We all know finding the right mechanic can be a stressful and scary process.............After visiting this location I have a renewed sense of comfort and easeoperating my vehicle after having several issues after repairs by othermechanics. Last week my car came back from this location driving like new. The effort Jebb placed into my vehicle was outstanding he even identified other issues without me mentioning just to ensure my safety and to prevent further problems with the car. He is communicative, timely, informative, and consistent. My BMW and I are very grateful to have a trustworthy and honest mechanic!!
Extremely honest and thorough service. Rebuilt my Yamaha 90 HP Outboard boat motor from the ground up. Prices were extremely fair considering the amount of work that had to be put in.
Took my boat in to get a check valve replaced and the mechanic seemed to be a nice guy and somewhat knowledgeable in the trade. I then let him work on my boat..mistake. I went to pick up my boat after about a week and a half after leaving it with him, he then stated the boat was fixed and started it up and it ran well. He said that he accidentally broke the wiring on the tilt button on the engine and said that I didnt need it because there was one on the throttle shifter I can use!! I stressed about being upset about it and wanting it repaired but he said he couldnt do it because it was a tight spot and his hands were too big. My family and I took the boat out once and it ran fine and brought it home and cleaned it thoroughly. The second time we took it out the motor started spuddering from the start, the wngine was shaking and I knew we would be stuck if I didnt get it back on shore. When I got it to the house I hooked up the waterline to clean it and it would not start. I tried contacting Blueways and the woman stated the mechanic would call me but he texted me and asked if I primed it enough. Of course Im going to prime it in order to start it so I just simply replied yes. Since then they have not returned my call or contacted me to remedy the situation so now Im forced to take it elsewhere. Its a shame because I infomed them from the start that once the boat was mechanically sound I would be spending much more on upgrades.
On December 12th, 2015 My boat broke down and was towed back to the Marina, A mechanic I knew was kind enough to diagnose the problem as a bad fuel pump. I called this mechanic Monday dec 14th and asked him to fix it. He informed me he was no longer working for himself but was working for Angel at BlueWays Marine LLC. He said he would have her call me and she would have to get my approval to work on the boat and order the part.By December 28th, 2 full weeks after requesting service I ordered the part myself and intended to fix the boat myself. I finally received a phone call from Angel at BlueWays Marine LLC on friday January 8th 2016. I did not speak to her she just left a message on my voice mail. On January 9th I arrived at the marine to change the fuel pump on my boat. When I climbed onboard I observed a distributor on my deck and the drivers seat of the boat removed and placed up in the bow. There was a water bottle of gas/water on the floor of the boat along with bolts that were starting to leave rust stains on the fiberglass. Upon opening the engine compartment I found that both the exhaust manifold and riser had been removed from the motor and were no where to be found. I was informed by the marina manager that Blueways Marine LLC had been working on my boat. I called up Angel who told me the fuel pump was not the problem and that my motor was shot and either needed the cylinders rehoned or possibly a new motor. we are talking thousands of dollars here. The boat has under 200 Hours on itThe major complaint is that nobody gave this company permission to take my motor apart, I found out from one of their mechanics they did not even test the compression on the motor till AFTER they had it apart. I cannot prove that BlueWays Marine LLC damaged my boat But I can say that their business practices are not on the level. They never should have touched my boat without speaking to me first. They shouldt have removed parts from my motor without permission.
