I dont always buy something in here but they always have a wide variety. From books to movies and music, they have a little something for everyone. They also have an eatery with oh so delicious treats. Friendly employees and a great atmosphere make Mojo worth coming back to!

A lot to look through would be an under statement. Sooo many record, books, movies, etc. Most records ranged from 20 to 40. Books were cheap and mostly organized. Be sure you have time when you visit, it is well worth it. Records are still the way to go for good sound. They have old and new music.

Love digging through all the records (vinyls) and then wandering through all the books. Great place to get secondhand kids books and they have amazing travel books! Staff has been wonderful every time Ive been there. They even let me snack and explore!

Coolest little corner of Tampa Ive found. Books, comics, manga, records, CDs, and a great little coffee bar. Be warned though- only awesome people hang out here.

Ive been going to Mojos since I first moved to Tampa back in 2016, and in that time span I have realized that I have become somewhat of a bibliophile and a coffee connoisseur. Now I am not claiming that Mojos was directly responsible for that, but they have provided me access with the particular items and fine goods that have been able to satisfy my fix and bringing me much pleasure and joy they did this by directly fueling my appreciation for good books, tasty drinks, and dope music.Coffee: I dont know how to emphasize this enough, THEY HAVE THE BEST COFFEE IN ALL OF TAMPA! I know this is subjective, but when I go to other coffee shops, I am always comparing them to Mojos, I wont say how they compare to other local shops in the area, but on my travels throughout the U.S. I have tried coffee from some of the biggest cities and supposedly from some of the best coffee shops, however, whether it is a coffee shop in L.A., New York, Miami, Las Vegas, Tokyo, New Orleans, and admittedly I cant compare them to Seattle which is known for their coffee, but each place has always failed to impress me because they always seem to be lacking something, and I just dont seem to experience that at Mojos, the barista there manages to consistently make PERFECT cups of coffee. I use some very inappropriate words when sharing this sentiment with friends, but it is just so good that I feel it warrants those adjectives to properly describe how delicious I think these drinks turn out. My favorite drinks there would have to be the Butter Beer and Cinnamon Roll Latte, as well as the espresso milkshake, but I always try something new when they update their drinks menu, however, they have an assortment of flavors and an array of dairy alternatives, including pistachio milk, so they can always make your drink to order and cater to any preferences that you may have.I havent spoken too much in regards to their music and film options due to not really purchasing physical copies of either anymore, but they do have quite the selection, and although you could find some of the vinyl and CDs elsewhere for cheaper, they have a high standard when it comes to the items they have in stock, so you can be reassured that they wont sell you something damaged, that being said, it is always a good idea to check your books before you buy them if they are used, they do accept books with writing in them, fortunately I have never found myself buying these accidentally, as I was always aware because I always look through the books first.

Despite Covid, Mojo was very organized and provided a small taste of what record store day is all about. For my first time experiencing this event, I appreciate it! The store inside is pretty cool and has a little bit of everything for everyone. Their prices are a bit higher that other places I have visited but their selection is quite extensive. I will definitely be back to pick up more records!

One of Tampas best spots. A great cup of coffee, vinyl and digital media to thumb through, graphic novels and books used to collectible. A must destonation.

To be honest I was expecting more. They have many sections in the store for various genres and they have a good selection of books. The only downside is that the books were still a little pricey. This is a great place to find books, but this aint the place for a book haul.

This is a really cool cafe and store that sells both new and used stuff. Its split about 50/50 books and records. They also have DVDs and I even spotted some VHS tapes here. The ONLY reason Im not giving it 5 stars is because I wouldve loved to have seen them selling zines or local, independent publications, which is really what I was looking for. Still a really good used bookstore and record shop.

I brought my teen daughter here to shop. We were pleasantly surprised with the variety. Fair price. Great staff.

Every time I’m in town I stop by mojo. They offer a wonderful selection in books and in records. The staff are always nice and helpful. The coffee shop inside is also really good. The pastries are always fresh and tasty.

Loved this place, my wife & I will be back! I loved the book selection and my wife was all over the records. We both loved the coffee 😁 we dont live close but we will be making the trip to go back in the near future I am sure. Nice variety of books and music. Seems a little unorganized at first untill you figure it out. Didnt find what I was looking for and was not offered help when standing right in front of an employee (I assume).Coffee was amazing. 12/10 will be stopping for coffee again if Im in the area.

This is a fantastic bookstore with an amazing and ever-changing selection. I’ve never tried the cafe, but I need to! They also stock some funky little goodies like bookmarks, notebooks, air fresheners shaped like tardigrades, and novelty products. If you’re hear USF or Busch Gardens, you owe it to yourself to visit this place.

Absolutely loved visiting this gem of a store. Records, cds, books and coffee. Doesnt get much better than that! Everything was organized really well and Im excited to visit again. Totally recommend checking out this funky little shop!

