She did a great job. I went in for something else but it was to much money so I decided to get my hand tattoo re done. It was Much needed!! She did amazing. I am so in love with it. She added her own little touches to it!!!

They were so kind and warm, I felt comfortable and welcome getting my piercings here. They were all professional and I could tell they were experienced and knew what they were doing; they also walked through piercing after-care according to my personal schedule and demonstrated that they actually cared. 10/10 I would recommend their services to anyone.

Kody is honestly the best tattoo artist ever. I’ve gotten 3 tattoos from him, all which have precise lines and he took his time to make sure the placement was perfect. I 1000% recommend him and will definitely be coming back for more:)

Props to the chill atmosphere and good customer service (free water, free candy, good music, good vibes). Now, I would sit here and list all the negatives of my experience and the little details as to why, but thats really not the hill Im willing to die on. However, this seems to be a decent establishment with a lot of potential for someone else to have a better experience than I did. To clarify, I only come to leave an honest review so people like me can enlighten themselves and choose wisely before they decide to spend their money and time at this establishment.

Maggie may did an incredible job with my tattoo. she was so incredibly sweet and designed my tattoo exactly how I imagined it to be.

Kody with a K was really awesome! He took a drawing I did and turned it into a tattoo. I honestly expected him to adapt it to his style, but he was so excited that I drew it at work earlier that day with a friend. It turned out wonderful and it was awesome getting to know him. Excited to come back!

I have never left a bad review for a place but this one is pretty deserving of one. I received a tattoo by Jay @tatsbyjayy_I shouldve known when they made me pay BEFORE the tattoo that little quality would be put into it, I tipped 20% as well expecting the service following would match the faith I had in it tipping 20% before. I was definitely overpaying for what I was getting too (especially since it was not an original design it was one I found on pinterest) but I have no problem paying over if I receive good work (I work in the service industry, I get it)However, Jay rushed through my tattoo, only finishing it in 2.5 hours and I paid $480. For an amateur artist, ~$200 an hour is insane.Anyways, I thanked him and went on my way. He said it would be $150 more for retouch and shading when I had already felt cheated. But 8 weeks has passed and I see my tattoo now and the linework (which is all I received) is not well done. Some lines are very dark, some are so faint they arent there. None of my other tattoos have healed like this and my suspicions were confirmed when another reviewer on here receiving a tattoo by Jay said the same thing. I talked to the reviewer through instagram and he said he had to pay $400 to get his $140 tattoo covered. Jay also added lines not in the original design without asking to this customer as HE DID FOR ME TOO.I consulted Jay and he offered free shading but why should I trust his work anymore? He should have put 100% effort in the first place, not just when a customer is unsatisfied. He even agreed the session was priced wrong, shown in the screenshot but no offer of a partial refund. I then contacted the shop and talked to manager, Jenny Duffy. She was extremely rude and condescending from the beginning, even as I explained my situation calmly and reasonably. How unprofessional of a tattoo shop to handle the situation as poorly as she did. Stay far away from this shop, it is extremely toxic and I will be going elsewhere to get retouch and shading properly.

Kody did an amazing job! I messaged him on Instagram and he answered me in not even 5 minutes, we discussed my design and he got me in later that same day. After the first initial tattoo he even agreee to finish the shading on one of my older tattoos. 12/10 a great guy and definitely will be going back.

Kody has been an amazing tattoo artist for the three times I’ve had work done by him. His line work is clean, he maintains a comfortable environment in his workspace and lightens up the mood with his humor. I always leave my appointments with my expectations far exceeded!

I came here for a piercing a few months back, got my septum pierced by Dan and had an awful experience.First, my piercing isnt even close to being properly placed, it goes through the cartilage at the base of my nostrils, way lower than it should be. This being my first piercing, I didnt know any better, but recently Ive had it assessed by a real professional who agreed.Dan made comments about how much he hated the tools he was using, how it liked to pinch, and he could never get a grip on it. It made me uncomfortable but I let it slide, thinking it could be a bad joke, again first piercing.Then he must have missed or messed up, because he had to stick the same needle in twice. Once he finally got the needle all the way through my nose, it started bleeding like a faucet. Dan even said something along the lines of Well thats not supposed to happen. No, really?! Could have fooled me.I dont recommend people come here for piercings, they mess up and hope you are dumb enough to not notice. I payed for professional work, but got results akin to a drunk friend with a needle going I got you bro! in the kitchen at 3am. No real professional would have allowed this to walk out of their studio.

