My husband and I recently decided to upgrade our kitchen counter tops from the original formica/laminate to a granite option. We landed on Spartan Stoneworks after several great recommendations, and were so glad we did! Ember contacted us with multiple style options, and had someone come out to measure our counters while we continued to decide on the granite. I was able to text Ember directly with my questions, and she always got back to me very quickly. I must have received 20 different options from Ember, always keeping my style in mind. Within a couple of weeks after we landed on the granite design we wanted (colonial white), and it was cut and then installed in 1 day. To make things even easier, our under-mounted sink came from Spartan so it could be installed all at the same time. Our new counter tops are absolutely gorgeous!! Thank you to Fernando and his team for doing such a beautiful job - we are so happy with our new kitchen!!

I wanted to give Spartan a 5 star review. Fernando does good work and I am pleased with the job his company did on our kitchen island. So pleased in fact that I decided to get him to cut some window sills for me out of a piece of leftover granite after my kitchen job was completed. I called their office and spoke with Kim who was very pleasant and said that they could most certainly do this for me, but that they were running about 10 days out on their jobs at this time. I agreed and my husband delivered the granite 60 miles one way to their shop from our house, so that is 120 miles round trip. On the 11th day I tried to contact their office with no success, so I emailed Kim and she called me back and left a message stating that my granite should be going on the table the following day. On the 16th day I still havent heard anything back from them so I contacted their office and spoke with Fernandos wife who informed me that they had no clue of when my granite could be cut, that they were running extremely late on their jobs, and were understaffed due to the Coronavirus. While I understand we are in a pandemic, and I gave them an extra 6 days from what their company told me they could do the job in, Im also trying to build my dream house and I had contractors and paint crews waiting on the granite sills to be installed so that they could proceed. This delayed my house project by over three weeks because and if they couldnt do the job, why did they say they could. And then Fernandos wife basically told me when I stated all these facts to her, that I could come pick my granite up and take it somewhere else to be cut. I was shocked by her comments to me, so my husband and I decided it was best to part ways at this point and the following day we drove the 120 miles round trip to collect our granite and take it to another stone company to be cut. I was very disheartened by my discussion with the wife because we had spent over $3,300 with this company having our kitchen island granite installed and it made us feel like if were not spending big bucks with us, youre not important to us. She has terrible customer service practices,she was extremely rude, and lacked any compassion or respect for her customer who had just recently spent good money with their company. So I just wanted future potential customers to be aware of their easy come, easy go business practices and customer relations before doing business with them.

I love this company. The owners searched high and low for the perfect granite for our kitchen, even bringing samples to our home. We were working within a very tight timeline and Spartan Stoneworks was very flexible and understanding when we needed to make changes. Template and fabrication was very quick and our countertop was expertly installed the next day! The final product is stunning. We visited several other local granite companies and not only does Spartan Stoneworks offer the best prices, but they have the absolute best customer service. Also, when working with a tight timeline, it was extremely convenient to be able to receive quotes over the phone, and product photos via email and text message. We couldnt be happier with Spartan Stoneworks and seriously cant wait to work with them again on future projects!

With all due respect the reason of me calling so much, was due to not being aware of what was going on..I was a lil frustrated because I knew what we had talked about..I felt disappointed because I knew that I had taken all of the appropriate steps in which of being hired..just checked on this review today and seen your reply..Didnt mean to anger you guys at all..like I said in the review nice people, but huge disappointment, Im a very hard working person and I was extremely disappointed, knowing the amount of work I could have achieved within you guys company.. but No hard feelings.. P.s, Ive never had a temper throughout the whole situation, I was very pleasant on the phone and when I came up there to check on my application in person. if you felt any angry vibes other then my opinion I posted on google..I do apologize.

I had an interview with this establishment, was hired that day and started the next day. I was not trained, just given odds and end jobs to do until someone came back, which I never even got to finish thoroughly because I was not provided with the proper equipment (vaccume) when everyone came back from being away from the establishment that day I was told how wonderful I did and how exciting it was to have me there, they gave me my check for that day (It was payday coincidentally). I loved everyone I met and they were all so nice. Until the next morning I received a text from the owners wife who says “I appreciate your help, but we’re letting you go it’s just not the right fit” I let it go and moved on and kept seeing their hiring posts. And then I kept seeing people who said they did the exact thing to them hire them for one day pay them and before their next shift fire them. This place does a great job in your kitchen. But I would never work for them. I am too hard working and give too much effort.

We had lived with horrible countertops in both our kitchen (small, orange Mexican tile) and the master bath (faux green marble laminate) for over a dozen years but finally decided to update. Our tile contractor recommended Spartan and it was a wonderful experience throughout the process. Ember worked with us to both choose the right materials and stay well within the budget, including by using a striking remnant piece of granite for our oversized master bathroom counter. In the middle of the fabrication process, we became interested in buying another house and Ember moved up our install date (at no cost) just to accommodate our changed needs. Fernando and his helper were wonderful throughout the install and stayed past 8:30 on a Friday night to make sure the work was both complete and beautiful; the granite countertops in both rooms are breathtaking and come with a 15-year seal, eliminating our maintenance concerns. We are kicking ourselves for waiting so long to do this, especially at a cost that turned out to be a fraction of what Home Depot or Lowes would have charged, and have already secured Spartans services for the house were buying!
