The installer, Mr. Ray,was one of the most professional and courteous people that I have ever met. With all the world is going through, it was refreshing to know that there are still people with good values.... We have been with ADT for several years and have two homes protected with them. We have regularly had issues getting cameras to display on the pulse app, doorbells to connect, etc. We have had techs out to our property on multiple occasions. The techs are always professional, knowledgeable and friendly.Our experience with the Customer Support team has not been the same. About a week ago, our system stopped connecting to the Pulse App. We called the ADT support line and they were unable to resolve the issue, advising me that I would need to schedule a technician. After waiting nearly a week without the system functioning property, the technician came yesterday. He was able to resolve the issue in minutes, stating that the system simply needed and update which should have been completed during my phone call with the support team a week earlier.Today, I noticed a $26 charge on my account for the technician coming out. I called ADT Support and the rep seemed immediately annoyed that I was questioning this. He took the position that this is “part of my contract” and I should have known about it. I advised him that it was never mentioned to me during my calls and I fail to see how I can be charged for this when the issue on with their software. He agreed to credit the charge but I can absolutely tell you that I left this interaction feeling terrible about the money we pay this company on a monthly basis for two properties.I have filled out surveys for ADT and shared feedback on multiple occasions before and never receive any type of apology or assurance that we actually are valued as a customer. I am DEFINITELY considering pulling all of our business at the end of our contract term.

In today’s world security is a major priority. For 7 years I used the same alarm company and if it hadn’t been for a minor glitch in the system, which revealed it obsolete, I wouldn’t be writing this. After talking with my alarm representative he revealed they had no customer loyalty program and to replace my system would be approximately 900 bucks.So ADT was my first and last stop. They were customer focused budget friendly and answered all my questions and afterwards even followed up. Fricking unheard of. There’s lots of companies providing security services for me I’m glad I chose ADT to add the layer of protection I can count on. I now have a new system which is reliable and easier to use. They walk the walk and talk the talk. Top shelf so if you’re looking for new service or to change provider check out ADT you’ll be glad you did

This was the second appointment to upgrade the system to 5G. the first was cancelled at the last minute due to product availability issues. This one worked well, but the whole experience was frustrating. ADT is charging a surcharge for their 5G conversion, something that should be transparent to customers.

Fast and friendly, fixed my issue quickly and knew the problem just by me describing it.

The technician that came to my home was great, I would request him again!!!! The 2 way audio on the cameras are very staticky and ADT says that this is my internet upload. I called my internet provider and was told I have MORE than enough upload and thats not the problem. Audio is still staticky no resolution from ADT. Ive been with them for 4 years.. :(

I added ADT cameras to my home and the sales person as well as the installers were excellent. On time, no mess and no issues.

ADT does not follow-up with clients when having complaints. Had a window shatter, my alarm did not go off, nor was I notified by ADT about this breach of my security. Lots of back and forth with little substance. I have had the service almost 20 years, first time with this breach and they failed! Do I feel safe with the system...no

I have been with ADT for 25 yrs now .ADT contacted me to upgrade my system the first time a tech was to come out he didn’t even come out he called at 5:30 afternoon waited all day but they sent a young man out named Donald he was amazing polite and dressed clean and I appreciate that the best thing was I didn’t ask him I didn’t have to ask him to please put on a mask he made sure everything was cleaned up before he left and he said ma’am I hope you have a good day to me we need more people like Donald in this world who care about the customers and not their own selves thank you ADT so much for caring and thank you DonaldGod bless and have a wonderful day and everybody that’s reading this please make sure you wear your mask the coronavirus is real and believe me you don’t want to get it I had it so be safe and respect others

Gary was prompt and efficient and answered my questions. He walked me through a process I asked about in a way I could understand and remember. I was very satisfied with his service and he immediately resolved my problem and checked the system to verify everything was working correctly.

After having four other home security systems. ADTs salesmanship and equipment is the worse home security I have ever had. My front door camera is always door and shows someone else home? Go figure. How do I get out of this expensive frightening contract.

Kevin from ADT came out and installed new equipment. He was very professional, friendly and respectful of our home and us. He was kind to explain how to use the new system, a few times.

ADT is one of the worst decisions I have ever made. The penalize you for moving by starting your contact over and charging you for more equipment... Even if they told you they wouldnt start the contract over. They apologize for the misunderstanding instead. I wish I read the contract fully rather than believing what I was told. Ive been stuck with them for a couple years now. Never ever go through an authorized dealer. They dont actually work well with adt. They might be good security, but not worth the bad taste. I cant wait to get rid of them and am lucky I wont be moving again soon.

We have recently had a new security installed. Our sales representative was Jonathan and he was very professional and knowledgeable from the onset. Our installers were Keith and Andy - and made our experience very professional. They are obviously experts in all avenues of the installation. Very helpful in teaching us how to operate the system and were a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend all three of these gentlemen.