I had Hunter do my belly button piercing and he was amazing! Painless, easy, and so comforting!! Would definitely recommend coming here for piercings!

Devyn is an amazing tattoo artist. Super sweet and very professional. I’m glad she was the artist to do my first tattoo! It was easy to set an appointment, and I had a new tattoo within a few days! This tattoo only took about 20 minutes, and the lines and shading are very precise. I highly recommend Devyn, especially if you are looking for a beautiful floral design!

Great atmosphere, Great people and the place is very clean. I hate to do this but the tattoo I got over the weekend was horrible it looks like nothing the picture I gave the tattoo artist. This is the worst tattoo I’ve ever had and I really support this place because I got my first tattoo here years ago by Adam the owner that died years ago. Hurts to say now I have to find another tattoo artist to cover this up. My tattoo looks nothing like the picture I gave him. Still this is a great establishment to visit.

Patience was the BEST! I loved everything about her. She was very easy on the piercing. I have always loved piercing and Patience just restored that love! My nose piercing was effortless and I definitely enjoyed instructions for after care. She provided verbal and tangible instructions. I particularly enjoyed the ambiance of the waiting area. I definitely will be back in 2 weeks for my visit with Patience. Highly recommend ❗

Note: This tattoo is about 3 weeks old, and I paid $140 for it.Attached is the reference photo I provided to my tattoo artist, Jay (@tatsbyjayy_).To make things simple, I am just gonna run through all my problems with this tattoo, as I have many thoughts.To begin- As you can see, Jay took the liberty to connect many of the lines I specifically designed to have gaps. The entire tattoo has healed very unevenly, with some lines being super bold and some being barely visible.While being tattoo’d, without consulting me, Jay added a line not in the original sketch. He also did not consult me before placing the stencil, he literally just placed it on my arm.Finally, he concluded the session by answering a phone call and not saying a single word- literally he just waved goodbye? I will without a doubt have to get this tattoo touched up, which is extremely frustrating considering I paid $140 for it. I do not intend on returning to to Capitol City for tattoos and would honestly like a partial refund.I would suggest NOBODY go to Capitol City for tattoos.

I went to Capital City a few months ago for my first tattoo and it was a very profession yet fun atmosphere and I had a great experience going there. Kody was my artist and he did a GREAT job and made my ladybug actually look like it was walking and was very articulate about the details of the tattoo. I would definitely recommend Kody at Capital City if you want a great tattoo and great service!

I had a great experience at CCT. I was SO nervous about getting my eyebrow pierced and everyone inside was so cool and supportive. Getting pierced was a breeze. They did a great job. Would definitely recommend them.

Me and three other girls were out on a girls night looking for all of us to get tattoos. We called around and visited one shop that had the WORST customer service and honestly spelt like pee. We stumbled across Capital City Tattooz and immediately felt welcome and loved the atmosphere of the shop. All four of us had artist Kody. He joked and cut up with us. He was smooth and painless with the tattoos we got. He let us review the placement of the stencil and allowed us to move it around how we wanted to make sure we were happy before starting. He gave care instructions and suggestions on what to get to clean the tattoos. My script is clean looking and looks great!

Maggie May did my husbands tattoo and it was such a great experience. Maggie was sweet and professional and her office was clean organized and comfortable. The tattoo it’s self is just incredible. the color is so bold and bright! While I think she charged a bit more than I’m used to I have to it’s well worth the money. I have several color tattoos and none of them ever looked as bright as my husbands. I plan to get my next tattoo from her as well. Can’t recommend her enough.

I went to kody to get my first tattoo and he was amazing!! He was so friendly and sweet, I am definitely going to get more tattoos from him!!

I worked with Kody, and got a script tattoo on my bicep. I showed him the reference picture of font and he did a good job matching it for me and getting the stencil for it. I asked to rearrange the stencil from up and down to make it more horizontal and he gaslighted me for “making him do more work” and I “should’ve told him that in the first place”, when he didn’t even ask any questions about what I wanted it to look like. On second thought I would have liked this tattoo to be a little smaller but It’ll be fine I’ll have another artist do some work to add some art to the piece. This was my first tattoo and there was about a 2 minute debrief on care, he handed me bandage and recommended me a brand of soap which was nice. Had to google that I should avoid working out for about a week. Thank god I didn’t learn that the hard way. Other than that he was a cool guy and it was done well.

