Another wrong prescription review here. My wife has astigmatism and NEVER correctly diagnosed her. This lady has NO idea what she is doing. Shes arrogant, full of herself and has terrible manners. Safe yourself and your vision.

Matthew the eye tech, Dr. Smith, and Mercy were all absolutely wonderful. The experience was very friendly but professional, no one makes you feel dumb for asking questions, and they took pictures of my eyes instead of dilating them. My glasses were supposed to be done in 10 business days but only took 2. Overall a very positive experience.

I had 3 visits. First a consultation, then a pickup, then adjustments. The 3 representatives that helped me blew me away with their professionalism and kindness. You guys have an awesome team, keep it up!

The doctor was great but the other staff not the techs could have been a bit more knowledgeable on things and pushed for me to ask more questions on my contacts like at a doctors office since Im a first time user. It was more like ok you can put them in and out have a great day.

Dr. Amanda Smith was amazing- I’ve been going to eye specialists for years and she explained everything so well and was so thorough. Ended up with her by chance but will continue to see her based on her knowledge, how nice she was and how well she explained the eye.

The tech Matthew that did my eye exam was amazing!! He explained all the test before doing anything and took his time but did it swiftly; mif that even makes sense. I felt he truly cared about me as a patient. The sales rep Ruby was amazing as well! He was very patient with me being a first time glasses wearer. He made me feel confident in the decision I made. I have been here twice now and both times every one is very kind and knowledgeable. I had to get glasses for the first time recently and they made it a very positive experience and I never felt rushed. I am very impressed with this place.

The service for my eye exam was excellent and well exceeded my expectations. Scheduling was easy to do online and when I arrived everyone was super friendly, helpful, and on-time. In particular, I appreciated their help with my insurance. The woman at the front was able to do some processing magic and save me a ton of money by maximizing my insurance benefits. From the front staff to the doctor and doctors assistant, everyone was professional and friendly. I never felt like they were trying to hard sell me on any upgrades or things I dont need. HIGHLY recommend this office.

I had the privelege of getting my eye exam at this Pearlevision this week. Whoever is running the show over there, massive Kudos. I have never walked through any doctors office where every single person was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely personable. They walked me through every step, even with insurance, and dummed down everything to lamens terms. They all were so friendly and happy and you just felt welcomed. I usually dont write reviews, but these people earned and deserve this. I will not be going anywhere else for my vision needs. Thank You!!

The entire experience was great from start to finish. There was a total of 4 of us that was seen, and we were in and out in no time! Picking out frames took longrr than the exam process because of there was so much nice frames that we couldnt make up our minds. All of the staff and Dr was super friendly and helpful.The equipment was up to date and there was no paperwork; everything was completed by the staff electronically, which saved even more time!Overall great experience!

This was my first experience with this eye care professional, and I was extremely impressed! Everyone was very friendly, quick and efficient. The office has the latest technology, some of which I didnt know existed. I loved NOT having to have my pupils dilated! I thought I would be stuck in glasses again, but the doctor knew of a brand new contact lens that just became available. I am grateful that the doctor is so current on her medical knowledge! I wouldnt have known that this was an option. I am now back wearing contacts and am extremely appreciative of the fine staff at this location for taking such good care of me. I will definitely be loyal to them and refer friends and family.

I went in for an eye exam, I have insurance. I was not informed my copay would be 0 if I opted for dilation instead they charged me $30 for retinal imaging which is a less effective method. I then got pricing on lenses which were crazy prices. I did not have my insurance break down with me so I went back to make sure they were charging correctly. Unfortunately they couldnt reproduce the first pricing I was given. I watched the process and all I can say is both times I felt like there was no honesty in giving me the lowest price. It felt like a song and dance routine with no integrity. I have priced similar lenses at other chains and found out I was being overcharged grossly. So glad I did my homework and refused to buy here. Keep your money and stay away.

Dr Chris Butcher, Eric the manager and every single member of the team at this Pearle Vision franchise gave superlative customer service when I visited them for the first time today. The physical plant is open, airy, well lit and user friendly. Every staff member in the main section of the office welcomed me when I walked in. Each member of this team is knowledgeable, personable and seeks to accommodate the patient. They employ state of the art technology at each stage of your visit from check-in, to exam to frame selection and fitting. I plan to make this my vision care home. If you visit them, I believe you will be equally as pleased as I am.

I was able to get in quickly for an appointment, and was set up with a new pair of contacts quickly and efficiently. I went for an eye exam and it was a good experience. The team made me feel comfortable and they use technology to improve the experience and reduce the length of the exam.

I had my first appointment at Pearle Vision South Tampa this morning and was greeted in a very warm, professional manner. The gentleman who did my intake and initial testing was very friendly and moved me along quickly. I had a great visit with the doctor. I felt that she was very professional, thorough, and addressed all of my concerns. The only reason that I am giving this 3 stars instead of 5 is the saleswoman who helped me after my exam. She wasnt clear at all when explaining my glasses options. When I repeatedly said that I didnt understand what she was telling me, she got confrontational and made me feel like I was the problem. When I told her the price she was quoting me wasnt going to work and that I would stick with my current glasses (that the doc said were fine), she got even more of an attitude. I am not a confrontational person, so when things like this happen, it really rubs me the wrong way. This location has a lot going for it, but I hope they ensure their sales staff is fully trained in both eyewear and compassionate communication and customer service in the future.

