The staff is very friendly and their prices on goods are comparable to other stores. However, in one instance regarding probiotics... They price gouged.$21.99 vs $49.99. Thats absurd and dissapointing.

This place has really gone downhill since they first opened. On numerous occasions I have stood in front of the various deli areas and waited for 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge me, or just ended up leaving. The final straw was yesterday my husband brought groceries home, and had to turn around and go back to the store because the cashier had forgot half of the items he purchased. I asked what happened and my husband said the cashier was more concerned with making excessive, unnecessary conversation than bagging the groceries. That wasnt the worst part, however. What really bothered me was when my husband returned to get the forgotten items, the same cashier did not even offer an apology. Seriously? I mean that is just basic customer service 101, not to mention simple human decency. The person I spoke to on the phone also did not even say sorry for your inconvenience. So, one can just assume that the workers there dont care in the least. I realize that you dont have to be a rocket scientist to bag groceries, but you should at least be able to function on a cognitive level that can comprehend taking polite responsibility for your mistakes. Lost two more customers.

The very friendly staff and wide selection make up for the above average prices. I always buy my milk here because they sell it in glass jugs that get cleaned and reused. Theres a discount for bringing your own bag.If youre looking for friendly service and a wide selection of vegan/veggie alternatives, this is the place to go.

I came at 8pm on Sunday; closes at 9pm. Nobody in meats,cheese, deli, or bakery. I stood at deli counter hoping someone would eventually help me; nope. There was a guy working in the kitchen behind the deli, but it was obvious he wasnt pleased at all that I was there.Certainly a poor first visit to this store.

Earth Fare has my favorite deli section in town. They have great wraps, sandwiches, and salads. They also have ready-to-eat and ready-to-heat food and sushi. And their muffins and desserts and bakery? Good stuff. Friendly staff. Never too crowded except around the holidays and a great parking lot.

Really like this place. Fresh products at reasonable prices. They have a selection of healthy items that you can’t get anywhere else in Tallahassee. The staff are always friendly and helpful. If I ever had a question on an item they would go above and beyond to find out. There is plenty of parking and it’s easy to spot from Apalachee parkway making it a convenient stop on the way home. I would recommend this place for sure.

This place has such a great feel to it. The atmosphere is great and throughout had friendly employees. I always like an establishment with friendly faces that seem to care that you decided to shop with them. I go every now and then to check out for sales. You can get some great prices on there meat department if you shop smart. Just last month we go grass fed ground beef for $3.99. The chorizo was good but not great. I love the diversity of products here. Rosemary bread was not as good as fresh market but still enjoyable. they have daily hot meal specials which you should not miss. Prices are not that great but you expect that from such a place as this. My wife loves this chocolate milk.

Conveniently-located health food store Can I go to almost every other day. The staff is super friendly and its never crowded so you get in and out pretty quickly. Plenty of parking in the store is always well stocked!

I dont normally leave reviews, but I cant keep this to myself. I walked into earthfare and the owner paid for my all my groceries, and even added cookies as a free gift! We shop there all the time (the employees are helpful and the food is fresh) but today was different.Thank you so much sir and God Bless!

I havent had much time to look around the store itself. However, their salad bar is really good. They offer a large fresh variety of veggies. They also offer a decent selection of warm foods.

I threw my sister her bridal shower and Earth Fare made planning the food an absolute pleasure. I called to see if I could simply order a few cheeses and they ended up making me 2 platters (one of which we supplied - a block cutting board) and it was SPECTACULAR! Every person I spoke to was eager to help and very proactive in making suggestions to make my planning easier. I had planned on getting my food from various stores, but Earth Fare was able to take care of it all. Would absolutely recommend using their specialty services. Very reasonable cost for the services received and quality of their product. Everyone at the shower RAVED about how beautiful the platters were and how good everything was. Thanks Earth Fare!

I dont know, I just wasnt really wowed by this place and I go to health food markets kind of a lot. Their hot food bar is just alright and their produce/grocery selection is pretty similar to Whole Foods. The prices are similar too, aka too expensive for regular shopping.I think this place has some unique items and its not a bad place to shop, but I probably wouldnt go out of my way to shop here since not a ton of their stuff is local and their selection isnt always that great.

Wednesday you can get a meal from the deli for $6.99, regular price, $8.99. The edamame dumplings and vegan mock chicken salad are good. Can buy bulk dried fruit, rices, nuts, etc. If you are looking for healthy alternatives. They can be found here.

I love earth fare cause most of all the stuff they sell is organic and have natural herbs,they also make their own soap and it smells so good,they also have a food court inside where you fix your own plate and then pay at the register an sit down an eat.they have all the freshest fruit and vegetables also you should try their soup too it is amazing.I also have and earth fare card that you get discount when you shop hereno cost for the card awesome isnt it!

Great healthy food options...lack-luster staff. Dont expect to apply advertised coupons at checkout...cashiers impatient and rude.

Earth Fare has great specials and members deals. The membership is free and unlocks great savings. The products are much more thoroughly vetted than they are in Whole foods. Staff is really helpful and friendly.

Such a fantastic store! Yes, it will put a bit of a hurt on your wallet, but it is so worth it. The selection is top notch, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and the quality of the merchandise, especially produce, is fantastic. My go-to store.

I was disappointed in the store. When I travel through Florida I like to stop in here. Nothing appeared to be fresh. They lacked fresh local produce, prepared food looked old and gross and not kept up. Only a few people were working. I hope they step up their game.

Every time I go for a pizza in the deli, theres a worker who is touching his face and hair, and other parts, so I am disgusted and ruins my appetite. Would somewhat understand if it was just once, but it happened 4 times. I love shopping at earth fare, just not the cleanest food prep staff.

