Seriously top notch security from a local small business. Most of all I needed personalized monitoring not a one size fits all plan. Because of the nature of my business I had to have full control over responses to my alarms. No one else offers this for the same price. The custom installation was a bonus.They worked with me from the get go. Listened to my needs and made recommendations. No pressure on things I didnt need or ask for. I couldnt be happier. I would recomed them.

A five star plus review: I was and continue to be a customer of Westec which exceeds 14 years of service and monitoring. The service and coverage of our security concerns has been exemplary with Westec. I noted a negative response relative to Westec which turns out to be the person that purchased my previous home in Lutz, Florida. His evaluation of Westec is totally unfounded and without merit. The real story is that the good Doctor was obligated to a previous security company and once challenged by them decided to remain with them even though he had contracted with Westec following the sale of our home. I would suggest anyone reviewing this website for references completely ignore the good Doctors negative review. If I had the opportunity to grant more than a five star review, I would.

Prepaid for one year of monitoring service but had to switch back (six weeks later) to my previous alarm company to avoid a hefty early termination fee. George indicated there is no refund for the other months I prepaid for. Wow. I thought choosing a local monitoring company would be a better deal but was mistaken. You are better off getting hardware and system installation done with ADT since they can absorb the cost with multi-year monitoring packages.
