We went to the Tampa boat show to originally buy a different pontoon but met up with Chris and another great salesman. They were highly attentive and showed us several Bennington options to exceed our needs. They listened and pointed out the options we wanted, never pushing us. They also offered to switch out the motor to the hp we wanted. Closing was fast and they had the boat sparkling when we came to pick up.Skip gave us a thorough overview on a sea trial and answered every little question (and more!) that we had. Chris then went through all the details of the incredible 10-yr now to stern warranty and service plan. Lisa was excellent in processing the deal, incorporating putting it into our trust.Riverside Marine is highly professional, customer-service oriented and more than fair in pricing negotiations. If you are looking for a new or used boat for sale in the area you will not regret visiting Riverside Marine. All the staff is professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Even post purchase!Be sure to ask for Sam and when in the office say hello to Lisa! She will bend over backwards in order to help you if you were to ever run into issues. Unfortunately, when upgrading to our second pontoon boat we did not revisit Riverside Marine. We did however use their services for the required engine maintenance and the staff noticed an issue with our pontoons. Even though it was not required of her, Lisa took care of contacting the manufacturer to address the issue on our behalf and was successful at getting replacement pontoons for our boat at no cost. I can not express the gratitude I have for Lisa and the whole team at Riverside Marine and you wont either.

We Meant to do this last month but today is the day !! We had been looking for a new Pontoon up where we live ( Near Gainesville ) But our options were limited. Additionally we wanted a bit more out of a Pontoon like speed and luxury. So we decided to head towards the water and Tampa. Called several Marinas before we found Riverside. The main reason we chose to try them was they are a Bennington Dealer. Bennington is one of the top Pontoon manufactures in the industry. Ill try to make this fast !First Met with Lisa ( Owner ) super knowledgeable and absolutely zero pressure. In fact she may have pressured us to not buy a boat that day !! We came back the next day and met them ( Chris and Lisa - Owners ) at a Boat show. Looked at dozens of Boats. Not one compared to a Bennington, we looked at several major brands but when it cam to quality, performance and customization we had to come back to Riverside. The Warranty is the best in the industry too !! We bought our boat at the boat show. Came back two weeks later to pick it up. They took us out for a ride ( just out back on their personal Ramp ) and showed us the ins and outs.One thing that I found amazing was their own staff pointed out a small tear in the Bimini and the seat thread. I would have never noticed. They had already ordered the new pieces a week prior. Under warranty of course !! I wouldnt even consider purchasing a Pontoon from anyone else !!For those who want to know we purchased an R24 Bennington Bow Rider and OMG is this thing amazing. 300 HP Yamaha and let me tell you this thing Cuts through the waves and Wakes like nothing Ive ever seen. Scoots across the water at 50 to 55. Its top of the line but worth every penny. We built this boat on line and Bought it from Riverside for $18,000 cheaper !!Thank you Lisa a Chris for an amazing Boat and no hassle Purchase.

This little place on the river is great, the staff is awesome and if you ever need anything they will take great care of you. they have a place to pull your boat out of the river if you drive your boat up the river or you could just trailer it over to them and they can assist you that way as well if you need parts for Yamaha they can order it for you.

Had a great experience with all the guys. They were well priced and knew their stuff. They helped me with an older Johnson lower unit. I will definitely be using them in the future and recommend them.

Had a BAD EXPERIENCE with Andy. my 50 hp motors buzzer keeps going off. first they said maybe water pumpthat wasnt it. then Andy said he would put it on the computer for half price since I do a lot of business there .he tested it and said computer said most likely a shifter switchI waited 2 weeks for the part. I put it on and that didnt work. so I went back asked him to look at it again and he said maybe in two weeks got a boat show. OK? I went back and asked again to look at it. he said sorry I cant besides u need a new motor .its just the warning buzzer going off. again he said sorry u need a new motor. WOW like I got the money to buy a new one. he knows that Ive been having 4 grandkids living with me the last 3 years. HOW RUDE! and the bad thing is his boss was right there didnt say a wordNEVER EVER WILL I GO BACK OR RECOMMENDING ANYBODY AGAIN AND I TALK TO A LOT OF PEOPLE ON AND OFF THE WATER.

I had two other shops work to fix the issue on my boat, never did fix it, the guys here had it fixed in two.days Im a happy boater will use again.Just again and again they help me keep running on the water, there wait time can be long for service, but when its complete its done right and every time they could not get to me for a week, they showed me what to do to fix the issue I was having for no charge, AWESOME Im going boating now

Good places for part and services

I know nothing about their work but it seems that they hand picked every rude 0 personality person in the Bay Area to work for them, went there twice trying to get information about bringing my boat there for some engine and cosmetics work and boy they all were out there, I’m new to boating so I hope it’s just this shop not something common on marines.

Rude service people especially Ray. After saying my motor was fixed it wont start on the water...had to be towed in. Ray said he didnt want to fool with the motor again.Unless you want to spend a lot of money on fixing your boat (and they wont back up their service)....bunch of losers...even the counter guy thinks hes too good to explain anything to you......bad, bad, bad service and terrible attitudes....DO NOT GO THERE....BEWARE!!!!

Went to Tampa boat show just to look, came across Riverside Marine they had a nice display. Sat down and talked to Lisa and felt as i was part of the family. We received a great deal,everything went so smooth. 20 foot Bennington SSX was ordered. Delivered sooner than expected,exceptional service. Boat was delivered to my marina which is about 40 miles away free of charge. Now we are part of the Riverside Marina family.

Last summer I used a few different mechanics in Jacksonville, FL for general maintenance on my boat. I used different ones because each time my boat ran worse. After 100% of the outings turned into being towed in, I decided to call Andrew at Riverside marine as I used to live in Tampa. I hauled it down there, they fixed all of the problems that the other mechanics either neglegted to or caused, and I have not had a problem since. They will be the ONLY ones to touch my boat from now on. It is worth hauling the boat here initially rather then HAVING to eventually!!! GREAT GUYS!!!

Had a good experience finding a fuel pump for my outboard. I wanted a rebuild kit for it but no one in the area had it including riverside. Since I needed asap for the weekend I opted to just buy a whole new pump as they are not that expensive. Needless to say I had multiple part numbers to have them look for and it didnt bother Kevin at all. He even suggested some other places to try to find the rebuild kit. Every other parts place you call seems like they try to get off the phone as soon as possible and are bothered by questions. Not the case here. Earned my business for today and in the future.

Customer service sucks! Went there to get a motor on my flats boat everything ran good then I realized that they didnt even run the line for my fuel gauge. Now I have to make another trip up there so they can run the line!

I just picked up my boat with a brand new, custom 502/502 engine---all forged internals-aluminum heads and intake and inconnell valves-topped w/ a 850 Holley Carb-It is a 25 Baja Outlaw and hauls butt !!! The wiring is all in place-the hoses are double clamped--what a great professional job---Chris and his crew did a geat job and my wife and I cant thank them enough !!!!!!!!!!!!
