OMG! What can I say about this place? Its purr-a-dise for cat lovers! So fun to love on and play with the kitties here! The hot chocolate was rich and chocolaty and the muffins were delicious. Definitely will come back if I ever visit Tallahassee again. ❤️🐈❤️

Maska are required to get in. Make sure to have a reservation or you will not be able to get in. Go online and reserve a time to visit. Great for family visits if you like cats and Lucky Goat Coffee. The cats are in a separate room so no cat hair when you walk in. Bring a lint roller so after hugging bunch of cats you can clean the cat hair before you get back in your car. Not much parking at front so look for parking on the aide of the building. Good place to spend some family time. They have good doughnuts.

Had a tasty lavender matcha latte here! And my friend enjoyed the tiramisu latte. We did not end up going into the cat lounge but we loved watching the cats while drinking our coffees. They have a wonderful wide variety of cat-themed drinks with plenty of dairy-free options.

Every time I come here I end up angry. I thought this time would be different because the first girl we encountered was very sweet. Young and blond. I went with my son and grandchildren. I waited at the observation area. I poked my head in the cat area careful to make sure no cat escaped. I said one sentence to my son and ducked out- another employee told me that it was against the rules and I should text or call him. Really shocking. I could understand if there was a surgery going on. She’s always rigid and rude

This is a Cafe with an attached room with cats you can be ignored by and pay for the pleasure of it.I mean, if you had a bunch of strangers wanting to put their grubby meat-mitts all over you all day, Im sure youd treat them like the peasants they are as well.Its a wonderful place that has helped so many cats get adopted. I get to take my kids there and they get their kitty fix and I dont have to clean out any damn litterboxes. 5/5 would pay to go there again.

A cute cafe providing two of the best things ever in one place: coffee and kitties!Stopping in finally have a year of following them on social media and seeing all of the adoptions theyve helped to facilitate, I enjoyed the experience, even if I was coming in just to drink coffee, study, and play with the cats. Serving up local Lucky Goat coffee, everything was reasonably priced and had cute cat accents to names and the drinks themselves. The busyness of the cafe seems to depend on the day, so you will want to book online/check in advance to see if there is room available. We enjoyed the visit with the cats for an hour ($7 per person) and loved on them to our hearts content. They have a variety of ages, which is nice, as you can either relax with the older, sleepier cats on your lap or play with the energetic kittens.Overall, I enjoyed the experience and will definitely be back! I may not be looking for a new cat right now, but the Tally Cat Cafe provides the quality cuddle time with the kitties that I miss!

I didnt know what to expect on my first visit to Tally Cat Cafe but I must say, I am very happy with the experience. Even though the cat visiting was full, the coffee was amazing and the staff was extremely friendly. I will be back with my child VERY soon, but may make an appointment just to be sure to get a chance to cuddle with these totally adoptable fur babies.

I stopped in to check out the soft opening of Tallahassees newest cat cafe. I absolutely loved it and will be back to visit! Beautiful decor, friendly, enthusiastic staff and a welcoming environment. I felt so relaxed here and the kitties were gorgeous. The barista made me a wonderful mocha latte that had peanut butter! Each item in the drink menu was named after a different breed of cat which I found so precious! What a creative touch. If their soft opening is this awesome than I can imagine what good things they plan to do once they get their footing!

Tally Cat is the best! They’re doing such a wonderful service to our community by helping find furever homes for these adorable cats. I love the concept, the decor and the delicious cat themed coffee drinks! Especially the cat foam face, what a lovely touch. It’s a great place to wind down after work, go on a date or bring the kiddos. They also do movie nights and cat yoga sessions too. If you just want to work on your computer and not be in the cat room then there’s a separate area you can do that while still be able to view the action through their nice big window. It’s definitely a must if you’ve never been. You won’t regret it!

The ladies that run this place are the nicest and most welcoming people ever! If youre looking to cuddle with some kitties while you study, sip coffee, and enjoy a treat, all while in great company this is the place for you! And if youre ready you can even adopt a kitty! We adopted our cat from here and have definitely been spreading the word.

