Went it to buy a computer..looked at quite a few and then decided to buy a desktop. The sales guy says...you.will have to wait for it..I said ok..not in a huge hurry.....he then comes back and says..I cant get you THAT computer.....AT All! .....I asked...you mean to tell me that you have a product on your shelf....with prices...and you explained the storage and speed.....sold me on the unit.....but you cant get it? He said ...yes.This place is a time wasters paradise!Dont shop at this outhouse....you WILL be disappointed.

Went there looking for a Ring door bell/camera and we got fast courteous customer service from several employees. They didnt had the unit we wanted but made the arrangements for us to pick it up in the Brandon store. We had gone to the Citrus store which is 15min. from our house we asked two times for service and no one showed up for some 30 minutes!! I have had better customer service in the South Tampa store than the Citrus store..

I only go to Best buy when I have to. They seem to be severely understaffed, no one offered to help us after half an hour or more of being there looking at stoves and other kitchen appliances. Finally someone did offer to help us, by that time we had already decided on which unit and really didnt have any questions because we looked up the information on our phones. The salesman asked if we wanted to finance it and open a credit card account because we would get 10% off. He failed to mention that the 10% was off of the next purchase. So after I had a mini meltdown he called over supervisor who ended up crediting the 10% back to the credit card that I had just opened. I would have hoped that would have been made more clear before I open the credit card account that I really didnt need but was only doing it to get the 10% off.
Got a Lenovo Yoga laptop at a great price.
Staff members most of the time they have no idea of the products theyre displaying, also I ask for assistance and they never helped me I waited for someone to come for like 15 min. And they never came to help me, and seemed like nobody care, I get it, they are there for a paycheck but at least pretend that youre working or care for the people buying there since most of the time youre spending hundreds of dollars in the store. In my opinion they should hire people with more experience and knowledge in electronics and how they work instead of someone just looking for a paycheck.

Went pick up order. Was told it was not ready. What does even mean? I didnt order. McRib sandwich! It meant that Best Buy took my order (money) giving reason to think they had the product I ordered. BB has my money, I have nothing!
Cannot even call the store to have my question answered. They will send you repeatedly to an automated answering machine which will run you in loops. When it does decide to transfer you to hopefully a human working it says they are experiencing technical difficulties. No question why Best Buy will not last many more years.
Went in with a ton of questions about upgrading my ps4 external hard drive and got the best help from a few people. The one that stood out the most was Nate but that was because of his smile and how sweet/cute he was (especially when I forgot my wallet and had to come back!!! Anything I need to get “Best Buy related.” I’m not only coming in, but I’m asking for him.
Went there to buy a laptop. It wasnt too busy but they apparently had only 1 salesperson who could help me so I had to wait a while. Eventually I got the help I needed and ended up ordering one. Their online system worked great and I was quickly informed when the order was placed, filled and then being shipped. It came in sooner than expected. I took advantage of their service that sets everything up for me since I have no patience with such things and Im glad I did. Their staff is excellent. Theyre knowledgeable, courteous and professional. They informed me of various services without any of the high pressure sales tactics of other places. I highly recommend this store. I had bought stuff from them over the years and have always enjoyed the experience so now, although I live 40 minutes away, I still come back to this store for their products.
Honestly I have had nothing but truly positive experiences at this local Best Buy, although it is always extremely busy which tells you something about the brand, company and always plenty of Associates to help but 10 times the customers but the way they acknowledge you and let you know they can answer a quick question while waiting on someone else and not the usual practice at other stores that are busy such as this when looking for something I was approached multiple times by other Associates who not only told me where to find what I thought I needed but expanded my knowledge on what I needed or I need additional add-on to a laptop I purchased there a few weeks beforehand, five stars definitely, as someone whos been in retail and organizing events for decades I feel that those who go above and beyond and customer service deserved for us to take the time to write the review to say how much we appreciate it and let others know its a great place to go for all of your Tech and many other needs :-)
Closest Best Buy within a 200mi radius with the camera/lens combo I needed at a short notice, so I made the 2 hr drive north to pick it up. This Best Buy was honestly frustrating in every imaginable way, aside from product availability (my specific camera need). To begin with, I had to get the attention of the front door greeter, who appeared annoyed, to even be shooed off by the greeter in the direction I needed to go. Most of the reps I spoke with leaned towards the argumentative/annoyed to be answering questions side of “customer service”. I already spent $1.2k on my initial purchase and was eying a few accessories that I ended up getting through Amazon because everyone was so off putting in the store. Maybe I’m spoiled by my Best Buy in Fort Myers but this experience was terrible all around. One friendly younger rep near PC (mentioned being new) let me charge my camera battery for a few minutes before I headed out for a shoot which I did appreciate. Overall I would recommend any other Best Buy or electronics store in the area to this one 100%.
Michael in the Computer Department gave me the best customer service Ive ever received and Ive visited this store 3 times within the past year. He made the process of purchasing my new laptop stress free and aside from the store being short staffed he made sure I was taken care of! Someone needs to give this man a raise or promote him to manager!!
Went to buy a kids tablet. Needed help picking out the right one. Waited over 10 min before any came over to assist. The person that came to assist said hed be right back and never returned. I left the store and bought from Amazon.com

Needed to replace the radio and speakers in my Cutie Car aka 97 Toyota Celica GT Convertible. Hated not to get an Ebay original replacement but while I had an expert in town who used to be on GEEK SQUAD for Best Buy I wasnt going to pass up the opportunity to get an awesome Pioneer radio/cd and speakers installed by my savvy friend.