Poor Packing for Shipments. I do not recommend them for any internet orders via mail. 90% of Vinyl Jackets were damaged due to poor packing.Management offered no discount for damage caused by their negligence.A return was offered, but CUSTOMER needs to pay for return postage.One item was listed as new, and arrived opened and damaged Spent over $300 and received one item in undamaged condition. Maybe this place is acceptable if you are a walk in customer.

Theres not a whole lot of book stores around anymore. If you like the Nostalgia of walking into a vintage place, the hunt for a great book, or are like me and like to collect records still, this place will not disappoint. If you go, try the iced Mexican mocha coffee. They make their own syrups and this one has a jalapeno syrup that is amazing!

Great little coffee and book shop: right next to USF and University Mall. Specific shout out to Jack whi makes amazong french press coffee. It takes a couple minutes but the best cup of coffee you will find around here. Support local by shopping here. Stop overpaying for your books on Amazon and check out this small book store with a very wide selection of reasonably priced books.

Love this place. Huge selection of music in many genres, and the same with books. The staff is fantastic, and they have some really unique items that are great as gifts even if you arent getting a book or music for someone (cool pins, stickers, journals, etc.) Supporting our local music stores is so easy with a place like Mojo. Great selection of beverages and treats, too.

Inventory seems to change at a good rate to visit frequently for new dicoveries of media you never knew you wanted!I tried the galaxy lemonde. I was good. Mojo has really cool stuff. Tons of books, and plenty of records, as the name implies. Good variety of coffee and tea, and even hot chocolate if youre not into either of those. Youll find a chill place to look for neat stuff or study, and they usually have good music playing. Also it is frankly a great place for a first coffee date. Even if youre not sure what to talk about, you can walk around the aisles of books for topics. Would always recommend mojo for a place to hang out or look for books/records in a local store.

Coffee was good, decent record selection. Wouldn’t “trade” records here though. You are basically giving them your records since you can only use the store credit on used records (was told that they have to be opened-that’s how you know they’re used) but there were hardly any that were open and therefore “used” so ..really none to choose from.

Pretty awesome place. Has a good amount of books, records, cds and some cassettes...can find some hidden gems here and is worth a look, you never know what youll find.

Great local bookstore, café and record/movie shop. They have new and used books, movies and records to pick from. You can also order new books through them. Great way to spend some time scrolling through their shelves and grab a specialty drink before you leave. Would highly recommend the next time youre looking to treat yourself to something to read or listen to.

Love this place! Now my favorite used book store in mid-south Florida. They sell books, records, and more. There is a coffee shop inside, seating both out and in. Discount books on a cart outside. Plenty of parking. Great selections in a maze of cozy stacks that are well organized and managed. The staff is wonderful. Great tunes playing while you shop creating a wonderful relaxing atmosphere. Used books are mixed with new. Some prices are good, others seem a little high..feels like a college town place that caters to the entire community..nice vibe. I will return very soon.

Awesome deals on LPs & books, and the cofe shop is great too. The only reason why I gave it four stars is because it was too tight in some placeses for my wheelchair. But the staff is helpful and knowledgeable.

Cute store, albeit a tight fit; given how many books, records, and fun little collectibles are in a small space. The coffee shop looks very nice, and even carries Yerba matte cans as well.

Ahhh, what a hidden charm . Ive been to this a store few times to check out their variety of books & records, but not till recently did I decide to try their coffee. I didnt think it would be anything special, but I was wrong .First off, they have many unique flavors, actually more than most local shops in Tampa. Their espresso has a great, smooth taste to it. The iced lattes which are my favorite, are very creamy and refreshing . Ive had the mocha lavender, mocha rose and spicy mocha latte. All were amazing and do quite well in complimenting the espresso. However, I wouldnt get the spicy one again due to the overwhelmingly amount of cayenne pepper that’s put into it . Additionally, they have cool cookie flavors like lavender matcha & pb chocolate, which are made in house . Their PB ones are addicting.Customer service is fine as well. Both baristas I dealt with were cool & patient.P.S. They have a rewards stamp card for free coffee, which is always a plus, if your a daily coffee buyer like me .

Ive been going to Mojo for almost 15 years. Ive discovered so much music here and after rekindling my love for reading during the pandemic, I only buy my books from Mojo. Theres a wide selection of books and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable. There was a super nice employee there, I think named Sunny, who gave some great recommendations recently. They also offer mystery boxes, where you give them a price point and an idea of what you want (e.g., dystopian novels) and theyll ship it to you! Ive received 2 mystery boxes so far.The tea and coffee are wonderful, too. I first went to Mojo when I was a student at USF and I cant wait to take my kids.

The coffee from the cafe is excellent and the server is always so kind. I love the bargain books, finding large and even hardcover reference/art/novel books for $2 is worth the visit every time. I would love to attend a live event at one point.

I bought a Mojo mystery bag and loved it. You tell them what kind of music you are into and they curate a vinyl selection based on your interests. The result was some really cool records that I wouldve never picked out myself but ended up really liking. Id highly recommend the service.
