Ive been here twice in the last two weeks (it had been years prior to this), and Ive loved every sip of both of my coffee drinks. Will definitely be back, eager to try some more of their specialty drinks!

Great coffee... 2nd visit to this business, 2nd location visited. Both have been a pleasant experience. Parking was a bit of a challenge.

This was my second visit. It was a great experience each time. Although, it has been 4 years in between. The coffee espresso was amazing each time so smooth it was a latte made with almond milk with an extra shot of espresso caramel latte.

Thank you to Red Eye for making me feel safe popping in for my favorite drinks for me and my family and yummy treats to go. All the baristas (Tiffany gave us a World Class Service Always) gives World Class Service! We Recommend Red Eye flavors brewed there and at a great price, too! We Love it! Thank you.

The best coffee shop to work in (like working on your laptop; Im not a redeye employee lol)! Its a much more relaxing environment now that they redesigned the interior (used to be very high-contrast & unsettling red, white, and black. Now its calming shades of blue & green). The natural lighting also makes it a nice work environment -- way better than my windowless grad student office. Theres always plenty of open seating and outlets at every table (not the case at the other midtown coffee shops). The coffee is great & they have unique options (like rosemary caramel and lavender vanilla!). They also have a rewards program so you can earn free coffees or merch if you go regularly. Staff is super friendly! :)

Coffee was great and servers were very friendly. A bit pricy for my taste but thats pretty much par for the course when it comes to cafes. I would still definitely come back though.

Great atmosphere, the staff are super Duper friendly, and the chai latte is over-the-top. Fresh coffee and location keep me coming back. I recommend this place and I think you would love it too.

Attention: Redeye serves Cuban coffee!This place was recommended to me by a friend who said it was a great place to do work or study while sipping on some tea or coffee. Yes, thats pretty much what everybody sitting here is doing whenever Im there so this seems more like a work place than anything else.The coffee is really good. Their menu is pretty big and they have some good free-trade coffee options. I was most impressed that they have Cuban coffee and their cortadito is excellent. They also have the option to have almond or soy milk which I love since I usually get my coffee with almond milk.Really convenient place with delicious coffee. Win-win.

I love being able to walk to Midtown RedEye and grab my favorite Chia Tea Latte or the Lavender Vanilla iced coffee, seriously both are go to drinks! Also the staff is so friendly and always makes me welcome and love their loyalty reward program. RedEye is just wonderful!

Love their coffee and muffins. The barista was knowledgeable and efficient. This will be my go to place from now on. I especially like they use locally owned businesses for most of their products.

Coffee was good not great. It was missing something. Was a little thin. The store is immaculately clean, some interesting flavor combinations in other beverages. It is a good place to go! People that work there are friendly.

Good coffee. When I go to one of these joints I like to get something special that I wouldnt ordinarily attempt to make myself. So, I get the cortadito which is very good but very sweet. There are always people studying or reading and it comes off as very coffee shop but not too artsy fartsy. Also, its local and has some eco angle if that stuff makes you feel good.

Red Eye is my first choice in Tally to support local business and ethically sources teas and coffees! Theyre iced lattes are the best, the dirty chai is amazing, but the best part is the overall team moral and how much their managing partner does for our local community. Their ability to meet the needs of homebound clients is equally impressive! Since the Pandemic started, theyve offered to-go, partnered with a local chef to offer delivery brunch and coffees, and have truly taken CDC Guidance to heart when it comes to brick and mortar options. 10/10 recommend

Terrible experience every time for the past month. I’ve waited 20 minutes each time for a coffee at 7:30am with one person ahead of me. Today they made the wrong coffee, wrong milk wrong flavor, and they didn’t bother to apologize and made me wait another 10 minutes for a new coffee. I will only go to lucky goat from now on.

This is the perfect meeting location to share your favorite coffee just the way you like it. They aim to please! The atmosphere is warm and inviting. We can get lost in a conversation before noticing that an hour has escaped us😉

That triple cubano was to die for

I was a regular at the Red Eye in Bannerman Crossing‘s. I loved the people there, the vibe, and the coffee. I would go there multiple times a week. Since they’ve closed, I started going to the Midtown location more. After today I won’t be. The environment is great, but something has changed.Some of the people there are not friendly. I will get my coffee with soy milk/almond milk and if I double check to make sure they made the coffee with it because they charged me extra, they get frustrated when they have to remake it. I also think they don’t know how to make some of the coffee because what I get does not taste like it used to. The two times I’ve gotten my coffee from here, it taste so bad I want a refund. But because the people that work there are so unfriendly I’m too scared to ask for it. Not mad, just disappointed.