In five months my security system has been out a majority of the time. I’ve had a false alarm that resulted in countless hours on with customer service - mind you the most I’ll mannered, insensitive reps I’ve ever encountered in business. ADT is a bully. They do not care about safety. My system was broken and the soonest I can get an appointment ever is over a week away.If I could get negative stars I would. It’s not worth it to deal with this company - try any other company. They have to care more. I’m serious when I say I would rather go to bed with an open window and an unlocked door then ever do business with ADT again.

We received assistance on two occasions from Luis Gonzalez, and he was so great! It was completely our fault they he had to come out a second time, but he was so patient. He took the time to explain everything and even helped get our app setup. He really demonstrated exemplary customer service. Would recommend.

Use RING instead. ADT charges over $59 a month, PLUS over $32 if they need to come out n replace battery in panel on the wall

Just recently had our security system installed and it was a fantastic experience! Rob Cunningham was quick to communicate, visit the property, and provide me with a very reasonable quote. Come install day, Rob and Tony Coton came in as planned with great attitudes and walked us through the process. Tony completed the job in a timely manner and confirmed everything worked properly. Couldnt ask for more and I would recommend everyone to only deal with these two guys! They rock!

Had an issue with my system (staff member hit electric outlet) and contacted Rob Cunningham this morning. Not only did he return my call within a few minutes he resolved my issue without me having to wait for a service call. Advice: if youre a long-term customer and youre establishing new service, dont take the package rate.Bypass the local salesperson, call ADT, and ask for the Loyalty department and demand the rate you want, cause the local salesperson doesnt give a damn about you, just his sales (like any other salesperson); dont let him (or the first person at ADT who you talk to on the phone) dissuade you.

We have several homes and businesses with Rob Cunningham with ADT Security. We couldnt be happier with his follow up, Customer service, follow through and commitment to assisting and delivering great service for us. We had an issue today that he fixed and took care very quickly. If you don’t use Rob C with ADT your making a mistake.

The problem is that you sales person wanted to charge a high amount to install additional camera outside and I truly need two or three more to do the fact that their some problems on my street. So it not with service its with sales

She listened to exactly what I wanted, made some recommendations and then got me a great install and monthly price for service. Juan did my install and he was in and out efficiently and everything is in perfect working order.

Great service from our new ADT service friends, David and Kevin. They were friendly and very polite. They kept whatever area they were working in neat. They had good knowledge of equipment . ADT & Defenders partner together. The two systems do not talk. My alarm system has not worked more than it has worked during the two years I have had it. After multiple unsuccessful service calls with “expert” technicians, phone calls to billing to correct billing issues, unanswered phone/fax/emails to speak to a manager to help me cancel my account, I stopped paying my bill. THAT’S when I finally got someone to resolve my issue, although not to my satisfaction. I had to pay them to cancel my service bc of a “contract”. This company owes ME for wasting a week of my life for all the time I had to put in to dealing with their poor service!

My ADT sales representative Denise Powell was helpful in all aspects of knowledge and questions I had with ADT services. She made personal stops to the house making sure I was well taken care of during my installation. I would rank her second to none and couldn’t ask for better representation and service. My installation guy was great and provided exactly what I needed during my installation. I couldn’t ask for better service from any company. They both definitely went above and beyond.

Mani came to my home today to discuss upgrading our ADT system which is 27 years old. She addressed our concerns and explained several options. She was able to help us add new technology and also lower our monitoring fees. We have been ADT customers a very long time and always get outstanding service.

We recently got a new corporate building and were in need of security, Mike Giampoala was our sales rep. We told him our needs and he provided everything with great pricing and different options. Mike was very specific to our building and provided us with different camera options and suggested which would be best for our building. He was always available when we had questions or order changes. We later decide to add building access controls after installation of our system and Mike was able to get them order immediately. Josh Comingore was excellent! Called him Saturday evening and he came out SUNDAY morning to look at my system and suggest solutions for adding some door contacts. Everything was installed perfectly within 48 hours after. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I have been with this company for over 7 years. I had to cancel because we sold our house. One week later the buyer backed out and I called to resume service. They charged me a service fee to turn back on service and then told me that my monthly rate would be the same if I signed another contract. WHEN I GOT MY BILL it was $20 a month more than I payed before. I was told well you signed the contract. ALL THEY SENT OVER WAS A DOC SIGNATURE. I would not recommend them terrible customer service .

I have been with ADT for the last 4 years and it wasnt a question that I would go with them at my new house. Bill Martineau was our sales person, he was very professional, courteous and all and all great at choosing our new system. We are very happy with them and thank Bill for guiding Us through the process.

Stay away from ADT, they have change they price even during contract period, for #1 world alarm services ( like they said), they stop service even next 3 month was paid, next 6 months they send huge amount of threatening letters and call, collectors and etc. Year later during night our fire alarms start working, this was happens 3 times. I will our their SIM card and disconnect power from alarm system, and never had problems with fire alarm anymore. Stay away from them.
