We bought 2 sirloins today. My husband cooked them perfectly as usual (medium rare). These steaks were the toughest steaks we have ever eaten! They were not eatable! What a huge disappointment it to mention expense! First snd last time buying from this butcher shop.

Usually a very busy meat market/grocery store. Great selection of beef, pork, chicken, and sometimes lamb and veal. They also Cary some seafood. Additionally they have deli meats and cheeses and several homemade sausages. Their prices are very reasonable.

Adventure shopping at Cacciatore today for us. Years ago shopped at MLK store but we have moved to Hernando county, so visiting Tampa included shopping for the Palomia, Devil crabs, Spiced Mediterranean Olive salad all kinds of good food. Aroma brought back pleasant memories. All around great customer service. Definitely will stop by when visiting our home town.

When I first moved to the area I would make the drive from St. Pete a few times a month. The sales were excellent and worth the drive. To me I look at the flyer all the time. If you put one or two really good deals I make the drive and spend money elsewhere in the store. That’s how good sales work- they get people in the door. Now they nothing special that you can get nearby.

This place has terrible customer service.John is rude and dismissive. I called in a huge $200+ order on Friday for pick up and upon arrival Saturday morning they had my order printed and NOTHING was ready. They stated they couldn’t help me since they just opened and it wasn’t done the night before. They offered to “maybe” cut some fruit for a platter. This really was burdensome considering I was heading to my granddaughters first birthday and this was ALL of the food for the party. I will never come back.

I always go when I need to buy something special. The meat is really good. So many Italian and Spanish products in stock. Very interesting selection of wines at amazing prices.

Today Im at Cacciatore Brothers store on Hanley Boulevard in Tampa. If your Italian or looking for some good Italian meats and treats I suggest going to Cacciatore Brothers Its the only Italian place in Tampa. They have fresh seafood, fresh butcher, Delicatessen, handmade Italian sausage many types, tortellini salad, provolone Romano, wines and the list goes on and on. They have fresh seafood and they also carry baccala. They also have a huge fresh vegetable and fruit section. And for the Jewish people⛦⛤ they have matzo balls, knishes, Nova, baklava and lets not forget those Italian cannolis...💚💛💜💙👍👌🙄

I want to rate them with a 1 star so this place stays a secret. Best meat department. Fresh grab and go food. Produce never disappoints.

Ciao! Born and raised in southern Italy and now a proud resident of Tampa! My American friends have challenged me to find all the best and worst places that offer Italian foods. Here is what I think of this place. This is what I think that a grocery store probably looked like back in the 70’s. It leans heavy Italian, but not 100% Italian. It might be more just ethnic than Italian. It’s got some Spanish and Mexican foods, a nice produce section and a really nice meat section. The one thing I don’t like is the hours. They close at 7 during the week and 6 on weekends. For me thats tough but if you live close, this is really a great alternative to your local Publix, and is even an upgrade to any Winn Dixie I’ve been in. The prices are competitive and it’s been around for over 100 years so it’s doing something right. From an Italian’s perspective, it’s focused on the American Italian, as it should be, with their butcher shop as a highlight. For a native Italian, especially someone from southern Italy, we eat more seafood than we do meat, and the store lacks a great seafood selection, but so does most of the grocery stores in Florida I’ve found.

Must have been great in its hay day. Prices are reasonable. First visit here, Italian with a heavy latin influence. Getting service at the deli/meat counter was quite a challenge, took a number and watched alot of service staff doing...???

This grocery shop offers good quality of meat and fresh veggies, fruits, and dairies, too. They also sell frozen items. The attendants here were very friendly and accommodating. They were informative, too, they gave me some knowledge about meats that I never know about. They cut the meat clean and cost-friendly. They were cheaper than the other stores in the city.

The best Italian market (but can find some other items) in the area. For being so busy, everyone is generally courteous and efficient. Sometimes you will need to wait your turn, so GRAB YOUR # ASAP!

We love this place and we would be eager to give it five stars. The produce is fantastic and the selection of meats is incredible. The reason for the three stars is that there are too many people who walk into the store without wearing a mask. There is a sign on the door saying masks are mandatory but nobody is enforcing it. I hope staff can do something about it, as it is really unsafe to be in an enclosed space in those conditions.

We just tried the small mild homemade sausage and OH MY GOSH...delish!!! We also got the chuck ground beef and the sliced prime rib which they sliced per my request and the large mild homemade sausage. Love this market and plan to revisit. I also got a homemade banana break and lots of coffee. Hidden Gem!

I used to go to this place all the time 13 years ago. I was just recently in Tampa and have stopped here four times to get their cacciatore sandwich, some tomahawk steaks and other really nice cuts of meat. The quality has always been good but now they have more of a selection and even better cuts and quality. When Im in the Tampa area I will be stopping here to get meats to cook rather than go to a restaurant as well as their cacciatore sandwiches, damn those things are good. By the way, all the employees are very nice and helpful (great staff) and great selection of hard find groceries/seasonings.

I have been going to cacciatore bros for easy 20 years. The products are fantastic, but lately the customer service has been getting worse and worse. Its to the point I am looking for another store to take my service to. So sad because I do love this store its been a Christmas tradition to get all my specialty food from here.

Great meats and good prices! If you buy in larger quantities and need it broke down (like 6lbs in 3 two pound bags), WATCH THEM, they will try to sell you the higher price per bag. Just remind them your getting the higher quantity and they will fix it for you..

Great market with a really well stocked meat counter and knowledgeable people who are able to help you get what you want, at a nice value. My wife and I make the 50 mile trip over about twice a month to stock up on their high quality meat and many of their ethnic foods and ingredients that we cant find locally.

If you deliver here on a semi, dont back in behind the store. Pull in, theyll help you back out. If you arrive before 0800, wait at the front of the store because garbage guy shows up at 0800, and theres not enough room for two trucks. Fast unload.

I have been shopping at the Hanley store for over 2 yrs. I love everything your store. HOWEVER today the chicken cutlets price is $6.99 @lb. I was floored. During the last couple of months the price has increased from $4.00. Why the cost of chicken has remained stable, dont understand. The only reason is because its a popular item. What a way to treat your customers? So disappointed.

What an AMAZING supermarket!!! Never have had a single negative experience. All the employees are ALWAYS nice & helpful, their produce/meats/italian products are always fresh. This is not your average local supermarket. The selection of this little piece of heaven on Earth is just out of this world. This store reminds me of the Italian markets I used to go to as a kid growing up in New Jersey. Sure, its cluttered but -- the service was phenomenal, the products were fairly priced, and the selection was top notch. Already looking forward to coming back with my Dad!

Its all depending on the day you go in the meat counter had to stand there 10 minutes before someone helped you. At the check out the girl was rude didnt say thank you come again, she had her back turned to us and put our receipt on the counter. And theres days you can get help quickly and get good customer service.