I went to a movie night and it was incredibly fun. The cats were super playful and one even fell asleep on me. The place is overall super comforting and extremely inviting. Friendly cats, amazing hot chocolate and coffee, great prices, AND FEMALE OWNED!!!! Also it has a really cute picture area. 10/10 highly recommend and I wish I could rate it above 5 stars. I will definitely be coming back

I love this place! they offer deals on mondays, tuesdays, and wednesday so thats when I usually go. they also have movie and game nights on fridays and saturdays! you should definitely reserve online before you go! the kitties are very sweet. my roommate is deathly allergic, so I had to leave my baby at home with my dad. I miss her, but it helps visiting the cat cafe. the staff are friendly and sometimes they will be in the room to tell you about the cats. the coffee/lemonade is pretty good. they also have lint rollers for when you leave. highly reccommend! :)

We went Sunday, the 11th @ 3. The kittens were so much fun, so sweet, sleepy and cute. I brought my grandmother, brother, and mom & they had a nice time! The coffee was good too.But, the service we received and how we were greeted was not- which was so surprising. The way she spoke to us and looked at us was rude, condescending..it made me very uncomfortable and even my mom picked up on it. We won’t be back.

This is the cutest place ever. Not only are the staff always so nice, but you can also see that there is a sense of community here bounded by the love of cats that feels missing from modern Tallahassee these days. The place is always in tip-top shape and of course, the coffee is always great; the barista even makes a little cat face with the milk foam! Its those little details that make this place awesome. Its a place I come with my significant other to unwind and let me tell you there is no other place that does that better than here. One day I may just take one of the furballs home because all the cats there are up for adoption! I highly recommend this place. Even if youre allergic like me. Just take some allergy meds before!

Abby was such a kind Cat caretaker and Coffee Maker! She had a wonderful personality and was so personable when I said I loved older cats, she introduced me to Gracie, a 12 yr cat. I think Ill be filling out an adoption paper just because of her help and introduction to such a loving cat. Thank you Abby!

This place is so cute! I showed up without booking, so I wasnt able to hang out with the cats today, but I booked for Wednesday and am so excited to go back! Its a fun place to hang out with friends even when you arent playing with cats, which is exactly what I did today.

Absolutely adorable! Coffee and food are completely separate from the cat room, so its also very hygienic. Met some adorable cats! I might have to come back and adopt one. Really helpful staff. You can tell they love the cats and want to give them the best life possible.

The coffee here is to die for! They serve Lucky Goat coffee and each drink has a cute cat-related name. The cat area is extremely clean so drinking your coffee with the cats is permitted. I’ve been to this place so many times I’ve lost count!

My husband and I scheduled a reservation for 10am. We were met by friendly staff who took our drink order and said they would bring our drinks to the cat room and to head on in. The kitties were adorable and playful, the drinks were delicious, and the staff was very polite and friendly. We will definitely be going for weekend dates on the regular. Definitely recommend!

This place is my children’s happy place!!! We have been several times and it is clean, and the cats are always so happy when we go. The staff has always been really helpful when asking questions. We will continue visiting because we love the cause and the cats!As far as menus items their vegan donuts and iced tea (it was a floral type tea) are very good!

Only reason its not 5 stars is the cost. My kids and I LOVE coming here, but there is no family or kids rate. Just a flat hourly per person fee. That gets pricey for such a short outing. Nonetheless we still visit, just very infrequently.

I went to Tally Cat Cafe for my birthday present to myself. It is decorated really fun cut cat themed. I had chai really yummy they put a cute paw print on top of the drink.The cat room is neat. Several cats hanging out. Some are friendlier than other. Several where brand new and were adjusting to the environment. I made Friends with Skitty she quite and just wanted to hang out.I had fun time.

Truly love coming here! The cats are always sweet and excited to play or even just lounge with you. It’s a beautiful space and the staff are always kind and informative of all the cats there! Super easy to book an appointment for the cafe, the coffee is great, and the price for admission is awesome!! Will definitely be returning to hopefully bring home a friend!

