Another great experience with Overhead Door of the capital city. They installed a door for me a while back and did a fantastic job. I just recently used them for service. These guys, especially the manager Jason, are great to work with. Every time I’ve used them Jason handles me like I am the only customer they have to take care of and he’s honest so when He gives me his word I know I can take it to the bank; which you don’t see much of now days. So much of this can be said for the techs as well. They are professionals and they do a great job. They care about how they do their jobs and it shows. I know I will continue to use them in the future.

I’ve had an order placed with Overhead Door for months but I give Jason, the manager, kudos for continuing to contact me to keep me apprised of what is happening and where we are in the process. Every time I call to check in and follow up I am met with his pleasant, professional attitude, and sincere empathy over the fact that it hasn’t arrived yet. Unlike an impatient person I understand that Covid has changed everyone’s life in some way, and I understand that shipping takes longer now for various reasons; all certainly beyond anyone’s control and absolutely unintentional. I’ve used other garage door companies before and I won’t again as I am both pleased and confident in both Jason‘s ability and the ability of Overhead Door and I know they will get the job done right.

Emergency situation with cars stuck in garage due to a broken spring. Overhead Door Company was the only 1 of 4 Tallahassee Garage Door Repair companies to respond, and then resolved the issue within hours. Great response and service when I really needed them!!!

Scheduled an appointment for a Monday. No one ever showed up. When I called they said they had no record of the appointment. I booked another appointment for Wednesday. Had them email me a confirmation just to be sure. Wednesday morning they called and asked to push the appointment to Friday. Guess theyre busy. Understandable but doesnt help my situation. My door still doesnt work. Maybe Im old school. If I tell someone Ill be there, Ill move other things around to get there. They do answer the phones consistently which is a plus. Nice folks. Just couldnt get them to my house. Went with another door company. Same day service.

I reached out via the internet on Sunday, was contacted first thing on Monday, consult on Tuesday and new door and motor installed on Thursday! Staff was friendly and responsive and the technician did great work and was courteous. The owner gave phenomenal customer service when we needed him. I contacted Overhead Door earlier this week and was directed to their sales representative. I spoke to him by phone and he told me he would be there the following day if I would text him my address. I immediately did so and when he didnt show up the next morning, I texted him twice and never heard back. Needless to say, I went with another company and have still heard nothing from Overhead Door. Very poor service!

I recently had the pleasure of using Overhead Garage Door of Tallahassees services and could not be more pleased. Especially when working with the manager, Jason. He absolutely went above and beyond from start to finish making sure I was taken care of. It was a great experience that went seamlessly and he made the entire process painless. Its rare to find a company now days that have employees that actually take pride in their work and care about their customers but Overhead of Tallahassee has hit the nail on the head and exemplify whats right with customer service .

I had Overhead Door of the Capital City come out to replace my door. The manager sent me web links and photos of the door so I could get exactly what I wanted. He scheduled me and told me a tech would call me approx 30 minutes prior to arriving and they did exactly that. The tech was professional and courteous and did a great job. Overall Im very pleased with my experience using Overhead Door of the Capital City and recommend them highly if youre in the market for a new door or even repairs on an door.

Very poor services. I ordered a new garage in March 2020. Finally the door got ready after a few weeks. On the day of expected installation I waited for hours but now one showed up. After contacting the supervisor at their Tallahassee office I was told that I did not answer my phone in the morning and the installer canceled the delivery and installation on his own. No one called me or showed up at my home. Very poor services..

The technicians Jake and John were really friendly and professional. I received same day service and the price was very reasonable. My garage door is working perfect now. I would definitely recommend this company to family and friends.

If you have any garage door concerns, I would highly recommend using this company. I sent an electronic estimate request and received a call within the hour (actually, it was likely within 30 minutes). I explained the problem I was having with the garage door and broken spring. I was told they could have a technician come out the same day (a great surprise). I was provided with a great estimated price for the overall job. The technician (Jake) was friendly and explained everything he was going to do. I am 100% satisfied with the job done and overall experience working with this company. On the recommendation of a friend, I contacted Overhead Door Company of Tallahassee concerning my garage door opener, which was intermittently failing to close. One of their tech/repairmen, Steve, came by within a day or two, and arrived in the agreed time frame. Steve assessed the problem and determined that the infrared sensors were misaligned. He adjusted the alignment, and, sure enough, the door closed without problem. He tried the door several more times, and the door closed consistently. I paid the $85 bill (which I think is their minimum charge), and was a happy camper.Imagine my dismay, then, when the very next day the door was again intermittently failing to close. I contacted the company again, and Steve returned the next morning. He then determined that the problem apparently was with the circuit board, which he replaced. He also reprogrammed all the remotes. Additional charge for the second service call? $0.00 (zero).I highly recommend Overhead Door Company of Tallahassee.Roger L., Killearn Estates

I originally requested service from another Garage Door Company, but somehow was linked to Overhead Door Company so they called me and said that Tom would be in touch with me shortly. Well, he was certainly not the nicest person to talk to especially considering that I was a potential customer. He quoted me the prices for the two garage door systems that they offered, but was very short & seemed as though I was getting on his nerve with the questions I was asking...when he in fact, called me! I told him that I was actually requesting another companys service and told me, NO, WE ARE OVERHEAD, WE ARE NOT THAT COMPANY as if I didnt already know that. Again, I am unsure how this happened, but it wasnt his place to challenge me. I told him that I would prefer to wait for the other company to reach out to me and that based on my interaction with him, I would not be using their service. Id prefer quality over quantity any day!

Just want to thank Overhead Door for fixing my garage door in no time. Technician was very friendly, knowledgeable of the problem, and now my garage door is working as if it were brand new! No more loud noise and the door opens and closes as it should. Many thanks!

Lady that answered the phone was rude when I called to ask about a part. Acted like I was inconveniencing her on a Friday at 3pm. Besides her unsettling attitude she corrected me stearnly when I referred to the garage door instead of the garage opener. I have 13 garage doors that will need maintenance at some point in the future...but these folks wont be doing it. They did answer the phone, however, so they get two stars.

Had to have the springs replaced on my garage door, the technician, Steve arrived on time and was professional and through, not only Replaced the springs but made adjustments to the door along with lubrication to make it perform better than it did new! I’ve appreciated the great service the few times I have used them. However, I called twice to set up an appointment for an installation but never received a call back.

First the never showed up on the day they were scheduled for by the way I took off work then the next day they never showed up so I called to get an ETA and the guy had the nerve to be rude so needless to say I cancelled by services with them

Have always used in pass just found out new owners and staff. Tech that called about appt was rude and couldn’t even give us a time just said he would call 30 min ahead of time and that it be Monday needless to say we called another company that gave a set time and came out on sat
