont trust anyone else with my vehicles.

These guys are the best. The cost of the repair was exactly what they said it would be. On the way home I noticed a minor problem; I didnt even have to ask, they said theyd fix it, which is, in my experience, not the usual response from a mechanic. Plus, their shuttle service is excellent, the driver is way cool and fun to talk to.

I have taken my 92 Acura Integra and my wifes 07 Mazda Miata to be repaired here on several occassions.These folks have lots of heart and soul.They provide a great service at a great price. As such, their services are in high demand. For best service, I recommend going early in the day and not on Friday.There are some highly technical aspects of car repair I would never ask these pros to do, that are best left to the dealership mechanics.Going to some national repair shop, I was quoted over $1,000 for my muffler repair on my Acura. They would have offered a lifetime warrantly, but I dont need one.Tire Town saved me over $500 dollars.

I brought my car into to have an oil leak diagnosed, and replace a faulty oil pan. They replaced the gasket and oil pan and I provided the parts. It was still leaking so I returned it several times over the next few months and they tightened the bolts, and another time they replaced the gasket and pan again with my supplied parts.Then they convinced me that the Rear Main seal was the partial cause of the oil leaks also, and they charged me to replace the Rear Main and suggested that the crank shaft probably had a groove formed under the seal and that a product called a Repair Sleeve would be needed. I purchased the parts and they did the work. When they started up the car the oil leave from the rear main was pouring out!! They had put the repair sleeve in improperly, so I had to go and purchase another one.I showed them the manufactures procedures for installing the sleeve, and the owners father got mad at me and told me to get the hell out and not to tell them how to do their job! They did not follow the manufacturer procedure for repair and it still leaks a small amount.When I returned to pick up the car to guarantee that it was not leaking, due to this being about the 4th time I had to return, the owner Dave REFUSED to let me inspect the car and demanded only cash, no check, no credit card, then he told me that the work would NOT be guaranteed either and took the keys hostage.I reluctantly paid the bill and drove a few blocks and inspected the underneath and found that it was still leaking!!!I immediately took the car to Der Meister auto repair who inspected the car for free, and we filmed the condition underneath. It had 5 oil pan nuts that were loose and leaking. Der Meister tightened up the nuts to spec and two wouldnt tighten at all because they were tight as could be.When I drove off I also found that the car wouldnt shift gears when it was running! They had let air into the clutch lines when the installed the Clutch while they did the rear main. I called them the next day as it was after 5pm now, and they told me to drive it to their shop and they would look at it!! Seriously! Drive it there! To have these idiots work on it again!?I had paid Tire Town and Muffler to stop the oil pan leaks, and apparently they wouldnt guarantee the Repair Sleeve work. The oil pan was still leaking. And they refused to fix it.I had Honda Dealership inspect and they determined that the oil pan was leaking and removed the lock washers that Tire Town and Muffler had put on the pan, and this appeared to stop the leak. Upon inspection the gasket was torn in several places, in the exact locations of the leaking nuts observed prior when Der Meister looked at it.Tire town refused to reimburse me for charging me and the repair not being completed, and them refusing to work on the car further.These people are scum. Do not take your car there!!They lied about what had happened, were not capable of changing an oil pan and gasket, nor putting on a repair sleeve properly.

At 4 pm they no longer receive jobs such us an oil change, next block on Adams I got it on 15 minutes and cheapest.

Dont ever go to this place! They will take your money and do horrible, over priced work. They welded my Exhaust so horribly that the weld cracked soon after. They also charged me 400 dollars for a 30 dollars part that took 5 minutes to fix.