Simply just can’t say enough about this amazing place! This coffee and drinks are all delicious and the staff throughout the entire place are so wonderful. It’s super clean always, and you can truly tell every person working there loves every one of the kitties they have for adoption. Plus supporting them supports a great cause with portions of the very reasonable entry fee into the cat lounge area, going back to the Leon County Humane Society. Which by the way is in partnership with Tally Cat Cafe and is a no kill facility too! Even if you can’t adopt please do yourself a tremendous favor and go visit for some great pet therapy, grab a drink, and go share some relaxing time with the most beautiful kitties of all ages! You simply can’t go wrong !

New employee had not been properly trained on the importance of hand cleaning when dealing with food especially during a pandemic. She was attempting to put my tea bag in the water after putting water in the cup and put her fingers on the tea bag and in the water. All done without her hands being washed. I initially left feeling defeated, but decided to go back and speak with the manager. When I walked in someone in the store said, oh no. That is a statement I have gotten very accustomed to being a Black woman that desires basic respect. The manger was very short and dismissive. I was given the items ordered remade cleanly the second time around, but the service was less than desired. It would take a lot for me to want to visit Tally Cat Cafe again.

The fact that they have found homes for hundreds of cats lets you know that every dollar you spend is truly going to a good cause. Definitely worth visiting if youre a local or just passing through Tallahassee!

Moving away to college can be a big change in somebody’s life. For me, I always grew up with at least 3 cats and dogs around me in my house at all times. When you move and live on your own, you start to realize just how important and therapeutic that affection you get from animals can be. After going to tally cat cafe a couple times now I’ve realized that even though I don’t have my own animals, this is a good place to come and feel that love. It’s a great environment with loving cats and really good coffee.

Best coffee shop experience, and the most adorable, most social cats youve ever met. Be careful there is a professional cat saleswoman who will make you go home with a cat. It is very hard to resist the overwhelming cuteness.

Where else can you spend a more relaxing hour? They cover all the scratching posts for amazing animal care and services, but for adults too. It is a tempting to want to adopt them all. If looking for shared passion of cats or some were a little different to relax, Tally Cat Cafe purrrfect!

The help here are NOT friendly...They act uninterested in customers and All help is rude...I have never been treated good here even the cats are un personable..They need to take customer service classes

Very fun if youre a kitty lover. The cafe is separate from the kitty room with large windows and a bar to sit at and watch the kitties play. There is a fee to go into the kitty room to play. All of them are up for adoption from the Humane Society. Perfect place to see their personalities if looking to adopt. The coffee served is Lucky Goat and pastries are brought in from Tasty Pastry and Donut Kingdom. Kathy, an employee there, was super pleasant and answered all my many questions. 😊

I sent my cousins in to Adopt a cat, management was really rude. Told my cousin to “tone the excitement down a notch” didn’t explain the process to them at all. It’s like they didn’t want to have the cat adopted. When I called to complain management told me “girls will cry when they can’t have something” there was nothing stopping them from having that cat except for your staff for no reason. There’s a way to say things and that definitely was not achieved with my cousins (in person) or with me (on the phone).

This is a fantastic, woman-owned business that I frequented often before becoming an employee, and am proud to work for! I still visit when I am off duty, and to me, that says a lot.Not only are the drinks creative and tasty, but the environment is really nice. The walls of the cafe are covered in cat art and photographs. The cat room is clean and odor-free. Weekdays are usually the best to visit as a college student to get schoolwork done and have a study break with the cats. Weekends are usually the busiest, so if you’re looking for a quieter time with the cats or to sit in the cafe, you can always look ahead online to see the estimated capacity of the cat room. The bathrooms are gender-neutral and all staff are LGBTQ+ friendly. The owners are also highly dedicated to the cats and finding them good homes as they always put their wellbeing above anything else.I highly recommend Tally Cat Cafe to anyone who loves cats or simply loves coffee. And if you love both, you definitely won’t be disappointed!

Best cat cafe I’ve ever been to.While it’s also the only cat cafe I’ve ever been to, this place really does stand out to me as fantastic. Tally cat cafe has an incredibly relaxing atmosphere and is a great place to get a cup of coffee and study even if you don’t want to play with the cats.