Wow. Firstly, this is a real review. I wanted to share my experience because it was such a contrast to my horrible experience at Target Optical a few months back. Pearle Vision, you walk in the door and literally everyone who works here looked over, and said hello with a smile. Refreshing from the woman who is constantly on the phone and gives you the “1second” finger for 15 minutes. Enough about those guys, back to Pearle Vision- first time they saw my wife she was in a room in under 10 minutes. And they got her through in about 15. Afterwards there were no frame people stalking her like a used car salesman, just one mention of frames at the checkout counter- we said we didn’t need them- that was it! Zero pressure! Everything about this place is a perfect picture of what a customer-centric service provider should be. I talked to the manager and he said it has something to do with them being a licensed franchise VS a corporate chain. Anyway, great experience. And on a last note, don’t go to Target Optical. Especially the one on Dale Mabry in Tampa.

I had an excellent eye exam from Dr. Natalie. She walked me through the process or what she was doing. The exam technology she used was fantastic. The entire staff was awesome as well.

Great overall experience here. The young girl that helped me with initial exam (Natalie I think) was super knowledgeable and well-trained. Furthermore the doctor was very professional, addressed my concerns, and fitted me for contact lenses with an updated rx. Received my new lenses promptly. When I noticed my right eye which requires a toric lens was still not focusing adequately, they scheduled me for a second appt and the doctor was friendly and accomodating in adjusting my rx up accordintgly. Highly reccomend.

The staff and personalized service at Pearle Vision Tampa is second to none. Dr. Smith was bright and efficient. Aileen, my optician, quickly picked the perfect pair of glasses that complimented my face shape and personal style. Eric, the store manager was well versed and extremely knowledgeable in explaining the various types of lenses and lens options that would best suit my needs; he is incredibly friendly and well spoken. Overall this was the best experience I have ever had shopping for eyewear! I highly recommend Pearle Vision and the Henderson Blvd. (Tampa) location specifically for their quality eyewear and amazing staff!!

The staff from the girls at the front desk, to the boys helping me price frames with my insurance policy, to the friendly and informative meeting with the doctor, I felt welcomed, helped, and on my way to better vision.

We had to get glasses for our 5 year old and found it hard to not only find glasses that fit him well but a team of professionals who could guide us through the painful process of getting glasses for a toddler. We just happened to swing by Pearle Vision and we are glad we did. Eric and the team there were just amazing, not only for selecting the frames, but even more attentive, when we had to an issue with the original pair. They were more than willing to help out and have personified the meaning of customer service. For families with young kids, we would highly recommend you to go here. Just based on this experience, we plan to go back there to get our glasses in the coming months.

I had to go in with an emergency due to a swollen eye and the doctor as well as the rest of the staff were very diligent and professional. I will definitely continue visiting this office and will recommend it to other people.

This is a REAL review and I am a hard to please person. I had went to two different places before trying Pearl Vision and the customer service was very poor, no customer communication, waited for 2 hours at both places, and the staff at these places werent very friendly. My husband told me to try Pearl Vision that they had been around for a long time. The minute I walked in the door everyone working there greeted me with a smile and was very customer service oriented. The manager fixed the broken frames that I brought in that literally every employee at the previous 2 places I had been to tried to fix and could not. I had no wait time at Pearl and was treated like family. I will definitely be a repeat customer here and would recommend this place above all other vision and eyeglass centers.

This is not to reflect all Pearl Vision stores-just this specific store. I went to them in January and had lenses put in the frames that I already had. The first time was a prescription that I had last year by my ophthalmologist. I could not see out of them and told me that I would get my eyes re-examined. I take full responsibility for the first issue, but I had my eyes re-examined, and I dropped off the new prescription to Pearl-and about two weeks later they were done and had to go to their store at Citrus Town-that was an inconvenience-I picked them up and wore them for a week-and was getting headaches and was not seeing well. I had my eyes re-checked and they optometrist read the lenses and stated that the axis was off, so I dropped off the frames at the store on Henderson to have the lenses redone. Again, another 2-3 week process to get them. I am again inconvenienced and have to pick them up at the store at Citrus Town. I wore them the next day, I could not see my computer at work and realized something was not right. I go back to the optometrist, and they read the lenses. They had the prescription swapped for the left & right. It was a really bad experience. I feel that they did not care about the value of my eyes. I was the one having to call and ask for management when it did not resolve the issue. I ensures I got my money back from Pearl Vision. The good news is that I went to Warby Parker and got new lenses and frames. They were awesome and had no issues with the lenses. I would highly recommend Warby Parker-you get an amazing deal on the lenses and the frames.