I loved this place. Kody did such a good job and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend. Was such a comfortable environment.

When I was looking for a place to get my first tattoo done, I was referred to here. I got into contact with one of the artists, Kody, and he was beyond helpful throughout the entire process of planning and getting my first tattoo. He helped explain everything and I felt thoroughly informed. Not only was his customer service exceptional, but his work and the product itself, were AMAZING. Since then I have gone back and gotten a 2nd piece done by him, and I am beyond pleased with how they both came out. The place itself is also great, friendly employees and an overall welcoming atmosphere, Will continue to return to this establishment and Kody for all my future works. 10/10.

From the outside it doesnt look like much, but friendly employees and a great atmosphere greeted us when we entered. Beautiful place, great atmosphere. They were taking walk-ins when we went and got us in right away. Our artist Kody knew exactly what we wanted, and was super patient when we were deciding on the placement. He was also very funny, which made our experience even better. We will definitely go back.

I thought I had already left a review here but let me right one again to really emphasize how terrible my experience was. I got my tattoo on may 26th and my skin is still raised and painful to the touch. The big blonde girl that did my tattoo kept insisting it just had to be that deep. I don’t know what she was thinking. The line work is god awful. I really regret letting her do it. She’s a pretty bad tattoo artist.

I had an appointment with an artist in your shop and when we got there we sat for over an hour waiting for this artist. He didnt bother to come and talk to us to let us know whats up, very unprofessional. Its not the shops fault, but they should not rent space to artist like that it gives them a bad name. There is much better more professional artist out there that could use that space. That artist was not all that, Ive seen his work!

I met with Maggie to get two tattoos done & she was very professional and very welcoming. She honestly made me feel comfortable. I will definitely recommend capital city tattoos to anyone wanting to get work done and also feel comfortable. Maggie is a very professional artist and will definitely be my next go to artist when I want something else.

I’ve had a couple tattoos done by Maggie, one by Ashley(who moved to no regrets) and one by Cody. None of my experiences were anything less than exceptional. They get you checked in and your paperwork done very fast and the artists are professionals at making you feel comfortable! I’ve had tattoos from a couple other shops but Capital City is hands down my favorite.

I love this place!! The customer service is great!! The staff really are welcoming and warming. I got inked by Maggie May and she is amazing!!! She is not heavy handed and her line work is neat and clean. She was very professional and quick!! Her room/space is very very clean and very therapeutic which makes it very calming to get tattooes by her. First time getting inked by her and before I left I set my next appointment!!! I recommend setting an appointment for her specifically. I also picked up a few different piercing jewelry and Juanita was super welcoming!! Jist a great energy in this place!! Definitely will be recommending this spot to everyone!!!

I came in stressed about my nose ring not being able to go back in because of the angle it was pierced at. I was also extra stressed over my job not allowing face jewelry. However, Dan came to my rescue and I can’t help but be so thankful. He was able to get me a flesh toned nose ring that actually matched my skin and get it through safely and as least painful as possible. I’d recommend Dan to anyone for any piercing. Extremely comforting and reassuring, he won’t give up on your piercing if he doesn’t have to! Thank you Dan!!

My artist was Jayy and he did an amazing job. Their prices aren’t outrageous. It was my 3rd tattoo and compared to my other two it was a fraction of the price. Plus everyones friendly and they let you know the price upfront so they can’t try to overcharge after it’s done. I’m wicked picky about what companies I give my business to but as long as I’m living in Tallahassee this is the place I’m going.

My first time going to Capital City Tattooz and I loved it! I got there right when they opened as a walk-in and I was able to get in and out in like 30-40 mins since it wasn’t too busy! The staff is was so welcoming and friendly. My tattoo artist was Kody and he was so friendly. He did such a quick and amazing job! I didn’t really feel much pain since the environment was just so comforting and chill. I even recommended Kody to my husband so that he can go to him for his first tattoo! It’s a great place, you won’t regret it if you go.