We came in to buy a laptop & were sent home with the wrong one. Returned the next day & again tried to give us the wrong one. Then when we asked to speak to management about making it right, she couldnt even bother to speak to me directly. All in all they gave us $40 off the laptop. They couldve done better.
Bought a Galaxy Active 2 here less than 6 months ago with a 2 year warranty. When it quit working they said I could have store credit and they could order me another one but I would have to pay the difference and pay for another 2 year warranty. 😠

Its tough to find help to get items that arent locked up but you do get to actually see the desktops, laptops, TVs, etc.Hate all the extra add ons they attempt to sell you but if you want to see actual goods, its good
One of the best best buys Ive bought from. Seriously, this place is very good and has everything new that a techy would want. When did the sales floor people get so pushy though.
Couldnt find what I wanted right away so I approached an employee who was already engaged with another customer. I waited patiently and when he could, he broke away from serving that customer long enough to quickly answer my question and direct me. I found what I needed and went to checkout which also was quick and efficient.

Nobody really offers to help. We were looking for computers and had to track someone down. They werent very knowledgeable. I know most of the employees are kids but they should at least offer to find someone that knows what they are doing
When you call the store, no one answers; when you call corporate, they tell you to physically go to the store and i did and it was the biggest waste of time and only reason I left my home from finishing a project.I received my order of a Apple iPad 12.9 case (that was misleading on the website). I tried the product and placed my Apple Pencil in there. It was accidentally left in the case when I returned it (which could’ve been avoided if the associate inspected my return).They had me wait for 20min yet offered no solution. I asked if they could replace my Apple Pencil (even if it was open box) or provide a store credit but they refused and I was told that I would have to purchase one. Why would I do that when they have MY product and will probably take or resell it?I asked to speak with a manager and was informed that one was not available.This is absolutely unacceptable! I’ve invested too much money into Best Buy over the years to be given dead ends. They have definitely lost me as a customer.
Geek squad on 2 different occasions was very unhelpful with fixing my computer and store does not offer an adequate selection of computer parts for replacements.
I purchased a TV at the store for delivery on Sunday. Before confirmation, the address was incorrect by 1 number. I corrected and verified everything on the screen upon purchase. Thursday, 4 days later, the driver calls at 7a but does NOT leave a VM. Who answers unknown calls now a days? Email verification advises to reschedule and we notice the address is wrong. We update the address AGAIN, reschedule and call to confirm new date of delivery and address info correct. They confirmed everything. Saturday 2 days later, we wait all day for a call, continue to monitor online information of arrival time 2p-6p. Its about 5:45p with no call. We check online, only to be told to reschedule. We call them and they tell us its due to our address change and we would have to wait another 4 more days on Wednesday. I contacted a Manager on Geek squad to express my disappointment of the process. She stated that they could offer 10% discount in form of a gift card only after the delivery and I would have to call for a manager once delivered. She was able to change delivery date to Tuesday and said If I would like more than the 10% I would still have to call back and ask for a manager after delivery which is still another inconvenince. Since there was not much that could be done, I waited for my purchase. Finally, TV arrived by Tuesday. I call the next day and ask for a Manager. The staff member is trying to handle the case which I let him know I would only want a Manager. He was very adamant that he can handle, so I give it a try and advised the compensation should be better than the 10% for the inconvenience. He asked to reiterate the experience. I advised there should be notation with all the info. After he reads it, he then states the 10% would only be a $100 but he will do better, and offer $130 instead!!! Literally the TV $1322. If you do the math of 10%, he really was not doing me any favors for the inconvenience. Again I ask for a manager and he said there is no manager on duty and he can escalate for one to contact me within 24-48 hrs. This is so unprofessional. Why did a manager tell me to call back after delivery if there was not one on duty which is hard to believe. He then states he could offer $200 for miscommunication of invalid amount offered earlier. I no longer wanted to speak with him. The disappointment of miscommunication and not fixing it, is very unprofessional. Why offer a gift card to your establishment when it has broken all trust thus far. I really hope to get a follow up as stated and compensation thats worth the inconvenience.UPDATE: Its been a week and no one has contacted me. This is ridiculous. Why call back when they can not follow through with there word! Extremely disappointed.

