Great marine supply. Better prices & service than West Marine. I think they are the oldest retail Chandlers in the Tampa area. They are only open Monday - Friday. I highly recommend Mahoneys.

First and foremost, this place is the best Marine shop I’ve ever experienced. As I called in for a gel coat product Matt was able to assist me and had the product at the front desk before I arrived. The prices and selection are unbeatable as well as the customer service is top notch. If you need anything related to a Marine application look no further.

What a great group of folks here, Matt, Doug and Everett. They installed a trolling motor, batteries, onboard charger and a quick disconnect on my boat and it looks like it came from the factory. Excellent work and great honest people.

If you ever wonder where old fashion customer service went. Well, it never left T.A. Mahoney’s! Professional, courteous, knowledgeable, quick, efficient, consistent, thoughtful, honest, and trustworthy. They don’t talk down to you. When I needed advice on redoing the gel coat on my skiff they helped and gave advice. When I needed advice on outboards and marine batteries they were spot on. When I needed an accessory added to my boat, they did the work quickly and professionally.I could go on, but you get the picture.

Prices too high. Was charged for four 1/2 inch shrink wraps at the 3/4 inch price. $.81 difference per piece.You can but most of their products on line for much less.I try to give my money to local businesses but this experience has changed my mind at Mahoneys.But they are very helpful especially the young man, kind of thin(sorry I forgot his name) . He knew what I wanted before I did. That was on my first visit about three weeks ago. Ive been back three more times and I live 25 miles away.

This is a great place to find all your boating needs. The employees are very helpful and you can see they enjoy working there. The prices are quite reasonable too.

I just had to leave these guys a good review after today’s experience. I’ve been shopping at Mahoney’s for many years and have always been guided well by their knowledgeable and friendly staff so I just had to share this story. I realized after I drained the oil in my outboard yesterday evening that one of the gallons of oil they sold me was the wrong type. No biggie. Very similar bottles. Simple mistake. I was hoping to go out today and prefer to do business with them because they are also more reasonable on pricing compared to a lot of other stores. So last night which was Sunday I sent them a Facebook message asking if they’d be open today. Labor Day. I explained what happened and that I just needed to exchange one of the gallons of oil I bought. They answered me within a short period of time and said that they are not open but one of the owners can meet me there in the morning. The owner himself reached out to me and we made plans to exchange this morning. He was there right when he said he would be and we made the exchange. He even apologized about the mistake. Honestly I could care less because were all human and make mistakes sometimes and he even made it right on a Holiday. Lol. I just left and finished the service on my boat. He saved my day by dealing with me on a Holiday morning. Labor Day morning of all holidays! Lol. After that kind of exceptional customer service I had to leave them a great review. Thanks so much for everything you guys do! You will always be mine and everyone I knows go to place!

T.A. Mahoney has been great. Self proclaimed DIY guy here that needs help every now and then. I dont know the names of the guys there but there have been 2 guys in particular that have been a huge help. Fixed up 4 of my boats and trailers from parts from these guys. They recently helped me learn how to fill and fix spider cracks in the gel coat and trailer parts from pictures I took. These guys are amazing and treated me very well for not knowing what I was doing. I look for ways to add them to my travel routes. Thank you!

When my trailer needed service, there was only one place I was taking it; TA Mahoney Co. Doug gave me a quick and accurate estimate and before you can say, works done I had it back. If you want quality work at a reasonable price, they are your BEST OPTION!

Ta Mahoney is a great place for marine supplies. Went in there Friday afternoon and the place was packed. None of the staff or customers I saw were wearing masks and there is no way to maintain 6 ft distance when it is that busy. Surprisingly I couldn’t find the part I needed so I left and went to West Marine where all of staff and almost all of the customers were wearing masks. Not sure of the reasons but the store sets the example. I am not at a high risk for having severe case of Covid 19, but I am aware that many people are and I think the management would want to set an example and also protect their employees.

T A Mahoney was great. I needed an impeller kit for my 1996 70 hp Johnson and they had it in for me the next day. When I got there to pick it up, I found they had a stack of other items I needed in their store. As a newbie boat owner, I had a number of questions about a few different things on my boat. They were all very polite and informative. I left with more stuff than I had originally planned and paid less for it than I thought those items were going to cost me. Ill be shopping here again.