Favorite Health Food store in Tallahassee. Buy a lot of supplements for my smoothies here. They have good deals on produce from time to time. I can buy fresh Tumeric by the pound here. Friendly staff,clean good atmosphere, keeps me coming back to Earth fare.

It is pricey like Luckys and Whole Foods. Has fresh veggies and excellent bakery selection. The parking lot is petite and its never all that busy.

I love the coupons and texted food deals. The lunch specials are great. Where can you get a large slice of pizza and a bowl of soup for $5? The meat and fish are always fresh. The chicken is always priced reasonably. The customer service is good. The olive bar is awesome. You can sample the food with no out any problem.

Terrific selection. Good, tidy store. Friendly staff. Deli and food bar is awesome as well. Even my kids love to take food home from there.

03/23/1019 First post:My lovely wife went to get some meat from here today and when she nicely and politely asked the Butcher “Ben” to cut some lamb for her, he responded in a very unpleasant, pushy and unprofessional way “we are not doing that today”. My wife went to the cashier and asked to speak to the manager. Ms. “Elene” came to aid and assisted my wife taking the lamb back to the butcher. When he was done cutting it he brought it back to my wife and gave her a disgusting and threatening look. Very unpleasant situation. Like most of these types of grocery stores, Earth Fare can be profoundly overpriced. However, you can and will find healthy (and some not so healthy) deals if you look around. Get on their email/text list and get even more savings.

People there have been great. Food is delicious. Prices can be a bit tough sometimes, but there are enough sales and weekly discounts to really get your moneys worth.

I really like the fact that they specialize in healthy food. The hot bar is good but could use more vegan options.

All products that come from animals are antibiotic and hormone free, and theres always good sales on meats. They offer conventional, non - gmo, and organic for produce, and all the processed food products are without chemical junk.

I just realized I didn’t modify this.The manager apologized from the heart. I did get a gift card for 50. I bought soups and gave it to shelter in Gainesville.It is 2:34 am. My sandwich I ordered this evening has no sprouts, no lettuce, no freshness. I added turkey yes. But it tastes wired and smokey. Half way through i realized it has small red pieces of fish tasting meat. I am guessing it is anchovies. I never asked for it. Never ever. Thank you earth fare. You made me eat pork first time in my life.I knew something is wrong with that guy the way he was looking at me. Guilty face. Acting weirdo. I even asked. Is Deli open?!?Can you please use gloves?Can not say if he was mean or just slow. Hard to judge hearts or minds. Either way, not acceptableThe more I think the more upset I get. Its a great place to shop for organic food items. This health food store is never crowded, which deems for an excellent shopping experience. Theres a small dinning area to eat your lunch.They prepare (hot/ cold)foods like pizza, sandwhiches, soup and a hot food bar. Salads are always a staple for a nice quick bite to eat. It has a smoothie/ bakery section as well. They also offer a small beauty section for clean makeup. A vitamin section to keep your body in tip top shape. They have a meat and cheese department. The meat has no hormones, and you can buy grass fed, if you like They typically have weekly sales to save 💰 . Take the time and change your routine, and give Earthfare a try. Service is average. The food is excellent. They have a hot bar selection and a large salad bar with a variety of toppings to choose. Yes, the sneeze guards are harder to get around but they are there for a reason. Many people cough and sneeze without covering their mouths. I like the sneeze guards for this reason.P.S. This is the one place in Tallahassee that has the closest pizza style to NYC pizza

I really wanted to like Earth Fare but Ive found that the smaller locations are lacking in a lot of areas. For me, variety and availability is one of the major problems at this location and I am not sure why. The store is never busy at all and oddly enough, it is often a hunt to find an employee when you need one. The produce section is extremely small and they often have items out of stock. I went early one morning for some eggs and there not one single carton of brown eggs in stock! The prices are another problem for me. Earth Fare is overpriced! Maybe they are trying to keep up w/ Publix or New Leaf market but they dont seem to be generating too much business. I will say that they sometimes have reasonably priced weekly deals but its never really worth me making a trip over there for the few items that are on sale. There is not way I could stock up my household on earth fare pricing and availability but I suppose it is an ok spot to grab a few things if you are in the area. To be honest, Homestead Creamery is the main reason I come to Earthfare. I have been so many times returning an empty lemonade bottle and picking up another one. That stuff is SO GOOD!Lastly, Earth Fare needs to work on their rewards (Tomato bank). I feel like its so hard to earn enough points to do anything with. Maybe this would attract more business. For now, I will continue to be a frequent shopper of Luckys and run to Earth Fare when I am out of lemonade.

Great deals that are always going on which easily undercut something like Publix or even Wal Mart on comparable items, quality product, and a friendly, nice atmosphere with places to sit, study, and eat.

I called the Apalachee Parkway store in Tallahassee to get some information on their organic produce and the person with whom I spoke was quite rude.James hung up on me after barely answering my question in the most disgruntled fashion ever. This is the poor service I got before even setting foot in the store, which I’m not about to do now.

Earthfare is conveniently located for me, although I do have to drive by new leaf to get there, and that doesnt make a lot of sense - so frequently I just go to new leaf. If, for whatever reason, I arrive at earthfare its because I came another way (Blairstone/parkway for e.g.)When I DO come, I always ALWAYS ask myself why I dont come more often. The produce section is great. Bulk grains are clearly marked and dispensing is easy.TLH has Earthfare, Whole Foods, Fresh Market - and the homegrown alternative - New Leaf. My penchant for keepin it local means that I generally try New Leaf first - by Im never disappointed when I check Earthfares wares - and Im happy to do so once in a while.Earthfare is great - really!