Well decorated, very instagramable. The cats were so sweet and fun to play with and hold, comfortable with humans. The cat ambassador lady in the cat room was very kind and knowledgeable. $7 is a fair price for 1 hour in the cat room with 20 cats. I felt reasonably safe with their covid precautions (masks required, 8 people allow in the cat room at a time). Kept thinking of how much fun my pitbull mix baby girl Ella would have chasing all the cats lol :/

I was incredibly impressed with this cat cafe. The cat lounge is clean and comfortable. The cats are super friendly and energetic, and I love coming here when I want to play with cats without the commitment of actually owning one. Most importantly, the staff is incredible!! Customer service is great, and you can tell the owners make the cats their upmost priority.

Best $7 Ive spent in months. Good coffee too. The cats are cute whether theyre fighting or snoozing so just go! Be sure to check online that they have openings since they let a limited number in at a time, though!

It was lots of fun playing with the kittens and the food was good. I wasnt crazy about the coffee, but otherwise it was great! E went when they were having a special event for Halloween and we carved pumpkins. Would be fun to go with a group.

We had a great time here. The coffee and tea and pastries were very good. The staff was very nice. We stayed for the $7 for on your of playing with the cats. Some cuddled and purred, some just ran around and played. It was a fun time out

Such a cute café with delicious drinks and a well-structured cat playroom! The $7/hr fee is to help provide for the cats, and it really shows. They have plenty of toys, cat trees, and enclaves. Ive had the cat-accino twice now. Both times it was foamy, creamy, and fresh, and they had cute little cats on them! They use Lucky Goat coffee, which is fresh and local (best coffee in town). The cat room is completely separate from the café portion for health code reasons, but there is a huge viewing window into the cat room. The cats are all adoptable, and the café helps save cats from living in overcrowded shelters or even being euthanized. Every cat is adoptable. I love this place, and highly recommend it to everyone.

The cat room is absolutely adorable (although Im not a Huge cat person, I love animals and as an animal lover I respect the cats, lol). The service was amazing. Tally Cat Cafe is fabulous all around. Every detail of the business was so well thought out! The owners are very talented and knowledgeable, and any staff has been super friendly! You can get real, well made, coffee drinks, the prices are totally reasonable, and the cat room is always clean and tidy. $7 dollars gets you an hour in the cat room- what other fun activity can you do for that price, AND you are contributing to the well being of these kitties. They take adoption applications very seriously, which is only setting their cats up for success in their future homes. We had one cat at home and adopted from here- it has been a great experience. He was adjusted to home living already, AND he was adjusted to another cat. The transition was smooth and easy. This is a wonderful place to give your business!

This cat cafe is the genuine article! They care so much about the cats they have in their care and work tirelessly with the Leon County animal shelters to save as many feline in the area as possible. The experience is one of a kind and care about their customers. I was in town one weekend for school in August 2019 and made plans as soon as I knew I was going to be in town to visit the cafe. I went the evening I was there only to have my blood sugar drop. They called 911 and ensured my care until EMS arrived. The next day one of the owners contacted me on Facebook to check on me and offered to send a box to me and advised me I could come for free whenever I was in town again.

Placid place to pet cats or look at them and you can get coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water, you name it! The cats are also very well behaved and hey if like them you can adopt one. Its great they do also have some beautiful paintings in side. There is also out side seating

The ladies at the front desk tonight were so nice, and this place provides a really relaxed environment. Its nice to see these adoptsble cats living nice, comfortable lives instead of sitting in a kennel.The strawberry smoothie was also surprised really good. Like... Really good. Im definitely coming back and bringing more people. This was great.

I love cats, but the Tally Cat Cafe is more than just a place to meet potential house mates. It is an excellent place to enjoy a good cup of coffee, tea, and any other beverage one might fancy. I had a warm pistachio muffin and met a sweet little Ginger kitten, who decided it would be nice to just cuddle next to me and purr. I cant wait for my next visit

What an amazing spot! Coffee and cats! Having lived in South Korea, its great to see a cat cafe in Florida. We live quite far from Tallahassee, but now have another reason to visit. All the cats there are up for adoption. The staff is great and the place is well kept.