I’ve been a customer of Best Buy for a few years and always spend a lot because I’m always buying new properties or remodeling old ones. They deserve a 5 but need to make sure their contractors for delivery are the best ones as they used to be. This time the guys that deliver my washer and dryer didn’t even want to put them in correctly. It wasn’t pushed all the way back so the closet doors wouldn’t even close. The guy couldn’t care less and said that’s all he can do and left. This happened Monday. Today I spent $75 dollars to have someone come and pushed them back a little bit more. That’s all it was needed to be done. Very dissatisfied since I spend over $2k and this was just poor customer service. Nothing bad about their appliances just the poor service of the delivery crew.
Not a favorite best buy. They dont organize the items on shelves. Staff are not motivated 😑 also. Not terrible place but I wouldnt go there if there is different best buy I can choose..

Very disappointed. Thought I could get a TV and computers looked at. Not paying over $100 a piece, just for telling me I need a new battery, or its a piece of junk and I need to upgrade. Or its not repairable. Thats not even applied to parts and labor. Cant even look at my TV its too big, has to be a house call. Wonder what cost that is plus missing a day of work. Guess they just want to sell new
I still purchased a TV but unfortunately you have to pull teeth to get the employees to help you, there were 5 guys just hanging out by the TVs and none bothered to ask if I needed help, I dont understand what theyre getting paid to do, not their jobs...

Dash cam install went perfect...made an appointment and was able pull my car into the stall at the exact time of the appointment. The install was clean...wires were not visible and the technician was professional. The plan went as planned. Mission complete

It was an average experience The only thing that was worthy of noteworthiness was the service they offered meaning the customer service. Where are all the peripherals for PCs mainly peripherals like mechanical keyboards. They barely have these in the stock. I came looking for batteries and they had none. Some of the employee looks to be high on on some sort of drug was laughing at me when I asked the question, very interesting.

Their Appliance areas have a great selection of whirlpool and KitchenAid appliances. The store is very clean and organized all of this staff seem to be very friendly and very helpful they have a wide selection of TVs computers appliances video games cameras. If youre looking for electronics in your in the Tampa Bay Area this is a must visit. The restrooms are very clean and orderly.

Terrible customer service. I don’t know if it’s this location or if it’s corporate, but i called and talked to an operator for 15 minutes and they said i would receive a call back in 40 minutes. Received a call back 45 minutes later just to be on hold for 15 minutes. I tried to call the store back directly and they’re now closed. Ridiculously complicated to contact anyone at this store.

I left my items and walked out. I stood there for 15 minutes, there was two registers open and both of them looked confused. At least 8 other employees walked around behind the registers and no one could step in. I didnt see a manager, obviously they were having a problem and neither called for help? What a joke. We need HH Gregg back, no one wanted the commissioned employees? Well guess what, they actually care, they learn their product and see the sale through until the end. I would absolutely shop somewhere else if there was any other tech store.
We were waiting for a while and when an employer finally came to help. Instead of asking who was next he just help a person who had just arrived, when we had already being there at least 10 minutes. It was also upsetting that the customer didnt care to say they were here first(but you do have customers who are a$$hole).When we did get an employer he was nice.

We returned a DVD recorder ordered online and encountered poor customer service. It felt like we’d been duped. The online description of the device was unclear and when it arrived it didn’t meet our needs. The first employee at the counter explained he could only give us a gift certificate since we were without a receipt showing the return was within 15 days. We eventually found our email receipt and it didn’t state there was a 15 day time limit. The store manager arrived with an uncaring, patronizing attitude and explained the gift card was only good for in store purchases, no internet purchases. We explained we shop via internet and that’s why it was over 15 days to return the purchase. He said condescendingly that the web site has a link to their return policy. No wonder they had to close some locations. The least they can do is be up front with their policies on the email receipt and packing slip. Maybe they should consider having friendly accommodating staff on site when a customer takes the time and effort to physically come into the store. This is bad business; Best Buy can do better.

If not for Tyler, who we found working in the computer area, it would be one star. Asked for help at the mobile phone area re: Pixel phone accessories and they pointed and said if we have any, theyll be in that area over there. Then, when trying to get help with Google Home and Amazon Alexa products, could not get anyone to help. On a trip a few days before, asked for help finding a Microsoft Surface charger and we were pointed in a direction. Ive never had such poor experience in a Best Buy before. Ill stay away from this one, unless I want just browse unencumbered. The 2nd and 3rd pictures further illustrate the point.
Nobody helped. I stood there for 30 minutes. Ended up buying the wrong monitor. Awesome!! Its a zoo there everyone for themselves.
Lack of computer parts makes me sad
I went in to return my 70inch LG due to several problems I was having with it. I had the pleasure of having Elizabeth do my return. I told her my for reasoning for returning the tv. I gave her the all the accessories for the tv. She noticed that one screw was missing. I told her I didnt have it, and for some reason, she acted as if it was the end of the world because there were five screws instead of 6. Get a life, Elizabeth!! She harped on this screw for so long to the point where I had to get my partner who was a man, to explain to her that we didnt have it. Now I noticed Elizabeth was a pretty huge girl so Im not sure if she was cheated out of a chicken nugget or what, but BEST BUY give this woman more than a 30 min lunch break it may just help her be more of a pleasant person and not a delusional hungry ****** thx
