Not a bad place doesnt sell name brand tools

This store has the best customer service I have ever received. They were so kind and patient and helped me find everything I needed to help with a cross country move. One lady in particular (I wish I would have gotten her name) stopped everything she was doing to help me and I appreciated her so much. The employees are the most wonderful people I have ever encountered in any of my retail shopping experiences.

This is my go-to for inexpensive tools I hate that the supplier is China on most things. Staff do a pretty good job, the only suggestion is popular items should be stocked with more. It just seems like every time theres a good deal they only will get one or two in stock for that week. I hope they get the message because the strategy of only having a few of the items that they keep in stock is a poor strategy, this store policy will only pay for Mr Bezoss next journey into space.

Tools are reasonably priced, workers weren’t rude, just slow paced and doesn’t seem excited. Only one worker seem to have knowledge of equipments and tools 🧰 🛠 if you have a question. This was better than going to Lowe’s with the bad service

Good deals on many things. Pleasant and informative staff. Only complaint I have is all of special sales, coupons or discounts do not include a large list of products found in the small print of each ad

Misleading and deceptive practices! Shady manager and sales rep for the store will not honor a in-store deal because the item is on sale. The build your own combo kit for $30 off instantly does not apply to on sale items, but it doesnt say that in the fine print, nor does it say anywhere on the website. Another kicker is that all the tools are on sale, therefore nullifying the combo deal throughout the length of the promotion. While I was trying to clarify with the sales rep, I overheard her manager on the walkie-talkie telling her that even though Im right, do not give me the $30 off. I thought about just using the tool once and then return it, but then theres a $25 restocking fee. You think China is running this business, oh wait they are....Never buying from HF again, bunch of crooks and scam artists.

Good selection of discount off brand products. A little overwhelming if you are looking for a particular item. Check out line was long. The employees are helpful and friendly (if you can find one to help you that isnt busy).

Good place for a very wide variety of hand and power tools. Prices are much lower than most hardware stores. Mostly store brands made in India, China... etc. Quality generally not as high as US or European tools. They get the job done but not something youd worry about leaving to future generations.

RUDE cashier! Unfriendly and seemed like it was killing her to answer one question. When an item rang up the wrong price, I found the coupon price online but code number was so small my old eyes had trouble reading it. When I asked for her help, she just stood there… wow! NO customer service in this store!

Doesnt have everything, including some big name brand items, but has a variety of good stuff anyway.

First time there, I wanted to purchase an item advertised. Nothing on the shelf, store was packed, NO STAFF help to be found by me or the other three guys I talked to! The poor cashier was handling everything and did a great job. Dock the pay of the invisible employees and add it to hers, cause she did her work and theirs!

Staff are friendly most of the times. Tools are not high quality like CraftsmanHowever, I noticed the store started to bring in more higher quality tools. Prices are usually lower or very lower than some other stores, including WM. The store does carry some hard to find hardware tool locally.

The staff at the Harbour Freight, Tallahassee, Florida location are very professional, knowledgable and helpful. I needed help with input and guidance on several items, impromptu. The Store Manager (unbeknowst to me) greeted me upon entering the store and engaged me. I shopped in the store while asking questions of other staff members who were equally kind and helpful. Needless to say I left the store spending several houndred dollars. Going back tomorrow for the sale! Thank you

This syores inventory is very poorly managed from a corporate aspect. The store manager only knows what stock is getting delivered the night before like its some kind of top secret operation. Ive been trying to buy another hydraulic lift cart for 2 years, and every single time Ive been there the 1 that they show in stock is miraculously missing... otherwise ive been to worse locations, but also been to FAR better ones.

Its hard to resist going M to harbour freight tools. So many neat things. I buy something almost every time I go in there.

Waited in line 30 to 45 mins. To check out. Only ones cashier and he was trying to answer the phone in top of cashiering. Finally just walked out.

Found what I needed and was promptly checked out.

The Manager Deon was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions. He even figured a way to get the generator in my old Mercury Sable. The Lady at the register kept everyone in the proper line (which I appreciate) she also was very helpful. A great experience. Deon is well worth more than theyre paying him.

The only employees there the day I went in were the cashiers. I would suggest allowing plenty of time to spend there if you are not familiar with what isle and shelf the product you are shopping for is. They carry small quantities of a lot of different things so it is not easy to spot the one thing you need There is nobody to ask to help. The cashiers are busy checking customers out.

Usually you can find what you need. Quality is not considered the best but prices typically reflect that.It’s hit or miss with customer service at this location.Pay attention to ads and flyers as there is usually a sale or coupon available.

The store is clean and organized. Fyi have a ideal what you want before you go in. So many choices to choose from. They have every brand opposite of Makita, Dewalt and Porter Cable. These brands in some cases are better in brand and price and performance!

Lots of tools and equipment, and very organized. Reasonable prices!However, the customer service is garbage. One associate gave me advice from afar without even approaching me. Another associate took me around the store to find what I needed (good!), but was brand new with no product knowledge. I get it; everyone is new at some point... But could have asked another associate. A very knowledgeable customer stepped in to help!Overall satisfied... But service needs improvement!

To start with the auto defroster that was advertised in the paper for $8.99 was $14.99. Then, the sales person tried to sell me insurance on it for $5.plus. I declined so then he tried to sell me $3. insurance. I mean hey, come on I just wanted to pay for what I put on the counter. And now I got it home and it doesnt work. So now Im going to have to go back. G Thanks Harbor freight!!!!

For most of us, Harbor Freight tools meet our needs. I have used their Multi Tool for five years now without any problems. Installed flooring and did trim on three houses. I bought a 12” miter saw 7 years ago and use it constantly. Great Tools at an Inexpensive Price.