This is my favorite coffee shop in Tallahassee. The coffee is always on point and the staff is so kind. They always have a good attitude. You can even rent it out as a venue on Sundays. Its a beautiful spot too. I rented it out for a baby shower and it was perfect!

Chill vibes and an amazing atmosphere. Their iced chai latte is incredibly good and theyre run by people of faith. They even let my friends and I smoke cigarettes, whether we buy anything or simply wanna hang out. Better place to study than Starbucks too!

Very good coffee and more than adequate seating, so you dont have to resent folks using the coffee shop as an office. Also, right across the street from Midtown Reader, the best bookstore around.

The Midtown location is bustling around 3pm. I would recommend it for social gatherings (Ive met there with a knitting/crochet group frequently) but not necessarily for quiet work/study. If youre hoping for that environment I have been told their other location, on Capital Circle, would be more conducive. They make a delicious chai latte and offer non-dairy alternatives like coconut milk. The owner really cares about feedback, so if you have any input Id encourage you to reach out! Absolutely the best coffee in Tallahassee! I roast my own beans at home, so I can be a little particular. When I am not drinking my own coffee, I go to RedEye. Both the dark and medium roast coffees are excellent, and always fair trade. Every server I have had over the years has been very pleasant and attentive -- not in the disingenuous, over-the top way that you can find at other popular coffee shops. I give RedEye my strongest recommendation!

I had a mocha latte and it was excellent. Loved it. Wish I had time to sit and enjoy instead of taking it to go. I highly recommend.

This place is super cozy and a great spot in Midtown to relax, catch up with friends and study. Their coffee is organic, so theyre a gem in my book. The staff is friendly and helpful! I will definitely be frequenting more often. I havent tried their food, as Im a vegan but their coffee is delicious and I feel like this shop is over looked.

First time there, the dude was so nice and all smiles, and I received a warming welcoming. I ordered a drink they did not have on the menu but he was all too happy to make it for me anyway. I always have good coffee here but I have to recommend ordering a dirty chai latte! It tastes like Christmas in a cup. Easily my favorite drink on the rare occasion we get some cool weather.

Checked out this coffeeshop for the first time today. I had the iced lavender vanilla latte and it was really good. The place is spacious with plenty of room to study or meet up with people. Menu prices are comparable to similar places and theres wifi available which is nice.I first came here while on the Whole 30, and was happy to find an option that was free of sugar + dairy (Hello nitro cold brew!) Ive since returned a few times and tried some of the more sweet and creamy offerings.

I dont know why they have a carpenter working inside with such a big noise like gunshots and a giant saw at the moment (10.04 am). The shop is closed on Sunday, so simply invite this gentleman on that day or at night to do his work? More commonsense guys, more common sense...

Overall, one of the best coffee shops in town that I seem to have overlooked for far too long. Redeye has so much to offer as both a place to hang out with friends and a spot to buckle down and get some work done. The coffee menu is extensive, serving up so much more than just the same coffee with the same bland flavor as youll find at any Starbucks. The atmosphere is a bit upscale and definitely attracts a working crowd from downtown to go along with it, but still welcomes any student with open arms. Yet, the food menu, as a cafe, is rather short, so be prepared to bring your own sandwich or pop into Midtown Pies or Taco Republik if you start to feel peckish after awhile.

I love their coffee. Some of the employees are rude. There was a girl working there that complained that customers kept coming in so she couldnt do her homework. If i based it on the employees they would get a -5, but I do love their coffee.

I like the idea of using only Equal Exchange coffee, however, personally- I dont like taste of EE so I stay away from the coffee drinks. The staff seemed too bothered to answer my questions but it was generally a pleasant spot. Parking is difficult

Nice spot.More seating inside and outside than the average coffee shop.Wi-fi and a printer are available. That’s cool.Baristas are friendly and happy to provide suggestions.Only two lounge chairs in the entire cafe. Everything else is hard seating.

I just had the best raspberry coffee that the world has ever tasted it was so delicious. The people that work there are super kind and you feel like you are just at a friends house as you have such a relaxing atmosphere.

Great place to get away from the college side of town and one of the best coffee brews in the area. I come here several times a week. Just be aware the shop is visited by a disproportionate amount of religious people.

The chai latte is incredibly yummy. For those who dont drink cows milk, I am not sure if there are any dairy-free milks, though.

With excellent coffee and just the right amount of white noise chatter, the popular RedEye Coffee offers a great atmosphere to sit down and read a book, send some emails, or complete the weeks homework. The establishment is very environmentally conscious and puts heavy emphasis on their fair trade coffee and ethical practices. RedEye is far enough from Tallahassees universities to feel like youre getting away from the clutter of the city, but close enough to be home in a few songs off youre playlist. If you are in Tallahassee and are looking to try a trusted, local, coffee shop, head north to RedEye.
